Alexis's POV

The Next Morning.

I walk down the streets alone as I think. An image of C appears in my face and a light pink blush dusts my cheeks but fades after I convince myself on another subject. I don't even realize people are following me and talking about me.

I sigh. "I don't wanna face Lady Tsunade's wrath." I say and I hear Logan and Hana laugh behind me. I look at them confused. "When did you guys get there?" I ask.

"We've been here since you passed the Inuzuka Compound in a daze, we were thinking you had got a boyfriend but it turns out just the opposite." Hana says to me with a smirk. "Oh and by the way it didn't go unnoticed that a light blush appeared on your cheeks, who were you thinking about?" Hana leans in as she whispers to me.

I control my face to keep it straight. "No one." I lie badly and Hana smirks and pulls Logan away whispering something. "I don't like this." I say and walk up the Hokage building steps. I knock on Lady Tsunade's office a minute later.

"Come in." She says half asleep.

I walk in and Lady Tsunade's gaze snaps to attention as she see's me.

"Ah, good, your here." Lady Tsunade says with a smirk.

I really don't like this one bit.

"I have a mission for you and you alone. Since you are the only one who could possibly do this." Lady Tsunade says to me as her smirk widens.

She's so scary, I don't like this side of her, I feel like a kid again after Logan pranked her and tried blaming it on me.

"Yes Ma'am?" I ask her.

"You are to head to the Hidden Cloud for one week as protection for Lord Raikage and his brother Killer B." Lady Tsunade says to me and her smirk widens as all the color drains from my face.

"O-Ok, let me get this straight, you want me to go to the Hidden Cloud, for one week as only protection for Lord Killer B and Lord Raikage? Is that all?" I ask her.

"I mean if a certain blonde there catches your eye you could stay longer as both protection and whatever else." Tsunade says to me.

A blush covers my face. "Lady Tsunade, please no." I say to her and Lady Tsunade laughs.

"Lord Raikage is expecting you in the next 5 days." Lady Tsunade says to me with a evil smirk on her lips. "Now shoo." Lady Tsunade says waving her hand in dismissal.

I walk out of her office as I pull on a straight face. "She's so cruel." I mutter and dash down the steps in a blur of dark blue colors.

I run to my apartment to see Hana and Logan outside of it waiting.

"So, who is this C?" Hana asks me with a smirk.

I walk past her as my face struggles to stay calm.

"She's flustered, I guess the kid does like him." Logan says with a smirk as they follow me inside my apartment.

"First you two then Lady Tsunade? Is it that bad that I might like someone?" I ask as I walk to my room.

"Its not bad at all, its actually really good." Hana says to me with a smile. "Since your twin left its like you lost all your love and we thought you'd never find someone you like like. You locked your heart away Alexis, that's why me and Logan are trying to get you a boyfriend, you can't stay single forever you know." Hana says to me with a light frown on her face.

"I didn't lose my love, it was just hard to show and hard to give." I say to them as I seal some stuff I'm gonna need into a scroll. "And before the massacre Sensei had died, that was hard on all three of us, but we had each other and when Nii-San left, I couldn't relate to anyone about that because no one knew what it was like to have their brother ordered to kill their clan and told to leave for good and then Sasuke started hating the both of us, that's what got me because I had no family, no clan and no place that felt right." I say to them and I walk into my bathroom to seal a few more things and when I walk out I see Hana and Logan looking at me with a almost sad look in their eyes.

"And?" Hana asks me.

"And now my twin is on a time limit before Sasuke fights and kills him, then the only person who shares the same pain as me will be gone and I won't see him till I cross to the other side at the end of my life." I say to her and I tie my hair up, purposely leaving my bangs down. "Now if you guys will excuse me, I have a mission to go to." I say to them as I control my emotions and Hana just hugs me.

"Are you going by yourself?" Hana asks me.

"Yeah, Lady Tsunade said that I was the only one who could do it and I'm assuming its because of my Mangekyo." I say to her and Hana hugs me tighter.

"I feel a lot better when Logan goes with you on missions so that you have someone who looks out for you, but since he's taking a break, I want you to be extra careful." Hana says to me quietly.

"I'll be ok, I'm a member of Team James, the strongest team in all of Konoha and I have one of the strongest Do-Jutsu in all of Konoha, so I'll be fine, besides its only a protection mission inside the Cloud Village for the Raikage and his brother Killer Bee, I'm doing anything crazy, then again Lady Tsunade is trying to get rid of me, I can feel it." I say and Hana and Logan laugh.

"She trying to get you with C or maybe Darui?" Logan asks.

"She said a certain blonde, Darui is not blonde he's silver and really freaking tall, C is blonde and tall." I say to him and Logan smirks.

"So you just got protective, anything you want to say about that?" Hana asks with a smirk.

I grab my scrolls and I put them in my pouch and I walk to the door. "Goodbye lovebirds." I say with a smirk and they both turn fifty shades of red as I close the door.

