Worry make you walk faster. We make it in four days to Rivendell. Sam, Pippin and Merry are worried sick for Frodo and to be honest. I am too. I am still praying to the Valar that he may live. And that the wound he has from the Morgul Blade heals. When we arrive by the gate of Rivendell, the first I see is my adoption father. 'Ada!' I yell and run to him. I throw my arm around him and he laughs. 'iell nín' (my daughter) He says. I let him go and he looks at me. His face is a façade. He know what happened to me. I shiver. 'You room is the same when you left. Go now. The hobbit is alright. And so are you' My ada whispers. I nod and walk to my room. Leaving my small party behind, knowing there cared for.

My room is indeed still the same. I throw out my dirty leather boots and my ranger clothing and throw everything on the ground. A bad is running and I slip in. the warm water relaxes my tired body. When the water is cooled down I step out of the tub. My clothing and boots are gone. They have given me a simple blue elven dress. I put It on and let my hair dry. My dark brown hair comes to my hip bone. Just like al elf-maidens. And I am one of them. Sort of. I crawl in bed under my blankets and I fall asleep.

'Elarinya?' A knock on my door wakes me up. 'Do you have time to talk?' I slip out bed and open the door for him. His strong arms embrace me and for a while we stand like this in the middle of my room. 'Frodo is awake and well' Tells Aragorn me when he releases me. He guides me to the bed and we sit down. He takes my hand in his. 'Can you tell it now? Tell me what happened to you!' He pleases me. I sigh. I don't want to cry. 'Okay, I tell it this time. This time only' He nods and looks at me. Waiting for me to tell my story.

'So I was looking for you. And I heard you were seen in the wilds close by Sarumans tower. But know I now it was a false story. A trap to catch me. As soon I saw the tower the captured me and brought me to the white wizard. At first he was kind and asked me about the heir of Isildur' I feel Aragorn froze and his eyes become hard. 'I said that there was no heir of Isildur. That the last heir was killed a long time ago. But he didn't believe me. He said that I knew the truth. So he order to beat me with a whip. And they did. The give me a beating with a whip. Many times. I fainted. I couldn't stand the pain. When I woke up they did it again. But I told him nothing. When I was almost half dead he marked me and throw me out of the tower. I crawled into the forest so I could die. But when the night fell I was sore and the blood dried up. That was when my hope returned. The next days following I let myself heal and when I was sure to make the journey to Bree I went. I stole clothing that lay somewhere outside a shop and then I after a three days walk I arrived in Bree. When I was on the road I heard that Gandalf was going to be there. So I thought if I could tell him about Saruman, Gandalf could bring me home. But I found you instead'

Aragorn looks at me with a eyes full of pain. 'Amin hiraetha Meleth nín' (I'm Sorry My love) I feel I begin to blush. But Aragorn doesn't seem to notice. 'I shall protect you from now one he says' Then he stands up and walks out of my room. Leaving me confused.

I make the decision to follow him. I just, I just have to. He walks to the hall were the shattered sword Narsil lies. Aragorn sits down on a stone bench. Next to him lies a book. He starts reading it and I hide behind a pillar. A man with blond hair with the symbol of Gondor on his tunic comes in. I see that Aragorn is watching him from the shadows. The man strolls through the darkened gallery. His eyes are drawn to an old fresco on the wall, depicting Isildur defeating Sauron. The man turns suddenly and notice Aragorn, he looks at him.

'You are no Elf' the man says.

'Men of the South are welcome here' Answers Aragorn.

'Who are you?' Asks the man on a demanding tone. Should I come forward?

'I am a friend to Gandalf the Grey' says Aragorn calm. The man nods, understanding Aragorn's vagueness. 'Then we are here on common purpose, friend' The man says.

The man smiles uncomfortably at Aragorn. And Aragorn only looks at him

silently. Wait a minute. Which common purpose? What did I miss and why told anyone me?

