A few days later

Alexis's POV

I groan annoyed. "There's nothing to do and I'm bored. Why does everyone else get to train but I have to stay back and watch you carry stuff back and forth?" I ask Tazuna.

He just grunts and tosses me a beam. I catch it with one hand. I set it down beside me. "Just cause I'm a girl doesn't mean I'm not strong."

Tazuna points to where the beam should go. "If your that bored why don't you help?"

I sigh. "Can't argue." I set the bean where its supposed to go and I help them for a bit.

We walk back to the house for dinner and I sit outside on the docks, slightly annoyed.

Logan sits next to me. "Here." Logan hands me a bread roll. "Thought you might be hungry."

"Thanks." I look at the sky and Logan looks at me confused.

"Is something wrong?" Logan asks me.

"No. Nothings wrong."

"You aren't eating and you were working all day. When the dog doesn't eat then something's up." Logan says to me.

I continue starring at the sky. "Akatsuki. My Elder Brother is in the Akatsuki and always risking his life. I wish he was safe in the Leaf Village. But I have to remember what he did was right."

Logan nods. "Is that why your always coming here to the docks every night?"

I shrug. "I feel closer to him when I'm out sitting and watching the stars. We used to do that all the time. I just miss him. Nii-San didn't deserve this."

"No one deserves the life he and you go through. Your both bound by blood and are of the same womb. You share each others pain and sorrow. You both have a bond deeper than normal simblings. Your twins. That's what it means to be twins." Logan says to me.

I sigh. "Yeah but he has the Mangekyo as well and no way to heal his eyes. I want to be able to sit and talk with him again. And not before we pass to the next world. That won't happen though. If it were to happen I'd be accused as a traitor from Danzo and everyone under him would all agree. Nii-San would get into serious trouble with the Akatsuki and could get killed if not careful."

Logan nods. "Your smart. You'll figure something out."

My eyes sadden slightly. "I've been through every scenario, every possibility. The only one I have crossed out that I would never do, is the leave the village to go Rouge. I'd never do that no matter what and Nii-San knows why. I love the village with my life and I'd die protecting it. Every scenario and possibility have all come out the same. It spells death for me and Nii-San."

Logan sighs and gets up. "At least eat. You'll figure something out. You always do. No one thought you would be able to learn medical Nin-Jutsu yet you did. You learned sealing arts when that's an Uzumaki specialty. You have the brains of Shikaku Nara. Your eyes are the most special, they reflect your soul. Your eyes are strong, that means your soul is strong, your eyes show your emotions when your face or body language doesn't."

I smile at him. "Arigato."

Logan places a hand on my head. "Sure kid." He says and leaves.

I start eating my bread roll.

I sigh as I think about what to write to Itachi.

I just want to sit and talk. Its never gonna happen though. Nii-San.

I sigh and finish. I watch the stars a bit longer as I feel like Itachi's next to me as I sit.

The morning rolls around and I yawn slightly and stand up.

I tie my hair in a low pony tail and I wait outside the house for the others.

Everyone but Naruto, Tsunami and Inari walk out.

"Come on." Kakashi say to the others then notices me. "When did you get up?"

"She was up all night as if she was waiting for something or someone." Sakura says to him.

I smile. "That's none of your business Sakura. Can we just get going?"

Kakashi and Logan sigh and nod.

We walk to the bridge with Tazuna in the middle of us. I see everyone on the ground.

I run over to one of them. "Temporary death state. They'll be fine."

Tazuna sighs in relief. "Good."

Mist crowds around us and I can hardly see Logan since my glasses fog up.

I take my glasses off and my vision gets darker. I wipe my glasses off and put them back on and I jump over next to Logan.

"Formation 2." Logan says to me.

I nod. "Right."

Sasuke takes out the water clones and starts to battle Haku.

I grip a kunai as Sasuke gets stuck in a Ice dome. "Logan were moving to formation 6. Protect our comrades and our client." I say to him.

Logan nods. "I'll take the client."

I nod. "Alright."

I dash after Sasuke and I duck under Zabuza's arm and I dodge his kunai. It hits the outside of the dome and I smirk as it cracks slightly.

"Sasuke brace yourself." I yell in.

"Why should I listen?" Sasuke asks me.

