Chapter #2: The Goddess (Neptune) of Planeptune & The Saiyan (Quasar Kaze) Raised on Gamindustri - Part 2

Location: Lastation Outskirts - Forest of Lost Movement

Time: 2:30 PM

The first thing to be seen was none other than Gwen Parker as she was seen flying through the air at such a leisurely pace with her even looking down at the forest below her. Then, after a couple of minutes had passed, Gwen had stopped mid-flight as her aura vanished into thin air and she descended back onto solid ground, with the female Saiyan landing on both of her feet.

Afterwards, Gwen quickly pulled her Dragon Radar out of her pocket and decided to use this opportunity to start walking through the rest of the forest as her magenta-colored eyes stared directly at the screen of her device as it continuously made a high-pitched beeping noise. Eventually, after she had been walking for a couple of miles, her attention was immediately grabbed when she suddenly noticed a small rural town just outside of the woods.

Gwen: Well... What have we here?

It was then where she quickly noticed a small family consisting of a mother and her two children waving at Gwen, with the female Saiyan smiling at the family while also politely waving at them before she decided to go and meet the family as she also spotted a blue car on the side of the road, suggesting that it belonged to the family of three.

Upon seeing this, Gwen casually leaped into the air before slowly landing back onto the ground as she then proceeded to greet the small family.

Gwen: Hey there. Is everything alright?

Mother: Yes. I'm terribly sorry, but it seems like my car has broken down. I tried calling a tow company to help, but it doesn't look like they'll be here for another hour or so. *Sigh* And I really don't wanna be running late for the family meet and greet.

As soon as she finished listening to the lady's story, Gwen looked over at the car before an idea popped into her head and she started talking to the woman.

Gwen: Well, why don't I help fix your car?

The woman then looked at the female Saiyan with a surprised expression on her face as she was not expecting a teenage girl such as herself to be so willing to fix up her automobile.

Woman: Wait, are you sure? I mean... I really don't want to inconvenience you with this.

Gwen: Hey, it's no big deal. Besides, I'm in no real rush or anything. Plus, I can't just leave you and your kids out here on your own.

It was then where two of the woman's kids, one of them being an eight-year old girl and the other one being a ten-year old boy, walked up to Gwen and looked at her with a curious, yet innocent look on both their faces.

Little Girl: Miss? Can you really fix mommy's car for us?

Little Boy: Yeah! Can you?

Gwen simply smiled at the two children with a big grin on her face as she casually adjusted her glasses while also letting out a soft chuckling sound from her mouth before speaking up once again.

Gwen: Why of course, my little friends! After all, I am the Smartest Saiyan Alive! Just leave everything to me.

And so, after she was done speaking highly of herself, Gwen immediately walked over to the blue car and started getting to work. The first thing that she did was pop the hood of the vehicle and began inspecting the engine as it would likely be the first thing that could have been damaged in some way shape or form. As soon as her eyes saw the engine for herself, Gwen started looking around for anything that felt like it needed to be repaired or replaced with something else.

Gwen: (Hmm... The oil filter looks to be intact, and so does the exhaust manifold... Maybe it's the...)

Then, after looking around for a bit, Gwen's eyes quickly spotted something completely out of the ordinary as she found that the car's engine block had been severely damaged as there were a handful of cracks that were just impossible to ignore. In addition, the head gasket also appeared to be a bit worn down as there were a few signs of rust and broken metal on its surface.

Gwen: (Jackpot!) It looks like it was your engine block and head gasket that caused your car to break down. Nothing to worry about!

Upon hearing this, the family all gasped in surprise as they did not expect Gwen to be so knowledgeable about the intricacies of automobiles.

Mother: That's amazing!

Little Boy: Wow, awesome!

Little Girl: Miss, you sure are smart!

Gwen couldn't help but smile a little bit at the family before she ran to the back of the car and casually opened the trunk with just her right hand and pulled out a red toolbox before slamming the trunk door down and then immediately started working on the damaged car engine.

Five Minutes Later

Eventually, after five and a half minutes had come and gone, Gwen was successfully able to repair all of the damage that was found on the car's engine, with the female Saiyan wiping the sweat from her forehead and letting out a slightly tired sigh of relief as she felt proud of herself being able to put her mechanical expertise to the test.

Gwen: Alright, you're good to go!

After giving them the good word, the family hopped back into their car and immediately started it up, with it letting out a clean-sounding engine noise as the blue-colored automobile roared to life, making the small family let out an audible gasp as they could not believe how well their car seemed to be running.

Mother: You fixed it! Thank you so much, young lady.

Little Girl and Boy: Thank you!

Gwen simply responded to the family's words with a friendly smile along with a casual wave before speaking her mind.

Gwen: Hey, don't sweat it. I was just passing on by, it's the least I could do. Now you drive safely and try not to let it happen again, okay?

Mother: Right!

It was then where the mother stepped on the gas pedal and began driving down the dirt road as she and her children made their way towards the nearby town, but not before the little girl and boy who were sitting in the backseat turned around and waved at Gwen.

Both: Bye bye!

Gwen simply smiled and waved at the two kids as the blue car that she had just fixed was no longer in sight. She then wiped her forehead before placing both of her hands behind her spiky black head of hair and started talking out loud to herself.

Gwen: Well, that was interesting. Now then... Where is that Dragon Ball?

After she finished her sentence, a loud beeping noise quickly grabbed her attention as Gwen immediately pulled out the Dragon Radar from her back pocket and stared directly at the device's screen, with it displaying the words "DRAGON BALL LOCATED" in bolded letters on said screen. Upon seeing this, Gwen's eyes widened like fancy dinner plates as her device was able to finally get a reading on where the Dragon Ball was spotted.

Gwen: Holy crap! Talk about good luck. And it's not that far from where I'm standing either.

Gwen then placed her radar back into her pocket before clenching her right hand into a fist as a large smile made its way on her face before she said what was on her mind.

Gwen: Ready or not, you precious jewel, here I come!

Then, without wasting any more time at all, Gwen powered up as a pure, yet translucent white-colored aura surrounded her entire body as she then flew off the ground and proceeded to make their way towards the location of the Dragon Ball.

However, unbeknownst to her, there was something hiding in the shadows as a set of bright, glowing red eyes appeared to be staring at her from an extremely far away distance before it suddenly let out a deep-sounding mechanical noise.

