5. Do Dreams Really Come True ?

Hyunjin's POV

Me and Haengbok talked for hours after meeting on the rooftops of a random building.

The rain had cleared out and it hadn't felt like that long since we started talking but soon the sun was rising and me and him were admiring the view in sweet silence.

"Do you..."

I stopped myself from talking.

"Do I what ?"

I looked out onto the sunset, not knowing if I should ask the question.

"Do you think... do you think that if I tried being a hero people would really like me ?"

I looked over at Haengbok only to see him nod while looking at the sunrise.

He looked over at me, and the look in his eyes had me freezing in place.

He let out a light chuckle, a little huff of air slipping past his lips as he looked back out onto the sunrise.

"Yeah, I do."

I sat crisscross, turning to face him instead of the sunrise.

"How come ?"

He looked over at me with an unreadable expression on his face, I could tell he wasn't pleased.

"Your self doubt doesn't please me one bit, but I think they'll like you once they grow use to the image of you being nice instead of mean."

I nodded, a sad smile coming to my face.

"Thank you for believing in me."

He nodded, a grin pulling at his lips.

"Always."

Me and Haengbok agreed to see each other some time soon, as it was becoming the early morning and we couldn't stay up for much longer, we had to start the day off with rest after all.

I awoke hours later feeling like my interactions with Haengbok were just a dream, but once my phone dinged with a notification and I looked at my screen in my sleepy haze I knew it wasn't one.

Haengbok: Good afternoon, hope you have a good day.

Me:Haha, I don't think that's something you're supposed to say to a villain but I hope that you do too.

Haengbok: Yeah that's true but I still wanted to say it, your day should be spent well and I wanted to start it off nicely with this message.

Me:Well, that's sweet. Thank you.

Haengbok: It's no problem :) .

I smiled as I read over our messages, yeah I think today will go well.

I got up from my bed with a light smile on my face, hoping my day would go as well as Haengbok wants it to be.

I got into the shower while humming Lullaby by Got7, getting dressed soon after brushing my hair and braiding a few strands back, clipping the braids back with a cute heart shaped clip.

I got dressed in an oversized sweater and some white cargo shorts, along with my converses.

"I think this looks alright."

I said to myself while looking in the mirror.

Once I put on a bit of lip oil to make my lips glossy and soft I left my bedroom to make myself lunch, but not before slipping the lip oil into my pocket along with my phone.

I turned on the living room tv from the kitchen island, having an open kitchen has it's perks.

News Reporter: "Yesterday, Haengbok chased down a speeding delivery truck that was being driven by Asani Sam, only to disappear minutes later along with Asani Sam, police stated that Haengbok appeared 3, almost 4 minutes later and Haengbok said Asani Sam got away."

"It hadn't seemed like he was injured, but officials say they couldn't be to sure as Haengbok rushed off before anyone could ask any other questions."

"That is all the news in crimes today, now moving onto the weather-"

I changed the channel with a light smile.

They'll never know what happened.

I sat at my kitchen island eating my food while watching a cartoon on tv.

What should I do today ?

I looked down at my empty plate, thinking.

After washing my dishes I looked out of the window, seeing the beautiful city view just off of where I lived.

My house had an overview of the city, it was rather beautiful, every now then when I get back from fighting with Haengbok I go up to my rooftop and stare out at the view from there, it's absolutely gorgeous.

Seeing it in the day time doesn't do the view any justice.

I wiped my hands with a paper towel as I pulled away from the sink, I still haven't come up with an idea on what to do.

I turned off the livingroom tv before I grabbed my jacket from the coat rack, grabbing my key from the side table near the front door.

I walked out onto my front yard, going into the hidden room just beside my house, I made it look like it was apart of the house from the outside, but the truth is it's just an elevator down to my hideout and the city below me.

Once I got down to the ground floor I got into my car and opened the garage door, it opened up to the beautiful neighborhood I lived in.

Having two houses is the best, is all I could think as I pulled out of the driveway, looking back to the cute little house that was hiding a big secret behind it's closed doors.

I drove off, not knowing where I'd end up.

(A/N: It's a bit of a short chapter but I've been working on it for a little while and thought I'd finish it off with somewhat of a cliffhanger.)
