Quasar Kaze (クエーサー風, Kuēsā-fū) is the protagonist of the Hyperdimension Neptunia Z and Hyperdimension Neptunia Super fanfiction series. He is the youngest son of Oliver Kaze and Julia Kaze, the younger brother of Twilight Kaze, the best friend to Neptune, and the boyfriend of Nepgear.

He is a young Saiyan who was sent to a Parallel World called Gamindustri in the Hyper Dimension as an infant by his mother and father, so that he could live a very peaceful existence. However, as time progressed and as his new home was in danger, he would muster up the strength and courage in order to protect those he loved. He constantly strives and trains to become the greatest warrior possible, which has kept the likes of Earth, Gamindustri, and the entire multiverse safe from destruction many times.

Always eager to learn and grow even stronger, Quasar continues to train and fight alongside his friends and family to protect Gamindustri and the multiverse from all sorts of dangerous adversities.

The Character's Appearance

General Appearance:

According to King Ace, Histoire, Uranus, and Twilight Kaze, Quasar is the splitting-image of his father, Oliver Kaze, as he possesses the same spiky black hair, french sky-blue colored eyes with black visible pupils, and facial features. However, he has softer eyes, a kind and gentle demeanor, and a pale-peach skin complexion from his mother, Julia Kaze. Quasar's hairstyle is described as being "very messy and unorganized" by Noire, meaning he possesses jet-black, spiky bedstyle hair (Beat's hairstyle from Dragon Ball Heroes). Quasar was also born with the signature tail of the Universe 7 Saiyans, which is long and prehensile with brown fur. He usually either leaves his tail hanging out freely, or he will simply wrap it around his waist like some kind of belt. Additionally, in the center of his chest lies a periwinkle-blue colored diamond with a white power symbol on it.

Due to him possessing some of the abilities that a Goddess would have, his aging has drastically slowed down (to some degree). By the age of seventeen, he is roughly around the same height as Noire, if not slightly taller (possibly because of his hair) and he has developed a well-built physique for someone of his age. He is also considered to be quite handsome, as noted by Nepgear, Blanc and Vert of the Ultra Dimension, Julia, and even Iris Heart.

His physical traits make him almost indistinguishable by everyone in his inner circle, with his signature happy-go-lucky personality and his "trademark" spiky hairstyle.

Combat Outfits:

Due to his love/addiction for training and fighting (most likely due to his Saiyan heritage), he is usually seen wearing a martial arts uniform.

His first/standard outfit is similar to that of Goku's Gi from Dragon Ball Super: Broly, which mostly consists of a cobalt-blue colored gi, a white short-sleeved undershirt with a midnight black obi belt, crimson-red wristbands, and dark navy-blue colored boots with white accents, vermillion-red laces, and beige/light-tan soles at the bottom of his boots. As an added bonus, his gi also has the Planeptune logo on the back and front-left side of his shirt.

During his time training on Planet Yardrat for a whole year, Quasar wore traditional Yardratian clothing, much like the type that was given to when he trained on for a year.

His second outfit is essentially an updated gi that was made and given to him by Plutia and Neptune as a present during the events of the Victory Saga. The design of this outfit resembled that of Goku's Gi during the 28th World Martial Arts Tournament in the Peaceful World Saga and Dragon Ball GT, which consists of a turquoise/blue-green gi, with a white knot-style obi, scarlet-red wristbands, matching teal/blue-green pants, and black kung fu shoes with white soles and white stockings. After the events of Kid Buu Saga, Quasar went back to wearing his regular gi, though he still keeps the gi that Neptune and Plutia gave to him in his closet.

During the early part of his training under in Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F' and during the events of the Universe 6 Saga, Quasar wore an egyptian-blue traditional and loose gi that was secured together with a black obi tied in a knot at the left of his waist. He also wore black wristbands that cover nearly his entire forearms and dark gray boots that clasp together on the front of his shins. It was later given, without Quasar realizing it, Whis' kanji on the front-left of his shirt. After the Tournament of Destroyers, Quasar returned to wearing his regular gi again.

His third outfit is something that he wears during the events of Megadimension Neptunia VII and the Chaos Saga, consisting of a waist-length, cobalt-blue sleeveless vest secured at the lower half by his black belt and wrapped tail. Underneath the vest, Quasar wears a charcoal black short-sleeved combat shirt. He also dons a pair of royal-blue fingerless gloves, matching blue boots with black stubs at the toes and dark gray soles, a white lower gi half, and a long scarlet-red sash hanging on the left.

In the Tournament of Power Saga, Dragon Ball Super: Broly, and the Lost Goddess Saga, Quasar wore a plainer version of his regular gi that lacks the Planeptune symbol and features a black sash-style obi over his waist, as well as the same white undershirt, black wristbands, and black boots from his previous gi.

Non-Combat/Casual Outfits:

Even though he is usually seen as his gi, Quasar is not without any other types of wardrobes that he wears during times of peace, such as gray jeans with a blue short-sleeved hoodie, a black tank top underneath, black sneakers and black wristbands.

His other set of clothing consists of a slate blue/black zip-up jacket, dark gray pants, bandages around both his arms, and black Dare sneakers with white straps, dark gray soles and yellow Puma tags.

As a farmer, his outfit mainly consists of a light blue collared denim sleeveless jacket with a white scarf around his neck and a charcoal gray short sleeved undershirt, light blue pants with a black belt around his waist, black fingerless gloves, and black boots.

Hard Drive Divinity (HDD) Forms:

Azure Heart:

As Azure Heart, his hair stays relatively the same, except it is now an electric blue color. He also has bright blue eyes with white pupils in the shape of power signs. His outfit also changes to a black bodysuit with black gloves and boots; these are accented in bright sky-blue bands with silver trimming. In addition to that, the Share Crystal at the center of his chest glows a bright blue color, which is a strong indicator of his power.

NEXT Azure:

Being a form that pushes beyond his normal Hard Drive Divinity Form (HDD Form), this transformation looks visually similar to its predecessor, except for a few noticeable differences. His hair and eyes take on a darker coloring of royal-blue as well as growing bigger and spiking outwards like the Super Saiyan 2 transformation. Quasar also slims down in the same way Super Saiyan God does, and his gem glows a dark blue color.

About the Character

Personality:

"I'm not the type to merely look back. I don't have any regrets either. It's because time doesn't wait for me. I'm gonna choose to look towards the future and get even stronger."

Some of the words that best describe Quasar's personality are kind, friendly, laid-back, confident, funny, and passionate. He is a very energetic and optimistic boy with a heart of gold and a caring personality, which are traits that he inherited from both his mother and father, Julia and Oliver Kaze. Additionally, he was also taught to be respectful to others by the likes of Histoire. Originally, when he was an infant Saiyan, Quasar was actually very timid, as he would "sometimes" constantly cry for attention. Thankfully, as he grew older, those traits no longer hold any bearing on his core personality.

He is well-noted for his love of any food (with Chili Dogs being his #1 favorite food), even by Saiyan standards, which can be comical at times. Like most Saiyans, Quasar loves combat and to challenge strong opponents. As such, Quasar rarely shows nervousness or fear whenever he is fighting. While not arrogant in his abilities (especially compared to others like Reiko, Noire, etc.), Quasar has a tendency to be too relaxed and recklessly challenge anyone he views as strong to a fight. Despite his fighting spirit, he is at heart a pacifist as he often spares his enemies, trying to avoid hurting or even killing people if possible and never using more strength than necessary.

Quasar is pure of heart, possessing no negative feelings or thoughts. He is highly loyal to his friends and family, even willing to sacrifice himself to save others as he did against the Deity of Sin. He is a man of his word, committed to keeping his promise no matter what. He has a very practical and carefree view of life and his goals are very simple; he only seeks new adventures and challenges like testing his limits as a warrior, as well as protecting those he cares about at any cost. He has no interest in luxury or high-ranking positions as he rejected Histoire's offer to become the next CPU for Planeptune or Whis' offer to become the next God of Destruction, though it could mainly be due to his morality making him unsuitable for it. At the same time, he shows such unwavering will and tenacity to succeed, always determined to never give up against any adversity.

