Narrator: "The Tournament of Power has ended with Universe 7 as the undisputed victor. Thanks to the combined efforts of Quasar Kaze and his friends, peace was now once again in both the Earth and Gamindustri's grasp. However, a rather interesting development began to take place."

Quasar: I got it! Excuse me, Histoire. I know this may sound a little weird, but do you think that maybe I could borrow the Light Star Dragon Balls? It's really important that I talk to the Eternal Dragon.

Narrator: "With his mind still thinking about the powerful opposition he had just faced in the Omni-King's tournament, Quasar requested to use the Dragon Balls of his home world to summon the eternal dragon, Hyper Shenron, and grant his wish to find and challenge an incredibly strong opponent to battle."

Hyper Shenron: YOU WHO HAVE GATHERED THE SEVEN DRAGON BALLS, SPEAK YOUR WISH AND I SHALL GRANT IT.

Quasar: For my first wish, I would like for you to transport me to this other universe. For my second wish, I'd want for any and all damage that might occur in the fight to be undone as soon as there's a winner. Do you think you could do that?

Hyper Shenron: BUT OF COURSE. THAT IS BUT A SIMPLE TASK.

Quasar: Sweet. And now, for my third and final wish, I want you to teleport me and whoever I'll be facing back to where they belong after the fight is over. You don't mind that, do you?

Hyper Shenron: VERY WELL. YOUR WISH HAS BEEN GRANTED.

Narrator: "Thanks to the power of the Dragon Balls, Quasar quickly vanished before his friends and family to another universe where one of the strongest warriors currently resides. A brand-new challenge awaits the young Saiyan of Gamindustri... Now!!!"

The very first thing to be shown is a large-sized blue and green colored planet floating in space. It was then where a title card suddenly appeared on the screen, which read "Planet Earth".

The scene then shifts over to a shot of a vast hinterland of long grasses and Druidic monuments beneath a boundless blue sky. Then, it was at this very moment that a certain Saiyan warrior suddenly appeared atop one of the hills and began looking around the vicinity, with only one question on his mind.

Quasar: Woah... Where am I?

As he continued looking around the grassy plains trying to figure out where exactly he was transported, it was then where somebody suddenly appeared right beside the young Saiyan.

This person in particular was a beautiful-looking young woman with a pale-skin complexion, shoulder-length lavender hair with pink streaks and bright, icy-blue eyes which were hidden beneath a pair of large, black rimless glasses. She has a voluptuous figure hidden beneath her outfit, which mostly consists of a short black and white frilly dress with black frilled cuffs on each wrist, along with black shoes that have white markings. Her stockings are white, with the right one having a garter on the top. Around her neck is a black ribbon with a purple gem, and on her left foot is a silver charm with another purple gem in the middle. Additionally, this one person seemed to be transparent as she also appeared to be floating above the ground, making it almost seem like she was a ghost of some kind.

???: I believe this is the place, Quasar.

Quasar gasped a little bit before his sky-blue eyes turned to his right to see the transparent-looking woman floating right beside him, prompting him to smile lightly as he then spoke to the mysterious, ghostly figure.

Quasar: You really think so, Uranus?

The spirit, who was now known as "Uranus", merely responded to the Saiyan's question with a simple nod.

Uranus: Yes. It looks like your wish to Hyper Shenron might have been successful.

The spiky-haired young man gasped a little bit in excitement before a smile suddenly made its way on his face.

Quasar: Alright! Now all I gotta do is try and find the strongest person here on this planet.

Uranus: And just how exactly do you plan to begin your search?

Quasar: Oh, that's easy. I'll just search for this person's energy signature by sensing their ki.

As soon as he finished explaining himself to Uranus, Quasar closed both of his eyes in order for him to focus as he began utilizing his ki sensing ability to try and search for a person's energy signature. Then, after a few short minutes of silence, Quasar had finally started to sense something extremely powerful. To him, this feeling was something he just could not ignore as he immediately opened his bright-blue eyes and smirked at the large amount of ki that he just felt.

Quasar: Bingo! Whoever they are, I can tell that their power level is off the charts.

Uranus: Are you positive?

Quasar: Yeah, this person is definitely strong. Probably one of the strongest here on this entire planet.

Uranus said nothing and simply nodded to Quasar's statement. Then, after the ghostly woman vanished into thin air, Quasar decided to waste no time at all and then proceeded to casually leap off the ground and jump high into the air. After leaping off the grass beneath his own feet, Quasar quickly enveloped himself in a pure, yet translucent silver-white colored aura as he then took off like a rocket and flew through the air at supersonic speeds with his current destination being the source of the incredibly large power level, he had just sensed a few seconds ago.

The scene then transitions over to an overview of a large, beautiful-looking city that appeared to be filled with incredibly tall skyscrapers. Within this bustling metropolis, there were several people who were just mingling down the sidewalks on their daily strolls, as well as a few cars that were driving down the street.

Meanwhile, at a nearby coffee shop, there was a certain individual who was casually enjoying her morning as she drank her morning coffee out of a plastic cup with a bacon, egg, and cheese croissant sandwich on a plate right next to the coffee.

