Chapter 2
3rd Person's POV
After returning to the city, Hiromi and Mina walked their way towards the Adventure Tavern to sell off their looted monster cores. On the separate counter, they placed their monster cores, waiting for the confirmation of the merchant.
"Dire Wolf cores, oh and a Nightmare Dire Wolf core, some Horned Rabbit and Mutant Horned Rabbit cores, oh and what's this? A Giant Fire Salamander core?Pretty impressive for girls like you to kill one." The merchant named Gruza commended, he's a Drawf race merchant.
"I can pay you three gold coins for these, would that be okay for you two?" Merchant Gruza stated.
"Three gold coins? We'll accept it happily Merchant Gruza!" Mina happily squealed. Merchant Gruza nodded and then handed them generous three gold coins, Mina happily accepted it and then bid goodbye before going out from the tavern.
"Hey Hiromi, I have a lot to ask you now." Mina suddenly said.
"Then why don't we have a walk." Hiromi offered, to which Mina nodded in response.
With that, they went down the city from the Ancestral Tree and walked towards the city streets.
"First of all, how in the world are you also skilled in swordsmanship?" She asked in curiosity.
"My father taught me swordsmanship when I was little, then my mother taught me magic." Hiromi replied.
"Your parents must be really skilled adventurers during their time." She stated.
"They were, I take pride in handling the teachings that were passed onto me." Hiromi said as she reminisced the time she was still training with her father Shiro and mother Yumi.
"Next question, how are you able to handle that Level 60 Giant Fire Salamander, I mean, I'm just really curious since you're still currently Level 28." She curiously asked again.
"Back at my hometown, me and my father would often hunt for monsters on the forest, I can sometimes see some Level 70 monsters but my father would take care of them, just like you before, I'm the one who'll support him with supporting magics." Hiromi explained to her.
"L-Level 70... I won't be surprised anymore if you can cast higher grade support magics..." She murmured.
"Oh yeah, since we came down to this point, Mina, do you want to form a guild with me?" Hiromi invited.
"Y-You? Forming a guild? We can't do that unless we know the spell Guild Pact." Mina quickly said.
"Guild Pact."
With that incantation, a unique magic circle appeared below Hiromi and another small magic circle appeared in front of Mina.
"N-N-No way!" Mina said as she took a step back.
"Who are you?! Bring the old Hiromi back!" Mina said as she held her hands up in defense.
"Calm down, it's just me, I've already met the requirements needed in order to build a guild." Hiromi explained.
"Re-Requirements? D-Don't tell me-"
Hiromi quickly grabbed Mina's palm and placed it on the small magic circle, with that, she's officially on Hiromi's guild.
"There, now that you're on my guild, let me show you my real stats." Hiromi checked the surroundings first, noticing that no one is arround, and with confirmation from Gaia, she glowed just faintly.
"Now, appraise me." Hiromi said.
"Appraise you... Appraisal."
And what she saw made her eyes widen.
Name : Hiromi

Title : Blessed by Goddess of Light, Blessed by Goddess of Fortune, Blessed by Goddess of Magic, Elemental Prodigy, Bronze Ranked Adventurer, Genius, Expertee, Gaia's Partner, Grand Adventurer, ???
She fainted on the spot as she finished appraising.
"Wha-, oops." Hiromi quickly caught Mira, she sighed and smiled so she returned back her fake stats and looked for an inn to stay in.
...
"Wh-Where am I..." Mina said as she slowly got up, she looked around and saw Hiromi cooking something, she looked around and noticed that she's in an inn.
"Oh, you're now awake Mina, sorry for scaring you off like that." Hiromi called out as she continued on cooking.
"Scaring me off? What do you me-"
And then she remembered what she saw before.
"AAAAAHHHHH!" Mina squealed in mix feelings as she pointed her finger towards Hiromi.
"Y-Y-Y-Y-You..." Mina stuttered in mixed fear and excitement, Hiromi calmly walked towards her with a tray of food.
"Let's eat while we talk." Hiromi said as she placed the bowl on her tray.
"First off, I'm sorry for forcing you to join my guild without confirmation from the invitee." Hiromi said as she bowed her head in apology.
"No no no please don't bow your head, I'm actually grateful that you've let me joined your guild." Mina quickly defended.
"But...was the appraisal true?" Mina questioned
"Do you want to recheck?" Hiromi smirked.
"Uh, actually, no, thank you..." Mina trailed off.
"W-Wolf Tribe?" Mina asked.
"Yes, I've evolved few years ago, as you can see from my title, Goddess of Fortune did the thing to me which I don't know why." I explained to her.
"Wow...to be blessed by three gods, what do you feel?"
"I don't know, it only just felt like I've been living a normal life."
Mina pondered at that and nervously glared Hiromi.
"Wh-What's that look for?" Hiromi nervously asked.
"Nothing. I just can't believe at the fact that I was recruited by a really high levelled adventurer, so, where are the other guildmates?" Mina asked.
"Actually...you're the first ever person I recruited..." Hiromi replied.
There was a brief defeaning silence after that.
"WHAT?! S-So you're saying is..."
"Yeah, it's still the two of us right now on this guild." Hiromi concluded.
Mina facepalmed, she looked at Hiromi with disbelief.
