"Sweetie, are you alright?" Mama asked I didn't answer, "I'm coming in." she said as she entered my room, "Sweetheart, you can talk to me. I can guarantee you I'll care a whole heck of a lot more than your father." She said, "I'm scared. This group that calls themselves Paradox they are far stronger than anyone you and Dad fought. And it's up to me to stop them! But I'm too weak." I said, "I just want it all to stop, Mama I want it all just to go away." I said, "I'm so sorry sweetie, but this time, Mama can't make it all better." She said as she rolled up her right sleeve, "My mark is gone, I'm no longer a Signer. I can't keep you away from this, no matter how much I want to. Fate is cruel and she wants nothing more than to put you through challenge after challenge. Each one more difficult than the last." She said, "Mama, can you at least be there with me?" I asked, "I'd like to see that stupid ancient dragon try and stop me." She said as she kissed my cheek, despite everything she said nothing changed I still wanted my mark gone.

I decided to run away, I know it's not the smartest thing to do, but it was the only thing I could think to do. "(y/n)?" someone said as their car came to a screeching halt, "Oh hey Aunt Carly." I said, "What are you doing out here all by yourself? Your mother has to be worried." She said, "Probably, but who cares. It's better that I leave, less people will get hurt." I said, "Get in." She said. "Is someone bothering you at school again? Is it Neo?" She asked, "No it-it's someone named Nex." I said.

"So let me get this straight. This Nex guy and his organization want to rewrite future events, but to do so they're targeting you and you don't understand why." Aunt Carly said as went inside her house, "Yeah." I said, "Get over yourself. They're probably after your father the one who's developing the number cards. They probably just want to take you hostage to get him to stop his work." Uncle Jack said, "Jack be nice!" Aunt Carly said, "But he has a point kiddo. Despite what your mother wants you to believe, you're not the center of the universe." She said, "I DON'T CARE! I just want everything to go back to normal!" I said, "Brat." Sky said, "Sky!" Aunt Carly said, "You're acting like a spoiled brat (y/n)! You lost a duel, so what. Your official record is 6-56 what makes this loss any different than the other 55?" Sky said, "BECAUSE I WAS GETTING BETTER! I was undefeated for a while and now I know why. My monsters terrified others and I was supposed to be the only one who could XYZ summon, but Nex could! He used a deck far stronger than anything I'd come up against and even stronger than your dad's deck!" I said, "SO WHAT! He's strong we get it, that was clear from the beginning! You're pathetic (y/n) you've been trying and trying to go out of your way to handle this all on your own just because you have the head of the dragon, but you're not alone anymore! Aoi has the foot of the dragon!" She said, suddenly her right arm began to glow bright red and a mark appeared.