"Fine burn alive." I jump up and do multiple hand signs. "Fire Style: Mega Flame Ball Jutsu." I blow a giant hot blue fame out of my mouth and it hits the dome. All it does is crack and I fall straight in. "Well then. I though that would have worked."

Sasuke glares at me. "Idiot."

I roll my eyes and activate my Sharigan. I watch Haku's every move and I deflect every thing that comes towards me and Sasuke.

"Fast, ha. My Sharigan can keep up with anything." I say with a smirk and my eyes suddenly hurt and I deactivate my Sharigan and hold my eyes.

Sasuke looks at me.

"ALEXIS." Logan yells.

I look up immediately and I deflect everything. "My eyes. I need to find Lady Tsunade in the next 4 months." I mutter to myself.

I protect Sasuke as I deflect what I can.

"Why do you protect me?" Sasuke asks slightly angered that I'm injured and he's not.

"You are MY little brother. I won't let harm come to you so long as I can help it." I say to him.

My kunai and my shuriken and Kunai holster get torn off by Senbon. I hold my arms up in front of me.

"I don't want to use my Mangekyo. I don't want to risk my eyes more than I have to but." I glance at Sasuke to see him getting slightly angered. "He's my brother. My baby brother. I have to protect him. But my Susano'o could hurt the others. I can't use my vortex thing since I don't have complete control over it." I look at everyone for a second. I close my eyes for a second and I activate my Sharigan. I pick up all the senbon that I need. I look around to see Haku above us then in front of us then to the side of us. The same pattern happens.

"What are you waiting for?" Sasuke asks me.

I continue watching. "Pattern. I found a pattern. Part one."

Logan smirks overhearing me. "Her brains going 25 mikes per hour now. This is when she's the smartest person in the village."

I pretend not to hear him as I watch. "Sasuke when I say now, make a break for it out. Then destroy the mirriors from the outside." I say to him.

A shuriken comes and Naruto poofs.

"The number one, knucklehead." Haku says looking at him.

"Now." I say to him and he makes a break for it. I block a few senbon that goes his way, but Haku gets in his way.

I appear in front of Sasuke and I protect him from the senbon.

"I'm not letting you hurt my little brother." I say to Haku.

I see Haku frown. "Then I'm gonna have to embrace the ways of the Shinobi and kill you."

I smirk. "Like you can kill me."

"Your backed into a corner and I can see it." Haku says to me.

"Are we? I run at him and I dodge under his arm making it out. I grab my Shuriken and I throw it at the mirrors but they only crack slightly. Haku smirks at me.

"Kekkie Genkai. Like my eyes." I say to him.

I frown. "Water and wind creates ice."

"Correct. Now watch these two die." Haku says and throws a ton of senbon while I do hand signs.

"Wind Style: Wind Scythe Jutsu." I blow most of the Senbon away and I crack the mirrors a little more.

Naruto gets in the ice dome and I face  palm. "Baka."

Sasuke yells at him.

"Wind Style: Wind Scythe Jutsu." I get rid of most of the senbon and I crack the mirrors a little more.

I look back at Logan to see him and Kakashi struggling a bit with Zabuza.

That's when I realize Sasuke got hit and is dead. I look at him with wide eyes and Naruto goes on a rampage. He destroys the mirrors and I run over to Sasuke.

"Baka." I pull the needles out of him as I set him on my lap, like I used to when he was younger. Sakura runs over and starts crying over him. "Its alright Sakura. Haku doesn't have thr heart to kill. This is just a temporary death state." I say as I place a hand on her head.

She looks at me with tears in her eyes. "But he said he was gonna kill us."

I smile. "Like I'd let that happen. Kakashi and Logan too. They wouldn't get killed so easily by one rouge. Now would you two?" I ask them from my spot.

They smirk. "Of course not."

"See." I get back to pulling out the needles.

Haku gets in front if Kakashi's Chidori and everything goes down hill. Gato comes and I walk over to him after he kicks Haku's dead body.

"Can I put a permanent Gen-Jutsu on this guy?" I ask looking back at the two Jonin and rouge.

"Temporary Gen-Jutsu." The three sya to me.

I scrunch my nose. "Your no fun. Oh well." My Sharigan spins and Gato looks at it with a smirk. Then yells.