This person was an attractive woman who also seemed to possess a slim, yet muscular appearance to her, with her also having semi-long blonde hair and aqua-blue eyes. In terms of clothing, she appeared to be wearing an unzipped black motorcycle jacket with silver metal studs, a plain white t-shirt underneath the jacket, denim blue jeans, and brown shoes.

The blonde-haired woman was Carol Danvers, also known as "Binary", "Warbird", "Ms. Marvel" and finally, her most well-known superhero alias "Captain Marvel". After encountering the Kree hero Captain Mar-vell, Carol Danvers was accidentally subjected to otherworldly radiation that transformed her into a superhuman warrior. Calling herself "Ms. Marvel", she established herself as one of the most powerful and prominent heroes, both as a solo heroine and as a member of the Avengers, where she had adopted the mantle of "Captain Marvel" for herself.

Carol: Man, things sure have been peaceful ever since that last battle for the earth. Makes me wonder when something interesting might happen again.

After talking to herself, Carol casually took a bite out of her sandwich before she suddenly felt some kind of unknown presence which seemed to be fast-approaching straight toward her direction.

This sudden feeling was so great that it made the blonde-haired woman immediately stand up out of her chair and start looking around for the source of the powerful energy signature.

Carol: (Okay, just what the hell is that I'm suddenly feeling right now?! It's so ridiculously strong! But who could it be? Thor? Banner? No... There's no way it could be those two. I haven't heard from them in months.) Hmm... Well, whatever it is, I should never leave anything to chance.

Not exactly sure what to expect, Carol walked away from the coffee shop and then ran into a back alleyway where no one could see her. Then, after a few seconds, the female Avenger began to take flight as she was now surrounded by a bright-red, blue, and gold-colored energy aura and then used this unique aura of hers to fly through the air at blazing speeds, leaving behind a trail of red, blue, and gold light as she then flew off to go and confront the source of this abnormally large power level.

Five Minutes Later

In the middle of the bright-blue sky, Carol Danvers was seen flying through the air at an extremely fast pace with a serious look on her face as she wanted to get to the bottom of the mysterious large energy signature that just appeared out of nowhere.

Carol: (Whatever it is better not be trying to destroy the earth, otherwise I'm gonna be so freakin' pissed.)

Meanwhile, Quasar was also seen flying through the air at break-neck speeds as he, much like Carol, was trying to find the source of the massively powerful source of energy.

Quasar: Let's see... If I were a really strong power level, where would I-

Just then, right before he could even finish his own sentence, Quasar quickly noticed something far off in the distance, which seemed to be approaching him at an equal level of speed roughly comparable to his own.

Quasar: Huh? Wait, hold on! It couldn't be...

In an instant, the two forces of Carol Danvers and Quasar Kaze manage to collide with one another as they both bounce back from the energy that was emitted from their respective auras. Then, immediately after both Quasar and Carol backed away from each other, the two airborne warriors began looking at one another as they both appeared to have a look on their faces which seemed to be a mixture of surprise and confusion. Carol's aqua-blue eyes bored straight into Quasar's french, sky-blue eyes as they were both trying to get an overall feel from one another.

Eventually, after a few seconds of pure silence, Quasar decided to be the first one to engage the female superhero in some form of communication.

Quasar: Hey there!

Confused by what exactly she was looking at, Carol reluctantly greeted the young Saiyan back.

Carol: Uh... hello.

Quasar: I don't think we've met before. My name's Quasar Kaze. It's a pleasure to meet you.

After he nonchalantly introduced himself to the blonde-haired woman, Quasar offered his right hand to Carol, signifying that he wanted to shake her hand. The female Avenger stared at the open hand of the spiky-haired young man for a little bit with his bright-blue eyes before she ultimately sighed in disbelief and then offered her own right hand to Quasar, with the two airborne warriors shaking each other hands for a few seconds.

Carol: ... Carol Danvers.

Then, shortly after they both finished shaking each other's hands, Carol decided to be the first person to speak up as she wanted to get a few things off of her chest.

Carol: Listen, kid. I really don't wanna be THAT kind of person, but... Just who or what exactly are you? From what I can tell, you're clearly not human.

As soon as he heard this, Quasar began shaking the back of his head while also laughing nervously.

Quasar: Ahahaha... Yeah, I guess you're not wrong. Well, how exactly should I put this? Hmm... Oh, I got it. I'm a Saiyan from another world called Gamindustri.

Upon hearing this relatively minor piece of information from the young man, Carol started to raise an eyebrow as she was unfamiliar with anything he had just said.

Carol: Say what? "Saiyan"... "Gamindustri"... Just what the hell are you talking about?!

Quasar: Umm... Well, you see... Gamindustri is the name of my homeworld, and a Saiyan is a kind of extraterrestrial race of extremely powerful warriors.

Upon hearing this, Carol immediately started shooting a rather serious glare at the young Saiyan.

Carol: Hold on a second. So, you're some kind of alien from another world? And what exactly are you doing here on earth? Start talking!

Not wanting to cause any form of misunderstanding, Quasar decided to explain himself a bit further. The young Saiyan then went on to explain the blonde woman a bit more about himself, Gamindustri, his friends and loved ones back home, as well as several of the countless adventures and battles he had been in.

After getting a clearer picture of the situation, Carol's skepticism from before had begun to diminish as she could tell that Quasar was not a threat to the safety of the planet earth.