Location: Lastation Outskirts

The scene then quickly transitioned over to the likes of Noire and Uni as the two sisters appeared to be walking through a forest that was close enough towards the borders of Planeptune where the quest of slaying monsters was located.

Noire: We'll be clearing monsters from two places: the Nasuune Highlands and the nearby Toruunay Cave. Neither of them are-

Then, right before she could finish her sentence, Uni suddenly spoke up to her sister in order to let her know about something important.

Uni: Hey, sis?

Noire: What is it?

Uni: Nobody's listening.

As soon as she heard this, Noire immediately stopped walking as she was somewhat put off guard by Uni's words as she quickly turned around to find the likes of Neptune, Nepgear, IF and Compa who appeared to be doing their own things as opposed to following her orders as the CPU of Planeptune appeared to be admiring a random wooden signpost with her sister Nepgear looking at her with a plain expression on her face, as well as IF and Compa who were resting on a nearby tree, with IF appearing to be exhausted from carrying her friend around on her back for several miles.

Compa: I'm too pooped to move.

IF: I'm fresh out of piggybacks.

Compa's only response to IF's words was a very friendly smile as Neptune suddenly spoke out loud and started talking to Nepgear about something incredibly random.

Neptune: Whoa! Look, this is the famous sign you can't read from behind!

After a few seconds of awkward silence had come and gone, Nepgear started stating the obvious to her older sister about her little discovery.

Nepgear: ... I think... Most signs are like that.

Understandably annoyed by the complete lack of urgency displayed by the group, Noire yelled at everyone else in order for them to get back on the move again.

Noire: Get moving!

Eventually, after a little bit of resting, the group managed to get back on the path towards their location to complete the monster hunting quest. And in order to ensure that nothing would go pear-shaped, Noire was now seen walking behind Neptune as she was poking the goddess of Planeptune with a random stick that she picked off the ground as a way to keep her from slowing everyone down again.

Noire: You're walking too slow.

Neptune: Aww, c'mon! You are like "all business" all the time, aren't you?

Noire: Is that a problem?

Then, while still in the midst of their conversation, Neptune's violet-colored orbs looked back and stared directly into Noire's crimson-red colored orbs before asking her a very important question.

Neptune: Doesn't it like, ya know, tire you out having a stick up your butt?

Noire simply glared at Neptune with a serious expression on her face before giving her fellow CPU an answer to her question.

Noire: ... I want to make this country as great as I can. So the way I see it, the only stick here is the one I'm using to poke you.

Upon hearing Noire's words for herself, Neptune quickly spoke to the goddess of Lastation with the same carefree smile on her face as she wanted to make it clear to Noire that she shared the same goal as she did, while at the same time trying to do things in her own unique way.

Neptune: Well yeah, I wanna make a great country too, of course? But isn't it a whole lot better if it's fun? I mean, even someone like Quasar can agree with me on that.

Unfortunately for Neptune, Noire was not exactly pleased with her words as she, being something of a "perfectionist", had a very difficult time dealing with things that weren't entirely up to her high standards, especially when it comes to running her nation.

Noire: And this is what makes us so incredibly different from each other. While you and that Saiyan may think that everything's all nothing but a game, I just don't see what's so fun about failure.

After Noire had finished talking, Neptune simply let out a small sigh before suddenly speaking to the black-haired tsundere in a very quiet tone.

Neptune: *Sigh* ... Oh well. Suit yourself, I suppose.

Then, after a few more seconds of walking, Noire suddenly stopped in place as she suddenly began to hear a bit of chatter in the distance before she started sprinting on ahead of the rest of the group as she soon realized that they had finally reached their destination, with it being revealed that right outside of the forest stood a very small group of mostly female villagers who all appeared to be rather pleased to see their goddess in the flesh as a handful of them were seen waving at Noire with large smiles on each of their faces, with the Lastation CPU politely waving back at the villagers with a soft smile on her face.

However, right before she could go down and greet her own people, something immediately clicked into Noire's head as she knew that if she was to do this, she would have to do it right.

Noire: Oh, oops! I almost forgot!

Wasting no time at all, Noire decided that now would be the best opportunity to show off her skills as Lastation's very own CPU, with her immediately tapping into the power of her Hard Drive Divinity (or HDD for short) form, but not before she quickly said one single word from her mouth.

Noire: Access!!!

Then, shortly after she finished saying that word out loud, something rather interesting began to take place as Noire, who was harnessing the power of Hard Drive Divinity, appeared to be undergoing some kind of transformation of sorts.

The first thing that appeared to be shown were small traces of hot-pink colored energy which seemed to erupt out of Noire's body as her primary outfit (save for her arm sleeves and boots) appeared to disappear into digital-looking bits of energy. Eventually, Noire closed her eyes as she used both of her arms and legs in order to cover the rest of her "seemingly" bare body as a surge of magenta-pink colored energy continued to erupt from out of her flesh.

Meanwhile on the sidelines, Neptune appeared to be the only one who was witnessing Noire's transformation unfold right before her eyes as she was rather shocked to see her fellow CPU going straight into her HDD form right off the bat.

Neptune: What?! You're gonna transform right now?

Back with Noire, she was still in the midst of undergoing her transformation as she started to spin around for a little bit before immediately stopping in mid-air as the energy that emerged out of her body had now wrapped around her upper torso and midsection area, along with her forearms and even her legs as she now wore an onyx-black colored, skin-tight leotard with silver-white colored detailing on it around the torso and arms which also profoundly exposed a bit of her cleavage, with the middle of the torso appearing to have a small bit of silver-colored mesh which allowed a rather vague vertical view of her stomach area. Additionally, she also wore a pair of matching black and silver-white gloves that appeared to reach past her forearms. Her shoes had also transformed into matching black and silver-white, thigh high styled boots with small, silver rhombus-shaped patterns on the front of her footwear. Then, right before her transformation sequence could finish, Noire casually removed her two hair ribbons as her hair changed from black to a pure, snow-white color in addition to being a lot more loose as it now reached past her shoulders and her eyes had also changed from ruby-red to a bright, cyanish-color with bright-white pupils in the shape of power signs.

Upon completing her transformation, Noire had now become the goddess known as Black Heart, with her then striking a pose as a set of translucent, powder-blue colored wings which resembled sharp blades appeared behind her back.

