A few weeks later

Alexis's POV

We accidently got sent on a B-Rank mission thinking it was C-Rank. Right now were protecting a client. His name is Tazuna the Bridge Builder. He has a bounty on his head.

I walk next to Logan annoyed as he tries to keep getting farther than me.

"Would you quit it if I wear those glasses?" I ask him annoyed.

Logan smirks. "Yes." He hands me the glasses.

They are dark blue rimmed like the color of my hair.

"Oh my pride." I mutter and I put them on, seeing more clearly.

"HAHA. I win. Now you have to wear these glasses for as long as I say so." Logan says to me with a smirk.

"Hana help me. Please." I say to her.

Hana laughs. "Sorry. You two made a bet. Whoever said what about stopping first had to do whatever the other person says, remember?" Hana asks me.

"You don't look half bad with glasses. Actually they might help your Sharigan once it activates." James-Sensei says to me.

"WHAT? THEY'RE HELPING HER?" Logan yells.

"There are pro's and con's to wearing these glasses. The first con is that I'm gonna get scolded by my family, the first pro is, is that I can see more clearly. The second con is that I feel like I look ridiculous and that the other males from the academy are gonna crowd me more than usual. The second pro is that it could help my Sharigan. The third Con is that it could also backfire and I could catch myself in my own Gen-Jutsu. There are more but those are the basic few." I say to them.

"I'm sorry. Can you speak English please?" James-Sensei asks.

I turn around walk forward ignoring him. "It just goes to show that I'm smarter than a Jonin." I mutter.

"HEY I HEARD THAT."

I laugh and then a barrage of Kunai come at us. I pull out a couple shuriken and they deflect most of them that were coming towards Tazuna. James-Sensei deflects the rest.
Logan and Hana dodge the kunai coming at them while I just deflect them.

The attacks suddenly cease and I look around warily.

A guy with a mask jumps down in front of us. "I took care of your attackers. Ja ne. And Alexis, I hope we meet soon." The guy says and disappears in a vortex.

"Who the hell was that?" I ask.

"We were hoping you knew." James-Sensei says to me.

Life... Death. That guy killed. Those guys lived. I don't get it.

"Never mind that now. I'll think about it later. Let's just get the bridge builder home." I say to him.

James-Sensei nods. "Manji formation around him."

We get into the Manji formation around him as we walk. Logan in the back and me and Hana on the sides and James-Sensei in the front.

"Hey Alexis. Your gonna wear those glasses for a while, so don't lose them." Logan says to me.

I ignore him as I pull out a book and read as we walk.

We make it the land of waves and someone who looks similar to mother greets Tazuna.

"Father." She says and hugs Tazuna.

"Tsunami. This is the team who escourted me here." Tazuna says to her.

"My name is Logan Hyuga."

"I'm Alexis Uchiha. Its a pleasure to meet you." I say with a small bow and I stand straight.

"I'm Hana Inuzuka and these are my ninken partners."

"I'm James Nara. The teacher of these three."

"Come and stay at our place for the night." Tsunami says to us.

"We should really get"

"That would be nice." James-Sensei says cutting me off.

I roll my eyes and I pull out my book again. Logan takes my book away from me.

"You know, you would be a lot cuter if you didn't read these books all the time." Logan says as he holds my book up to a point where I can't reach it.

I try getting it but he keeps it out of reach. "Give that back." I say to him.

"No. I will when the mission is over." Logan says to me with a smirk.

I kick his feet out from under him and I take my book back before he falls on the ground.

"Stop doing that." Logan says to me.

I sigh. "Fine, I won't read my book for the remainder of this mission." I say to him and I put my book away.

"Awesome." Logan yells standing up and he grabs my hand and starts running.

I nearly trip a few times as I try to keep up. We catch up to the others and I fall on my stomach. "Ow. Logan next time you do that, don't run so fast. You could have broken my glasses."

"Sorry." Logan says to me with a grin.