Carol: Okay... That's one helluva story, kid. Now, if I'm not mistaken, you're telling me that you came here because you were bored out of your mind and decided to ask a wish-granted dragon to find someone strong and challenge them to a fight?

Quasar: Well, I guess that's a pretty simple way of putting it.

Carol just kept staring at the Saiyan with a neutral expression on her face before she started asking him questions again.

Carol: ... And you're sure that you aren't here to start an alien invasion or anything like that?

Quasar: W-What? No, of course not! I just want a good fight, that's all. Hyper Shenron said there might be someone out there in the multiverse who could give me a challenge and push me past my own limits. So, what do you say, Carol? Wanna go a few rounds?!

As soon as Quasar said this question to her, Carol tilted her head slightly and looked at Quasar for a moment with the same blank expression on her face. Quasar had a nervous smile on his face as he scratched the back of his head.

Finally, after a good ten seconds, Quasar spoke up once again.

Quasar: Look, I'm really sorry for being so sudden with you, but after I sensed your power earlier, I just-

Carol: Sure. I accept your challenge.

The female Avenger's response caught Quasar completely off guard.

Carol: To be honest, I've been pretty bored myself after me and some of the other Avengers saved the world a couple months ago, so in a way, I'm glad SOMETHING interesting finally decided to happen around here. So fine, I'll spar with you. However, don't go thinking I'll take it easy on you just because you're some kid.

Even though Quasar was still taken aback by her sudden acceptance, this did not mean that he wasn't excited in the slightest. In fact, it was quite the opposite as a big smile found its way onto his face.

Quasar: Woohoo! You mean it? Aww yeah! I was hoping you were gonna say that! Let's do this!

Just before he was about to get into a fighting stance, Uranus' spirit quickly reappeared beside Quasar.

Uranus: *Ahem* Pardon me, but I believe a change in scenery would be in order.

Quasar: Huh? Hehehehehe... Yeah, okay. I guess you got a point there, Uranus. Hey Carol, come over here for a second.

Carol: Okay... Why?

Quasar: I'm gonna take us somewhere with more space, then we can really begin our fight. Grab my hand, okay?

Confused, but nevertheless intrigued by this sudden request, Carol floated over to Quasar as she watched him place both his index and middle fingers on his forehead. Then, shortly after she grabbed onto Quasar's left hand, the young Saiyan used his signature technique, the Instant Transmission, in order to teleport both him and Carol Danvers away to another location, with it looking like they both weren't floating in the air a few minutes ago.

After a couple seconds of mild silence, Quasar and Carol suddenly appeared out of nowhere as they both stood in a vast wasteland area filled with grassy plains, lush green trees, several lakes filled with crystal clear-blue water, and several mountains ranging from small to large around them.

Immediately after their arrival, Quasar and Carol separated from one another, with Quasar even taking in the view around them.

Quasar: Yep! This place oughta do the trick. From what I can tell, there aren't any people or animals nearby.

Carol: Hey, kid. What was that thing you did just now?

Quasar: Hmm? Oh, that's nothing too special. That was just my Instant Transmission technique.

Carol: "Instant Transmission"... So, it's like teleportation?

Quasar: Yeah, you could say that.

After he answered her question, the young Saiyan began to perform a few stretches to his left leg, followed by his right leg, and then finishing his little workout by doing a bit of handstand push-ups before he eventually got back to his feet and started cracking both of his knuckles with a confident smirk on his face.

On the opposite side of the wasteland, Carol appeared to be doing a couple of arm and leg stretches so as to make sure that her joints were tight and stiff for the battle ahead. After a bit, she turned around and looked back at Quasar, with the two of them backing away from one another until they were a comfortable distance from each other.

BGM - Dragon Ball Kai OST: The Formidable Warrior, The Saiyan

Then, after giving each other enough distance, Carol immediately activated the trackpad on her left wrist in order to call upon her superhero attire at will. After a brief flash of light quickly enveloped Carol, her overall attire had completely changed. The outfit that she currently wore mostly consisted of a dark, navy-blue colored full-bodied suit with bluish-green outlines, a cherry-red collared tight-capelet with orange-colored linings and a bright, golden-colored sparkle symbol draped around her shoulders and chest, a crimson-red sash wrapped around her waist, matching cherry-red boots with gold trimmings on the top, and finally a pair of matching cherry-red gloves.

As soon as she had changed her attire and took on her superhero persona "Captain Marvel", Carol decided to ask Quasar a very simple question.

Captain Marvel: Alright, kid. Are you ready?

Quasar: You better believe it! I can already tell that this is gonna be a good match. Let's get this thing started!

After he had finished speaking to Captain Marvel, the two warriors quickly got into their respective fighting stances, with Quasar having his right arm bent upward with his hand seemingly holding up two fingers, while his left arm tucked against his torso. As for Carol, her stance appeared to be very similar to that of a trained boxer as both of her hands were clenched tightly into fists.

Upon seeing this for himself, Quasar's smirk grew into a substantial grin as he could hardly contain his overwhelming excitement for this battle to occur. The two fighters simply stared directly at each other as the wind blew all throughout the wasteland area.

