(Fiction POV)

I'm over at "Planeptune Basilicom" with Neptune and Nepgear playing games. As for Histoire she's busy right now. Guess the "Oracle of Planeptune" is never done. Neptune ask if I wanted to hangout so I'd said yes. Use my Aurora Curtains travel toward Neptune Sisters bedroom.

Felt little entering a girls room. Still uneasy going into Noire and Uni whenever they ask me come over. No. No steamy stuff happen.

Right we're playing something similar to Mario Karts.

Afternoon

*Game Victory sfx*

Neptune: Yeppy! I got 1st place!

Nepgear: I got second.

Fiction: And....I got fifth....shit.

Don't really play a lot of videogames because not much money to spend nor had time for back then.

Nepgear has her left hand on my right shoulder.

Nepgear: Aw. It's okay. I'm sure next time you'll be at us.

Neptune: Just takes a lot of practice. So cheer up bucko!

I sigh and smile.

Fiction: Okay. Thanks Nep. Nepgear.

They smile.

After a few retries I eventually kept winning like it was nothing.

*Game Victory sfx*

Neptune: Nep-what?!

Nepgear: Amazing. You learn pretty quickly.

Fiction: Guess a few more tries does help.

Late Afternoon

(Neptune POV)

Oh, man! Fiction kept winning and getting first place! Thought of an idea for us to go to the arcade. We've played fighting, racing each other and etc. He won multiple times until he let us win. Acts like Nepgear and I didn't notice. But we did.

Which was sweet of him. The way he presses the buttons, moves the control stick and how he analyzes our attack patterns and NPC's. Finally stop at a fast food joint to get some grub while eating together at one of the tables.

Nepgear: You were incredible, Fiction.

Neptune: Dude. You should enter a game tournament. For sure you would've won like a boss.

Fiction: Mmmm.....nah. Busy with hero stuff.

Nepgear: Come to think of it. What is your real reason wanting to be a hero?

Fiction: Let's see..... I was inspired by the heroes from comics, manga, video games and shows how they help people despite not gaining any rewards. I did it because they wanted too so everyone can be safe and happy and wouldn't let them go through like they did.

Fiction went silent after he said those words.

Fiction: 'But sometimes I wonder if it is really what I'm doing or just for the attention'?

Neptune: You okay?

Fiction: Huh? Oh, yeah. Sorry.

Nepgear: What's wrong?

Fiction: Nothing. Don't worry about it.

Neptune: C'mon. You can tell us. We're your friends. Remember?

He nodded. Fiction told us what his thoughts were. Question if his heroic deeds are genuine or for attention. Since Fiction had no family and friends back then. We felt bad for asking a touchy subject. Nepgear Jr. and I gave our answers to him.

Neptune: So far you've helped everyone without any rewards not acknowledgement.

Nepgear: You even save Noire, Rom and Ram. To all of us. You are a hero.

Neptune: Yeah.

Fiction (smile): Thank you, Neptune and Nepgear.

We smile back at Fiction. He's a very sweet, nice, brave and selfless guy. I remember every time he carried me like a princess. Makes blush.

Fiction: How about I buy dessert? It's on me.

Neptune (^_^): Yay! I'll have a chocolate fudge sundae!

Nepgear: I'll have one too.

Fiction: Okay. 'Guess I am overthinking what I have been doing all this time. Still..... anyway better enjoy today'.