It was once stated by both Histoire and his father Oliver, that Quasar's strength is not due to natural talent, but to his courage that allows him to boldly face whoever challenges him, no matter how much of a genius they are or whatever disadvantages they may throw at him. Quasar is not afraid to admit that his opponent is better than him at that moment and that he is not perfect, but he refuses to give up. As such he is not afraid to examine his own deficiencies, and is even eager to learn whatever he needs to in order to overcome them. Quasar's lifelong goal is to become a better fighter to protect those closest to him, and thus will fight to the very end to achieve that goal. He will plunge head first into trial and error until he gets to the end results that he displays in his battles, spending days or even weeks exhausting every possible option until he finds the best one. Even in defeat, Quasar takes it as a sign that there is still much more for him to learn.

Quasar has been noted several times to have a special effect on people. His genuine compassion for others and love of life in its most simple nature is capable of inspiring them to change somewhat for the better, even causing several of his enemies to become his allies. He convinced the amoral and self-absorbed God of Destruction that Earth and Gamindustri was worth keeping around. He made the reserved assassin and Ingram Pürija smile in genuine happiness, viewing Quasar as an equal. He piqued the interest and became a friend of , the most powerful being in the multiverse, due to his "somewhat" similar childlike, innocent personality. He made the immensely independent and Necro acknowledge Quasar's view of companionship and sought to learn from Quasar's example. He even made the spiteful and sadistically greedy Frieza, as well as the overly confident Perfect Cell come to truly respect Quasar despite their long-standing hatred of the young Saiyan after their brief alliance.

His simple nature often comes off as naïve, which often makes many incorrectly assume him to be somewhat stupid. Despite this, Quasar is remarkably effective at applying himself once properly motivated, able to quickly comprehend the situation and likewise learn the basics of anything presented to him, if not master it. When taking a firsthand experience, Quasar is shown to be incredibly perceptive and intuitive, quickly able to analyze the situation and formulate an effective countermeasure. Very methodical and tactical in his approach, he even saw through the limits of higher grades of Super Saiyan and chose to instead refine his normal Super Saiyan and Hard Drive Divinity forms, impressing even his rival Reiko, and even the other CPUs at the crafty and innovative idea. Quasar is also quite knowledgeable about anything in relation to video games, anime, manga, and any sub-cultural pastimes. Also, Quasar is something of a nature lover, as he prefers to be outdoors than indoors and take the time to smell the flowers and enjoy life.

He has a remarkable intuition to see the good in others in spite of their actions, though his compassion and willingness to forgive can have often been criticized as excessive even to a fault and has led to harm to those he cares about in extreme occasions. At the same time, for all his morally driven nature, Quasar can show animosity towards those he believes have earned it, such as CFW Magic, Twilight Kaze, and Rei Ryghts (presumably) for nearly killing those he holds dear to him respectively, a trait he seemed to inherit from his father Oliver. Overall, Quasar only kills his enemies when he feels it is necessary or if they are beyond redemption. While viewed by many as a very honorable young man of heroic nature, he openly never actually considers himself a savior, but rather simply refuses to let innocent people or animals get hurt, as Histoire taught him. He openly prefers to reform enemies on the grounds that it will be more exciting to clash with them in the future that way, as well as for them to live a life full of peace and serenity. Ultimately, this is one of his greatest drives in life, constantly pushing him beyond his limits. Whenever his friends are threatened or harmed, Quasar abandons nearly all mercy for the foe, as the mortal-wound to all his friends and the "botched" death of Nepgear (though he didn't know that) against Twilight allowed Quasar to unleash his newly acquired powers on his adoptive sister. This is also seen when Necro tried to kill all of Quasar's friends or when Quasar Black told Quasar that after he stole his body and killed him, he killed Nepgear and their unborn children without any remorse, Quasar fiercely attacked his opponents in a blind rage.

He is however not without fear. Quasar is shown to be submissive to overbearing women like Uni, Histoire, Julia, and even Iris Heart, even to the point of Rain or his father, Oliver jokingly declaring that for all his universal-class might, he is terrified of girls who are upset. He is not beyond feeling sorrow, most noticeably seen from the loss of his mother and father when he was 4 years old. He also shows genuine concern for the well-being of those close to him. When Nepgear seemingly died against Twilight, Quasar frantically rushed to her aid, desperate to save his "girlfriend" and when he initially thought that she died, it pushed him into becoming a Super Saiyan for the first time.

While considering himself as a CPU, as well as a Saiyan, in battle, he tends to think more like a typical Universe 7 Saiyan. Once a fight begins, he desires to see it through to the end to truly determine who is the winner. He is also dissatisfied when his foes do not use their full might. While valuing his friends' loyalty and willingness to accept help when the need comes, he prefers to face his challenges solo, determined to prove his might against the given foe. He openly showed dislike at originally acquiring the Super Saiyan God form through the aid of others rather than by his own merit. At the same time, he admits that the true growth of his being came from the support and connection he gained from others.

People often admire his optimistic outlook and confidence. He never gives up or backs down when the going gets tough and he makes sure to see his objective through to the very end. Following his free-spirited nature, Quasar never dwells on the past or allows his painful experiences to weigh him down. Instead, he lives in the present and always looks forward to his next adventure, holding no regrets for what has transpired. It is only in the moments of greatest loss that his macho and carefree appearance falls away. Quasar is also of incredibly strong character and will: No matter the situation, he never doubts himself or gives up, never once submitting to the darkness in his heart.

Quasar also sees friends and family as the most valuable thing a person can have; as he believes no one should ever have to be alone, and tries to convince others who reject such concepts like friendship that it is something to be embraced.

Etymology:

The word "Quasar" is in reference to real-life quasars, which are massive and extremely remote celestial objects, which emit exceptionally large amounts of energy, and typically have a star-like image in a telescope.

The definition of his last name "Kaze" means "wind", "breeze", or "draft" in Japanese.

Relationships:

Neptune/Purple Heart:

She is Quasar's oldest and closest friend, to the point that the two can be considered surrogate brothers or sisters. Neptune is likewise considered Quasar's personal wingman and partner in their various adventures (with Quasar acting like Neptune's personal wingman and partner).

As the two are both free-spirited individuals, they tend to think in sync and get along quite well. Neptune often encourages Quasar to embrace his protagonist status at several points, with Quasar often doing so without fail. Due to both of them being part of the main cast, they have gone through a lot and are very great friends.

Nepgear/Purple Sister:

Nepgear is another one of Quasar's closest friends and she is also the girlfriend of the Saiyan. Even at an early age, Quasar could not deny that he found Nepgear to be "quite beautiful". Nepgear likewise shares similar feelings towards Quasar, with the CPU Candidate harboring a few more romantic feelings towards the Saiyan.

The two also care very much for each other's well-being and will not hesitate to not only give each other emotional support, but are also willing to not hesitate to make their safety their number one priority, regardless of the situation. Additionally, due to their feelings towards each other, Quasar and Nepgear eventually became romantic partners, with everyone, including Oliver, Julia, and even Neptune approving of their relationship.

Overall, Quasar cares about Nepgear a great deal, and he always appreciates her efforts to help him and the rest of his friends. Also, whenever Nepgear is in trouble, Quasar will naturally come to the aid of the Planeptune CPU Candidate should the need ever arise. Lastly, Quasar is impressed with Nepgear's work and considers her technical skills unparalleled, as well as his massive faith that Nepgear has the potential to surpass not only him, but her sister Neptune as well in terms of strength.

Noire/Black Heart:

Quasar has been shown to have a fairly decent relationship with Noire. It can easily be said that the two of them are good friends despite Noire's "tsundere" tendencies, and Quasar having to constantly point them out, blatantly to her face in a "somewhat" snarky manner. Quasar is often shown to be extremely friendly with Noire; always teasing her and giving her nicknames like "Tsundere Queen". Quasar "sometimes" likes to poke fun at Noire for being such a Tsundere or teasing her, much to her annoyance.