"THAT'S NOT FAIR!" They yell.

"All's fair in love and war." I say with a smile and I bolt to the gate before they have a chance to get out of my apartment. I wave to Izumo and Kotesu and they nod back.

"Mission?" Izumo asks and I jog in place.

"Yeah, Lady Tsunade is trying to get rid of me." I say to him and the both of them laugh.

"You know, you are a young woman who hasn't been on a date once right?" Kotesu asks.

"Goodbye." I say and run down the path, trying to avoid that question and succeeding.

I make it to the Cloud in two days by just running and only running with two breaks for water and food.

I stand at the gate breathing heavy. "I hate everyone stinking person in the Leaf, its like they're purposely targeting me for not going on dates and for not having a single boyfriend and not having kissed a guy in my life." I mutter and I hear a laugh. I look up to see Darui and C standing guard at the gates. "Hello C, Darui." I say to them in greeting.

"Hello Alexis." C says to me and Darui nods in greeting.

"Lord Raikage told us you'd be coming sometime in the next few days and assigned us to the gates to show you to his office." Darui says to me.

I stand up straight. "I'm pretty sure Lady Tsunade is trying to get rid of me." I say and they both laugh.

We walk through the village and when some people see the Uchiha crest on my shoulder they start murmuring about me.

"What's with all the murmuring about you?" C asks me.

"My clan is cursed with a Do-Jutsu that could kill its user once they lose sight after using the Mangekyo for too long with out getting the users eyes healed. My clan was massacred years ago and everyone thought that only my twin and younger brother survived but then a lot of people saw my name still in the bingo book of Konoha Shinobi, some people call me a myth." I say and C nods and looks at the women who were talking about me and they instantly shut up.

"And your used to them whispering and talking about you?" Darui asks with a small bit of shock in his voice.

I nod. "I don't really care all that much, they can whisper, I already know what they say since I've heard it a thousand times." I say to him with a smile.

I look at C to see him blushing slightly and Darui smirking at him.

I mentally raise an eyebrow.

We get to the Raikage's office and we walk in.

"Ahh the Infamous Alexis, the only Female Uchiha to walk the Shinobi world." Lord Raikage says and my eye twitches slightly as Killer B raps. "Princess Tsunade wasn't kidding when she said you got more beautiful since last I saw, that was about 3 years ago when we set the two man squads up." Lord Raikage says and looks behind me but doesn't see who he's looking for. "Where's your partner?" Lord Raikage asks me.

"He's taking a break from Shinobi duties to settle down with someone, the last member of Team James, Hana Inuzuka." I say to him and C and Darui look at me confused.

"Team James?" C asks.

"Mine, Logan and Hana's teacher, James Nara, he died on a Intel Mission as a decoy, almost right after we became Team James with him as our captain." I explain and C and Darui nod while Lord Raikage looks at me.

"Two members of one of the two strongest teams in Konoha are dating then, and what about you?" Lord Raikage asks me.

I see C look at me. "I'm single, and everyone I know has tried getting me a boyfriend." I say to Lord Raikage and he laughs while I see something flash through C's eyes.

Men.

Lord Raikage's assistant who seems to know what I mentally said just nods in agreement.

"Are you two having a silent communication thing?" Darui asks me.

I smirk. "Only women can silently communicate, men are too dense and too loud." I say and Lord Raikage growls and that only proves my point but me and Mabui laugh lightly at my words which makes all the guys quiet down so they can listen.

They stare at us as we laugh lightly.

"I've never heard either of them laugh before." Darui says shocked and C nods with a small blush as he looks at me in particular.

"Lord Raikage you only proved my point when you growled." I say to him with a smile and he just huffs.

"Alright Darui, C, you guys are dismissed." Lord Raikage says to them and they nod and leave. "Alexis I assume you know why your here."

I nod. "Lady Tsunade's had already informed me that I would be extra protection for you and Lord Killer B." I say to him.

Lord Raikage nods and smashes through the wall to a meeting room next door.

My jaw gapes slightly while Mabui just sighs exasperated.

"Lord Raikage, next time use the the door." Mabui says walking after him.

"Please don't tell me this is normal." I ask one of the guards at the door and they nod meaning that it is normal.

I sigh and walk after them.

The next day

I wake up to someone crashing in my temporary room. I sit up straight already on guard.

"Good reflexes." Lord Raikage says to me.

"There's a door for a reason Lord Raikage, and if you keep smashing walls your gonna demolish this building." I say to him as I calm down.

Lord Raikage just huffs and smashes another wall to get out. "Meet at the training grounds, I'm having you help train some Genin." Lord Raikage says to me.

"Yes Sir." I say and look out the window to see its about 5 am. I groan and flop face first back onto my pillow.

I hear someone yawn as they open my door. "Lady Alexis did Lord Raikage come in here?" Mabui asks me.

I point to the two holes in my wal. "Its five am, for the Kami why is anyone awake this early?" I ask and Mabui dozes off on my couch.

I fall back asleep.