As soon as she became Black Heart, the Goddess of Lastation looked back at Neptune and the others before she started talking once again, albeit with a slightly lower pitch to her voice.

Black Heart (Noire): Second rule in the Goddess Handbook: "One should always try to project a majestic air."

Then, shortly after she finished talking to the others, Black Heart levitated off the ground as she then floated over towards the villagers down below in order to discuss the matter of the monsters that have been causing trouble for them.

Black Heart (Noire): Ladies, would you mind telling me about the monsters that are troubling you?

Upon seeing Black Heart float down to greet the rest of the villagers, Neptune couldn't help but stare at the Lastation CPU as she felt Noire's decision to go into her HDD form to be a bit too... "risque" to say the very least.

Neptune: I don't think getting naked in front of a bunch of strangers is really "majestic"...

Time: 2:45 PM

It was then where the scene quickly shifted over back towards the city of Planeptune at the Blue Hedgehog jazz club where Quasar Kaze was currently in the midst of eating his lunch, which mostly consisted of several plates of piping-hot chili dogs with shredded, colby jack cheese and diced onions which were sprinkled on top of the mild-flavored chili sauce. In addition, Quasar's order also came with a side of crispy seasoned curly fries, a small bowl of ketchup that occupied the fries, and finally a tall glass of blue cream soda with ice in it.

Quasar's eyes sparked as the chili dogs looked so good that he could not help but stare at his meal with a large smile on his face and a tiny bit of drool started dipping out of his mouth, before he quickly regained his composure and then clapped both of his hands together and closed his eyes in order to say grace before he would indulge in the delicious food on his plate.

Quasar: Thanks for the food.

Then, right after he had finished showing gratitude for the delicious meal, Quasar wasted no time and started eating the chili dogs and curly fries without a single care in the world, while also drinking his blue cream soda on a few occasions in order to help wash down the food a bit faster. As the Saiyan continued stuffing his face with chili dogs, there were a handful of other customers, including a few staff members who all looked on with surprised expressions on their faces as the dishes on the Saiyan's table were beginning to pile up like small towers as Quasar easily scarfed down his meal like it was nothing.

A/N: For the sake of simplicity, just know that Quasar's order was at least a grand total of 27 chili dogs, 12 baskets of curly fries, and around 6 or 7 glasses of blue cream soda.

Fifteen Minutes Later

Eventually, after a good fifteen minutes had passed, Quasar took one final sip of his drink before immediately getting up out of his chair and stretching his upper body with a big smile on his face as he began to speak up.

Quasar: Ahh, man! That was great! Nothing like a good chili dog to help fill me up! I'm pretty sure that lunch oughta be enough to tie me over 'till dinner. Ehehehehe.

After he was done with his meal, Quasar paid the waitress who served his lunch and then casually walked out of the restaurant with both of his arms behind his spiky head of hair as he looked directly up at the bright-blue sky with a carefree smile on his face.

Quasar: Welp, I think now would be a good enough time for me to head back home. Hmm... Now that I think about it, I wonder what Neptune and Nepgear are doing right now? Ehh, I'm sure I'll figure it out once I-

However, right before he even got a chance to finish his sentence, Quasar suddenly stopped walking because he felt a rather strange sensation and could not help but begin to feel a somewhat sharp pain on the left side of his neck, which was then revealed as there was a very tall individual standing right behind him with the mysterious figure holding onto a sword which appeared to be rather sharp as a tiny cut appeared on the young Saiyan's neck with a few traces of blood trickling down the side of his neck and making Quasar feel slightly uncomfortable in the process.

Then, after a bit of silence, the unknown assailant spoke up with a rather deep and serious, male-sounding tone to their voice.

???: I'll only say this once, so make sure that you pay close attention... Don't. Move. An inch. Or else I won't hesitate to kill you where you stand.

Upon hearing this, Quasar's eyes narrowed a bit as he had no choice but to comply with the mysterious man's words. After seeing for himself that Quasar had no plan to disobey his command, the hooded figure let out a soft, yet rough-sounding chuckle before he started talking once more to the Saiyan.

???: Tell me... Are you the one who the people of this world call "Quasar Kaze"?

Quasar's eyes widened a little bit as whoever it was that had a sword to his neck seemed to know exactly who he was and also seemed to be interested in getting some type of information out of him. And since he didn't seem to have much of a choice, Quasar started talking to this mysterious assailant with his back still turned to him, along with sounding a bit more serious than his usual cheery self.

Quasar: Yeah, that's right. My name is Quasar Kaze. But let me ask you something... Who are you and what do you want with me anyway?

It was then where the assailant started chuckling darkly to the Saiyan's questions before he then used his right hand to remove his hood and reveal himself to Quasar, despite the fact that he still had his back turned to him.

The perpetrator in question was revealed to be a very tall, muscular alien with purple-colored eyes and teal/bluish-green colored skin with black-colored spots on both the top of his head, as well as on his bare chest, with the shape of his head resembling that of a cobra snake. In terms of clothing, the alien wore a crimson-red colored hooded jacket with sharp, pointed spikes on the shoulders, a pair of dark, maroon-purple pants with suspenders, and finally a matching set of silver-colored chains on the cuffs of his jacket sleeves. He also appeared to possess a long panther tail which appeared to swing rather freely, as well as matching the same color as the rest of his pants.

Upon revealing himself, the teal-colored alien decided to cut straight to the chase as he began to let Quasar know about his intentions.

Ledgic: The name's Ledgic. And I've come to this planet specifically because I was tasked with eliminating you on the spot.

As soon as he heard those words leaving Ledgic's mouth, Quasar decided to ask the teal-skin colored alien another question.

Quasar: "Eliminate"? Oh, I see. So, basically you're some kind of mercenary who's being paid to kill me, is that right?

Ledgic: Precisely.

After a bit of silence, Quasar immediately started talking to the likes of Ledgic again, with him putting his own two-cents on the matter at hand.

Quasar: Well, sorry to disappoint you, but I'm not exactly in a "dying" sort of mood today. Now, would you mind getting your sword off of my neck? It's starting to sting a little bit.

