*The next morning*
I got dressed and walked downstairs. "Good morning." Tony said and I smiled weakly but didn't say anything. I didn't know how to tell him that I wanted to move to the compound. "You look amazing honey." Pepper said as she hugged me. "Thank you." I said softly as she let go and we sat down at the table for breakfast.
The outfit:

"Are you okay?" Tony asked and I looked at Morgan before looking back at him. "Morgan go play outside for a bit honey. I'll be there soon." Pepper said and Morgan jumped up before running outside. "What's going on Aurora?" Pepper asked and I took a deep breath. "I've been thinking last night before I fell back asleep. I don't know how to say this." I said softly as I looked at the table and started playing nervously with my hair. "I would like to move into the compound. That way I'm not alone but I'm not putting you guys, especially Morgan in danger either. My nightmares came back after telling Bucky that I was being tortured after I got him out and I don't want to wake you guys up cause last night I woke up pretty good but I usually wake up pretty badly." I said and looked at them with tears in my eyes. "I appreciate everything you've done for me over the years and I love you guys a lot but I can't do this anymore because I WILL push you guys away." I said as a tear rolled down my face and Pepper walked over to me before hugging me. We stayed in silent fir a bit and Tony got up all of a sudden as he stared into the emptiness. "We'll be okay." He said as he walked over and hugged me as well. "I'll just come every night for dinner and put Morgan to sleep so not too much will change for us all." I said and held onto their arms. "Enough will change in a month already." I said and wiped away my tears. "At first I thought it was best to move in a few days but I think it is better if I go today. That way if I wake up badly, I won't wake up Morgan." I said when we pulled away and they nodded. "I'll call Steve and have him prepare a room for you." Tony said and smiled at them. "Thank you for understanding. I'll just go pack." I said and walked upstairs to pack.

Tony's POV
Sure it hurt when Aurora said she wanted to move to the compound but I could see where she was coming from. I watched her walk upstairs and sighed as I dropped down on the couch. "It will be okay Tony, she knows what's best for her. It's clear she thought it through. You just call Steve and then we go play with Morgan as Aurora takes her time to pack." Pepper said and I nodded before taking out my phone. I looked for Steve in my contacts and called him up. "Captain. Can you prepare a room for Aurora?" I asked. "Is everything okay?" Steve asked and I sighed. "Aurora will tell you herself when she's ready. Just make sure her room isn't too close to you guys just in case she screams, so you guys won't be too bothered by it." I said and it went silent on the other side for a bit. "Okay...that doesn't make sense at all but sure." He said and I looked up at Pepper. "Thanks. Once she packed her things we'll be coming your way." I said and hung up the phone. I looked towards the stairs and got up. "You think she needs help?" I asked Pepper and she smiled at me before softly pulling me outside. "No I think she needs time by herself." She said and I nodded before we started playing with Morgan.

*3 hours later*
As I lifted Morgan up and played airplane with her I saw Aurora walk outside with red and swollen eyes. I gave Morgan to Pepper and quickly walked over to Aurora. "Hey honey. Are you okay?" I asked and she just nodded. "Come on." I said and took her inside. "Put some cold water in your face, it gets the swelling in your eyes down." I said and she just nodded again as she walked over to the kitchen and threw water in her face. She dabbed her face dry and walked back over to me. "Are you ready?" I asked and she weakly smiled at me. "Yeah, I am." She said and we started to put all her stuff in the car. She said goodbye to Morgan and Pepper before we drove off to the compound. "Tonight just take your time to get settled. You can have dinner with us tomorrow and we'll FaceTime tonight for putting Morgan to bed, okay?" I asked and she nodded before looking out of the window. I could tell she was nervous, sad and exhausted at the same time, I placed my hand on her shoulder and we drove further in silence. When we arrived at the Compound Steve and Bucky walked outside and helped us carry Aurora's stuff to her room. We walked in silence and Aurora and I hugged tightly before Steve, Bucky and I walked out of her room. "Is she okay?" Steve asked and I shrugged. "I'm not sure, she'll probably say she's fine so she'll tell us eventually when she is ready." I said and they nodded in agreement. "Okay, keep me updated and don't force her too much." I said and as I turned around I heard Aurora locking her door. I sighed and walked back outside. I turned around and saw Aurora standing in front of her window. She waved softly and I could see she was in pain. I had to control myself not to run in and pull her with me. I waved back and she smiled weakly at me as I blew her a kiss. She blew me a kiss back and I drove off. As I was out of sight I started crying and took a deep breath as I kept driving.