Then, after a very short amount of time had passed, Captain Marvel started dashing to her left with Quasar mimicking the femme fatale as he dashed over to his right. After running for a little bit, Quasar and Captain Marvel quickly stopped right before they started dashing towards each other and then began clashing extremely powerful kicks with each other, which knocked both of them back away from one another before Carol started dashing to her right, followed by her vanishing right in front of Quasar, and then finally reappearing behind the Saiyan before she delivered a strong roundhouse kick to the side of his face, which sent him flying backwards.

Shortly after he recovered from the attack, Quasar was greeted by Carol who immediately struck him in the face with a strong left hook, prompting him to quickly strike back with a punch of his own. Unfortunately for Quasar, his punch failed to connect with its intended target as Captain Marvel disappeared once again before she reappeared behind the Saiyan and then took a big leap into the air, narrowly avoiding Quasar's counterattack with before they started clashing kicks with each other and then proceeding to exchange punches with both fighters appearing to be on evenly matched, as they also appeared to be dodging several of their attacks.

After exchanging blows with one another, Carol decided to switch up her tactics a bit as she leapt upwards in order to avoid some of Quasar's attacks before she immediately struck him back with a plethora of powerful kicks, which forced her spiky-haired opponent to block the attacks using his arms. Unfortunately, the force of the kicks were so strong that it actually sent Quasar flying backwards, before Captain Marvel clenched her right hand into a fist as it was now surrounded by a bright-red, blue, and gold-colored energy.

Captain Marvel: Eat this!

The female Avenger wasted no time and shot out a powerful energy blast from her hand and fired it straight at Quasar, who successfully managed to counter it with a last-second, yellow-colored energy blast of his own, with the two energy based attacks colliding with each other and then creating a medium-sized puff of smoke in-between the two fighters before it quickly faded away. Not wanting to miss an opportunity to gain a slight advantage in the fight, Captain Marvel quickly rushed towards Quasar and threw a strong right hook in the hopes of knocking her opponent out cold.

However, right before her attack could connect, Quasar quickly grabbed Carol's wrist with his left hand. Both fighters simply stood still for a few minutes, with both of them looking straight into each other's eyes. Then, after a brief moment of staring at each other, a rather small cut suddenly found its way onto the right side of Quasar's cobalt-blue gi, which seemed to have been caused by the sheer amount of force behind Captain Marvel's punch.

Meanwhile, in the distance, there was a pair of individuals who were currently spectating the fight that was currently happening with extreme interest.

The first individual was a young woman who looked identical to Quasar's friend, Neptune, meaning that she had long lilac hair with bangs that reached down to her collar bone and bright-purple eyes. In her hair, she wore a pair of black hair-clips in the shape of D-pads and around her neck is a choker that has a light-blue D-pad symbol on it. Attire wise, She wore a mostly black one-piece parka dress that has a purple hood, strings that look like controller plugs, and two huge black and purple pockets with blue circles on them. The sleeves have two light-blue stripes going all the way down while the front of the parka only contains one. The ends of the sleeves and the bottom of the parka have black and purple stripes. The zipper emblem and the back of the parka has a purple letter "N" to represent the first letter of her name. Unlike the other Neptune, she does not appear to wear thigh-high socks and her shoes are black and purple. She also appeared to be wearing a black and purple gun holster on her left thigh that matches the rest of her outfit.

The girl with the long purple hair was in fact an older version of Neptune who originated from the Ultra Dimension. Much like the smaller Neptune, she has a bright and positive personality. Contrary to her mature look, however, she displays some semblance of innocence or defenselessness in her actions.

The second individual was a fairy-like/human being who appeared to be a pale-tan skinned girl with bright, azure-blue eyes and choppy, platinum-blonde colored hair that is worn with black ear pieces with red on them. She also has a pair of purple and blue gradient themed wings and wears a black dress with silver and red accents, a crimson-red ribbon tied around her right wrist, and a cape-like piece that attaches to her top by the big pink orb in the center of it, with smaller pink orbs below her shoulders.

The tiny girl sitting on top of a book was named Croire, who was a tome similar in nature to that of Histoire. However, whereas Histoire can establish connections with her counterparts across dimensions, Croire has the ability to directly traverse dimensions. She often plays the role of an observer stirring up trouble for her own entertainment.

As the two of them watched Quasar and Captain Marvel's fight from atop one of the mountains nearby, the other Neptune had some things to say regarding the match.

Neptune (Ultra Dimension): Wow. Those two appear to be evenly matched.

Croire: Heh! You damn right there are, but that's only because neither of them are takin' this fight seriously. Not yet anyway.

Neptune looked at the tiny girl with a slightly raised eyebrow.

Neptune (Ultra Dimension): You really think so, Crostie?

Croire said nothing in response to Neptune's question and simply gave her a confident smirk, suggesting that she was correct in her observation.

Back on the battlefield, Quasar appeared to still be holding onto Captain Marvel's wrist before he started to smile at the blonde superheroine.

Captain Marvel: I'm impressed, kid. Your reflexes are surprisingly sharp.

Quasar gave a light-hearted chuckle as he accepted Carol's complement.

Quasar: Heh heh! Well, thanks.

Carol smiled back at Quasar when he finally let go of her right arm as they both stepped away from each other.