Much to Ledgic's surprise, Quasar used the fingers on his left hand in order to slightly move the sharp blade away from his neck. After seeing the boy's display of strength and defiance to his death threats, Ledgic swung his sword away from the Saiyan's neck before casually putting it away and immediately started talking to his target as Quasar turned around to finally see his assailant's face for himself.

Ledgic: Hehehehehe... I see that you aren't willing to go down without a fight, so what do you say, boy? Think you got what it takes to deal with the likes of me?

After he wiped the small amount of blood from his neck using his left hand, Quasar stared directly at Ledgic as his azure-colored orbs were locked with the alien's violet-colored orbs before giving his answer.

Quasar: Sure, why not? But not here. Let's take this fight someplace else. No offense, but I'd rather NOT have my best friend's nation getting turned into rubble. That alright with you?

Ledgic: Very well. Makes no difference to me.

Following this exchange, Quasar and Ledgic both levitated off the ground before shooting up into the sky and then flew away from the city at supersonic speeds in order to begin their fight.

Location: Lastation Outskirts - Forest of Lost Movement

Cutting back over to the likes of Gwen, she was making her way over to the sighting of the Dragon Ball as the female Saiyan flew through the air at her own leisurely pace. Eventually, after a couple of seconds passed, Gwen's radar started letting out a loud beeping sound, which was a strong indicator that she was getting close to her target. With a big smile on her face, Gwen decided to increase her speed as she immediately descended back to the ground at supersonic speeds before landing on both of her feet as her aura quickly faded away.

Then, from the corner of her eye, Gwen noticed something in the bushes which gave off a very, bright-orange colored glow. The female Saiyan walked over to the bushes and then squatted down to get a better look. Upon seeing it with her own eyes, Gwen let out a loud gasp as she found an orange-colored, crystalline sphere with three, five-pointed red-colored stars inside of the orb (almost akin to that of glass art).

Gwen's face lit up with excitement as she had finally managed to track down one of the seven Dragon Balls in the wild. She then picked up the round orange-colored orb before admiring it for a moment with a smile on her face.

Gwen: Heh heh heh! It's about time I found you. I definitely gotta show this to Boss once I get back!

After letting out a giggle, Gwen put both the Dragon Ball and the Dragon Radar into her pockets for safekeeping and then decided to make her way back towards Ace's spaceship, which was for all tense and purposes, her home as she wanted to immediately show off her findings to the Frost Demon back on the ship. However, right before she could even take another step, Gwen's ears suddenly perked up as she could hear a very faint sound that seemed to be getting louder and louder with each passing second.

Gwen: What the...? What's that noise?

Naturally confused by this sudden turn of events, Gwen immediately started looking around the area to try and locate the source of the loud, high-pitched sound which seemed to be closing in on her current location. Then, after a couple of seconds passed, the female Saiyan quickly turned around to see something that appeared to be hovering over the ground, while at the same time moving at an incredibly fast speed. At first glance, Gwen couldn't seem to make out what it was, but it seemed to be a rather large, metallic object. Eventually, the large metal object began closing in on Gwen, who simply stood in front of the vehicle's path, as she narrowed her eyes before lifting up her right foot and then said foot in order to stop the large vehicle right in its tracks.

Upon seeing it with her own eyes, Gwen was a bit surprised to know that the large, metallic object appeared to be a futuristic, jet propelled styled tank with a mostly dull-gray, bronze-yellow, and purple color scheme, along with it possessing two square missile launchers on both sides of its metallic frame. After getting a better look at the tank, Gwen decided to ask the person who was driving the vehicle a very important question.

Gwen: Hey, what the hell's your problem, buster?! Don't you know that speeding on this planet causes nothin' but accidents?!

After a few moments of silence had passed, Gwen was a little confused to not get so much as a single response to the driver.

Gwen: Umm... Hello...? Anybody in there?

It was at this point where several questions started filling the girl's mind as she was expecting someone to emerge from out of the tank, but instead she was met with cold silence as the tank appeared to be lifeless and immobile. This caused Gwen to look through the windshield to see whether or not there was a person behind the wheel, only for her to be shocked as the passenger seat appeared to be completely empty. This sight alone was enough for Gwen to look on in confusion.

Gwen: Say what...?

Then, just before she could think about how weird it was for a tank to be driving on its own, the large vehicle quickly came back online as its headlights began to glow a bright, scarlet-red color, which caused Gwen to gasp in shock and immediately jump backwards as something rather interesting had began to occur. From the female Saiyan's point of view, many parts of the large tank started to shift and move on their own as it then began to stand up with more of its parts freely shifting into place. Eventually, after a couple of seconds had passed, what stood before Gwen was no longer a mere tank, but a gigantic, purple-colored robot/cyborg which seemed to possess a few simian and rhinoceros-like features on it. As soon as it had finished its transformation, the large robot used its massive arms to pound on its armored chest like a gorilla before unleashing a mechanical-sounding roar of sheer power and dominance.

Gwen gasped a little bit as she was not expecting this to happen at all.

Gwen: (A giant robot that can transform into a tank?) Well, that's just-

It was then where the large cyborg's eyes stared directly at the female Saiyan with the intention of engaging her in battle. The robot then clenched its right hand into a fist before quickly throwing a right hook directly at Gwen, with the female Saiyan easily dodging the punch. After she successfully avoided getting hit, the massive robot spoke up once again, this time announcing its intentions.

Galleom: COMBAT MODE INITIATED. PREPARING TO ENGAGE AND TERMINATE FEMALE SAIYAN ENTITY. FOR THE SAKE OF MY CREATORS AND THEIR AMBITIONS, BATTLE UNIT SSBB-08: GALLEOM SHALL NOT ALLOW YOU TO LIVE.

As soon as she heard the word "terminate" from Galleom, Gwen simply smirked as her Saiyan instincts started to kick in and she quickly accepted the challenge right before her.

Gwen: Oh, really? All right then... Let's dance!

Then, shortly after she said those words, Gwen got into a fighting stance and glared directly at the massive, transforming robot.

Galleom immediately went on the offensive as the large robot started throwing punches at Gwen, who easily dodged or blocked every single attack thrown at her. After failing to see that wildly throwing out punches was not going to work, the massive automaton decided to switch up its tactics as Galleom started firing missiles at the likes of Gwen, who managed to successfully dodge the barrage of missiles with such speed and precision that she almost created the illusion of teleporting from place to place.

