"Hey Mike," Will smiled, stepping into the house, the other kids behind him.

"Hi," Mike smiled, shutting the front door.

"Where's your girlfriend?" Dustin asked, a strange grin plastered on his face.

"Downstairs, basement." Mike replied, his cheeks starting to burn red. Even to this day, El being titled as his girlfriend made him blush.

"One," Max muttered, earning a grin from the other kids, except for Mike. She walked into the basement, the rest of the party following her.

"One?" Mike asked, closing the basement door and making his way down the stairs.

Lucas shrugged, "Nothing Mike." He couldn't stop the grin from forming on his face. "Hi El."

The girl looked up from her seat on the couch, her shoulder length hair falling around her face. "Hi," She replied simply, her eyes landing on Mike. "Mike why did you get up? You were warm," She frowned, sitting up fully.

Mike rubbed the back of his neck, "Sorry El, I didn't realize the door was locked so I had to go unlock it."

"Aw were you guys cuddling on the couch before we showed up?" Dustin teased, the same grin of his face.

"Oh shut up," Mike replied, taking a seat next to El and wrapping an arm around her shoulders, his cheeks starting to burn red.

"Two," Will smiled, sitting down on the couch. Dustin, Lucas and Max held back laughs and glanced at the couple curled up on the couch together.

"Why the fuck are you guys counting?" Mike asked, resting his chin on the top of El's head.

"Language Mike," El mumbled, curling into Mike's arms more, intertwining her fingers with his.

"Sorry El," Mike grinned, a light blush covering his cheeks at El's actions.

"Three." Lucas smiled, obviously holding back a laugh as Max placed an Atari controller in his hands.

Mike shook his head, for once unable to keep up with his friends' craziness. He wrapped his arms around El, her touch instantly making him feel relaxed and content. El shifted slightly to lay her head on her boyfriend's chest, her eyes falling closed slowly.

"You okay?" Mike asked softly, kissing the top of her head gently.

"Better now. I wasn't okay when you left to open the door; you weren't with me, I wasn't okay," El replied, a small smile forming on her lips, not noticing the blush that covered Mike's cheeks.

"Four." Dustin whispered, glancing back at the couple on the couch, a smirk on his face.

Mike glanced up at the rest of the party who quickly turned to look back at the game screen, just missing the glare Mike had just shot in their direction. Mike looked back down at the girl in his arms, falling back into the routine of memorizing El's features like it was the first time he had ever seen the girl.

He was whipped, lovestruck, addicted, obsessed... in love. In love with his first and last girlfriend, the person who had come into his life for the better and had completely flipped it upside down.

"Hey, you two should kiss!" Dustin laughed, looking back at the couple on the couch, making Mike blush and a cold look settle in his eyes. "We all know you want to kiss her. You're whipped."

Max hit Dustin's arm and whispered, "Hey, the rules were that we had to make Mike blush subtly or watch El make Mike blush. You can't just make Mike blush by saying shit."

"She's right. This still counts but you have to be subtle." Lucas added, looking at Mike, "So that's five."

"Someone tell me why you guys are counting." Mike groaned, giving the other kids a look, "It's seriously getting annoying. And I am not whipped."

"We can't tell you Mikey," Lucas smirked, using El's nickname for Mike."And yes you are whipped."

El pouted, "That's my nickname for him. My Mikey." Her words instantly made him blush again. Will held up six fingers, making the rest of the party snicker.

"For fucks sake..." Mike muttered, looking down at his girlfriend who was peacefully curled into his chest. The cold look in his eyes began to fade at the sight of his girl curled up in his arms. He smiled and held her closer, gently running his fingers through El's soft hair, a soft sigh escaping her lips.

"Mike?" El mumbled, opening her coffee coloured eyes to look up at her boyfriend.

A soft blush covered his cheeks as he smiled, "Yes El?"

"I love you."

Her words made the blush on his cheeks even darker. He didn't even notice the soft whisper of "that's seven" that was spoken on the other side of the room. "I love you too." He leaned down and gently kissed her lips.

Lucas looked over at the lip locked couple and grinned, "Aw how cute-"

"-and gross." Dustin sighed, "You guys are so sickly sweet sometimes."

"Eight." Will laughed, an amused smile on his lips, "And I think it's cute."

"That's just because Dusty doesn't have a girlfriend," Mike sighed, pressing a kiss to El's cheek.

"I don't need a girlfriend; it's me, myself and food until the end of the line." Dustin grinned, sending the rest of the kids into a fit of laughter.

"Let's play Monopoly," El said, proud of herself for saying that word correctly. She pulled away from her boyfriend and walking to the shelf of board games. She frowned and looked up at the box on the top shelf, "Mike, can you help me?" She asked sweetly.

Mike immediately got up and nodded, walking over to her and grabbing the box from the shelf, "Here you go El," He placed the box in her hands.

"Thanks Mike," El smiled and stood on her toes, leaning up to press a quick kiss against her boyfriends lips, making a red tint cover his cheeks.

"Damn Wheeler, all she did was kiss you and you look like a tomato," Max giggled, sitting down at the table, "Nine."

"Oh shut up," Mike rolled his eyes, taking a seat, "And why are you guys counting?"

"No reason." Max, Lucas, Dustin and Will replied in unison, wide grins plastered on their faces.

"You guys are crazy," Mike sighed, setting up the board game, grinning as El took a seat next to him, sitting quite close.

"Not as crazy as you are for El," Lucas smirked, taking the dice from the table and taking his turn.

Mike's cheeks turned red as he buried his head in El's hair, making the young girl giggle. "That's ten." Lucas muttered.

"God, Wheeler is so clueless," Max snickered, taking her turn.

"His obliviousness blows my mind," Dustin sighed, looking at the couple.

After a little while of playing the board game (the game ending with Dustin rage quitting and flipping the board) the rest of the kids had decided to leave, Mileven simply becoming too sickly sweet for them to handle. El laid on the couch while Mike proceeded to clean up the mess of cards and game pieces Dustin had thrown around the room.

"Bye guys," Max said, disappearing up the stairs, "Lucas hurry up if you want to walk me home."

"Jeez woman, one second." Lucas sighed, following his girlfriend up the stairs.

Dustin offered to drop Will off a home while he helped Mike with the game. "Bye you two." Dustin made his way up the stairs before shouting, "Make sure you use protection! We don't need a baby El with crazy powers running around!"

Mike blushed hard, "Dustin!" He rolled his eyes and went to sit with El who had a confused look on her face.

"Protection?" El asked, blinking innocently.

◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇◇

"Okay so in the span of 2 hours, Mike blushed eleven times," Dustin reported as he walked down the street with the other kids.

Max laughed dryly, "That can't get anymore cliche, damn."

"What do you mean?" Will asked.

"He's dating El, or Eleven and he blushed eleven times in the span of two hours." Max replied.

Dustin shook his head, "Jeez what is this, a story or something?"

Lucas shrugged, "All I know is that Mike is whipped and we get to bug him about it forever." He grinned, "Fuck yeah."