I stand up and dust myself off with an annoyed look.

We walk inside a house.

"Welcome to our home." A man says from the living room.

I wanna go home. Get the scolding over with then sit in my room reading or playing with Sasuke.

The next day we set off back home.

We get home around 10 pm and I walk to my compound.

I walk inside my house to see Mother and Father talking with Itachi.

I try slipping past them.

"Oh Alexis your back. How was your mission?" Itachi asks me.

"Oh uh well. It turns out it was a B-Rank instead of a C-Rank." I say turning to face them.

"Why do you have glasses on?" Father asks me.

I scratch the back of my neck nervously. "You can blame Logan and myself. We made a bet to see who could get annoyed faster from the silence and what not. I lost and he's making ne wear these glasses as punishment."

Itachi looks at me amused.

"You shouldn't have made a bet, then you wouldn't have to wear these glasses." Father says to me.

I look at him. "At least I can see more clearly with them on. I've bumped into less stuff the last two days than I have in a week." I say to him.

"I think you look good with these glasses. And your klutz side seems to have gotten better since you didn't knock anything over on your way in the house." Mother says to me with a smile.

"Wait so your eyesight was bad?" Itachi asks me.

I try backing away slowly.

"Alexis, if your eyesight wasn't good then why didn't you tell us?" Father asks me.

"I didn't know it wasn't good until I put on the glasses."

"Hey let me try them." Itachi asks me.

"No Brother. I guarantee these glasses will do the opposite for you."

The next day

I sit in my room refusing to come out.

"Alexis come on. We have training." Logan says on the other side of my door.

"No. I'm not coming out."

"I will make you wear those glasses longer than what I had planned if you don't." Logan says to me.

"Fine I'm coming." I walk out and last Logan. "You baka. I don't like wearing glasses." I say to him and we bicker all the way to the training grounds.

"OH YEAH YOU FLAT CHEST?" Logan yells.

"YEAH DUMBASS." I yell at him.

We glare at each other.

"I don't regret taking that bet though." I mutter and Logan smirks.

The others come and see me wearing the glasses.

"So how was your scolding last night?" Hana asks me.

"I'd rather not talk about my bad eyesight and the lecture about how I should have told them about it." I say covering my face with an embarrassed blush.

"Ok today we are working on both of your Do-Jutsu and Hana's sense's." James-Sensei says to us.

"Hai."

James-Sensei leads the three of us to a cliff. "To activate the Sharigan you need a sad or scary experience right?" He asks me.

"Yes but I don't think one of you jumping off a cliff is gonna work. Besides it dwells deep in emotion. Take Yoshino-Sensei and Shikaku-San. If one of them were to die the other one would be deeply saddened, correct?" I say to him and James-Sensei nods. "In my case, since I don't really get sad, activating my Sharigan that way won't work. Fear let's power take over. I don't want to do it by means if fear. I'd rather activate my Sharigan some way else." I say to him.

"Ok then how about means of protection then?" Hana suggests.

"That might work."

"Ok Logan jump off so Alexis can save you." Hana says to him.

"What?" We both ask.

"That just might work. Do it Logan." James-Sensei says to him.

"My poor pride." Me and Logan say simultaneously.

Logan jumps off and I watch him. Suddenly my protective instincts take over and I jump down after him. I do a few hand signs. "Wind Style: Wind Cushion." I say and wind forms on the ground. I make it to Logan and I put myself under him. I hit the wind cushion and Logan hits me.

"She actually saved him." Hana says.

Logan looks back at me. "Your Sharigan."

Logan gets up and I stand up, making the wind cushion disappear.

I breath a bit heavy once my protective instincts leave.

We walk back to James-Sensei and he looks at my eyes.

"You unlocked your Sharigan. Good." James-Sensei says to me.

"I'm surprised she isn't crushed. I fell right ontop of her." Logan says to him.

"I'm fine. I'm an Uchiha, we're stronger than we look." I say to him annoyed.