Then, right as soon as Galleom stopped firing missiles, Gwen decided to use this opportunity to go on the offensive herself as she flew straight towards the massive, combat robot. Seeing this, Galleom threw another right hook in an attempt to crush Gwen, but the female Saiyan saw the attack coming and easily moved out of the way before landing right behind Galleom. She then rushed at the massive robot and struck it with a powerful flying kick which sent it sliding backwards before following it up with an uppercut that knocked Galleom on its back.

As soon as she landed back on her feet, Gwen started flying towards Galleom, who instantly recovered from the last attack and transformed back into its tank form before charging straight at the female Saiyan, much to her surprise.

Gwen: Oh crap!

Upon getting close to its target, Galleom quickly transformed back into its robot mode and started swinging its massive fists at the female Saiyan once again, but Gwen was just too fast for any of the robot's punches to hit its intended target as she then leapt into the air before flying straight at Galleom with the intent of striking the large machine with another flying kick, which was unfortunately blocked by Galleom's punch as it caused a large shockwave throughout the forest area.

Galleom then tried to use its left hand in an attempt to grab and crush Gwen like a grape, but the female Saiyan vanished into thin air before Galleom's arm could even reach her. After a few seconds passed, Gwen reappeared right in front of the robot and then attacked it with a powerful roundhouse kick right to the left side of its face, causing it to stagger backwards a little bit. Wasting no time, Gwen followed up her assault by striking it directly in its chest area with a powerful left punch. After getting sent flying backwards, Galleom instantly recovered from the female Saiyan's attack and then transformed back into tank mode as it began firing a barrage of missiles at Gwen, with her responding to the situation by bringing her arms forward and then fired a uniquely, pinkish-red colored energy wave with a little bit of flame detailing at Galleom.

As soon as Gwen fired her ki blast, the missiles that were previously shot out by Galleom ended up colliding the Saiyan's attack which resulted in a large explosion, in addition to a smokescreen. Then, just when the smoke began to clear up, Galleom tried utilizing its infra-red scanners to try and pinpoint Gwen's heat signature, but unfortunately could not find a single trace of its target. The massive tank then attempted to get a better look of the surrounding area by driving away, however this plan would not get very far as Gwen quickly emerged from the smoke and charged straight at Galleom before sending the mechanical behemoth flying backwards as it transformed back into combat mode, though it appeared to be mostly stunned from the previous attack.

Gwen: I'm not done yet!

Shortly after saying this, Gwen quickly rushed over towards Galleom and started unleashing a flurry of fast-moving punches and kicks which were too much for the massive robot to properly defend against, as the sounds of clanking metal filled the air. The female Saiyan then knocked Galleom up into the air with a powerful kick before she teleported behind the large mecha and then knocked Galleom down with a double axe handle, which created a massive crater in the ground below. When the dust began to settle, Galleom was seen with several scratches, scuff marks, and cracks in its armor as light-blue sparks of electricity resonated around its body, which was a strong indicator that the large robot was critically damaged.

Galleom: ERROR... ERROR... BATTLE DAMAGE REACHING CRITICAL LEVELS AND CLIMBING... INTERNAL TRANSFORMATION MECHANISM HAS BEEN CRITICALLY DAMAGED DUE TO GROUND COLLISION. TANK MODE FUNCTIONS ARE NOW OFFLINE. PROBABILITY OF UNIT'S DESTRUCTION: 96.24%. LOGICAL COURSE OF ACTION: WITHDRAW FROM BATTLE AND RETURN TO BASE FOR IMMEDIATE REPAIRS.

Unfortunately for Galleom, escape would not come so easily for the mechanical behemoth as not only did it struggle to stand on its own two feet, but the damage was so severe that it could barely move any more than a couple steps away from the crater it just came out of. And then, right when it looked as if the fight was over, Gwen quickly spotted Galleom trying to make a tactical retreat, but she was not going to let it get the chance as she prepared to put an end to this fight once and for all.

Gwen: (I don't think so...)

It was then where Gwen raised her right hand up into the air and quickly formed a pinkish-red colored energy sphere. After forming this sphere of energy, Gwen shouted out the first words that came to her mind as her words also managed to garner the attention of the critically damaged Galleom, who just so happened to lay eyes upon the bright, reddish-pink colored light in the sky.

Gwen: Crush Cannon!!!

After saying the name of her attack, Gwen quickly thrusted her arm forward and then fired a barrage of her signature pinkish-red colored energy blasts at Galleom in rapid succession. The large robot saw the flurry of energy blasts raining down from Gwen's hand and tried its best to defend itself by firing the last of its missiles up into the air which managed to create a handful of explosions upon contact.

However, Gwen was not about to let this opportunity slip by her as the female Saiyan adjusted her glasses a tiny bit before she clenched both of her hands into fists as she started powering up.

Gwen: HAAAAAAAAAAAHHH!!!

As soon as she was done powering up, Gwen was now surrounded by a bright, golden-yellow colored fiery aura, in addition to having a very noticeable light-yellow glow that shined off her body.

A/N: This power-up that Gwen just unleashed is known as "Super Saiyan/partial manifestation" or "Super Saiyan Power", which is an ability most prominently seen in the Dragon Ball Z anime, particularly in filler/non-canon episodes. According to Dragon Ball Wiki: "It is possible for a Saiyan to partially manifest Super Saiyan power in their base form without actually turning into a Super Saiyan."

Following this, Gwen charged straight towards Galleom and then punched the massive robot straight in the chest area before letting out a loud yell as she immediately unleashed a large, powerful reddish-pink colored energy wave from her right hand, which completely engulfed Galleom's entire body and vaporized it into nothing but dust.

After a couple of seconds passed and the blast finally died down, there was no sign of Galleom anywhere. And not only that, but Gwen's energy blast was so powerful that not even a single tree could have survived the explosion; as well as the ground right in front of her having a massive scar imprinted into the dirt itself.

Then, not too long after she had finished off her mechanical adversary, Gwen's aura quickly disappeared as she then smirked while letting out a chuckling sound from her mouth.

Gwen: And that's that! Now then, I think I've had enough fun for one day. Time for me to head on back home and just relax for the rest of the day.

After she announced her intentions to herself, Gwen was about to make her way back towards Ace's ship in order to just spend the rest of her day in her room and take it easy. However, right before she could even leave, an extremely faint red glow suddenly grabbed her attention as she saw something from within the crater she had inadvertently created from her last attack.