The man looks with wonderment at Narsil, the broken blade of Elendil, which lies on a cloth-covered plinth. 'The shards of Narsil ... the blade that cut the Ring from Sauron's hand' says the man in awe. He picks up the sword and gently touches the blade. I can see blood appear on his finger when he cuts it. 'Still sharp' he breathes. He slowly looks over to Aragorn, as if sensing a connection. 'But no more than a broken heirloom' He raises his voice. He replaces the blade, but it clatters to the floor. He walks away, leaving Aragorn sitting alone. He picks up the broken hilt, as Arwen appears behind him. 'Why do you fear the past? You are Isildur's heir, not Isildur himself. You are not bound to his fate' She says to him. Aragorn doesn't look at her. 'The same blood flows in my veins. the same weakness' What! You weak? Are you kidding me. You are the most badass man I ever met. And I have met a lot of man, who mostly wanted to kill me. But you are the most bravest! 'Your time will come. You will face the same evil. And you will defeat it' Arwen says to him and he looks at her. I can see his love for her. And it stings. It hurts at a sudden. To see them together. I turn around, ready to walk away. 'A si i-Dhúath ú-orthor, Aragorn.Ú or le a ú or nin'(The shadow does not hold sway yet. Not over you and not over me) Arwen says in whisper. I can not suppress a sob and run away. 'Elarinya? 'Dartho!' (wait) I hear Aragorn say. But I run. Memories come in my mind. About the endless times he saved me from men, bullies, orcs. I all the stupid things I throw myself into. He rescues me. And I save him. But he loves her. My best friend and sister. He chose her. I run, I just run. I stop when I see the door to my chamber and go inside. I slam the door behind me and fall on the bed. Go to sleep! Then I feel nothing. No memories from the tower. No memories of him.

I wake up when my door opens. Ada. 'Hennig' (Child) 'You are also invited for the council' What? 'Which council Ada?'

'The one that will shall decide the future of Middle Earth!' Oh. That one. 'Fresh up, I wait outside the door' And he is gone. I slip from the bed and walk to the large mirror in my room. I smooth my dress, brush my hair again and then walk out the door. Ada offers his arm and I accept. He leads me to a secret chamber outside. I see different men, dwarves and elves. They look at me like I don't belong here. And I have a feeling that there right. When I see Aragorn his eyes light up. I turn away from him. ashamed for my behavior. Ada sits next to me, with one his right side Frodo and Gandalf. I smile at Frodo, who looks nervous. He gives me that cute smile that shows his dimples. But worry and fear shine also from his face. I pity him. Ada told me when we were walking that Frodo is bound to the one ring now. And the ring has to be destroyed.

'Strangers from distant lands ...friends of old.

You have been summoned here to answer the threat of Mordor.

Middle-Earth stands upon the brink of destruction.

None can escape it.

You will unite ... or you will fall.

Each race is bound to this fate ... this one

doom.' Ada Says while standing before the council of free peoples of middle earth. Or he calls it. 'Bring forth the Ring, Frodo' Ada asks. Frodo steps forward and moves towards a stone plinth. He places the ring on the plinth and returns to his seat. 'So it is true!' says the blond man I saw earlier in the gallery shocked.

'Sauron's Ring! The Ring of Power!' Legolas, a good friend of mine and Aragorn says a bit with disbelief. 'The doom of man!' Grimes Gimli, the son of Gloin. At a sudden my head hurts again and I feel dizzy. More men seem to have a trouble with their head. The blond man stands and begins to approach the ring, as if drawn to it. ofcourse it is the ring what affects you. Dumbass. 'In a dream, I saw the eastern sky grow dark, but in the West a pale light lingered. A voice was crying: "Your doom is near at hand. Isildur's Bane is found." The man says like he has a vision. The man reaches for the ring. 'Isildur's Bane' he whispers.

'Boromir!' Ada yells. Oh so that is his name. Gandalf stands and starts speaking a ancient tongue. Or so sounds it like. Boromir staggers back to his chair, the sky darkens, thunder rolls , the ground trembles. And my headache seems to disappear.

'Ash nazg durbatulûk, ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûk agh burzum-ishi krimpatul.'

(One Ring to rule them all, One Ring to find them, One Ring to bring them all and in the Darkness bind them) the nature returns to normal. Ada looks to Gandalf. 'Never before has any voice uttered the words of that tongue here in Imladris' says Ada sternly.

'I do not ask your pardon, Master Elrond, for the Black Speech of Mordor may yet be heard in every corner of the West! The Ring is altogether evil!' Says Gandalf and returns to his seat.

