3rd Person's POV

"Warning, Flame Fox's power is directly proportional to the tails it has, max number of tail is 10, the monster's power depends on the tails it possess." Gaia notified, Hiromi stared at the giant fox who was also glaring back at her with those intimidating radiant eyes.

The Flame Fox roared loudly that it caused small tremor throughout the field, giving slight shocks towards the other adventurers.

"H-Hey Hiromi, isn't this bad?" Mina trembled in fear as she stared sharply at the monster.

"Do not falter, I'll instruct you using Communication Telepathy." Hiromi signalled, Mina nodded in response and proceeded to join with the other mages.

"I'll be joining in this battle too!" Prince Darwin yelled as he went towards the front line.

The others nodded and it's time to face the Nine Tailed Flame Fox.

Flame Foxes are known for there high agility abilities despite their size, the more the tails it has, the more the power is accumulated, the level itself shouldn't be worried about,it's the tails, nine tailed Flame Foxes can match up to Level 110 monsters. even if it is just Level 85. But Flame Foxes also has weakness, it has great power but low in defense, that means it can be injures easily if it was hit.

"Notice, it will cast it's Blue Firebolt." Gaia notified again.

But good thing the mages is quick to react and also fired their countermeasures against it.

"Water Flare!"

"Liquid Faction!"

"Torrent!"

Various water type attacks have been fired towards the attack, collision of attacks have made a dust cloud upon impact.

But everything was blown off as the Nine Tailed Flame Fox suddenly charged with great speed towards them, but thankfully, it was being repelled by the attackers.

"Burning Slash!"

"Hellish Snipe!"

"Earth's Madness!"

The attacker types repelled the incoming monster resulting for another collision, but due to it's great speed, it managed to somehow dealt with it and pushed through them, fending all of them off.

"Protective Barrier!"

"Dryad's Blessing!"

"Ironwill!"

The tanks and mages took the initiative to defend themselves from the incoming attack, the monster barely made a crack from the barrier and was pushed back because of the pressure.

"Everyone! Healers, please heal the fighters." Darwin shouted as he tend off the injured ones and kept the healers busy.

The battle went on with the tankers, mages and the remaining warriors and fighters tending off the Nine Tailed Flame Fox, the battle went on but it doesn't seem that the fox have been taking damage for some reason.

Hiromi took the initiative to appraise it's stat.

"Appraisal."

"That thing's stubborn and nimble, also, it's close to being an S class monster." Hiromi thought as she spectated the monster.

Hiromi then moved her feet as she understood how the monster's attacks works.

"Mina, you should be able to cast speed buffs this time, right?" Hiromi asked.

"Y-Yes, I can."

"Good, cast speed buffs for you, well charge in." Hiromi concluded.

"Wh-What?! I can't do---"

"Quick, we don't have time." Hiromi interrupted.

"Okay fine! Sonic's Transcend, Hermes' Gift!!" Mina chanted.

Several magic circle buffs have engulfed Mina and is now ready to keep with Hiromi's pace.

"Well then, let's go! Godspeed!"

After the chant, the two darted off towards the monster with determined looks.

"H-Hey, what are those two doing?!" One of the adventurers called out.

"Th-They're fast!"

"Mina, avoid getting hit while you cast your spells, be my back up." Hiromi stated.

"Right behind with you!"

The Flame Fox roared and then charged with insanely great speed than what it did before, but thankfully, because of Mina's buff casted before, she was able to barely dodge the incoming attacks despite being a mage of her own.

Hiromi and Mina still dodged the incoming attacks and waited for it to wore off.

Once the Flame Fox halted, the Flame Fox attempted to use Blue Firebolt again but this time, Mina was quick to react and casted a skill in order to cancel it.

"Light Chains!" Mina called out.

Out of the blue, white blinding chains appeared beneath the monster and managed to grasp the legs of it, keeping it from moving.

The Flame Fox roared in anger and attempted to use a Flame Burst when another chain had wrapped itself around the fox's mouth.

"Now, Hiromi!" Mina shouted.

"Good job Mina, now to finish this..."

"Fourth Form : Seven Strike Sword Slash..."

Hiromi, together with Godspeed, darted towards the bound Flame Fox in a ridiculously insane speed that can't even be seen by naked eye.

Hiromi first slashed the legs with great force despite being just a katana, then the body, and lastly...

"...Skill."

Hiromi is now airborn, and now, for the seventh strike, she dived towards the head of the monster with her katana on front, struck the head of the monster, and just went past behind it.

The monster roared in pain before disappearing like dust, leaving off it's monster core.

Hiromi sighed and then picked up the monster core, with Mina cheering behind her.

"W-Wow, did you saw that?" Murmurs started from the other adventurers.

"She's strong, despite being a girl."

"Those two are on the same guild, right?"

"The two of them handled the monster all by themselves!"

With that, the other adventurers ran towards them and acknowledged the display of their power.

Indeed,it wasn't easy for them to face of a monster higher than their current level, in fact, it'll already be called a raid when a monster appeared out of nowhere with higher levels and stats than the adventurers.

"All of us thank you two for defeating such monstrosity, we couldn't even handled it by ourselves." It was Prince Darwin who spoke up.

"Yeah, the display of power is great." A mage looking adventurer stepped up.

"Greetings, my name is Tiana, and I especially acknowledge you since you also use Light Magic, seeing that you just casted a high tier magic spell." Tiana said as she looked at Mina with stars in her eyes.

Mina sweatdropped at that.

"F-Forgive Tiana's rudeness, she can be excited sometimes if she sees another light magic caster aside from her." A warrior type girl bowed on Tiana's behalf.

"My name is Lia and I hope we can be friends." Lia said as she shook Hiromi and Mina's hands.

"These here are Ivy, Tessie and Frey, our Archer, Tank and Warrior guildmates respectively.

It took quite some time as they all got to know from each other, they settled for the time being before heading out towards Asteria Kingdom.