Now its my turn to smirk. "Alright. That will release in a minute." I walk over to Sasuke and I help him stand up.

I heal most of his injures along with Naruto's. Zabuza takes down Gato and dies next to Haku.

Naruto summons Shadow Clones.

"Eh why not I'll help. Kage Bushin No Jutsu." A lot of me's appear.

"I think I have enough Chakra to help you guys out." Kakashi says a lot of hims appear.

"Wha? I'm left out? That's not gonna happen." Logan says and a lot of hims appear.

Gato's men run away with their tails between their legs and me and Logan laughs watching them.

I release my shadow clones and the others do too.

"Sasuke. Next time you activate your Sharigan only use it if its necessary." I say to him with a calm voice.

Sasuke's face screws up a bit. "What do you mean?"

"If you ever activate your Mangekyo, there is a risk to it. That's your eyes. That's why I'm half blind."

"That's your own fault for using the Mangekyo." Sasuke says to me.

I sigh. "The king. Do you know what that means?" I ask him.

He looks at me weird. "No. Only people like you would know."

I roll my eyes. "I learned who the king was when I was a Genin. Its time you figure it out to. And don't ask anyone who it is. Everyone has different view points."

I walk him over to Kakashi and Logan.

"Want me to heal you guys?" I ask looking at their injures.

Logan nods.

I walk over to Logan and my hands glow green as he sits down.

I work on stopping the bleeding and I close up the wounds. "Kakashi-San?"

Kakashi sighs and nods.

I heal him for the most part. "You need to be careful with that Sharigan Kakashi-San."

"I know." Kakashi says in a tired voice.

Logan places a hand on my head. "Nice job kid."

I scrunch up my nose. "I'm four years younger than you."

"Therefore your still a kid." Logan says to me.

"I'm 20, not 8." I say to him.

A few weeks later we finish the bridge and I'm sitting on the balcony of my apartment writing.

Itachi
          I think I just had the most slowest mission I've ever had. You remember that B-Rank that I accidentally got sent on? When I got my glasses? Tazuna the Bridge Builder put us in a bind. He didn't tell us this was an B to A rank mission and I got sent on it with Logan as back up. I litterallty did Nothing. The only thing I was able to do was protect Sasuke from the Ice Style User Haku, Zabuza's apprentice weapon thing? I don't know. They confused me half way through the fight with all the back story talk. Me and Logan fell off a cliff, again. He was eaves dropping in on my conversation and I chased him since before hand I didn't know bushes had legs. Once I caught up we fell down the cliff on accident and I saved the both of us, again. Then a few days after we rolled down a hill. Wait I got the order of events mixed up. The mission completely screwed me up. Me and Logan fell off the cliff after he confirmed I was nerd. We rolled down the hill when he was eaves dropping. Nii-San what's gonna happen if I don't figure out a way to heal my eyes? Am I ever gonna be able to see you again? What's gonna happen to your eyes? What's our fate? I don't know even though I'm supposed to be the second smartest in the village. I'm confused Brother, I'm not exactly sure what's gonna happen. Even though there is peace for the most part here, I still don't think that we have peace, otherwise I would be relaxed right now instead of confused and setting my brain into overdrive.

I summon my raven and I seal the scroll in a box and attach it to my raven's back. "Take this to Itachi." I send it off.

I lay backwards and I look at the sky. My eyes drift shut and I fall into the darkness, letting sleep consume my being.

A few hours later.

I open my eyes to see its night out. I look to the left side of me and I hold out my arm. My raven lands on my forearm.

I take the box off its back and I send it off. I read the letter.

Alexis
           You need to rest. Stressing over this isn't gonna do anything. Especially for your eyes. I remember that mission. I'm glad you protected Sasuke and that both of you are ok. My fate was decided the night I killed the Uchiha clan. If your worried why don't you take some time off and head to the Land of Hot Springs for a while. Last I heard the Legendary Lady Tsunade was there. She could heal your eyes and while your there you can relax. I have a mission there tomorrow. I'll try to see if I can visit you.

I sigh.

He always keeps his letters short. I know he's not aloud to reveal anything about the Akatsuki so I guess it has to be that way.

I get up and walk in to my apartment. I pack a few things.

I might as well take a break. I'm always so busy so a break would help me out.

I fall asleep on my bed a few minutes later.