Then, after a couple of seconds of silence, a translucent, white-colored fiery aura quickly surrounded Quasar's entire body as he started dashing himself towards Captain Marvel at full speed, with him even breaking a small portion of the ground beneath his feet both after the took off and as he made his way over to his opponent. Upon getting up close, Quasar quickly threw a punch aimed straight for Captain Marvel's face, only to have the female Avenger quickly catch the incoming attack with her left hand, as strong gusts of wind blew right past her head as Quasar threw his punch.

Unfortunately for Carol, the force of the attack was so strong that it actually managed to push her back by a couple of meters. Then, as soon as she finished sliding across the ground, Quasar rushed straight towards Captain Marvel for the second time in a row and then proceeded to throw a barrage of fast-moving punches and kicks, forcing the femme fatale to go on the defensive. Eventually, Quasar managed to suddenly teleport right behind his opponent and strike her with a powerful kick to his back, which actually sent Captain Marvel flying forward by at least a few meters.

Carol instantly recovered from the attack to see Quasar running in a circle around her, before he then started jumping onto the side of a nearby mountain, with him even jumping off said mountain towards Captain Marvel in an attempt to try and attack her again. Finally deciding to go on the offensive, Carol flew straight towards the Saiyan and struck him in the abdomen with a powerful punch to the gut, with Quasar actually being sent flying and crashing through multiple mountains at break-neck speeds.

Wasting no time at all, Captain Marvel flew straight after Quasar, with her eventually arriving right in front of the still soaring Saiyan warrior as she then unleashed her own fast combo of punches and kicks onto Quasar, forcing him to block the attacks using his arms. Unfortunately for Quasar, this strategy of protecting himself from Carol's fast and powerful attacks proved to be inefficient as she managed to knock down to the ground with a double axe handle punch.

Captain Marvel: You're outmatched! Give it up!

Shortly after he landed on the ground using his feet, Quasar took another fighting stance and then rushed straight at Captain Marvel at break-neck speeds. As soon as got close enough to his opponent, Quasar punched Carol in the face two times, following the combo up with a strong uppercut. He then knocked Captain Marvel flying away with a strong kick to the stomach and then finished it off with a powerful shockwave released from his right hand, inflicting a huge amount of damage onto his opponent.

Quasar then teleported over the still airborne Captain Marvel using his Instant Transmission technique before suddenly appearing right in front of the superheroine and then performing a powerful knee strike, followed by a left-legged side kick, and then finally ending the combo with a right-legged roundhouse kick that Carol flying backwards, with an enormous amount of damage inflicted onto her body. Shortly after she recovered from Quasar's previous attacks, the female Avenger quickly rushed towards the Saiyan and immediately attacked him with an uppercut, followed by a downward punch, before finishing the combo off by kicking him straight in the chin, sending him flying back toward the ground beneath them.

The Saiyan from Gamindustri quickly recovered from Captain Marvel's last few attacks, and then the two warriors began clashing with one another at super-fast speeds across the entire wasteland, with their attacks being so fast that it was practically impossible for anyone to see with the naked eye. Captain Marvel and Quasar's punches and kicks were nothing but mere unregistrable blurs as they both struck and blocked each other's hits with absolute proficiency. Eventually, Quasar was able to finally strike Captain Marvel with a single blow, sending her flying backwards for the umpteenth time. Not wanting to let this opportunity slip by him, Quasar proceeded to leap forward off of two mountains and then knocked Carol away with a strong roundhouse kick, which sent her back towards the ground. Luckily for Captain Marvel, she managed to barely stop herself in mid-air before she crashed into a nearby mountain.

As soon as she witnessed Quasar landing back on the ground, Carol immediately went on the offensive and charged straight at Quasar at blistering speeds, elbowing the Saiyan right in the face and sending him flying backwards, with the blonde warrior chasing after him. Having been sent flying by Carol's last attack, Quasar was able to regain his composure in midair and land on both of his feet. He then saw Captain Marvel appearing right behind him and quickly moved his head out the way of an incoming attack before he started throwing a flurry of punches at Carol, who successfully managed to dodge the attacks coming her way. It was then that the two warriors had begun to throw fast-moving punches at each other with neither one of their attacks managing to connect. Eventually, Quasar tried attacking Captain Marvel with a kick, but the superheroine managed to grab onto his left leg and then threw him towards a nearby mountain.

After being sent flying by Captain Marvel, Quasar was able to once again regain his composure and land on the side of the mountain, but not before he quickly rushed towards Carol with the hopes of kicking her again. Just before his attack could connect, Carol quickly vanished into thin air, leaving the young Saiyan puzzled as his navy-blue boots skidded across the ground and he started looking around trying to find his opponent.

Just as Quasar continued looking around trying to find Carol Danvers, the ground beneath him suddenly started shaking as a small wave of dirt and grass was headed straight over to his location at a surprisingly fast pace. It was then where Uranus' spirit suddenly appeared right beside Quasar trying to tell him something important.

Uranus: Watch out! She's coming to strike you from below!

Upon hearing this from his ethereal friend, Quasar looked down at the ground and immediately jumped into the air, with Captain Marvel soon coming out of the ground and then punching Quasar straight in the face with a right hook, which sent him crashing into the ground beneath them. After knocking her opponent to the ground, Carol tried to attack the Saiyan with yet another punch, but Quasar managed to quickly roll out the way and counterattack by kicking her in the stomach, thus sending her flying backward by a couple of inches. Quasar then ran straight towards Captain Marvel and tried to go in for another kick, but the female warrior quickly moved out of the way and avoided the Saiyan's attack as he created a small crater in the ground from having missed his intended target.