"Alright girl, you may be high leveled but you need some guidance, where did you even lived that you don't even have members?" She asked.
"Treeshroud Forest." Hiromi replied bluntly.
Mina's eyes widened in shock.
"T-T-Treeshroud Forest?! There's supposed to be Level 90 monsters there!" Mina exclaimed.
"Yeah, that's what I mentioned about earlier, me and my father fendinng off monsters." Hiromi stated.
"Wait, while were at this, I heard that there's these two legendary adventurers living in Treeshroud Forest, have you heard about it?" Mina questioned.
Hiromi pondered a little bit, recalling events of meeting some strange adventurers on the forest.
"Adventurers? I don't recall seeing one during my stay there, I'm sorry." Hiromi apologized.
"No no no, don't be, it's fine, that tale's still on fire though, there are some other high leveled adventurers here hunting those two down in order to meet them." Mina stated.
"Is that so, they must be having a hard time." Hiromi chuckled.
Both laughed with their hearts out and continued on their meal before going to bed, there will be a long day tomorrow again.
...
Great Hall is a place for things like guild invitations, battle planning, information exchange and the like, many adventurers also come here mostly to look for suitable members for their guild.
That is where Hiromi and Mina is headed as another day have passed, they entered the Great Hall and they were met by the hall's defeaning noise. There are too many people in the building that made Mina think that it is unusual than before.
"The crowd's thicker than usual." Mina said.
"What does that mean?" Hiromi asked, not knowing anything.
"Usually, if things like these happens, a newly discovered dungeon is found somewhere faraway and needs to be explored." Mina explained.
Hiromi just kept quiet and they fell into the crowd.
There they saw guard adventurers in formal attires, a knight armor, with an emblem that resembles that of a dragon-like shape, in the middle is someone that looks like a prince of some kingdom.
"Ladies and gentlemen, I am pleased that there are people gathered here waiting for my announcement, I thank you for that, my name is Prince Darwin and I'm holding an invitation by the current queen of the Kingdom of Asteria, Queen Yuna, for a joint subjugation of an SSS+ monster named the Black Gladiator Dragon."
Murmurs can be heard throughout the crowd as they heard the Prince's announcement.
Hiromi's POV
I've heard about Black Gladiator Dragon, my father told me that it's the one with spiky scales all around it's body, it's head is similar that of the metal called Hygrinate, a metal similar to Orichalcum, one of the strongest metals ever existed.
It is indeed an SSS+ monster, it's monster core is so expensive that it could be sold by 1,000,000 royal coin, 1 royal coin is equivalent to 100 gold coins.
I continued on listening to what that prince is talking about.
"Furthermore, by suggestion, I'm only allowed to pick up adventurers that exceeds Level 80, that is for the safety of the adventures as they try to slay the dragon without enough experience, I deeply apologize. If there's anyone here that exceeds Level 80, please step up." Prince Darwin stated.
"If I may add, those that have guilds that are members are below Level 80, you all may still come, you just have to follow the instructions given by your guildmaster."
By that cue, I saw some strong looking adventures stepping up on the stage, I can see warrior class, archery class, and mage class adventurers judging by their looks. They are in a form of parties, separately going up to stage.
"Hey Hiromi, aren't you going?" Mina asked curiously.
I don't really know, I'm not interested in slaying Black Gladiator Dragon, my mother once told me that those dragons are supposed to be mythical, so I don't know if they really found somewhere.
"Do you want to go?" I asked her.
"Eh? Why are you asking me, you're the one's supposed to be asked by that since it's a quest that you're suitable with." Mina replied back.
"But I don't have the mood to join the subjugation." I replied as I scratched my head and gave her a nervous laugh.
"Then maybe we'll just pass and let's head out to the city, there are many places I still wanted to visit though." Mina said and grinned.
We were about to head out but the Prince said something that stopped our tracks.
"Please, if there's still someone who's level exceeds Level 80, please step up, we need your help, Kingdom of Asteria is in grave danger because we were currently being attacked by one and our adventurers there couldn't handle the power the dragon is holding. We will reward you handsomely if you are able to slay it." Prince Darwin stated as he bowed his head, gaining gasp from the audience.
"Hiromi, did you feel that we are held accountable?" Mina asked.
"Y-Yeah, Princes shouldn't bow like that." I stated.
We stopped on our tracks and looked at the prince, I sighed and told Mina to follow my lead, before heading onto the stage.
I secretly appraised Prince Darwin.
"True Insight."
True Insight is an absolute appraisal skill, not the highest graded appraisal skill but is accurate compared to normal appraisal skill.
Name : Darwin
Level : 102
Race : Human
Class : Prince Knight/Warrior
Element : Fire Magic, Earth Magic, Body Enhancement Magic, Weapon Enhancement, Light Magic
Title : Prince of Kingdom of Asteria, Queen Yuna's Subordinate, The Strong One, Absolute Power, Blessed by God of War
As I looked at the appraise, I can't help but look that he's blessed by the War God, that is a rather nice title.
I assume that he can appraise me to so I adjusted my Level enough to reach 80, but hid still hid those titles in order to not gain unwanted attention.
"Are these all the adventurers? Very well then, we'll have a brief meeting before we head out to the Kingdom of Asteria." Prince Darwin said.
With that, the crowd dispersed and went back to their daily routine.
To be continued...
