A few Days later

Alexis's POV

I stand in Lady Tsunade's office.

A toad appears.

"Alexis-girl, Tsunade-girl, I have some bad news." Lord Fukasaku says to us.

I stand next to Lady Tsunade confused.

"Jiraiya-Boy is dead." He says to us slowly.

My eye's widen in shocked and I close them. "Lord Jiraiya is, dead? That can't be possible." I say to him and Lady Tsunade looks down sad.

I'm losing one person after another, first Asuma, then Itachi, now Jiraiya?

"Call Naruto, Sakura, Kakashi, Sai, Logan and Hana." Lady Tsunade says to me.

I nod and walk out. I call them and we walk in.

I stand next to Lady Tsunade as Lord Fukasaku breaks the news.

Naruto blames Lady Tsunade for letting him go and me for not helping him like I always do with other Shinobi.

"Naruto, she did nothing wrong." Logan says to him.

I hold my hand up, stopping Logan and Hana. "I know where he's coming from, there's no need to get worked up about it." I say to them and they look at me shocked, then frown. "If you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go home." I say to them and Lady Tsunade and Shizune nod. I walk past everyone and out the door.

I walk down the halls and to my clan's training ground. I sit on the dock and look at the water.

I sit there thinking about the memories of me and Jiraiya and me and Itachi. I hug my knee's up to me and I cry quietly into them.

I calm down after a while and I walk around the Leaf village. I find Naruto and I sit down next to him, he glances at me before he looks back down sadly.

"You know, Lord Jiraiya-Sensei wouldn't like to see you like this, but I know how you feel." I say to him as I look at the night sky.

"No you don't." Naruto says to me.

"I lost my teacher too, I lost my brothers, my clan, and my family." I say to him and Naruto glances at me again. "My mother wouldn't want me to be sad and neither would Itachi, Father and James-Sensei, Jiraiya was one of my teachers too." I say to him and Naruto looks at me shocked.

"Pervy Sage taught you?" Naruto asks me.

"Some things, like deception and how to deceive people." I say to him and Naruto looks back down. I place a hand on his shoulder. "Look, I don't know how deep the bond was between the two of you, but you need to pull it together, no one here in the village wants you to be upset." I say to him and Naruto looks at me shocked.

"Your just saying that so I'll stop sulking." Naruto says to me.

I sigh and get up. I shake my head. "No Naruto, I'm telling you to man up, there's going to be casualties in the Shinobi World, Jiraiya wasn't as careful on this mission and he died, I'm sad about that, I was sad that Asuma got killed too, and I wish there wasn't such thing like that, no one wants anyone close to them die, it happens and we can't control it." I say to him and Naruto looks at me shocked once again. I look at him before I start walking down the street again. 

"Wait, where are you going?" Naruto asks me.

I look back at him. "I'm going home for real this time." I say to him and I walk back to my apartment. I lay face first on it and groan.

Two people walk in as I slowly slip from consciousness. I open my eyes to see Lady Tsunade and my Landlady.

I sit up and look at them.

"Storm, I need to speak to you." Lady Tsunade says and my landlady leaves.

I motion for her to sit at the end of my bed and she does so.

"I just got wind that Itachi Uchiha of the Akatsuki was killed." Lady Tsunade says choking back her tears.

I place a hand on her shoulder. "I know, I've known for a few days now, twin tuition right?" I try hiding my pain with a smile but it falters. "Jiraiya-Sensei's death is hard on you right now, I know it is, it's one painful death after another, I know that better than anyone in this village. You miss him and so does everyone else." I say to her and Lady Tsunade looks at me.

"Alexis." Lady Tsunade says to me.

I frown slightly. "I've cried so much that past few days, my heart hurts because I lost the only family whom I trusted with my life and it aches for my clan to come back and breaks knowing that my younger sibling has turned into someone I don't know anymore." I say to her and Lady Tsunade just cries on my shoulder because of the loss of Jiraiya, I shake slightly as I cry quietly about everything.

