*The next morning*
My alarm went off and I slowly woke up. I got up and looked at Bucky, who was still asleep. I softly woke him up. "Hey I gotta go, thanks again. We'll see each other soon." I said softly before kissing his cheek. I changed into my day care outfit and went to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put my hair in a high ponytail.
The outfit:

I walked back to the bedroom and folded Bucky's shirt before placing it on the bed. I grabbed everything and went on my way to work. I arrived, unlocked the door and took of the alarm. I went to the part of the building that I am with my group of kids and got everything ready for the parents and kids. I made coffee and placed some drawing stuff and puzzles on the tables and made sure the playpen was cleared for the babies to play in. I then sat down and waited for the kids to arrive. It was 20 minutes later and I was lost in thought about last night as the first child arrived. "Welcome back buddy." I said as he ran up to me, hugging me tightly. "You want some coffee?" I asked his mother but she shook her head. "No thank you, I really have to go." She said and I nodded as she kneeled down. "Be a good boy today okay?" She asked and he nodded. "Daddy will come pick you up today." She said and he nodded as he tried to go to the toys. "Give me a kiss." She said and he gave her a quick kiss and ran to the toys. She sighed as she got up. "You know he always talks about you, all I hear are good things. So thank you for that, he really likes it here since you started here." She said and smiled at me. "You're welcome then I guess." I said and she laughed. "Yeah kids needs someone like you in their lives." She said and I blushed. "Thank you m'am." I said and she smiled before leaving. During the day we played games, made art, played outside and we all ate together. After lunch, it was nap time. We changed all the dispers and got everyone ready for bed. We have 2 bedrooms and I went to each of them singing the only lullaby I know and getting them all to sleep.

When they were all asleep we cleaned everything up and I went back home. I put all my stuff away. Changed into black before going to Madeline's apartment to pick her up.
The outfit:

I opened Madeline's door and walked in. "Hey Madeline." I said and looked around. There was no reaction, I checked all the rooms until I found her in the bedroom with the man from last night covering her mouth and holding a knife to her throat. "Oh my god you are pathetic." I said and grabbed my phone. I messaged Bucky to come here asap before calling the police and putting it on speaker. "9-1-1 what is your emergency?" A lady asked on the other end of the line. I calmly sat down on the floor as I told her everything that happened last night and what is going on now. "He has a knife to her throat?" She asked and I looked at him, I saw fear in his eyes. "Yes but if I step closer he holds her tighter. It might get ugly soon because a friend of mine is on his way and I don't think he will play nice. So the sooner a unit can come the better." I said as I gave the address and the lady cleared her throat. "Help is on it's way." She said and I sighed. "Okay thank you." I said and hung up. I sat against the wall and just stared at him for a while. "Why would you attack an old lady? She didn't do anything to you. Why attack an innocent?" I asked and he scoffed. "That's what you did to me too." He said and I laughed. "Oh right, because you DID NOT say inappropriate things nor touched me without consent. You're unbelievable." I said as I heard sirens. "Time's up pal." I said and smirked. He dropped the knife and tried to run away but he was too late and ran straight into a cop. "Aaaah ar runner, huh? Bad move son." He said as his colleague came over to Madeline and me. "Are you okay Madeline?" I asked and she blank stared into the distance. The officer asked me to step out of the room so he could take a statement. I nodded and waited in the living room. After 5 minutes Bucky ran in. "Are you okay?" He asked and I nodded. "I'm fine. I'm not so sure about Madeline tho." I said and looked towards the bedroom. Another 5 minutes pass and the officer walks towards me. "Could I get your statement as well miss?" He asked and I nodded. "So what happened from what you know?" He asked and I told him everything that happened last night and today. "Is she okay tho?" I asked and he nodded. "Just in shock." He said and I shook my head. "That means she isn't okay. She will probably be sleeping badly and everything." I said and sighed as I got up. "I'll just go for that walk with her." I said and walked to the bedroom. "Are you okay Madeline?" I asked and she looked up at me. "I'm so glad you're here." She said and I smiled. "Of course." I said and she nodded. "You're all I have." She said softly and I helped her up. "I'm not going anywhere. You need me to sleep in here tonight?" I asked and she nodded. "I'm sorry." She said and I helped her in the wheelchair. "Don't apologize Madeline, I'm glad I can help." I said as I pushed her out to the living room and saw that the police already left. "Will you join us Bucky?" I asked and Madeline lit up. "Well actually it isn't a question, let's go." I said as I grabbed my keys and Madeline's spare key before pushing her out to the hallway towards the elevator. Bucky closed the door and we went for the walk.
