"You might not want to sleep they are coming soon to give you afternoon tee."

Ardel:
"Ok thanks Nurse Gonzalez."

Nurse Gonzalez:
"Anytime press the button if you need anything."

Ardel:
"I will."

20 minutes later

Lady:
"TEA TIME."

Ardel:
"Mm."

Lady:
"Oh I am sorry honey were you sleeping."

Ardel:
"I was trying to but that is ok."

Lady:
"What drink would you like?"

Ardel:
"Do you have hot chocolate?"

Lady:
"Yes I do."

Ardel:
"Can I have one please."

Lady:
"Of course you can here you go."

Ardel:
"Thank you."

Lady:
"Anytime I will be back for dinner."

Ardel:
"Ok thank you."

Lady:
"Anytime...hello doctor I was just leaving."

Doctor Burge:
"No problem have a good day."

Lady:
"You to doctor."

Doctor Burge:
"Hey can I come in."

Ardel:
"I mean it is not my choice doctor so whatever you what to do."

Doctor Burge:
"Well then I am coming in then."

Ardel:
"Come in no one is going to stop you."

Doctor Burge:
"How do you feel?"

Ardel:
"Sick I need to vomit."

Doctor Burge:
"I am going to carry you to the bathroom."

Ardel:
"Hurry up old doctor."

Doctor Burge:
"Hey I am not old."

Ardel:
"There is no time for games hurry up before I vomit all over you which trust me we do not both want that right now."

After vomiting

Doctor Burge:
"Let me clean your mouth."

Ardel:
"Mm."

Doctor Burge:
"You must be very sick if you don't have anything mean to say."

Ardel:
"Mm."

Doctor Burge:
I hate it how sick she is for only day one of chemo.

Ardel:
"Why are you here oh right port."

Doctor Burge:
"Yep I am here to give you a port but first let clean ok your mouth and put you in bed and then we will get started ok."

Ardel:
"K."

Doctor Burge:
I clean her mouth and face from all of the sweat from her vomiting and then I carry her to the hospital bed. "I think it is better if I put a sick bow next to your bed so if you are sick you don't need to go to the bathroom to vomit."

Ardel:
"Thanks."

Doctor Burge:
"Anytime now can you please put your shirt down for me." While she do that I go and wash my hands and put some gloves on. "Are you ready."

Ardel:
"Will it hurt?"

Doctor Burge:
"No I will numb your chest so you will not feel it."

Ardel:
"Ok."

Doctor Burge;
I got the needle ready and I saw that she took off her shirt off. "Look to your right please." I pit the needle in her chest and now we wait. "We wait for a bit and then I will put it in the port on ok."

A bit later

Doctor Burge:
"Ok I am going to put this in now."

Ardel:
"Can you court down?"

Doctor Burge:
"Yes I can in 3 2 1." I put in the and dress it and took my gloves off. "And we are done it look good to me also I am going to out you on fluids iv since you just vomited ok."

Ardel:
"You might not want to do it now."

Doctor Burge:
"Why."

Ardel:
"Because bhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh...that why........bhhhhhhhh."

Doctor Burge:
"Oh honey do you have a scrunchie for me to tight your hair?"

Ardel:
"A poor homeless girl like me would have that no I do not."

Doctor Burge;:
"I will be right back when you are done vomiting."

Ardel:
"Bhhhhhhhhhh."

Couple of minutes later

Ardel:
"I am done."

Doctor Burge:
"Here clean your mouth and your face."

Ardel:
"Thanks."

Doctor Burge:
She did that and gave it to me to put in the bin. "I will be back ok."

Ardel:
"Mm can I sleep."

Doctor Burge:
"In a bit I will get you something then you can sleep ok."

Ardel:
"Mm."

A few minutes later

Doctor Burge:
"Sorry I am late a patient needed me."

Ardel:
"It is ok."

Doctor Burge:
"I got you somethings would you like to see what are they."

Ardel:
"Mm."

Doctor Burge:
She look in the bag and saw a toothbrush towel toothpaste hairbrush and a scrunchie.

Ardel:
"Thanks."

Doctor Burge:
"Anytime do you want me to brush your hair."

Ardel:
"After I sleep."

Doctor Burge:
"Yeah good idea have a good nap."

Ardel:
"Thanks."

Doctor Burge:
When she fall asleep I kiss her forehead and put a blanket over her. "Night baby girl I love you so much."

Ardel:
I just heard what he said but do I want a family before I die that I do not even know.

2 hours later

Ardel:
"Bhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh bhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh." I press the doctor button because I need to talk to doctor Burge.

Doctor Burge:
"You call."

Ardel:
"Yes can we talk or are you busy right now?"

Doctor Burge:
"I am bout to go and check up on a patient and then I am not busy can o do that and then come back."

Ardel:
"Yeah."

Doctor Burge:
"Thank you."

Ardel:
I press the nurse button let hope nurse Gonzalez is still here.

Nurse Gonzalez:
"Hey me lady what do you need?"

Ardel:
"I have a question for you do you really think that doctor Burge want you be my dad after all of the hard things I have done to him?"

Nurse Gonzalez:
"I really think he does why do you want him to be your dad."

Ardel:
"Not really that I want him to be my dad I heard him say night baby girl I love you so much so now I do not know what to do I know I want to do things before I die but I don't if I want him to be my dad before I die what do you think I should do."