"Alright let's deactivate your Sharigan."

I close my eyes and then I open them.

"Good. Now activate it again."

I roll my eyes and I close my eyes and I open them again.

"Very good."

I deactivate it by blinking and we train for a bit with Logan's Byukugan and Hana's senses.

Once training was over I hurried home as to not be seen in public with glasses.

I sit in my room and I hear talking.

"Alexis. Come here." Father yells.

I stand up and walk to his meeting room to see Sensei.

"Show me your Sharigan."

I glare at Sensei and he laughs nervously.

"Fine." I close my eyes then open them to reveal the Sharigan, illuminated by my glasses.

Father looks at me shocked. "3 tomes and you only activated it today. How did you activate it?"

"I didn't want to do it by sadness because that would mean losing something close to me. I didn't want to do it by fear because then the power would control me. I did it with my protective instincts." I say to him.

"That's different than how I activated mine." Itachi says to me.

The four of us talk and I deactivate my Sharigan as I walk out.

"Alexis. Let's go out for some ramen." Logan and Hana say to me.

I look at Itachi and he nods.

"I'll tell Mother."

I hug him. "Arigato Nii-San." I say to him and I run over to my team.

We walk through town and all the villagers stare at me. We get to Ichiraku's and sit down.

"Hey Alexis, Logan and Hana." Ayame says to us. "Your usual Miso?"

We nod. "Hai."

A few years later

Me, Logan and Hana walk through the gates, back from a mission.

We are all Jonin now but we decided to stick together. I still wear the glasses even though Logan said I could take them off. I activated my Mangekyo from my protective side, on a mission.

"Should we walk you home?" Logan asks me.

"No. We need to see the Hokage first about the mission." I say to him.

Logan nods.

If you can't tell we've gotten along and the three if us became a great team. We know exactly what to do on our missions. We have different formations for the missions we do.

We walk to the Hokage office and I knock.

"Come in."

We walk in.

"Alexis. I have a question to ask you. Who's side are you on? The Uchiha or the Leaf Village?" Lord Hokage asks me.

"I'm sorry? Your asking me to choose a side? What for?" I ask him.

"Your father is conspiring against the village. That's why." Lord Hokage says to me.

"Father? But he wouldn't. He knows how much the village means to me and Itachi." I say to him.

"Go ask him." Lord Hokage says to me.

I look at my teammates.

"We'll report then come to meet you." Logan says to me.

I nod and walk out. I run back home and I knock on Father's office door.

"Enter."

I slide open the door and walk in, then I slide it closed.

"Father. I have a question to ask you." I say to him as I sit in front of him.

He looks at me.

"I heard from a source that your conspiring against the village. Is that true?" I ask him.

Father sighs. "Yes it is. Choose a side daughter." Father says to me.

I look down. "I see." I stand up and walk to the door. "I'm sorry Father. But this is exactly what I didn't want to happen. I told you years ago that I didn't want it to happen and yet it is. I have to side with the village Father. I love you and Mother so much but the village hasn't done anything to us. I love Sasuke and Itachi and the Uchiha. I love you guys so much but I don't see the reason for bloodshed." I say to him.

Father sighs. "Your too kind Alexis. Things always don't go the way we want them to." Father says to me.

I run over and hug him. "I'm sorry Father." I run out the door and to my room. I seal all my books in a scroll along with all my ninja stuff and my pictures. I put the scroll away and I run to the kitchen. "Mother."

"Hello Alexis. I suppose Fugaku told you then. I hope you made the right desicion." Mother says to me.

I hug her and I start crying. "I'm so sorry Mother. But I can't side with the Uchiha when the village did nothing to us." I say to her as I cry my eyes out.

"It's alright sweet heart. You do what you think is right." Mother says as she comforts me.

I step back a few minutes later. "I love you mother." I run out of the compound and I run to training ground 11.

I sit up against a tree, sobbing.

Someone sits on either side of me.