Despite all of his teasing, Quasar does in fact hold Noire in such a high regard, both as a CPU and as a friend, that he openly admits that she's like a "big sister" to him. Due to both of them being part of the main cast, they have gone through a lot and are good friends.

Blanc/White Heart:

Quasar considers Blanc, like the rest of the goddesses, to be a good friend of his. In Hyperdimension Neptunia Z: Victory, Quasar speaks highly of Blanc from his own dimension and says that he enjoys hanging out with her. He even admits that one of his favorite things to do with Blanc is reading various books (mostly Manga) with each other.

Due to both of them being part of the main cast, they have gone through a lot and became very good friends.

Vert/Green Heart:

Quasar considers Vert to be one of his good friends. He holds a generally high opinion of the Leanbox goddess and is also very aware of her sometimes-cunning ways. The two are both interested in games, anime, manga, and are more extroverted of the group.

To summarize, both Quasar and Vert are good friends who mutually cooperate with each other and have a great appreciation for many sub-cultural pastimes. Due to both of them being part of the main cast, they have gone through a lot and are pretty good friends.

Reiko Pürija:

Quasar's most unique relationship is with fellow Saiyan, Reiko Pürija. Their rivalry is mostly one-sided as Quasar is generally friendly towards Reiko and recognizes his abilities as a fighter, although Quasar does get competitive with Reiko as seen from learning that Reiko left without him to train under Whis. While Quasar and Reiko have trouble working together, due to their conflicting personalities and Reiko's continued desire to best Quasar, they both respect and motivate each other to grow stronger, ultimately becoming close and loyal friends outside their competitive nature.

Plutia/Iris Heart:

Much like his relationship with Neptune, Quasar has a very good relationship with Plutia and the two could even be considered best friends, alongside Neptune. She, Neptune, and Quasar possess similar personalities to an extent which enables them to get along very well. They are both "somewhat" lazy in similar but more or less different ways, as Quasar's upbeat and active personality completely contrasts Plutia's slow and extremely laid-back one.

In addition, Quasar's relationship with Iris Heart (Plutia in her HDD Form) is a rather interesting one, to say the least. Quasar tries his best not to invoke Iris Heart's wrath, nor does he want to be on the receiving end of her sadistic, masochistic personality. As such, whenever Iris Heart appears, Quasar tries to play the straight man, so that he doesn't get into trouble. Additionally, the two have a special kind of rivalry with each other. During the Victory Saga, Iris Heart was willing to give Quasar a CPU Memory, but she wanted something in exchange, which was a no-holds barred fight between the two of them, as she was extremely curious about Quasar's power, to which the young Saiyan accepted without hesitation.

Ever since then, Quasar and Iris Heart would acknowledge each other's strength and patiently wait for their next fight.

Metal Quasar:

Metal Quasar, as the name suggests, is Quasar's robotic doppelganger, created by Dr. Gero and Arfoire for the sole purpose of destroying him and his friends. He is one of Quasar's deadliest foes and his most serious rival, being able to copy both his speed and power. Both of them share a violent rivalry and enemy relationship with each other. On the other hand, Quasar has never really considered Metal Quasar his "enemy" in the true sense of the word.

Both Quasar and Metal Quasar have almost always fought whenever they meet, never once having an instance where their objectives align. In Quasar's opinion, Metal Quasar is one of the worst enemies for him to deal with, due to how it always causes trouble for him, and he views Metal Quasar as a very serious threat. Regardless, Quasar always remains confident that he can beat Metal Quasar and considers him a "lame robot copy" which can never match up to the original that is him. Still, this does not keep him from enjoying testing his skills against him. Over time, Quasar and Metal Quasar have had countless fights, with Sonic always managing to beat or tie with Metal Quasar in the end, although not without cutting it close on most occasions. However, these defeats have only increased Metal Quasar's hatred for his organic counterpart and endowed him with an obsession to surpass and defeat him, prompting him to repeatedly challenge Quasar in vain.

While Quasar has managed to defeat Metal Quasar time and time again, he rarely condemns his robot doppelganger for his villainous actions in the aftermath. Instead, he gets satisfaction from the challenge Metal Quasar provided him with and will promise his robot double that he will await their future rematches.

Power:

Quasar Kaze is arguably regarded as one of the strongest mortal warriors in the entire multiverse, not just within the boundaries of Universe 7 alongside other powerful individuals such as Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Piccolo, Frieza, Cell, and Broly, but this also extends to other skilled warriors from the world of Gamindustri including the CPUs (Console Patron Unit) like Neptune, Noire, Blanc, Vert, Uzume Tennouboshi, Nepgear, and Amber. And lastly, he is also comparable in power to characters like Reiko Pürija, Oliver Kaze, Ace, and Ingram Pürija.

A prodigy of combat, he learned a great deal while a young child and would continue to near-effortlessly learn practically any new technique he encountered. His natural talent for battle along with his unwavering drive have taken his power to unprecedented levels to the point of reaching and rivaling the domain of the Gods of Destruction. Ultimately, Quasar's immeasurable potential has made him believed to be incomparable and even unbeatable for any other fighter when he is at his absolute peak.

As an infant, Quasar was born with a power level of 2, largely due to the fact that he was born as a low-class Saiyan warrior. At three years old, when he transformed into a Great Ape, Quasar could easily level entire areas of forest and destroy huge mountains without any effort. It was even implied by Histoire that if Quasar was to look at the full moon, while inside Planeptune, he could destroy the entire city, and eventually even the other nations (Lastation, Lowee, and Leanbox). When he was 10 years old, Quasar's power, speed, and raw skill was on par with the four CPUs (Neptune, Noire, Blanc, and Vert) even while they were in their respective HDD forms, while they were merely training the young Saiyan.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2:

In the Mk2 Saga, during the three-year timeskip/training gap he underwent with IF and Compa in preparation for the plan to rescue the CPUs from the Gamindustri Graveyard, Quasar's power grew even higher, especially when he harnessed the power of the Share Crystal and transformed into his HDD form (Azure Heart) for the first time.

As time went on, as he traveled across Gamindustri in his mission to stop A.S.I.C. from reviving the Deity of Sin, Quasar grew stronger and stronger alongside his friends. It was even hinted by Mina, Kei, and Histoire that Quasar's potential might be so great, that he might eventually become the legendary "Super Saiyan" that they heard from his father Oliver back in the past. However, while Quasar's might as both a Saiyan and a CPU was extraordinary by normal standards, it was revealed that by even the Four Felons standards, Quasar's power pales in comparison. During his first encounter with his "adoptive" older sister Twilight, he was completely overwhelmed by her strength, and Twilight even considered herself an equal to CFW Magic in terms of power. It was only when he pushed his HDD form/powers to the limit, could Quasar land a solid blow on Twilight, who was only at 10% of her power, but even so, his attacks proved to be not effective enough to give Twilight any major damage. Upon his transformation into a Super Saiyan when he initially thought that Twilight killed Nepgear in cold blood, Quasar completely outmatched Twilight at 10% power, in a very passive-aggressive manner, forcing his opponent to fight a bit more seriously.

After training with the Oracles (Histoire, Kei Jinguji, Mina Nishizawa, and Chika Hakozaki) for a grand total of three days and three nights, Quasar's power increased to such a degree that he can now transform into a Super Saiyan at will, without the need of an emotional trigger to activate the transformation. During his encounter with Reiko in his Legendary Super Saiyan form, despite the one-sided beatdown everyone received from Reiko's berserker state, Quasar was the only one who was able to endure the assault long enough, but not before Reiko's little sister, Dawn appeared and calmed Reiko down so that Quasar could deliver the finishing blow, defeating Reiko and reverting him back into his base form. After training with all his friends for three weeks, Quasar, as a Super Saiyan, alongside the CPU Candidates, easily defeated CFW Judge. Then, after befriending Goku and the Z-Fighters from Universe 7, Super Saiyan Quasar, Reiko, Rain, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Trunks, and all the CPUs were able to keep up in combat with revived villains such as Frieza, Cooler, Turles, Lord Slug, Nappa, Raditz, and the Ginyu Force.