After narrowly avoiding getting hit, Captain Marvel got back onto her feet and started sprinting for a minute before she began flying towards a tall mountain with Quasar right behind her as he started giving chase to the blonde woman in the navy-blue suit. As soon as she got close enough to the mountain, Captain Marvel quickly placed her hand on the trunk of a tree that was standing right beside the mountain, which succeeded in helping her swing around the tree as she then kicked the unsuspecting Quasar up into the air, with him even flying backwards as he also appeared to be upside down. Then, without so much as skipping a single beat, Carol flew right past Quasar and headed straight to the top of the mountain, as she then spun her body around at an incredibly fast pace, making her almost appear like a miniature tornado. Using this to her advantage, Captain Marvel successfully kicked the still airborne Quasar incredibly hard as he started falling out of the sky with him heading straight for a nearby lake.

Right before his body made contact with the large body of water, Quasar managed to quickly recover from the previous attack and then flip himself over as he began levitating over the lake, causing a large amount to float upwards behind the Saiyan. Wasting no time, Quasar powered up once again and took flight as he rushed over to Captain Marvel, hoping to continue on with the fight. As soon as he got close to his opponent, the two of them started trading blows once again with one another until Carol managed to successfully land a solid hit on Quasar as she punched the young Saiyan in the face, which forced him to back away from the blonde superheroine and land back on the ground with Captain Marvel doing the same as she landed a couple of feet away from him.

Shortly after landing back onto the ground, Quasar glared at Captain Marvel and immediately started rubbing his right cheek using his hand to not only numb the pain he was feeling, but to also wipe away the blood that appeared to be dripping out of his mouth.

Quasar: Tch! Ow...! That really stung.

Captain Marvel: Not bad, kid. I can see that you're no amateur when it comes to fighting. Looks like I might have to take this battle a bit more seriously.

After Quasar had finished wiping the blood from his mouth, he continued staring at Captain Marvel with a serious look on his face.

Quasar: (Dammit! She's a lot stronger than I thought she'd be. Guess I'm gonna have to ramp things up a bit.)

Captain Marvel: So, tell me. Is that really all you can do? I was hoping for a more interesting challenge.

Upon hearing this, Quasar started smirking at the female Avenger, which made her raise an eyebrow at the sudden change in attitude.

Captain Marvel: Hmm?

Quasar: You wanna see what I can do? Fine then!

As soon as he finished speaking, Quasar started clenching both of his hands incredibly tight, making them into fists as he began to power up. Then, right as he was beginning to power up, his muscles started bulging out a bit and a few sparks of pinkish-red colored electricity started appearing around his body, which confused Carol as she was unsure of what was happening. Just when she was about to say something, Quasar started to talk once again as he uttered out a single word which almost threw Captain Marvel for a loop.

Quasar: Kaio-Ken!!!

Upon saying the word "Kaio-Ken" out loud, Quasar was then completely surrounded by a rather intense, crimson-red fiery aura, which in turn, caused his skin tone to become a bright, salmon-pink color, as well as giving his standard blue-colored clothes a dark-reddish tint to them. The power of the aura was so great that it actually bristled his hair upwards, giving it an overall flame-like shape to it.

Carol looked on in shock as she had not expected something like this to happen. Then, right before she could even say a word, Quasar instantly rushed over to her and delivered an extremely strong punch to the face, which he quickly followed up with a powerful kick that managed to send her flying right into the air, with Quasar immediately chasing after her at such an incredible level of speed. Upon reaching the female Avenger, Quasar started kicking her back even further and then proceeded to fire a single energy blast at his opponent, with the attack successfully managing to blast Carol Danvers away, which nearly caused her to crash into the side of a mountain.

Captain Marvel: What the hell just happened? For just a split second, his speed and power skyrocketed!

As soon as Quasar landed back onto the ground, both he and Captain Marvel rushed straight at each other again with them inevitably clashing once more and throwing fast-moving punches and kicks, as their blows appear to be producing shockwaves that resonated across the wasteland. Then, after a bit of back and forth, Quasar and Carol backed away from one another as they stood apart from each other for the fourth time in a row.

Shortly after the two fighters separated from each other, Captain Marvel suddenly started powering up and then fired another one of her Photon Blasts from her right hand, which flew straight at Quasar before he was able to successfully jump right into the air to avoid the incoming attack. After narrowly escaping Captain Marvel's attack, which actually managed to leave a massive crater in the ground, Quasar appeared right behind Carol and attempted to strike her with a left kick, but the superheroine was able to successfully dodged the incoming attack. Upon landing right behind his opponent after missing his chance to strike, Captain Marvel turned around and tried attacking Quasar from behind using a karate chop, but the Saiyan quickly vanished into thin air before her attack could even connect.