Boromir shakes his head. He stands again to make his case to the council. I can see, he is a trouble maker and so stiff as a donkey. 'It is a gift, a gift to the foes of Mordor! Why not use this Ring? Long has my father, the Steward of Gondor, kept the forces of Mordor at bay. By the blood of our people are your lands kept safe. Give Gondor the weapon of the enemy. Let us use it against him!' Boromir addresses the council. No! You fool. Don't you see that is what the ring want you to say! 'You cannot wield it. None of us can. The One Ring answers to Sauron alone. It has no other master' Aragorn speaks up. Boromir turns and looks coolly at Aragorn. 'And what would a Ranger know of this matter?' says Boromir shrinking. Aragorn says nothing and Boromir turns away dismissively. Legolas stands up from his seat. 'This is no mere Ranger. He is Aragorn, son of Arathorn. You owe him your allegiance!' Legolas says a bit angry at Boromir. I smile. The whole council looks with disbelief at Aragorn now.

'Aragorn? This is Isildur's heir?' Says Boromir with a sound of disgust in his voice. Please can I hit him! 'And heir to the throne of Gondor' Legolas finished. 'Havo dad, Legolas' Aragorn says. (Sit down, Legolas) 'Gondor has no king' Mumbles Boromir.

'Aragorn is right. We cannot use it' Says Gandalf. 'You have only one choice ... the Ring

must be destroyed!' Ada says. Gimli suddenly stands. 'Then ... what are we waiting for?' He says excited. He suddenly rushes forward! He swings his axe down on the one ring. The axe shatters with a deafening crack! Gimli falls backwards staring in disbelief at the ring, which is unharmed! 'The Ring cannot be destroyed, Gimli, son of Glóin, by any craft that we here

possess. The Ring was made in the fires of Mount Doom ... only there can it be unmade' Of course it had to be this difficult. 'It must be taken deep into Mordor, and cast back into the fiery chasm from whence it came. One of you must do this' Ada continues.

Silence. What a brave men. Seriously applause. I can do it. 'One does not simply walk into Mordor. Its Black Gates are guarded by more than just Orcs. There is evil there that does not sleep and the Great Eye is ever watchful. It is a barren wasteland riddled with fire, and ash and dust ... the very air you breathe is a poisonous fume. Not with ten thousand Men could you do this. It is folly' Boromir says to the council. I see some men nod with their head. Fools!

'Have you heard nothing Lord Elrond has said? The Ring must be destroyed!' He yells. 'And I suppose you think you're the one to do it?' Gimli says to him. Best friends these two. Wow.

'And what if we fail, what then? What happens when Sauron takes back what is his?' Boromir says a bit panicking. Gimli leaps to his feet! 'I will be dead before I see the Ring in

the hands of an Elf!' He screams. A storm of argument erupts around the room. Great, just great. It is just the future of whole Middle earth we are talking about. Do you not understand? While we bicker amongst ourselves, Sauron's power grows! No one will escape it. You will all be destroyed, with your homes burnt and your families put to the sword!' Gandalf screams at them to stop the arguing. But it only becomes louder and more angry.

And then. I see Frodo suddenly stand. 'I will take it ... I will take it ...I will take the Ring to Mordor' He says in a strong, steady voice. Again the whole room is silent. Frodo looks around the room. 'Though I do not know the way' He whispers. Gandalf rises to his feet.

I will help you bear this burden, Frodo Baggins, as long as it is yours to bear' He says and stands next to Frodo. If by my life or death I can protect you, I will' Says Aragorn and kneels before Frodo. 'you have my sword' Aragorn steps forward, followed by Legolas and Gimli.

'And you have my bow' Legolas says. 'And my axe' Says Gimli. Boromir looks at all of them and then walks to Frodo. 'You carry the fates of us all, little one' He looks towards Ada and Gandalf. 'If this is indeed the will of the Council, then Gondor will see it done' He says. I rise from my seat and I see Aragorn's face. He looks angry. 'Frodo, we started this journey together, so we will finish it' I say to him and bow. Frodo smiles and takes my hand. And so I stand next to Legolas and Aragorn. And he is not happy. 'Here!' A voice says. Sam pops out a bush 'Mr. Frodo's not going anywhere without me!' And he stands next to Frodo. 'No, indeed ... it is hardly possible to separate you ... even when he is summoned to a secret Council and you are not' Ada says with a smile. Merry and Pippin jump up from behind another bush! 'Oi! We're coming too! You'd have to send us home tied up in a sack to stop us!' Merry says brave. 'Anyway ... you need people of intelligence on this sort of mission ... quest ...thing..' Pippin says confused. 'Well, that rules you out, Pip' Merry says sarcastic. I chuckle. Pippin! Ada looks at our small party. 'ten companions ... so be it' Ada says. 'You shall be the Fellowship of the ring!' He announced.

'Great. Where are we going?' Asks Pippin.
