I looked up at May as she played with her toys. I tilted my head a little as she giggles entertained as she made random car like noises as she moved the toy car. My ears twitched hearing the small squeaks of May's pet mouse I was strictly not allowed to hunt.

May continued to play with her toy cars, scattered dolls, and other toys as my gaze was fixated on the white mouse.

"I'm home!" Said a drop voice which mean't Richard was home apparently May's dad.

I looked up from my position from on top of the piano to Richard. Richard had brown hair and hazel eyes with a small stubble. May had Richard's hazel eyes while she had her mother's blonde hair.

"Hello, Sweetie." Jackelyn smiled who was May's mother and wife of Richard. I turned my head away as their lips met making May giggle and scrunch up her face playfully saying, "Eww."

Richard smiled at me and reached his hand out and pet my head,"Hello, Frida."

I purred a little before seeing Jackelyn's glare. She wasn't real found of me and got jealous when Richard would pay attention to me. But at least I had May though I had a feeling Jackelyn would figure out a way to get rid of me and May's mouse.

She seemed to prefer dogs more but hey she just needs to deal with me as long as I'm here. Richard's attention soon shifted over to May as he Hughes her and spun her around making her squeal in delight.

I curled my paws underneath me as I looked at Jackelyn her piercing grey eyes on her husband and three-year-old daughter. She seemed to notice me looking at her as the happiness in her eyes turned cold as she looked at me. The look she gave me seemed to silently say, "What are you looking at?"

I turned my gaze away and closets my eyes wanting to get lost in my thoughts before I unexpectedly got licked up May who cuddled me to her. Even if she was holding me in an uncomfortable position I put up with it not wanting to give Jackelyn an excuse to get rid of me and for the sake of May who I loved dearly.

Eventually Richard coxed May to putting me down which she reluctantly did so they can get ready for dinner to which Jackelyn left to prepare. I watched as Richard and May walked away and turned my attention back to the mouse named Snowy.

I licked my lips as I stalked towards the mouse cage before reminding myself that May would be devastated if Snowy would die and or disappear.
Which would make Jackelyn secretly overjoyed since that would be a perfect opportunity to get rid of me.

"Move Frida." Jackelyn suddenly hissed from behind me as she opened Snowy's cage. I looked at Jackelyn before my eyes widened, she was setting Snowy free.

I watched as Jackelyn opened the porch door and set Snowy free before leaving the door cracked open and going into the kitchen again. I needed to get Snowy back before May would be heartbroken. I quickly ran out of the house and quickly stalked after Snowy the mouse.

Unfortunately I was so distracted and focused on the task on getting Snowy back into the safety of the house that Jackelhn had returned and closed the door behind me leaving Snowy and I locked out. I looked behind me hearing the door close and seeing Jackelyn's smirk.

'No!' I thought to myself before going back towards the direction to where Snowy scurried off too. I needed to get Snowy before returning, I'll come back to May but first I must bring Snowy back as well.

That was number one.
