CHILD MARRIAGE.

In New York, the minimum age is 17.
In Connecticut it's 16.
In Texas it's 14.
Delaware remains one of THE ONLY STATES to have a minimum age to marry be 18.

Laws in 27 states don't specify an age limit on marriage. 27 states ALLOW CHILD MARRIAGE.

It's fucking disgusting.

In Texas, all a fourteen year old girl needs to be married off to a 30 year old man, is her parents and a judges consent. A child who can't pay bills, drink, vote, and is probably just going through PUBERTY.

That is the information I have so far.

I can say for sure that child marriage is still alive and well in the states. Disgusting.