"So it was true." Hana says and she hugs my side. "Its alright."

"Yeah. Were always here for you." Logan says it me. "We are a team after all."

"I chose the village over my own family. I didn't see a reason why my Father is opposing the village."

"Let's go tell Lord Hokage before he orders the Uchiha to be killed." Logan says to me.

I wipe my tears away from under my glasses and I nod. Logan and Hana help me up and we walk to the Hokage office.

"So who's side are you on?" Lord Danzo asks.

I look down. "Why? Why is my Father opposing? I don't see the need. I chose the village because I know that there was no need to cause bloodshed. But I don't understand. Why? Why does my clan have to die?" I ask Lord Hokage.

"I cannot answer that Alexis. Go see your brother. He's the one who is eliminating the Uchiha." Lord Hokage says to me.

My eyes widen. "Nii-San." I turn around and run out. I run to where I know Itachi will be and I find him.

Itachi looks at me full of guilt. "Alexis."

I run over and I hug him and I start crying all over again. "I chose the village. Why Nii-San? Why does Father have to oppose the Village?" I ask him.

"Power. That's why. The Uchiha want their power back." Itachi says to me and he hugs me back and starts crying on my shoulder silently.

"Nii-San. Please make Mother and Father's deaths painless." I say to him as I sob into his chest.

"I will. You said your goodbyes to them right?" Itachi asks me.

I nod. "Yeah. It was too painful. I love my family and I love the village. It was the hardest desicion to make, but I knew that the village did nothing to us so I sided with them, seeing as there was no reason for thr Uchiha to attack."

"Alexis, what Sharigan do you have?" Itachi asks me.

"Normal and Mangekyo."

"I'll come to see you after. Meet me outside the village." Itachi says then disappears.

I teleport outside the village and I wait as tears fall at a steady pace.

A while later Itachi appears in front of me in his ANBU uniform.

I look at him as he looks at me with sad eyes.

"I've done it." Itachi chokes out.

"I see. And Sasuke?" I ask him.

"I kept him alive." Itachi says to me.

I nod. "I love you Nii-San. Please be safe. I'll send a message via Raven once a month." I say and hug him tightly.

Itachi hugs me back the forehead bumps me then leaves.

I walk back in the village and I run to Hana's house. I knock on her door.

Tsume answers. "Oh Alexis, Hana just got back." She looks at me. "Is something wrong?"

"Tsume-san." I hug her crying. She looks at me confused but hugs me back trying to calm me down.

I calm down after a bit and Tsume leads me to her living room.

"What happened?" Tsume asks me.

Hana walks in and looks at me sadly then sits next to me.

"My clan has been eliminated. Only my brothers and I remain." I say looking down.

I hear Akamaru barking and some thumping then Kiba runs in. "Mom." Kiba see's me and my tear stained face.

I look at him with wide eyes. I don't like people seeing me in a broken state like I am now.

Someone knocks on the door.

"I'll get it." Tsume says and walks to the door. She opens it. "Logan?"

Kiba walks over to me. "What happened to you?"

"You'll find out soon enough. Now go back up stairs and get ready for dinner." Hana says to him.

Kiba nods unsure then goes back upstairs.

Logan and Tsume walk in.

"Alexis." Logan says surprised at my broken state.

"The deeds been done. Itachi killed the Uchiha clan." I say to him.

Logan goes home after a while of the three of us talking and I spend the night with Hana. I sleep in the living room.

The next morning.

I get up. "I need to check on Sasuke. He's gonna hate me." I mutter. I walk out of the house and I run to the auchiha compound, I find Sasuke waking up on the ground. "Sasuke." I yell and I run over to him. I slide on my bare knee's and I stop in front of him. I help him sit up.

Sasuke looks at me. "Why are you still alive? Everyone is dead. Did you have a role in this too?" Sasuke asks me.

"I see." I look at him. "I'm sorry Sasuke. I did what I had to do for a reason. I did not have a part in this killing but I cannot stay in the compound any longer." I say to him.