The Next Day

I got sent on a solo mission to take care of some gang people on the boarder of the Fire country because they are disturbing the villagers and not letting them gather anything outside the village.

I shake my head to clear up the fogginess in it.

I should have gotten some sleep, but something kept nagging my mind. Even if I did get sleep, it'd probably feel like nothing at all.

I make it to the border and I get surrounded by the gang members and their leader.

I activate my Sharigan and make quick work of them. The village chief thanks me and has his men take them away.

"You look awful."

"Yeah thanks Kakashi, I didn't sleep last night." I say as he walks up next to me. "Let me guess, your coming back from a mission?" I ask him and Kakashi nods with a closed eyed smile.

"Is anyone with you?" Kakashi asks and I shake my head.

"No, it was a solo mission, they were just gang members bothering the townsfolk here and Lady Tsunade sent me to take care of the problem." I say to him and Kakashi nods.

We head back to the Leaf Village, in time to see Naruto chasing an ostrich.

"You." Me and the ostrich say looking each other in the eye. 

"Alexis?" Kakashi asks me confused.

"This ostrich has been a pain in my behind since I was a Chunin, every time he got loose, I was sent after him to bring him back. That was a once a week mission too." I say to Kakashi and I capture the ostrich in a sleep Gen-Jutsu so Naruto can take him back.

"Thanks Alexis, but, how am I supposed to take him back?" Naruto asks me.

"Izumo and Kotesu can help you." I say and the two shake their heads. "You two will help Naruto with this ostrich, am I clear?" I ask them and they nod frantically.

"Crystal." They say and help Naruto.

Kakashi chuckles. "Come on, lets report to Lady Tsunade." Kakashi says to me.

I nod and follow him to the Hokage building. We knock.

"Come in."

We walk in and Lady Tsunade smirks. 

"The gang on the border of the Fire Country has been taken care of, the chief sends his thanks." I say to her and Lady Tsunade nods and looks at Kakashi who says he's taken care of his mission.

"You both are dismissed for today." Lady Tsunade says to us.

We nod and leave the room.

We walk down the road toward the apartment building.

"So, what are you gonna do for today? Have any plans?" Kakashi asks me.

"I'm probably just gonna take a nap, other than that, no, I have nothing planned." I say to him.

"Then would you like to get dinner with me and you can update me on my team because I've been out of commission." Kakashi asks me with a closed eyed smile.

"Sure, so long as I'm just catching you up on Team 7." I say to him and Kakashi nods.

"That's all I want to know." Kakashi says to me and we go to our apartments that are surprising close to each other.

I walk in and to my bedroom. I fall on my bed and I slip in and out of consciousness.

"Aww look Logan, she's falling asleep." 

I ignore them and I close my eyes.

Someone shakes me and I open my eyes to see Logan and Hana.

"Can't I ever sleep?" I ask them.

"We want to know something, why did you say yes to going to dinner with Kakashi when you like C?" Logan asks me.

"Because he wants to know what's going on with Team Kakashi, it's his team and Yamato is currently on a mission and he's finally well enough to do missions again and since I'm the only other Jonin on Team Kakashi and probably know what's going on, he asked me." I say to them.

"Oh, well then, if that's all then you can go to sleep now." Hana says to me.

I nod and close my eyes again but Logan shakes me again. I open my eyes to look at him. 

"Can we ransack your fridge?" Logan asks me.

"No, if you want food, go to Barbeque or Ichiraku's even the Dango shop." I say to him and they nod and finally leave.

I fall asleep finally.

I wake up a few hours later and get ready for dinner with Kakashi.

I walk out of my apartment in my normal clothes and Kakashi walks out of his apartment in his normal attire.

We head to Ichiraku's and I inform Kakashi on Team 7 as we eat.

Kakashi nods with a closed eyed smile. "Thank you Alexis, I'm glad to have a great pirate on Team Kakashi." He says to me.

"Kakashi, thank you, I do make a good pirate." I say with a smile and we laugh at the joke.