Later on, against the likes of Ace, he's able to keep up with the Frost Demon, despite him being in both his first and second forms. It was only after he got completely overwhelmed by Ace's third form that Quasar decided to go all-out and transformed into a Super Saiyan, which made Ace go into his Final form. Against Final Form Ace, Quasar fought on par with Ace. Quasar, even when he was seemingly drained of all his energy, managed to punch straight through Ace's Supernova attack, and even (albeit temporarily) knock Ace out cold in a single punch.

After additional training under Goku and the other Z-Fighters, as well as training alongside Neptune and Nepgear in the Hyperbolic Time Chamber for 1 year, Quasar was able to fully master the Super Saiyan transformation, so that it would have no stress on his body. With his newfound abilities, Quasar, alongside the rest of his friends, went on to single handedly defeat the resurrected foes, as well as the Four Felons. During the final battle against Twilight and the Deity of Sin, Quasar and Nepgear were able to defeat the two of them, despite the fact that it was a very intense fight, and that Quasar seemingly lost his life in the aftermath.

Other World Saga:

Upon his arrival in the Other World, meeting his parents for the first time, and acquiring the Perfect Core, Quasar, alongside Pikkon and Goku, managed to defeat the vast majority of foes down in hell such as Frieza, Cell, King Cold, etc. Later on, Quasar fought against the greatest warriors in the history of Universe 7 with countless millennia-worth of experience each where he reached the finals against Jade (Ingram Purija), seemingly the mightiest warrior who also had the power of the Perfect Core.

Seven years later, base Quasar could easily carry around 10 tons of weighted clothing for training and 70 tons as a Super Saiyan. During this time, he not only achieved Super Saiyan 2 and seemingly mastered it like he did with Super Saiyan, but also managed to access about 10% of the Perfect Core's power at his beck-n-call. One time, Quasar spent a whole year training on Planet Yardrat with Pybara and Soba in order to learn about Spirit Control from the Yardrats and with it, he learned how to apply it to use Instant Transmission.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory:

In the Victory Saga, upon his arrival in Ultra Dimension and meeting up with Neptune, Noire, and Plutia, Quasar demonstrated his Super Saiyan power to the goddesses, almost to the point of him shaking the entire planet, all while at less than half his might. Once he re-acquired his CPU powers and combined it with his Super Saiyan 2 form, he easily defeated the CPU Breaker by the Seven Sages in a single punch, the force of which was strong enough to change the weather all throughout Gamindustri from sunny skies to rainy weather, which lasted the whole day, although he was only holding back extremely bad.

During his trip to Lowee and against White Heart of Ultra Dimension, Super Saiyan 2 Quasar fought Blanc to a stand-still, eventually using the Perfect Core's power to secure him the victory, and despite the fact that he was weakened after the fight with Blanc, he alongside the other CPUs were able to defeat Mister Badd. During Quasar's fight with Rain as Super Saiyan 2's, the two appeared to be evenly matched, but not before Quasar gained the upper hand. It was even stated by Ace and Ingram that Quasar's power (excluding the Perfect Core) far exceeded Gohan and Nepgear's power when they defeated Super Perfect Cell seven years ago.

Later, when the CPU of Eden, Yellow Heart appeared, she completely decimated Quasar as a Super Saiyan. 10 years later (in the Ultra Dimension), base Quasar fought Yellow Heart to a stand-still, with Noire, Nepgear, Blanc, Plutia, and even Ace and Gwen shocked that he could fight without going Super Saiyan or HDD. Unfortunately, against the likes of Cyber Twilight and Rei Ryghts, Quasar would have to get serious as he and the rest of his friends fought with everything that had to save not only Hyper Dimension, but Ultra Dimension as well. During his final battle against Cyber Twilight, Super Saiyan 2 Quasar completely outmatched Twilight at 100% power, calmly dominating the foe once fighting seriously.

Majin Buu Saga:

In the Majin Buu Saga, when joining Shin and Dabura to defeat Babidi, base Quasar easily fended off Yakon, alongside Goku and Neptune, even void of sight from Yakon's pitch-black world. As Super Saiyan, Goku and Quasar were both noted to have 3,000 kili - power to destroy several planets. Quasar also agreed with Goku when he said that they can defeat Dabura, a foe who is the strongest in the Demon Realm, without too much difficulty. Vegeta and Reiko noted that Super Saiyan 2 Quasar (without the Perfect Core) surpassed Gohan and Nepgear's power when they defeated Super Perfect Cell.

With just transforming into a fully powered Super Saiyan 2, Quasar causes worldwide earthquakes with Tien worrying Quasar and Goku could destroy the planet by the sheer weight of their power. Against Buu and Rei Ryghts, despite the Majin's limitless resilience and the ex-goddess' unpredictable nature, Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Quasar could fight on par with and continuously pressure them. Ultimately, Quasar admitted to being holding back considerably as Super Saiyan 2's intensity was draining Quasar's time in the Living World and probably could have defeated the fat Majin and former CPU of Tari if he tried to.

Later on, Quasar manages to hold his own against (Gotenks and Roam absorption) as Super Saiyan 2. Later, Super Saiyan 2 Quasar fended off Kid Buu and Rei Ryghts for an extended period of time, even parting a mountain with his bare fists. Once using his full power, Quasar initially pressured the Majin and the Goddess until he began tiring against Buu's near-limitless healing. It was noted that the Perfect Core's power could wipe out the Majin and return Rei Ryghts back to normal. However, he had trouble gathering the necessary energy since his living body hadn't adapted to its power yet.

Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn:

In Fusion Reborn, Quasar made it to the finals of another Other World Tournament, where he fought on par against the likes of Goku and Pikkon. Later, base Goku, Quasar, and Neptune fended off Janemba's base form and swiftly obliterated the creature with a fully-powered Super Saiyan 2. Once Janemba reformed into a stronger form, Quasar held his own for a prolonged period before ultimately being defeated.

Dragon Ball Z: Wrath of the Dragon:

In Wrath of the Dragon, Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Quasar (w/the Perfect Core's power) were the only one who could dodge and withstand Hirudegarn's massive blows, to which Ultimate Gohan and Nepgear could not, before defeating the giant monster with their Dragon Fist.

Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!:

In Dragon Ball: Yo! Son Goku and His Friends Return!!, Goku and Quasar's simple demonstration of Super Saiyan caused Tarble's scooter to explode. When both Goku and Quasar were told that Abo and Kado were each equal to Frieza's power on Planet Namek, they were both upset, feeling it was too easy for him (albeit they were probably compared to Frieza's First Form). Once the evil duo fused into Aka and began causing massive damage to the area, Goku and Quasar as Super Saiyans easily repelled the fusion's ultimate attack with a Galick Kamehameha and then proceeded to defeat him with a single blow.

Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods:

In Battle of Gods, Beerus openly complimented Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Quasar, who punched through King Kai's planet despite its incredible density. However, he was still defeated by two playful flicks from Beerus, alongside Goku. Later, when achieving Super Saiyan God, Goku and Quasar's godly state at 80% fought on par with Beerus at using nearly 70% of his own power. After time ran out for his impromptu form, despite returning to base form, Quasar subconsciously absorbs the godly power, along with Goku, letting them continue using its power on top of Super Saiyan and even briefly return to his Super Saiyan God form without help. Ultimately, Quasar and Goku are left exhausted from stopping Beerus' Sphere of Destruction, leaving the two Saiyans unable to continue fighting and thus lost. But the battle pleased Beerus enough to spare both Earth and Gamindustri. Beerus also lies that Quasar and Goku are the second strongest he's ever faced, when he is actually the strongest.

Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection 'F':

In Resurrection 'F', Quasar's training mastered his godly power to use it fully without transforming as a God-like Saiyan. In this state, he becomes stronger than Fourth Form Frieza and Super Perfect Cell despite unlocking much of their true potential and fully mastering it. Going further, Quasar obtains Super Saiyan Blue, which despite Golden Frieza and Ultimate Evolution Cell's huge advantage in power, Quasar could hold off the two of them long enough to tire out the tyrant and the bio-android, regaining the advantage. Once the two villains were drained, Goku and Quasar soundly defeated their nemesis with limited effort. Whis, Ingram, and Histoire assert that should Goku and Vegeta, as well as Quasar and Reiko combine their might, they would be an "unstoppable force" that could definitely defeat the full power of Golden Frieza, Ultimate Evolution Cell and equal Beerus.

Universe 6 Saga:

During the Tournament of Destroyers, Quasar and Goku briefly struggled against Botamo's unusual body, forcing them to instead rely on strategy to defeat him and then went on to dominate Frost, who resorted to poisoning the Saiyans in an attempt to achieve victory. Against a much stronger Iris Heart, base Quasar and Goku held their own and began pressuring the two of them as they adapted to Hit's assault and Iris Heart's new dimensional powers. Quasar's Super Saiyan Blue overwhelmed the assassin and goddesses' full power. This forced Hit and Plutia to their battle prowess to counter the two Saiyans, which in turn drove Goku to use and which drove Quasar to use x10 Super Saiyan Blue: Azure Heart, allowing them to outmatch the assassin's improved Time-Skip and the goddesses' improved fighting style.

Megadimension Neptunia VII:

Zero Dimension Neptunia Z: Twilight of the Desperate CPU:

In the Zero Dimension Saga, Quasar was stated by Uranus to have gotten even stronger since the Tournament of Destroyers. He was able to keep up in combat with Uzume Tennouboshi, as a Super Saiyan, with Umio noting that Quasar's power might rival or even exceed that of a CPU. Later, he was able to completely overpower the Dark CPU in his Super Saiyan Blue form, even going so far as to stack his Hard Drive Divinity power on top of his Blue form.

Hyper Dimension Neptunia G: The Golden Leaders, Reconstructors of Gamindustri:

In the Gold Third Saga, Super Saiyan, HDD, or even base Quasar (Post-Zero Dimension Saga) was stated to have surpassed his Super Saiyan Blue form from the last arc. Quasar, alongside Neptune, Noire, Blanc, Vert, Reiko, Rain and Dawn were completely overwhelmed by Gold Third. During Neptune's story, Quasar became a lot stronger in such a short amount of time as noted by Histoire and Uranus. During Noire's story, base Quasar fought on par with a mysterious figure (Quasar Black), who previously one-shotted Super Saiyan Gwen and Uni in her HDD Form with absolutely no difficulty. By the time he and the others faced General Affimojas and he obtained his NEXT Form alongside Neptune, Noire, Blanc and Vert, his power skyrocketed to such a degree that he couldn't even fathom.

Heart Dimension Neptunia H: Finale Trilogy: Into Legend:

During the events of the Heart Dimension Saga, when meeting Quasar Black in Hyper Dimension, Super Saiyan 2 Quasar is able to fight on par with Black, gradually wearing down the evil doppelganger. While the fight ended prematurely, Quasar emerged with merely a few scratches while Black was left battered from the exchange. Later on, Super Saiyan Quasar fought against the Deluded CPUs alongside Nepgear and the others. In Zero Dimension, Super Saiyan Blue Quasar and Next Form Neptune fought on par with Quasar Black, occasionally outmaneuvering him, but was critically hurt by Black's Super while held down by Kurome Ankokuboshi. During the third battle, upon learning Black killed his family in a parallel universe, despite the hole in his chest, an enraged Super Saiyan Blue Quasar overwhelmed Black and Kurome simultaneously. During the fourth battle, using Super Saiyan Blue, Quasar, alongside Goku, Vegeta, and Reiko made Black and Kurome fight back a little however, once putting in more effort, they were quickly pummeled, even with X20 Super Saiyan Blue: Azure Heart. Later on, Quasar also proceeded to briefly overwhelm Akame using Super Saiyan Blue: Azure Heart, despite his injured arms.

During the last fight against Quasar Black and Kurome, base Quasar, Goku, Vegeta, Gohan, Ace, Ingram, Gwen, and Uzume fought and eventually defeated the doppelgangers once and for all.

DLC (Downloadable Content) Saga:

When the entity known as "Nepgya" made her appearance, she immediately proves to be able to easily defeat Reiko, even after the events of the Heart Dimension Saga. As soon as Quasar appeared, the two of them were evenly matched, until Nepgya forced Quasar to power up into his Super Saiyan Blue form, to which even Quasar says he does not think he will be able to stop her.

As the Omni-Kings' tournament grew closer, Histoire and Oliver openly viewed Quasar as the trump card for Gamindustri's potential victory. Once Quasar faced Plutia again, he was overwhelmed by her new skillset, but mainly due to Iris Heart's new ability to phase through attacks. During the second round, Quasar quickly realized the truth of Plutia's improved abilities and adjusted, able to overpower the goddess with only Super Saiyan Blue, noting that Plutia's techniques would no longer affect him. To his point, Quasar's sheer energy shattered Plutia's pocket dimension. Ultimately, the fight ended in a stalemate.

Chaos Saga:

During the early portion of the Chaos Saga, Quasar as a Super Saiyan completely outmatched by DCD as the latter managed to easily dodge his attacks and subdue him with just a kick to the back. Later on, he fought Turles and was capable of easily fighting and dodging his attacks even while empowered with Super Saiyan Blue. Against the newly recreated Janemba both him and Vegeta weren't able to land an attack due to Janemba already getting their analyses, while he and his father Oliver were able to finally inflict a hit on the recreated demon it only staggered it.

Later on, against Neo-Hatchiyack, who is noted to be even stronger than Super Saiyan Rosé Akame, Quasar was the only one able to perceive its assaults and mount an effective defense for a period. Against Super Neo-Hatchiyack, as the empowered foe proved too strong, Quasar created a Spirit Bomb by harnessing the power contained within the Universe Tree, Quasar was able to defeat Neo-Hatchiyack who previously had defeated the powered up Rayzor earlier.

Universe Survival Saga:

During the Zen Exhibition Match, base Quasar and Goku matched Bergamo, the strongest warrior of Universe 9. With Super Saiyan, the two of them easily outpaced the giant Bergamo before easily defeating him with Super Saiyan Blue, to which the gathered deities noted that their power rivaled the gods. Immediately afterwards, Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Quasar fought against Toppo, a Universe 11 candidate for the God of Destruction, and gradually overwhelmed his opponent.

During recruitment for Team Universe N, base Quasar matched the highly strengthened Yellow Heart but was defeated by ring out. He also fought mostly on par with Ingram Purija, who was much more powerful than she was months ago, with a number of his forms, but both agreed that the Saiyan was still holding back considerably. Against Nepgear's Potential Unleashed state, Quasar could compete with Super Saiyan 2. Once Nepgear used her full power, Quasar fought on par with Super Saiyan Blue and then used his HDD Form to defeat Nepgear instantly. Alongside Goku and Neptune, base Quasar withstood Sidra's Energy of Destruction, though he was unable to get control over it, requiring Beerus' aid. Not long after, Quasar and Goku, at Super-Saiyan Blue, and Neptune, at NEXT Purple, had a brief exchange with Golden Frieza and Crimson Cell and proved their foes despite his tremendous power increase, Quasar's own power having long increased since their last encounter.