Then, immediately after he reappeared behind Captain Marvel, the two warriors began exchanging fast-moving punches and kicks with each other once again, with neither one of them getting a solid hit in. After clashing for a little bit, Quasar was able to successfully land a hit on Captain Marvel as he kicked in the chest which sent her flying backwards, while also forcing her to grip onto the right side of her stomach using her right arm as it showed that she was in pain. Captain Marvel then started levitating above a massive lake before suddenly disappearing underneath the water itself.

Quasar then ran over to the edge of the hill and stared directly at the lake as he tried to locate Captain Marvel, who he had just witnessed going beneath the water after being sent there by one of his last hits. After a bit of silence, the lake started bubbling over as water suddenly began rising up out of nowhere as Captain Marvel blasted herself out of the water and then flew all the way up into the air, which prompted Quasar to do the same as he narrowly avoided getting swept away from the tidal wave that Carol inadvertently caused.

As Quasar flew straight after Captain Marvel, he quickly powered up with the same crimson-red aura surrounding his body, signifying that he was utilizing Kaio-Ken once more to increase his overall strength and speed to match up with Carol's. After he finished powering up, Quasar started curling his fingers and then placed both of his hands together at chest level, with them actually facing the same direction (so that the palm of one hand is on the back of the other).

Quasar: Here we go! Galick Gun... FIRE!!!

Then, as soon as he finished gathering enough ki, Quasar quickly thrusts both hands forward to fire a powerful blast of energy straight at Captain Marvel, with the result of the attack being an extremely powerful and huge, fuchsia/purplish-red colored ki beam that emanated from both his hands and body.

Upon seeing the purple-colored energy beam right behind her, Captain Marvel quickly re-orientated herself and then successfully deflected the Galick Gun with her left hand, sending the blast hurling towards the ground at an incredible velocity, which also ended up destroying an entire mountain in the process and causing a large-scale explosion to the surrounding area. Just then, Quasar was able to use the distraction he had caused to appear right behind Captain Marvel when she wasn't looking and give her a strong elbow strike to the back, causing her to scream out in pain. Furious at how he was able to catch her off-guard, Carol gritted her teeth and then socked Quasar clean in the face as she struck him with a powerful uppercut, before immediately following it up with a strong double axe handle, which sent the young Saiyan plummeting to the ground below.

Right before his body made contact with the ground beneath him, Quasar was able to successfully regain his composure and then performed a couple of backflips before safely landing back onto the ground, with the crimson-red aura surrounding his body vanishing into thin air as he was no longer utilizing the Kaio-Ken technique. Then, as soon as he saw Carol landing on the ground a couple of feet away from him, Quasar began bringing his arms to the side and started to charge up ki for his next attack. After a few seconds passed, Quasar quickly threw both of his hands forward and started firing a barrage of fast-moving, whitish-blue colored energy blasts directly at Captain Marvel.

As soon as she saw the energy wave volley closing in on her, Carol started using her enhanced speed and agility (courtesy of her Kree genetics and experience in combat) to quickly start evading all of the ki blasts as they began making small explosions right behind her. Then, shortly after Captain Marvel made her way through Quasar's barrage of energy blasts, she immediately dashed over to where he was standing and delivered a strong punch to the face, which managed to knock him off balance. Then, the half-Kree superheroine quickly followed it up by unleashing a large flurry of punches and kicks onto Quasar as she continuously circled around the still dazed Saiyan warrior, with her moving so fast that there were even a few after-images trailing right behind her. Eventually, Carol decided to end the onslaught of attacks by uppercutting Quasar right in the chin, which sent the young Saiyan flying several feet backwards as he ended crashing into the side of another nearby mountain.

Despite the pain he was currently feeling, Quasar could not find it in himself to give up so easily. Then, after letting out a loud yell, Quasar started powering up with the same translucent, white-colored aura surrounding his entire body as he quickly detached himself from the large, human-sized crater in the mountain and then immediately flying back over to the exact same area where Captain Marvel had sent him flying earlier in the fight.

Carol simply watched as she witnessed Quasar returning to the battlefield and then landing a couple of feet apart from where she was currently standing, with the Saiyan immediately losing the white-colored aura surrounding him as the energy quickly dispersed into the air. Then, after a couple seconds of mere silence, both Carol and Quasar started to smirk at each other before one of them decided to speak up once again.

Captain Marvel: You're much stronger than I thought, Quasar.

Quasar: Heh! Thanks, Carol. You're not too bad a fighter yourself.

Upon hearing this comment, the expression on Captain Marvel's face swiftly changed from a smirk to a serious glare as she couldn't help but feel a bit insulted by his nonchalant, yet overconfident demeanor.

Captain Marvel: While I appreciate the compliment, I can't help but feel as if you're somehow holding out on me.

The blonde woman's words left Quasar completely shocked as he looked at Carol with a confused expression on his face.

Quasar: Huh?

Captain Marvel: Oh c'mon, don't give me that look! I've been in a lot of tough battles before to know when someone's holding back their true strength. So, what's the deal? Why aren't you taking this fight seriously?

Quasar blinked twice after hearing Carol's question before he started laughing nervously and scratching the back of his head using his right hand.

Quasar: Ahahaha... Yeah, about that. Uhh... How do I put this? You see, I don't like to go all-out in a fight unless I absolutely have to. So what I'm doing is just me "testing the waters" if that makes any sense. I try to gauge how strong I can be against my opponent, while at the same time trying to figure out how strong the person I'm fighting is just by relying on my own strength. Plus, if I went all-out before getting a chance to see what you could do, then that would just be all types of boring, don't you think?