The female Saiyan casually walked over to the sight of where the faint red glow originated and was rather surprised to see what the source really was. From Gwen's point of view, there was a rather small, garnet-red colored, cross-shaped gemstone that appeared to be lying on the ground.

Gwen: Hello. And what are you...?

Upon seeing this crystal, Gwen casually picked it up off the ground and started examining it for a little bit as she had never seen a gemstone like this one before in her entire life. As she continued to look at the cross-shaped crystal, several questions started filling her head.

Gwen: (What is this thing? And what exactly is it doing all the way out here? Was it buried in the dirt? Or...) ... Was it inside that robot I just fought...? But why? Could this gem have acted as its power source?

After she had finished talking to herself, Gwen simply stared at the cross-shaped gemstone for a few seconds before shaking her hand a little bit and instantly remembered what she was supposed to be doing.

Gwen: Oh well... I guess I'll find out soon enough. I gotta get back to the ship before Boss sends out a search party.

Then, as soon as she slipped the garnet-colored crystal into her pocket, Gwen immediately took to the skies as she flew in the direction of where Ace's spaceship was located, hoping to not only reveal her findings to her superior, but also to spend the rest of her day on relaxation.

However, unbeknownst to her, there was something else that was watching everything that just transpired as a very ominous-looking black crow with bright-purple eyes witnessed the battle from behind the scenes on a nearby tree branch. After a couple of seconds passed, the crow quickly spread its large wings outwards and immediately took flight to parts unknown.

Time: 3:00 PM

The scene then switched back over to the likes of Neptune and the rest of her friends as they all found themselves standing amidst a plain grassy field with vibrant-green colored grass, as well as having a handful of trees and small houses off into the distance. It was then where Black Heart started asking one of the women present about the monsters currently in the area.

Black Heart (Noire): This is the Nasuune Highlands, correct?

Village Woman #1: Yes, we've been overrun by Dogoos lately, and we don't have any heroes to help slay them.

It was then where everyone looked forward to see that the grassy plain was littered with a ton of Doggos, which were small, light-blue colored slime creatures with small black eyes that also appeared to possess similar traits to that of a dog; such as a beige-colored muzzle, a small black nose, pointy dark-brown colored ears, and finally a matching brown colored tail behind it.

Black Heart (Noire): You needn't worry. Miss Neptune and Miss Nepgear from our neighboring country have volunteered to deal with them for you.

Upon hearing this, Neptune couldn't help but complain a little bit as she did not expect to be doing some actual work in the field.

Neptune: Nep-what? Wait, I gotta work?

Nepgear: Well, it doesn't look too hard, I guess...

It was then where Black Heart looked back at Neptune and Nepgear with a small grin on her face as she decided to give them some form of advice.

Black Heart (Noire): Rule number three: "Show off whenever you can."

Uni then walked over towards Nepgear and pulled out her N-Gear tablet before explaining to the CPUs of Planeptune about what she was about to do.

Uni: I'll record it for you. We can make a PR reel.

Neptune: You're really making us grind?

Eventually, Neptune decided to do a little bit of arm and leg stretches in order to get warmed up as she realized that this quest might not be so bad after all.

Neptune: Well, these guys are so weak you can beat them with a Cypress Stick. Heck, I bet even my good buddy Quasar would see this as nothin' but a big ol' snooze fest!

After she was done warming up, Neptune rolled down the hill before performing one last front flip and then landing on the grass like a superhero.

Then, as soon as she stood back up, Neptune, with a confident smile on her face, held both of her hands in front of her before she materialized a katana with a black sheath into thin air and then quickly removed the sword from its sheath and got into a fighting stance. Neptune then called out to her younger sister to assist her in this battle.

Neptune: Come on, sis!

Nepgear: Right, you got it!

(Was not to be manipulated by fate)

Upon hearing her sister, Nepgear quickly made her way over towards Neptune and then brought out a futuristic-looking sword with a pink-colored blade made of pure, concentrated energy before getting into a fighting stance as she stood right beside her sister on the battlefield.

♪Dakishimete mamoritakute kakegae no nai kokoro wo♪

(Hold me, I want to protect your irreplaceable heart)

The two lilac-haired girls then ran down the hill at full speed with each of their respective swords in their hands as they made their way towards the Dogoos. Once she got close enough, Neptune leaped off the ground and then performed a downward slash with her katana as she easily defeated the Dogoo right in front of her, with it suddenly dispirited into tiny pixels. As for Nepgear, she quickly followed suit as she slashed another Dogoo with her beam saber as it also turned into pixels.

After seeing Nepgear defeat one of the Dogoos, Neptune looked over her shoulder and immediately started praising her younger sister over her stylish sword fighting skills, while also throwing in a three-finger peace sign at Nepgear with a proud smile on her face.

(I seek reform for our illusive earth)

Neptune: Now that was awesome! Must run in the family.

Upon hearing this level of praise from her big sister, Nepgear turned her head around and started smiling at Neptune while also nodding in agreement. However, the two sisters were not done just yet as more and more Dogoos had suddenly started appearing out of nowhere, with their numbers slowly increasing by the minute.

(My wish is to run towards dawn with noble ideals)

As soon as they saw the increasing number of Dogoos slowly close in on them, Neptune and Nepgear got into another stance, adjusted their swords, and then immediately started charging at the monsters with full confidence on their faces as they got ready for the next wave of enemies to eliminate.

Neptune: Chest Buster!

Nepgear: Get ready! I'll use my TRUE power!

♪Haruka kanata kara kikoeru kasuka ni watashi wo yobu koe♪

(I faintly heard a voice shouting for me from far away)

Meanwhile on the sidelines, Uni was seen taking numerous photos of both Neptune and Nepgear effortlessly taking out the Dogoo horde one after another.

♪Kioku wo kousaku sasete atsui kizamizuita♪

(I let it burn into my memory)

Then, shortly after she took one last photo of the two sisters, Uni smiled and immediately turned her head over to Black Heart, only to find her older sibling looking at the battle right in front of her with a strict and stoic look on her face as she also had both of her arms crossed, which was something that made Uni's face change from excited to worried as Black Heart appeared to be completely unimpressed by what was happening on the battlefield.