During the Tournament of Power, numerous deities, including the ones from his own universe, have acknowledged Quasar as the most powerful warrior of Gamindustri (besides the CPUs) with at least a few of them consider him the greatest threat second to only Jiren and Necro; thus leading to him being the most targeted fighter of the tournament alongside Goku. All throughout, base Quasar held his own against multiple opponents such as the Trio of Danger, the Universe 3 robots Koitsukai, Panchia and Bollarator, the Universe 6 Saiyan Caulifla, and the Universe 2 warriors Ribrianne, Roasie, Zarbuto, Rabanra, and Zirloin with his power, skill and determination. This is made all the more impressive by the fact that during at least half of these encounters, he was extremely exhausted. At Super-Saiyan Blue, Quasar had consistently proven to be more than a match for the majority of the fighters he fought against in the tournament, the only exceptions being Kefla (though, this might be due to his limited stamina at the time) Jiren and Necro, who openly viewed Goku and Quasar as one of only four warriors he was required to defeat at the tournament, the other being Hit and Plutia. Using Super Saiyan Blue, Goku and Quasar made Jiren and Super Saiyan Necro fight back however, once putting in more effort, Quasar was quickly pummeled, even with X40 Super Saiyan Blue: Azure Heart.

Quasar eventually gained Hyper Instinct Sign, which not only allowed him to hold his own against the likes of Jiren and Necro, but also to graze the two of them once and land one clean blow before blasting them downwards. In this state, Quasar's ki shook the entire World of Void, a realm of infinite size. Against Dyspo and Toppo, he nonchalantly blocked their simultaneous assault and dodged Toppo's Justice Flash. Later when he and Goku were overpowered by the fused warrior Kefla due to their diminished stamina, Quasar re-entered Hyper Instinct Sign, while Goku re-attains Ultra Instinct -Sign-, and with minor difficulty, the two Saiyans eliminated her while in her Legendary Super Saiyan 2 form.

In the final two-on-two confrontation against Jiren and Necro, Quasar achieved Autonomous Hyper Instinct "Omen" again, effortlessly evading Necro's next assault at unseen speed and calmly landed a blow that left the Saiyan momentarily reeling in pain. Eventually Quasar masters Hyper Instinct, leaving all the present deities observing in awe, with the destroyers and the ancients themselves standing to their feet in respectful recognition of the feat. He then easily overwhelmed Necro until he unleashed his true power, but ultimately Quasar was still able to gain an advantage over Super Saiyan 3: Full Power Necro until his body broke down and he reverted back to base form.

Statements:

As a baby, Quasar had a power level of 1, which is very low for even a low-level Saiyan. By age 11, his power was 10. Great Ape Quasar was described as having destructive power similar to that of a battleship's main gun.

While inside Buu's body, Quasar could not even use 1/100 of his usual power.

According to Histoire and the other CPUs, Quasar is considered to be the strongest warrior in both Gamindustri and the Universe and #1, alongside Goku.

According to Uranus, Hirudegarn is equal in power to Super Saiyan 3 Goku and Super Saiyan 2 Quasar, and Goku and Quasar are not any stronger in Wrath of the Dragon than they were in Fusion Reborn.

According to the other characters, Quasar as Super Saiyan Blue in Resurrection 'F' has an "overwhelming power that the world has never seen before". Oliver considers Beerus and Whis to be an unsurpassable wall for Quasar and the others, and Ingram stated that there are no immediate plans for Quasar, Reiko, Goku and Vegeta to surpass either Beerus or Whis.

Prior to Quasar achieving Hyper Instinct Sign, Quasar, Goku Neptune, Frieza and Cell were tied for the No. 1 spot on Team Universe 7 and N in terms of power. In Quasar's final usage of Hyper Instinct Sign, even Beerus thinks Quasar might be stronger than him.

Transformations:

Great Ape:

Like all Saiyans, Quasar can transform into a Great Ape when absorbing enough blutz waves, usually from looking at a full moon, while still having his tail, though not of his choosing. As a Great Ape, Quasar's dormant Saiyan traits re-emerge and he becomes feral and violent. His power and senses increase by 10-fold and he is able to generate powerful mouth blasts.

Azure Heart:

By harnessing the power of Share Energy, Quasar can enter a unique transformation, becoming the CPU known as Azure Heart.

The power boost not only enabled him to fight on par with the Goddesses, but it also heightened Quasar's senses and instincts, making him able to sense and detect Share Energy.

Kaio-Ken:

This technique was invented by King Kai, and was taught to Quasar during his training in the Other World.

While in this state, Quasar's aura color becomes a crimson-red color, and his skin tone now takes on a bright pink color.

The technique requires the use of ki control to handle it properly. It is a technique that multiplies the user's ki for a "heartbeat" - thus increasing their power and speed and enabling them to inflict serious damage to opponents who are considerably stronger than them. However, the downside of the Kaio-ken is that it takes a heavy toll on the user's body, making them more vulnerable to enemy attacks.

Super Saiyan:

Quasar achieves this form during the events of the Mk2 Saga, in a fit of rage and anger when he initially thought Twilight had killed Nepgear in cold blood.

In this form, Quasar's jet-black hair now becomes a shiny, golden-blonde color, his peach skin now gains a lighter complexion, and his hair becomes upturned and stands up with no loose strands, giving it a rising, flame-like appearance. Additionally, his french sky-blue eyes now become a turquoise/blue-green color, and his overall facial expression becomes a bit more aggressive, with his eyes gaining sharpened corners. His power also generates a golden-yellow, flame-like aura. In some cases, when unleashing the full intensity of his power, Quasar's golden-yellow aura also produces a few light-blue, electrical sparks.

In terms of power, the Super Saiyan transformation multiples Quasar's power by 50 times of his base form, even more so than his Hard Drive Divinity form. Originally, Quasar's demeanor is greatly affected by this form, making him more aggressive and irritable. After his fight with Beerus, Quasar realizes that fully mastering this form would eventually raise his level more than his higher Super Saiyan forms, and sap less strength and ki. One thing to note is that in his initial appearances as a Super Saiyan, his golden hair looks less detailed. When he became a Super Saiyan Full Power, the hair looked much more detailed and nice-looking.

Super Saiyan: "Azure Heart" (Super Saiyan x Hard Drive Divinity):

Quasar can utilize this rather "unique" ability by tapping into the power of his Share Energy whilst in his standard Super Saiyan form.

In this form, the appearance of this form primarily resembles that of a standard Super Saiyan or Super Saiyan 2 (depending on which form he chooses to use). Additionally, his hair spikes up even further than before (occasionally, it still resembles his Super Saiyan 2 hair afterwards). Upon completing the transformation, Quasar's aura expands from the standard golden-yellow color to a dual aura consisting of an intense, light whitish-blue glow wrapping around his body within the original golden aura, as well as emitting particles similar to those in the Super Saiyan Blue and Super Saiyan Rosé forms. Additionally, the Share Crystal at the center of his chest glows a bright blue color, which is a strong indicator of his power.

With this power-up, Quasar's power and speed are enhanced many times over, far beyond anything his base form could achieve.

Spirit Bomb Super Saiyan:

This form is the result of a Super Saiyan becoming empowered via absorbing the energy of a Spirit Bomb.

In this state, Quasar becomes immensely more powerful than he was previously, gaining an aura of light, whitish-blue colored energy similar to that of the Spirit Bomb.

Due to the rageful and thus impure nature of the initial Super Saiyan transformation, the users of the Spirit Bomb run the risk of being unable to gather energy for the technique. Thus, Quasar must begin gathering energy before transforming in order to then absorb the resulting Spirit Bomb's energy for himself. Additionally, once Quasar had achieved the Super Saiyan Full Power form and desensitized himself to the initial negative effects of the Super Saiyan transformation, he is able to create a Spirit Bomb for absorption with far less struggle.

Super Saiyan Full Power:

The form is essentially no different than the original Super Saiyan transformation. The reduction in the emotional and physical strain of both attaining and maintaining the state mean that Quasar appears more relaxed, with his eyes and facial features becoming much more softened and cheerful. Additionally, his aura alters somewhat, making the radiating energy become reduced in tandem, shown visibly by the aura becoming smoother into a steady flow of waves rather than rapid bursts of spikes. As such, Quasar's hair is often portrayed as a yellowish-white, returning to a more golden-yellow tone whenever he powers up.