After a while, I wander around Konoha alone.

I sigh.

Who do I even like? I mean, C is awesome, but do I want to leave the Leaf village in the future just to be with him? Does he even like me? But then there's Kakashi, he's kind of cute, we've done plenty of missions before together, I like his silver hair and out of anyone, I'm able to relate to him most here in the village, he lives here in the village and I wouldn't even have to leave home, but do I like him? Do I like C? Me and Kakashi have more in common than me and C though. I'm not even sure if either of them like me, C has shown signs of liking me, but that's only because of my looks. All Uchiha are good looking, but Kakashi, he knows me, he knows what I'm like and we're friends because we accept each others quirks. Why is this so hard? I don't even know what's in my own heart. Now everything is complicated, so how do I figure it out?

I sigh again and look up at the stars.

I wish Nii-San was here to help me with this.

I feel a light touch on my shoulder and I look back to see a light dust in the form of Itachi.

"Find out what's in your heart sister and follow it, no matter where it takes you." He says and the dust leaves but I can feel his spirit stay.

Thank you Nii-San.

A week or so later a crash happens and I look around to see a giant summon with the Rinnegan.

I activate my Sharigan, but I get hit away and into a rock by the tail of the beast.

I will not let my family down.

I stand up and do some hand signs. "Fire Style: Phoenix Flower Jutsu." I say and blow out phoenix flowers and they do a great damage on the beast and it leaves with a poof.

I run down the streets gathering up all the Genin.

"You guys, evacuate every villager in this town, kids and academy students included, do not leave anyone of them behind, I'll send some ANBU to help you guys." I say to them and they nod and do as I say.

Six ANBU land behind me.

"You six, split up and help each group." I say to them and they nod.

I run down the streets and I see Kakashi and a few others fighting a guy who looks like he uses gravity.

I surprise him by attacking him before he could see me, I punch him and he flies into a rock.

"Alexis!" Choji yells shocked.

I nod in greeting to Choza, Choji and Kakashi.

'White Knight Form, activate.'

My Susanoo surrounds us and blocks the next attack but gets damaged.

"You must be Alexis Uchiha." He says to me.

"Yeah and?" I ask him.

"I hope your a better match than your brother." He says and continues attacking my Susanoo.

'Regenerate'

My Susanoo regenerates and knocks the guy back with a flick of her finger.

"Alexis, this is putting a strain on your eyes, don't over do it." Kakashi says to me, knowing full well what the Sharigan can do.

"It isn't putting a strain on them, because I don't have my Mangekyo activated. I can call on my Susanoo 'The White Knight' on will, I don't need my Mangekyo to do that and I can regenerate her on will as well." I say to Kakashi and his eyes widen slightly. "This is the power of the Female Heiress Uchiha, I'm stronger, faster, and smarter than any other Uchiha, my brothers included. 

I block the next blow with my Susanoo's swords, but they get knocked away.

'Level up.'

I have my Susanoo level up to the armored Susanoo who looks like a white knight.

I stare down at the Akatsuki member who looks up at me shocked.

"We have him from here Alexis, go take care of those summons." Choza says to me.

I nod and my Susanoo takes me to the closest summon and we beat it up so that it poofs. We continue to do that but more pop up.

"Alexis!"

I look down at the Hokage building to see Lady Tsunade. "Lady Tsunade." I say to her.

She smirks. "Good job, now keep at it!" Lady Tsunade orders me.

My Susanoo salutes her because I'm saluting her inside my Susanoo. "Yes Ma'am."

We continue what we were doing before I see a big Jutsu and I grab Lady Tsunade and everyone else and get them out of the way before the village gets crushed and unfortunately for me, my Susanoo got badly damaged. I set them down on the side and I stand in one place gathering chakra.

'Regenerate'

My Susanoo regenerates but takes a minute to do so.

I fight Pain head on with my Susanoo until a poof happens and I see Naruto behind me.

"ALEXIS!" Naruto yells shocked.