Eventually, it was becoming very apparent that there were just too many Dogoos for both Nepgear and Neptune to handle on their own, which was a sentientment that was shared by IF and Compa as they continued to watch on from the sidelines until IF decided to speak up about the situation at hand.

(People look to others for their answers)

IF: There's simply too many of them.

As soon as IF finished talking, Compa pumped herself up and told her best friend about what they needed to do.

Compa: Then we better get stomping, Iffy! Let's go!

Upon hearing this, IF quickly agreed with Compa's words and decided to get out there and help her two friends with the ever-growing number of monsters.

IF: Sounds good.

It was then where Black Heart's expression on her face suddenly changed from stoic to one of surprise as she watched both IF and Compa sprinting their way over towards Neptune and Nepgear at full speed to aid them in their fight.

(It's fleeting but intense, endlessly burning away its life)

As soon as they saw the reinforcements, Neptune and Nepgear both stopped fighting and smiled as they were both happy to see two of their good friends coming in to fight alongside them, with Neptune even calling out their names.

Neptune: Iffy! Compa!

Unfortunately, this little distraction was more than enough for a single Dogoo to sneak up on Nepgear and lick her face with its tongue, making her feel a bit uncomfortable by the sensation.

♪Yuruginai omoi wo himeta hitomi♪

(My eyes filled with secret devotion)

Eventually, IF managed to leap forward and then quickly pulled out a pair of razor-sharp qatars from the oversized sleeves of her large blue coat before she used her weapons to slice three Dogoos into pieces like a hot knife through butter, all while hitting a very cool pose like a ninja upon landing back on her feet.

And as for Compa, she managed to suddenly materialize an abnormally large-sized syringe with an unknown pink-colored substance inside of it from out of nowhere as it appeared over her head, with her also getting ready to attack one of the Dogoos.

♪Yami no naka ni hikari wo motarashita♪

(Brought out the light from inside the dark)

Compa: And here I come!

Then, shortly after saying those words, Compa used her gigantic syringe in order to squish another Dogoo with relative ease, all the while she had an extremely friendly smile on her face as she was more than happy to destroy a monster alongside her friends.

(Like a hand reaching for the future)

After slashing away yet another Dogoo, Neptune felt the need to get a little bit cocky as she thought the enemies she and the others were facing were simply too easy for her to get her blood pumping.

Neptune: They're just a trash mob. This is a piece of cake.

♪Kizutsuita tte nani mo kowaku wa nai♪

(I was hurt but have nothing to fear now)

Unfortunately, right after she finished that sentence, an entire legion of Dogoos had suddenly appeared from out of nowhere and started to close in on Neptune, Nepgear, IF, and Compa, which was something that made all four girls gasp in shock as they were not expecting that many monsters floating in the sky above their heads.

(Because you, my darling, are always with me)

As soon as she saw the large horde of Dogoos with her own eyes, Uni naturally became increasingly worried for the others as she then turned to look at her big sister, with her immediately suggesting that the two of them should jump in to assist the visitors from Planeptune.

Uni: Hey, Noire! Maybe we should help them before this gets-

Black Heart (Noire): No.

Then, right after she quickly and rather coldly cut off her sister's words, Black Heart looked over at Uni and then gave her reasoning as to why she refused to go down there and help out Neptune and the others.

Black Heart (Noire): It's meaningless if they don't accomplish this for themselves.

After Black Heart had finished talking to her younger sister, Uni was unfortunately left with no other choice but to simply continue looking on from the sidelines and become more and more concerned over the safety of her friends.

Back on the battlefield, it was at this very moment where things had started taking a rather... "unique" turn as the Dogoos had begun overwhelming the four girls with sheer numbers, with one of them licking IF's armpits and making the brown-haired girl very uncomfortable.

IF: Hey! Don't touch me there!

IF then pushed the Dogoo off her arm and it was suddenly revealed that the other Dogoos managed to find themselves in a few particular areas; such as two of them that were currently trying to get inside of Compa's wooly sweater, one Dogoo that was on her right leg, and finally another one that was resting on top of Compa's head like a hat.

Compa: This feels gross! Cut it out!

♪Meguru ryuusei hatenaki tabibito♪

(The orbiting meteor is a traveler with no destination)

And as for Nepgear, she was probably receiving the most unpleasant experience out of the other girls as a handful of Dogoos were not only gathering around her like a flock of seagulls at the beach, but there was one that was sitting on her left leg, another one that was on the back of her neck and hair, and finally a third one which was seen going up her school uniform, making her feel the most uncomfortable out of anyone currently present.

Nepgear: Are you kidding me? Stop, you naughty dog!

(It's fleeting but intense, endlessly burning away its life)

However, in a rather shocking turn of events, the one person was not getting "violated" by the Dogoo horde was in fact Neptune as she was seen lying on the ground with a bunch of the slime monsters simply surrounding her and just started licking her in various places around her body like how a normal dog would do to its owner as a form of affection, which was something that made the Goddess of Planeptune laugh out loud since she was actually quite ticklish.

Neptune: Hahahahaha! Ooh, that tickles! Hahahahaha! I'm gonna die laughing!

♪Yuruginai omoi wo himeta hitomi♪

(My eyes filled with secret devotion)

Back with IF, another Dogoo jumped onto her coat causing it to fall off of her shoulders and making her see that there was now an entire army of Dogoos which were seen for miles on end.

(Brought out the light from inside the dark)

Upon seeing this large mob of Dogoos lining up to "dog-pile" them into oblivion, Compa looked at the horde of slime monsters with a tired look on her face, as Nepgear was already on the ground and her face in the grass with the same Dogoo on her back and another one still underneath her dress, all while she started begging for it to be over.

Nepgear: Please... No more...

(Like a hand reaching for the future)

And just like before, Neptune appeared to be mostly fine as she was still laughing out loud like she heard a very funny joke and not worried at all over the circumstances that she and the others found themselves in.

(I was hurt but have nothing to fear now)

Eventually, after more and more Dogoos started making their way over towards the four girls, IF finally had enough of the shenanigans as she let out a vicious-sounding yell and then finally mustered up the strength to push the slime creatures off of her body as they started flying in many directions.

