Pt. 1 Drooping (Soulmate! King George III x Reader)
Yup dis a soulmate themed oneshot, my first time actually writing one 😓. This is that, when you're born you can't see all the colors but you can see the color of their eyes only. When you meet your soulmate, you see colors! This is a modern/not modern oneshot. Yes it's confusing.

Y/N's POV:
I sat in my garden, idle. Looking around at the beautifully colored flowers that were now blooming. At least...I think they're beautifully colored...
I looked down at the different shaped flowers and leaves. Blue. All blue, everyday of my life. The sky is blue, bluebonnets are blue, chlorine is blue, blue, blue, blue! I'm sick of it! Sick. Of. It! I mean, it's a gorgeous color, but there's hundreds of other colors I NEED to see!
Like purple! What color is purple? I hear that people see green, brown, and sometimes even red! I mean, what's a red?! I bet they're amazing as well! I wonder what colors tulips are! And petunias, daffodils, roses! I really need to know! But I haven't found my soulmate yet...do I even have a soulmate?
My mom says that once I see colors I've met my soulmate. But yet, whenever we travel or whatever, no colors other than blue! To be quite honest, I've basically just given up trying to find my soulmate. He's probably in love with another girl that's not me. Can soulmates fall in love with other people? I've had many crushes on guys in my school or tv shows and movies. What if a celebrity is my soulmate?! No...what're the odds anyway? A normal, wildflower, with a celebrity as her soulmate. Pffft impossible.
"Y/n! Come inside the news is playing!" I heard my mother call. "Coming!" I yelled as I put my gardening tools and hat down on our patio. I entered through our glass door and closed it shut hoping no flys or bugs came inside.
I came into the kitchen and saw my mom staring at the black and white Tv that had a blue background. "What is it?" I asked my mom as she turned the volume higher. "King George III is coming to visit America! He's coming to Y/S (your state) tomorrow!" My mother freaked, "We need to see him! He'll be at Y/S central at 10:00 am! I'll wake you up at five so we can arrive early, okay?" My mother explained. I nodded.
She always gets like this. If someone important or famous comes, she'll pack our things and go to where the person is. I stared at the tv as a photo of King George III came on. He wore a cape and the typical kingly shit. I focused on his face. Heh, blue eyes, nice. Maybe he's- no no I know LOTS of people with blue eyes. It's probably just a coincidence.
The next day my mom did exactly what she said she'd do. Wake me up SUPER early that I would probably fall asleep during the ride there. I put on the best clothes I had in my closet and met my mom in the car. The drive took at least four hours so I was just on my phone for the most of he ride. Either that or I fell asleep listening to asmr on my earbuds.
When we arrived, there were thousand of people barging there way to the front. "That's probably where the king is!" She said to me pointing to the front of the crowd. We rushed up there pushing and sometimes kicking people out of the way. When we got to the front though, there was no one.
I sighed, "It's probably just some false rumor someone made up," I said to my mom as she frowned expecting that she would've got to see the king. "Let's just go-" as I was finishing my sentence, a ten foot long carriage drove in front of us.
"He's here!" My mom yelled as she got out her camera, ready to snap a photo with the king. As she pushed to the front, I was pushed further into the middle of the crowd. I stood on my tippie toes trying to at least get a glimpse of the King of England.
The crowd started to quite down as the kings guards were ordered to go forward into the crowd. Where I am! I heard the Kong's steps and my sight got blurry for a few moments. It got worse and worse until finally, King George was standing right in front of me.
We immediately made eye contact and my head was hurting so badly! I closed my eyes in pain then slowly opened them. Oh. My. God. I see colors! Tons and tons of bright reds and yellows and golds! I let out a happy laugh.
"I-I...I..." the king said startled. I panicked oh my god oh my god oh my god! He's my soulmate! Him! FRICKING KING OF ENGLAND! AHHHHHHHH! I was literally screaming in my head.
"I...see colors..." the king finally said. He looked down at me curiously. Then got out a E/c (eye colored) rose from one of his guards. "I've been looking for you miss?" He bowed down asking for my name. "Y-Y/N! T-That's my name!" He chuckled at my flustered state.
"Well miss Y/N," he said handing me my rose, "I may think i have found my soulmate," he finished. The crowd cheered in applause for the king and his new soulmate. Me! My mother started crying tears of joy and I had a confused, happy face? If that's even possible.
I-is this what love is? Finding your soulmate? I-I see colors...but there's still this empty loaning feeling...maybe because I just met George today...right?
George's POV:
My soulmate. I found my soulmate. The person I was made for. I smiled at the tourists and cameras as people began bombarding me with ridiculous questions like: "You have a soulmate?! I didn't even know you had a heart!" or "Why can't you be my soulmate?" and even, "The fuck? This girl is your soulmate? You? This girl is so fucking boring!". I growled at that last question. How dare they make fun of my soulmate?!
I looked down at Y/N and saw her staring at the floor with a confused and uncomfortable look on. I frowned. "Alright, alright, no more questions! No more cameras! Nothing!" I commanded pushing people away. Y/N looked at me thankfully.
After everyone was gone, I checked my lovely soulmate. She was still uncomfortable but less confused. I frowned once more.
"Are you not enjoying being my soulmate?" I asked her sadly. She thought for a second which made my heart burst. "I do like being your soulmate," she said. I sighed in relief. "But I don't know if we should just hop into being lovers. I barely know you to even be friends-" I cut her off. "B-but the news!" I complained. She sighed.
"Yes there's the news, but I don't think I wanna date the King George III that's on the news. They said you hooked up with a random village girl..." she said worried. "T-that's a rumor! I need to get my lawyer..." I said. I never hooked up with a girl in my life! Imbeciles!
"I-I just need time to think okay?" She said. I paused. W-why does she need to think? D-does s-she not love m-me? I shook off the terrifyingly heartbreaking thought. I nodded slowly.
She smiled. "Thanks...I-I'm going home," she said as she fixed her hair a bit. "W-want me to-" I was about to ask her if she wanted a ride in my limo but she didn't allow me to finish me sentence. "No. I want to go on my own..." she said interrupting me.
Y/N started walking towards her mother's car while I kept my eyes on her. She got inside and left.
Will she love me?