By conditioning themselves to remain transformed for extended periods of time, the Super Saiyan can desensitize themselves to the negative side effects of the transformation. His wild emotions are kept in check allowing him to stay more focused, which results in a more strategic fighting style and pattern of thinking, and passive ki consumption is reduced to negligible amounts. This energy conserving methodology allows Quasar to devote his critical energy to other necessary tasks during combat whilst spending the duration of his time in a relaxed state or simply carrying out normal everyday tasks. With this mastery, Quasar, having gone well beyond his limits, was able to rapidly flash between his base and Super Saiyan form to defeat Jiren and Necro alongside Goku, Neptune, Frieza, and Cell despite his battered and exhausted state.

Quasar is able to use Super Saiyan with the mastered energies of a god, as he did to combat Beerus in Battle of Gods by absorbing the Super Saiyan God power, though this power seemingly evolved into Super Saiyan Blue.

Super Kaio-Ken:

Quasar uses this technique while fighting against the likes of Yellow Heart in the Victory Saga. By using the power of Kaio-ken while in his Super Saiyan form, Quasar doubles his Super Saiyan capacities. While in the state, Quasar's aura is combined with his standard aura and his body and hair gain an intense crimson-red hue.

Due to the strain of using the Kaio-Ken on top of Super Saiyan, even with his perfect control of the form, it was too dangerous for Quasar to use it while alive as even the little buildup of emotions while transformed could prove devastating to him.

Super Saiyan 2:

Quasar achieved this form at some point after the Deity of Sin's defeat during his time in the Other World.

In this form, Quasar gained a few noticeable changes to his overall appearance. For example, the golden-blonde hair brought upon by his previous Super Saiyan form became even spikier, with three of his bangs going up with the rest of the hair, making his hair more defined than his other previous Super Saiyan transformation. In addition to this, the increased energy radiation caused the aura to take on a more jagged, fierce flame-like appearance rather than it being smooth or flowing. Because the energy output and radiation are higher than that of a Super Saiyan, the aura pulses at a higher frequency. His muscle mass had barely increased, but the energy output is multiplied by more than the original Super Saiyan transformation; such that greater amounts of Quasar's increased energy reserves can be used at once for much more powerful energy attacks without the onset of exhaustion later. Another notable feature of the form is the electrical discharge aura; as many blue electrical sparks constantly surround his body, especially when powering up.

The power that this form would provide Quasar would be twice the power of his first Super Saiyan form, giving him a significant boost in strength, largely over 100 times that of his base state. After obtaining much higher levels and greater forms, Quasar would reserve this form for opponents he takes semi-seriously. In Hyperdimension Neptunia Super, Quasar displays full mastery of this form. In the Tournament of Power, when the eager Universe 6 Saiyan Caulifla desired to learn Super Saiyan 3, Quasar insisted she was not quite ready for it, before mastering Super Saiyan 2. To which, Quasar demonstrated such by intensifying the sheer power of this form, leaving a baffled Caulifla to wonder if this was really the same Super Saiyan 2 she was using. In this state, his aura expands significantly. This state lets Quasar fight on par against both Super Saiyan 2 Caulifla and Legendary Super Saiyan 2 Kale simultaneously.

Super Saiyan God:

Quasar achieves this form with the help of the other Saiyans and CPUs, and uses it against Beerus alongside Goku. It is a form well-beyond even Super Saiyan 2 or Super Saiyan 3, exciting even Beerus and forcing the God of Destruction to fight relatively seriously. It is noted that Super Saiyan God possesses the Aura of a God.

In this form, Quasar possesses ruby-red colored hair, which retains its natural style, but also becoming much more refined (losing any stray hairs). His eyes also became much more detailed, and his irises changed to a crimson-red color with visible black pupils (appearing as more relaxed, even in battle until sufficiently angered). Additionally, his overall body structure appears to be much younger and thinner in both frame and build. He also gains a scarlet-red aura that resembles a raging fire with a yellowish-orange outline around his body.

Usage of this form grants various heightened capacities. He recovers at an accelerated rate and requires the most minute number of stamina to maintain this form. It lets him fight with more finesse and grace as he instinctively predicts his opponent's attacks with more efficiency. His ki becomes godly, allowing him to other such beings and likewise can from most entities sensing him. This form gives more versatile control and usage of his ki, including absorbing and thus nullifying enemy attacks, paralyzing foes, and self-healing.

Originally, despite the incredible power, Quasar soon reverts to base form due to the form's time limit. Having adapted to the feeling of Super Saiyan God however, Quasar retained some of the power, allowing him to continue fighting Beerus. Through further training, Quasar learned how to properly access and control this residual power, ultimately restoring its full properties to access this form at any time.

Saiyan Beyond God:

After experiencing the power of Super Saiyan God, Quasar learned to use the raw might and enhanced senses of this god-like power, taking on an empowered state undertaken by Quasar, who gained the ability to utilize the power of a Super Saiyan God without having to change into the transformation.

In this state, while his physical appearance remains unchanged, Quasar's ki can be manifested as a pure silver-white flame-like aura. At the same time, usage of this power will greatly enhance his Super Saiyan forms, and eventually allow him to utilize both powers together to enter Super Saiyan Blue.

The Saiyan Beyond God state appears to be a result of the Super Saiyan God's Crimson Radiance being retained in base form and further trained to be harnessed by the user naturally. Thus, Quasar first unintentionally became a Saiyan Beyond God in Hyperdimension Neptunia Z: Battle of Gods, and then deliberately trained to master the new state in Hyperdimension Neptunia Z: Resurrection 'F', which in turn caused the God's Crimson Radiance to evolve his Super Saiyan form into Super Saiyan Blue. Thus, Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan appears to be the Super Saiyan counterpart to Saiyan beyond God, as a Saiyan beyond God attempting to transform into a Super Saiyan will enter this state instead.

Super Saiyan Blue:

After training with Whis, Quasar learned to synchronize his Super Saiyan form with the power of a Super Saiyan God, causing him to become a "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan", more commonly known as "Super Saiyan Blue".

This transformation is nearly identical to the first Super Saiyan form, the only main differences being that the hair and irises are now a bright, cyanish-blue color (albeit the irises change to a slightly darker color than the hair). Compared to the Super Saiyan God form, Quasar's usual musculature appeared to be larger than the previous Super Saiyan God transformation, with it resembling the Saiyan in base form. He also has a vibrant, fiery, electric blue aura, with the aura surrounding the form also appearing to be glittering somewhat, with small sparkling particles of energy traveling upwards within the flames, with occasional surges of electricity.

The form's power is a level that surpasses Super Saiyan God and offers increased levels of ki and emotional control. Quasar learns to enhance the form's power through different means, including using the power of Hard Drive Divinity while in this form, as well as using intense rage to further power-up the form. Originally, Super Saiyan Blue's peak power can only be maintained for a short period, gradually decreasing in stamina from prolonged use. Also, repeated use will reduce the power of this form to less than 10% capacity. As such, Quasar eventually learned to instantly and repeatedly switch between his Super Saiyan God and Super Saiyan Blue forms, allowing him to conserve and quickly recover the full power of Super Saiyan Blue, allowing him to fight for much longer periods unhindered.

Super Saiyan Blue: "Azure Heart" (Super Saiyan Blue x Hard Drive Divinity):

In the Universe 6 Saga, thanks to the Super Saiyan Blue form's great ki and emotional control, Quasar can properly utilize the power of his Hard Drive Divinity form alongside it with far less risk.

