You were sitting on Dust's bed, waiting for him and Admin~senpai when your boredom got the best of you. You walked over to the bookshelf and took out a random book and sat back down on the bed. The book looked like an old journal, dusty leather cover and all. You open it and flipped through some pages before settling a page. After a while, you notice that it was someone's journal. You look at the front and see the name ComicSans on it. Huh.

You skimmed through the pages, since they were all boring and other s**t like that, until one particular entry that was written when he was 10 captured your eye:

Entry No. XXXX

    Yesterday while dad was doing my weekly checkup, I noticed he was acting a bit...careful, around me. I don't know why, but he's been acting like that for a while now. Maybe because of my powers? My low af HP? Or something else?...

...It wasn't until later that day before I figured it out...

While my dad was on a meeting with King Asgore, I broke into his office and decided to check my stats. This is what I found:

I skipped through those, already knowing about them. I was about to give up when I saw a particular page...

You hear a sound of a portal opening outside the room. You quickly shut the journal and put it back on the shelf right before the door slams open and a now-adult Dust walks in sleepily. He just nods at you and staggers towards his bed and flops down and snuggles in the blankets. After a little while you hear smol, cute snores coming from the blanket pile. You silently walk out the room as to not wake him up. While walking, you couldn't stop thinking about what you read, more and more questions flowing into your head. You decided you would investigate another time...

I just thought of a headcannon for Dusty. So mah headcannon is that Dust was abandoned when he was born and two humans took him in (keep in mind that this is happening in the surface) and did tests and experiments on him ever since. Because of this, he attained mismatched eyes, a blue surrounded by red one and a smaller red one, and became numb and emotionless to everything. To fix this, the humans did one last experiment that made him have split personalities, then the humans put a piece of paper on him that had the name ' Dust' on it, then left him on WingDings Gaster's doorstep. When WingDings found him and saw his name, he shook his head, saying that Dust wasn't a good name for a skeleton monster like him, and they decided to make that his second name, and named him ComicSans instead. Sans for short. And thus, ComicSans Dust Gaster was born...

That's all I've got for now. I'm thinking that, if I have the time, I'll make a story out of this on mah account...maybe...