I poke Sasuke in the forehead with a weak smile.

Sasuke pushes away from me. "You aren't a real Uchiha then!" Sasuke yells at me.

I look at him saddly. "I see. Then you are now the only Uchiha left." I say to him and Sasuke's eyes widen. "Nii-San did what he had to do for a good reason. And I believe him and trust him." I stand up and turn away from Sasuke. "You have disowned me then."

"Goodbye." Sasuke says angry at me.

I look down sadly then I jump out of the compound after touching one of the fans painted on the wall. I run down the streets and I pass Logan and Hana. I look back and stop. I walk towards them.

"Is something wrong?" Hana asks me.

"Sasuke hates me since I didn't stop the massacre. He's disowned me and stripped me on my Uchiha title."

Logan and Hana's eyes widen. "What?"

I shrug. "Oh well. I can't do anything about it. The female heiress of the clan who has brothers, doesn't get the title as head even if she is the eldest one." I pause. "Now I have to find an apartment."

"You can go ask Lord Hokage." Hana suggests. "Then after we can go clothes shopping for you now since you will finally have a variety of clothes to pick." Hana says to me.

I look at her unamused. "I don't like shopping."

Logan puts a hand on my shoulder. "I'll be going to. Just to see you suffer from this."

I kick his feet out from under him. "Jerk."

Logan laughs. "Yeah but still. Besides. You might find clothes that go well with your glasses."

I huff and I walk over him and he squirms. I walk to the Hokage building and I knock on his office door.

"Come in."

I walk in. "Lord Hokage. I'm moving out of my compound and I need an apartment." I say to him.

"Why are you moving?"

"Reasons."

He sighs and looks through his drawer. He grabs a key and some papers. "Fill those out." He says dropping a stack of papers on his desk.

I summon a few shadow clones and we go through the papers in a breeze. I set them on his desk and he hands me the key. "Its already furnished and has empty book sheleves."

My eyes light up. "Perfect. Arigato Lord Hokage." I walk out and run to the apartment, dragging Logan and Hana with me when I find them.

We get to the apartment place and I walk up the flight of stairs with the two behind me. I unlock the door and we walk in.

I look around. "Wow."

"Damn." The other two say.

"Hey Alexis, we never noticed before but you don't swear. Why is that?" Logan asks me.

I raise an eyebrow. "I don't need to." I say to him and I put all my books away on the shelves and I set up my ninja stuff and my pictures.

"Wow. That was fast. But now. Its time for clothes shopping." Hana says to me.

"But." I object and she grabs mine and Logans hand and drags us to the clothes store.

I look around and I find an outfit.

I grab it and I walk into the dressing room. I change from my dark blue long sleeve with the Uchiha sign on the back and my black skirt.

The outfit now consists of a dark blue long sleeve and black leggings. I have a long sleeve fishnet guard.

I put my black ninja sandals on and I walk out.

Hana falls as she looks at my outfit. "You only got a look alike outfit but with leggings and no Uchiha sign."

Logan laughs at Hana.

"I don't like shopping." I attach my ninja stuff on me and I look at her unamused.

"Fine. Keep that outfit. I don't care anymore." Hana says to me.

I smile at her. "Yay. Besides my glasses go with my outfit." I say to her.

Logan laughs more.

I pay and leave with the two behind me. Oh yeah Logan just wears the standard Jonin Outfit with his forehead guard on his forehead.

Hana wears Inuzuka style clothes.

I tie my forehead protector on my left arm.

"So now what are you gonna do?" Hana asks me.

"Probably go train or study, like the uptight person she is." Logan says to her.

I attempt to kick his legs out from under him but he dodges. My leg swings back and makes him fall backwards.

"I'm still Alexis Uchiha. I just can't use my last name."

"Alright how about we go for dumplings?" Hana asks us.

"Sure." The two of us say.

Someone walks over to us.