In this state, this variation of the Super Saiyan "Azure Heart" form synchronized the two separate power boosts between Quasar's godly transformation and the special power-up, which is emphasized by the double aura effect, placing a sapphire-blue Share Energy aura outside of the typical, electric-blue Super Saiyan Blue aura. The outer Share Energy aura manifests as violently fluctuating and jagged while the Super Saiyan Blue aura maintains a gentle, flame-like contour. Whenever using this transformation, the energy aura is so intense that Quasar's cyanish-blue hair appears to be several shades darker than normal, and his skin appears to be illuminated by the Share Energy aura to a light shade of periwinkle-blue.

Quasar first utilized this transformation against Iris Heart (Plutia) in the Tournament of Destroyers. While utilizing Share Energy with his normal Super Saiyan forms has proven to be far too extreme for his body to handle, Quasar's blue hair turns a dark blue and his skin is illuminated to a light blue. In which case, it will gradually damage his body. This unstable state originally gave Quasar a severe case of Delayed Onset Ki Disorder, sending both Quasar's ki and Share Energy into flux, making him unable to properly assess his energy for a few days. During the events of Megadimension Neptunia VII, the Chaos Saga, and the Tournament of Power, Quasar had mastered this ability up to x20 and even x40 with no instability or strain to his body.

NEXT Azure:

During the events of the Gold Third Saga, after he and the other CPUs absorbed the power of the Hyper Share Crystal, Quasar was able to gain access to an entirely new evolution of his Hard Drive Divinity form, now known as NEXT Azure.

Being a form that pushes beyond his normal Hard Drive Divinity Form, this transformation looks visually identical to its predecessor, except for a few noticeable differences. For example, his hair and eyes take on a darker coloring of royal-blue, as well as growing bigger and spiking outwards, similarly to his 2 transformation. Quasar also seemed to have slimmed down in the same way his Super Saiyan God form does, and his gem glows a dark blue color.

In this form, he also becomes notably calmer in comparison to his regular Hard Drive Divinity transformation.

Hyper Instinct Sign:

A highly advanced state-of-being that was first attained during the Tournament of Power. Quasar did this by absorbing the energy of the Super Spirit Bomb as a bolster to break a mental shell in the subconscious to unlock a much deeper portion of his potential, as well as "inadvertently" tapping into the full extent of the Perfect Core's divine power. With this brand-new level of power, Quasar's physical and mental parameters are vastly augmented beyond comprehension, ranking among the most powerful entities in all the multiverse.

Whenever Quasar enters this state, his jet-black hair is slightly spikier in shape and more solid, with bright, periwinkle-blue highlights and oftentimes having loose strands. His eyes take on a more stern, defined shape, sporting silver colored irises with a faint arctic-blue glare and visible black pupils (similar to Super Saiyan 3 and Super Saiyan God). He also gains a complex silver, purple, and blue aura consisting of rippling, fire-like energy, complete with sparkling particles traveling upwards much like Super Saiyan God did before it.

When powering up, Quasar generates an explosive, glowing bluish-white aura around his body and another straight, transparent aura that shoots upward, as this generates an incredibly strong tremor and blows away its surroundings due to the overwhelming raw energy emitted. Similar to other forms, the more intense the power-up, the greater the aura itself, until it stabilizes. Unlike other forms, even when not powering up, Quasar is still surrounded by an aura, a purplish-blue and very thin one that outlines his whole body.

In this state, Quasar's physical, mental, and energy parameters are vastly augmented, equally increasing his combat performance. He processes information far quicker and efficiently, letting him learn and adapt to all experiences. The highlight of this lets him to threats in the most efficient way possible, even without consciously being aware of it. This augmented growth greatly accelerates his natural improvement, constantly imprinting on his experiences to become stronger, faster, and sharper in his actions with every skirmish. Entering this state also energized him and negated all previous wounds as a battered Quasar showed against Kefla.

In addition to the instinctive fighting style, the Hyper Instinct Sign state increases Quasar's ability considerably, allowing him to steadily evolve his power and efficiency with each exchange as he continues to fight an opponent of rivaling or greater power.

However, usage of this state is extremely random and unstable, only accessible for short periods of time and in the direst of situations. By his fight against Kefla, while seemingly learning to access this state more willingly, as noted by Whis, Histoire, Uranus, and Ingram, Quasar's usage of this state is still incomplete. While his movements have become more refined, he struggles to switch his full attention on to his offense, inhibiting his attacks and techniques, requiring more time to build up energy for an assault to have sufficient power. The effort also appears to drain Quasar quicker, returning him to his base form and in an exhausted state.

Equipment:

Attack Ball (Saiyan Pod):

Spaceships used for interstellar travel. Due to being a low-class Saiyan and because his parents wanted him to survive, Quaar was sent to Gamindustri, so that he could live a peaceful existence. The space pod landed somewhere in Virtua Forest, just outside of Planeptune, and it was there that Neptune and Nepgear found Quasar and adopted him.

Shooting Star:

A special type of Hoverboard that possesses excellent turning capabilities, and was created by his girlfriend Nepgear. The Shooting Star possesses low durability, but performs turns quite well, like comets carving arcs in the sky.

Like many hoverboards, the Shooting Star does have a distinct board shape, with inward curves around the midsection, but is thicker and smoother than most hoverboards. It is primarily colored blue, with magenta highlights, and its top surface is covered by a silver metal plate with two circular foot panels on the top of the said plate.

Dragon Radar:

An invention of Nepgear made to track down Dragon Balls. While Quasar and other individuals can sense the Dragon Balls' energy in a general area, the Dragon Radar can pinpoint their exact location from across the entire planet. This lets Quasar and his friends track all the Dragon Balls within days rather than years, or hours with teleportation.

Senzu Bean:

Mystical beans of remarkable rejuvenate properties. Since Korin has allied himself with Quasar and his friends, as the only one who can grow them, he regularly provides them with a bag of beans before they go to battle.

Healing Potion:

A special type of medicine created by Quasar. These potions are made from extracting a tiny sliver of energy from the Perfect Core. These magical panaceas heal injuries instantly, with varying effectiveness depending on their potency, making them crucial in situations where physical conflicts happen often.

Potara:

Sacred earrings worn by Supreme Kais to symbolize their full elite status as grand overseers of their respective universe. While worn so casually, they have incredible properties. When a matching set is worn between two people on opposite ears, they will immediately be fused into a new individual that represents the apex of both people's traits combined.

While fusing with a Supreme Kai will result in a permanent fusion, any other union will only last for an hour. It will also permit the wearer to use the Time Rings.

Chakra Color Association:

The chakra color that is most commonly associated with Quasar Kaze is the color Blue, which represents the Throat Chakra, otherwise known as the Vishuddha.

The Throat Chakra is the fifth chakra energy center located in the throat area. The color Blue itself represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, and intelligence.

Appearance:

In terms of general appearance, Quasar bears a great resemblance to Beat, the Saiyan Hero from Dragon Ball Heroes, as they are both loosely based on Goku's design from Dragon Ball GT, except they are significantly taller, and they have a different hairstyle.

Quasar's blue color scheme is loosely based on Goku's 2P outfit from Dragon Ball Z: Supersonic Warriors and Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit, which in turn, is a reference to Vegito.

Other:

Quasar's love for Chili Dogs, which is a characteristic trait he shares with his father Oliver Kaze, is a subtle reference to the Sonic the Hedgehog series, as chili dogs are Sonic the Hedgehog's favorite food.

Originally, Quasar was supposed to have a transformation called "Super Saiyan Purple", which would be associated with the term "Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan" and it would also bear some similarities to forms like Super Saiyan Blue/ Super Saiyan Rosé. However, this idea was scrapped in favor of Quasar learning the same kinds of forms that Goku and Vegeta would obtain.

For Quasar, the Hyper Instinct Transformations (Hyper Instinct Sign and Autonomous Hyper Instinct) that Quasar possesses, are his own variation of the Ultra Instinct Sign/Autonomous Ultra Instinct Forms, as well as taking major inspiration from the Hyper Sonic Transformation from Sonic the Hedgehog 3 & Knuckles on the Sega Genesis/Mega Drive.