"Alexis-girl, your gonna get yourself killed, let us handle the rest." Lady Shima says to me.

"If I die, then I get to join my brother and my family, I'm not afraid to leave, but I still have business here, I'm head and the only member left of the Konoha Police Force, if I die, then I consider service to my village, the one I love with ever fiber of my being." I say to and Naruto looks at my serious face shocked.

Pain smirks. "Well, too bad, I thought it would be possible to get you to join the Akatsuki, but with that minor and stupid speech, I suppose not." Pain says to me and stops my Susanoo's hand, but before he could stop the other one, I punch him across the crater. 

'Level up'

I have my Susanoo level up to the last level, Complete Body Susanoo. It has a helmet made of white fire and a sword made of white clouds.

I get flown back by Pain's gravity stuff and I land in the side of the crater, my Susanoo getting more damaged by the second since he's pressing down on it.

"ALEXIS!" Hana and Logan yell.

I look over to see Logan holding Hana back.

'Regenerate'

My Susanoo regenerates.

I push against the force and I attempt to stand up, but he makes it harder.

I start breathing a bit heavy from the force I'm putting in with my Susanoo.

I stand up and jump up and away from the force, I punch Pain from behind and he flies into the side of the crater.

'Regenerate'

My Susanoo regenerates.

"She's regenerating to fast." Logan says analyzing me.

I will not die, I still have too many things to do.

I continue to fight Pain, me ending with my Susanoo unable to regenerate just yet and shattering and his force crushing me.

I black out.

I end up on a green grassy hill and I see Itachi.

"Ok, how did you die?" Itachi asks me.

"If I some how get brought back, I'm gonna beat up the Akatsuki because their leader just crushed me with gravity." I say and Itachi nods.

"That would be Pain, or Nagato, which ever name you prefer, he has the Rinnegan and can control the six paths." Itachi says to me.

I lay back on the grass and stare at the sky. "Man, what a pain, I die because some guy can't come out and fight me himself and instead uses a dead body to fight me. I don't even want to know what Hana and Logan are going through now that I'm dead, Naruto and Sakura as well." I say and Itachi lays back next to me.

"Mind catching me up on the latest book you read?" Itachi asks me.

"I haven't read a new book in years, I've read every good book in Konoha." I say to him and Itachi looks at me shocked.

"Your a bookworm though." Itachi says to me.

"I've been so busy with missions that I haven't had time to read. I get sent on a mission, get home, eat, nap, then leave again. Ever since Logan started taking a break from Shinobi duties, my work got harder since I was doing missions alone." I say to Itachi and he frowns.

"Did you like anyone?" Itachi asks.

"I don't know, there was C from the Cloud Village, and then there's Kakashi, I'm not even sure what my heart wants. Kakashi took me out to dinner the other night, but that was so I could catch him up on what was happening in Team 7, then C, when I took that vacation with the other two man cells, he showed signs of crushing, but I'm pretty sure that was my Uchiha beauty, we don't even know each other that well." I say to him and Itachi nods.

"List what you like about them, then you'll know who it is you like." Itachi says to me.

"Well with C, he has this adorable funny side, but then he turns into a worry wart, he blonde hair and the way he's competitive. Then Kakashi, we have more in common than we do with anyone else, we're book worms, I like his silver gravity defying hair, the way he smiles, his personality, I like how he tries his hardest if someone tries attacking his comrades, I like the way he's protective and caring and his loyalty, his dedication to the village and to Team 7, his onyx eyes and the way they gleam when he jokes or when he's enjoying something, his laugh and how he brings up the smallest things that are funny on past missions, and how he's the only other person besides Hana and Logan to make me laugh in the Leaf Village." I say and Itachi smiles at me.

"Seems you like Kakashi." Itachi says to me.

I smile lightly and close my eyes. "Nii-San, I'm just gonna take a nap, I haven't been able to sleep the past few days." I say to him.

"Alright." Itachi says to me.

I fall asleep, finally at peace with the universe.