As soon as she heard these words coming out of Quasar's mouth, Carol's serious face quickly faded away as it was replaced with a smile before she suddenly started laughing out loud.

Captain Marvel: Pfft! ... Hehehehehe... Hahahahaha... Ahahahahaha!!! Man, you really kill me, you know that?! So what you're saying is that you've been purposely holding back so that way you could gauge how strong I am in comparison to you, is that it?

Quasar smirked at Carol before immediately answering her question.

Quasar: Hmph! That's right.

Upon receiving the answer to her own question, Captain Marvel stared directly at Quasar with a look of vigor and determination as she clenched both of her fists together and then started cracking her knuckles right in front of the Saiyan.

Captain Marvel: Okay, Quasar. If that's how it is, then what do you say we finally start fighting for real? After all, I think we both can agree that what we just did was little more than a warm-up.

Quasar: Yeah...

Elsewhere, Adult Neptune and Croire were continuing to observe the confrontation between Quasar and Captain Marvel as they both overheard the two warriors deciding to finally skip their little warm-up and go right onto the main event.

Croire: Heh heh heh! Now this is what I'm talking about.

Neptune (Ultra Dimension): I'll say. Those two are finally gonna start fighting for real. But do you think Quasar has a chance to win?

Croire placed both of her tiny arms behind her hand and simply said nothing to her lilac-haired companion.

Meanwhile, on the battlefield, Quasar and Captain Marvel continued to stare at each other as a strong gust of wind began to blow all throughout the wasteland. Then, after a few seconds had passed, Quasar just smirked at the female Avenger before he started doing something completely unexpected.

Quasar: Alright, Carol. Since you want to use my full power, I think it's time for me to get serious!

Then, as soon as he had finished his sentence, Quasar once again started clenching his fists incredibly tight as he began powering up with his white-colored aura becoming visible once again for Captain Marvel to see with her own eyes. The female superhero was about to say something, but she ultimately couldn't even get a single word out as she suddenly felt a rather large surge of energy radiating off the body of the young Saiyan warrior.

Captain Marvel: (What the hell...? What's going on?!)

It was then where the translucent, silver-white aura flowing around Quasar started changing to a bright, golden-yellow color as sparks of bluish-white colored electricity suddenly started dancing around the Saiyan's body, which was a clear indicator of Quasar's ever-increasing power. Just then, Quasar started bellowing out a loud yell which quickly transitioned into an intense roaring sound as he proceeded to power up once more.

Quasar: Haaaaaaaaaaaa!!! RRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!

Then, as soon as he finished powering up to his absolute maximum, a bright flash of golden-colored light suddenly erupted out of Quasar's body as his transformation into a Super Saiyan was finally complete, leaving Carol utterly speechless as she had never truly witnessed such a transformation before in her entire life, nor the incredible amount of power that came with it.

As a Super Saiyan, Quasar's jet-black hair has now become a shiny, golden-blonde color, his peach-colored skin now has a much lighter complexion to it, and his hair had become a bit more spiky/upturned and stood upwards with no loose strands, giving it a rising, flame-like appearance. Additionally, his french sky-blue eyes had now become a solid, turquoise/bluish-green color with no visible pupils, and his overall facial expression became a bit more aggressive, with his eyes gaining sharpened corners. Lastly, his power was so great that he was completely enveloped in a bright, golden-yellow colored aura which also seemed to be flowing upwards like an intense flame.

Upon completing his transformation, Quasar looked at Captain Marvel with a confident smirk on his face before he started talking to his opponent again.

Quasar (Super Saiyan): I gotta say, Carol. I didn't realize it was gonna be THAT kind of fight.

Carol was completely taken aback by Quasar's Super Saiyan form as she could not believe that he was holding back so much of his power earlier on in the fight. But despite this, she continued looking on in amazement at the sight of Quasar's golden-haired form, as the amount of energy radiating off the Saiyan's body was surprisingly high, and she could not help but smirk at her transformed opponent before she got into a fighting stance.

Narrator: "The practice rounds have now reached its climax, and Quasar is now ready to showcase his true power as a Super Saiyan! It looks as though Carol Danvers might have bitten off more than she can chew as the deep strength hidden deep inside our Saiyan hero has risen all the way to the top!"

Captain Marvel: So, this is only a taste of what you can really do, am I right?

Quasar smirked at Carol before he answered her question.

Quasar (Super Saiyan): Uh-huh. I have a lot more power than you could ever imagine. Now, get ready!

As soon as he finished talking, Quasar growled a little bit as his golden-colored aura started getting a bit larger, which was a clear indicator of how much energy the young Super Saiyan was letting out of his body. Then, after he stopped powering up, Quasar let out another yell which was brimming with vigor and determination as he rushed towards Captain Marvel at an incredible level of speed, with him even breaking the ground beneath him after the initial take off, as well as how fast he was traveling.

Narrator: "Who will reign victorious in this ultimate match? Will it be the strong, yet beautiful Captain Marvel? Or will it be the tenacious Super Saiyan Quasar? Let the second round begin! Next time on Hyperdimension Neptunia Super!!!"
