A voice suddenly spoke from out of nowhere. Brigid shivered

"Who are you? Why don't I have any memory of my past? What am I doing here?" She was desperate to find the key to her question

(You don't have to know. You are Brigid, the Empress of destruction keep that in mind)

The voice's answer wasn't enough to satisfy her. But why does she have the feeling that she was reborn or something, why does she feel like she have been here

Brigid's back was itching, she reached for it and started scratching but to her surprise wings popped out "What the?! What is this?!" She panicked

(That's wings milady, you use it for flying)

"Why? I mean, does all humans have wings?" She asks the voice

(You are not human milady, you're a goddess)

"What is a goddess? And how am I sure I can trust you?! And where exactly are you?! You're just a voice inside my head!" She shouted

(I'm your servant, I don't have a name. I'm only a mere spirit who can talk with my employer through telekinesis)

"What's with the employer thing?! Please tell me why do I have the feeling that I was reborn?" She questioned him straightforward

(You died of tardiness, you overdid your power)

Her face became more puzzled "Tardiness? Why? What am I when i was still alive? Power? What are you talking about? I don't have any power!"

(You won't understand because you lost your memory)

She was speechless cause the voice was correct, she lost her memory that's why she can't understand what's going on

She felt her knees wobble and tears started to form on her eyes "T-then...w-what am I supposed to do now? I-I don't have any memories, why was I reborn?!! I wish those people should've let me rest in peace!!" She exclaimed

(There is always a reason why such things happen milady)

"D-do you know anyone I knew in my past life? I don't know where to go" she shyly twirl her hair

(You don't have to go back to your past milady, build a new present. As I was saying earlier, You don't need any friends. I'm here, you destroy,you create chaos, you don't feel pity to others, you don't possess a tiny bit of kindness)

"Was I like that? Am I a villain when I was still alive? Does anyone hate me for who I am?" She wanted to know more about herself, obviously the voice was lying. Artemis was a happy-go-lucky child, she couldn't even squash a cockroach

(Yes you are. Everyone wanted to wipe you out on the surface of the earth. All they wanted from you is your power. You were invincible the only way to kill you is to tired yourself. After that they took your power away from you)

Different emotions grew on Brigid, Anger and Revenge. It looks like the voice was successful to brainwash her, and if you didn't notice the pure blue eyes of Artemis was later replaced with bloody red orbs. The scientists didn't actually replaced it, but because because she was reborn to a whole new Artemis or should we say her name is now Brigid

"You said a thing about destruction earlier, right? How can I use that power?"

(Quite simple, point your hands to any objects and fire will appear right before your eyes, you also can crush stones,concretes and cement)

"I'm really powerful. Where should I spent the rest of the night? It's getting darker"

(There's a nearby town just a few kilometers from here. I guess you should go there milady)

"Okay!! By the way, are you always on my side? You don't take breaks? Do you always watch me??"

(Yes, milady. You can call me whenever you feel like it)

"About that, if you don't have a name what should I call you? It's hard to summon someone without a name ya know" she put her left hand next to her chin thinking deeply "How about I call you....Voi!"

(Voi? Where do you get that milady?)

"Uhmmm...it's nothing special really, but because I can't see you and i only hear your Voice. I named you Voi! From the word Voice...It's bad huh?" She frowned

(No, I appreciate it milady. It's kinda unique)

"You think so? Well anyways. Where should I go from now?"

(You're going to participate in the Hunter Examination)

'Hunter?' She thought "What's that? Why do I need to participate? I mean, I should just trace my target or should I just destroy the world!!" As expected, she's turning to a villain

(It's not an ordinary exam milady, it's a good training for you besides you need a hunter license to travel across the whole world)

"Hmmm....I guess it won't hurt right? When will it start?"

(There's a boat arriving in this island for about 2 days, we'll use that enough time to train your power)

"Sure! This will be exciting!"