♪Yasashii kimi ga soko ni iru kara♪

(Because you, my darling, are always with me)

Then, without wasting a single beat, IF destroyed one of the falling Dogoos with a single slash from her weapon and then started talking like a crazy person as she also had a very menacing smile on her face with her green eyes also looking a bit smaller to help emphasize that IF was not in the best frame of mind at the moment.

IF: All right, you little punks! I'll send you souls to a world of despair! Flame Soul Slice! You're dead!

At this point, everybody just stood there and watched as IF, who seemed to be going on a bit of a frenzy, started tearing through the rest of the Dogoo horde like she was a playable character in a "Hack 'N' Slash" style game, and based off the sounds she was letting out, IF seemed to be loving every single second of the carnage.

However, there was only one person who was not pleased by what she was seeing right in front of her as Black Heart narrowed her bright, cyan-colored eyes and simply glared at Neptune in particular with a serious-looking frown on her face before she started talking to herself with a hint of disappointment in her voice.

Black Heart (Noire): ... Neptune... You're not even trying, are you?

Eventually, after several minutes had come and gone, the grassy field was no longer swarming with Dogoos as IF was able to successfully clear out the monster horde, although to say that she was completely worn out from going off like she did as she was breathing heavily, in addition to having her head down so that she could catch her breath, only for her to quickly drop to her knees in exhaustion. The rest of the villagers could finally see the rest of the beautiful grassy landscape for themselves without having to see a single monster roaming around the place, which of course brought a smile to their faces. As for everyone else, Nepgear and Compa were both seen covered in a tiny bit of blue-colored slime which were left over from the Dogoos that attacked them, as well as laying on the ground letting out a tired sigh of relief as it was finally over.

Meanwhile, Neptune finally managed to sit up and let out a tired sigh of her own as she was also a tiny bit exhausted from getting tickled by a bunch of slimy creatures over and over again. In addition, her short-sleeved jacket also appeared to be drooping off her left shoulder as it appeared to be a bit more loose than it should be, which more than likely came from the relentless assault of Dogoos that were just licking her body a few moments ago.

Neptune: Ugh... That settles it. I'm never eating jelly again for as long as I live.

It was then where Black Heart floated over towards Neptune with a disappointed look on her face as she immediately asked her fellow CPU a rather interesting question that has been plaguing her mind since she watched Neptune fight off the Dogoos.

Black Heart (Noire): Why didn't you use your Goddess Form? Those Dogoo would've been a piece of cake if you had just gotten more serious.

Neptune then turned her head and looked back at Black Heart before quickly giving her an incredibly carefree smile, in addition to answering her question without any further thought.

Neptune: Who cares? It turned out okay in the end, right?

Unfortunately for her, Black Heart did not appear to be satisfied with that answer as she immediately started lambasting Neptune for being too nonchalant and more than willing to allow others to fight her battles for her, instead of relying on her own individual strength.

Black Heart (Noire): Only because you had other people to cover for you! I swear, this kind of thing is EXACTLY why your Shares are always-!!

Fortunately, Black Heart managed to quickly stop herself mid-sentence so as to not let Neptune know about something very important. Instead, Black Heart simply looked away from the lilac-haired preteen and then decided to just finish the rest of this mission alone, especially since Neptune was, in her eyes, clearly not suitable for this particular job.

Black Heart (Noire): Uhh, you know what, nevermind! I'll take care of this whole ordeal on my own!

She then looked over her left shoulder and started talking to the villagers about where she could find the Toruunay Cave.

Black Heart (Noire): Lead the way to Toruunay Cave.

Village Woman #2: Right. Yes, ma'am.

It was then where Uni decided to speak up, albeit with a tiny sliver of shyness in her voice, as she wanted to accompany her sister in clearing out the monsters that were inside of the cave.

Uni: I-I'll come with you.

Unfortunately, Uni's words fell on deaf ears as Black Heart simply looked over her right shoulder and refused her younger sister's request in defeating the remaining monsters together.

Black Heart (Noire): I'll be alright. You stay here and try to clean up all this goop.

Then, after hearing those words come out of her sister's mouth, Uni simply looked on with a hint of sadness on her face as she just watched Black Heart and one of the villagers making their way over towards the Toruunay Cave.

Village Woman #2: This way.

Black Heart (Noire): Thank you.

After making their way over to Toruunay Cave, Neptune spoke up once again with the same carefree smile on her face as she then said something which both she and Uni could somewhat agree on.

Neptune: Man, she sure is uptight, huh? I mean, not even Reiko or Ace are that kind of high-strung, and those two are always so serious.

Neptune then turned her head over towards Uni as she wanted to ask her about something.

Neptune: Oh, Uni! Did you get any good pics?

Upon hearing this, Uni quickly remembered what Neptune was talking about and started showing the CPU of Planeptune all of the photos that she took of both Neptune and Nepgear fighting off the horde of Dogoos, all the while looking like they were a bunch of professionals. Needless to say, Neptune was pretty impressed by how good these photos came out.

Neptune: Dude! So cute! Let's forward these to me. Bloop!

After she sent the photos to her own personal email, Uni helped Neptune off the ground before she quickly remembered something important and then asked the girl standing in front of her about it.

Uni: Hey, if you don't mind me asking, but how's Quasar doing? I haven't heard from him this past month and I guess I forgot to ask Nepgear about him.

Neptune: Huh? Quasar? Oh, he's been pretty good. Last I heard he's been doing nothin' but training all day, every day. Other than that, I think he's doing just fine!

As soon as she heard this, Uni couldn't help but giggle a little bit as she had a feeling Neptune would say those words.

Uni: Is that so? Honestly, I'm not even surprised. Things may be peaceful around here, but even so, he never stops trying to push past his limits and get even stronger. I kinda respect it.

Neptune smiled and nodded at Uni's statement as the two girls started looking up at the bright-blue sky while also keeping their Saiyan friend in their mind.

Neptune: Yeah... I'm sure he's doing something awesome right about now. In fact, I think it's about time we check back in on our alien friend. AzureSiege2001, take it away, boss!

Location: Planeptune Outskirts

Following Neptune and company's encounter with the Dogoos in the Nasuune Highlands, the scene quickly shifted over to the likes of Quasar Kaze as he was seen flying through the air with Ledgic following him. After soaring through the sky for about twenty-five minutes, the two aliens quickly spotted an abandoned factory in the middle of nowhere, which was also overrun with lust-green vegetation and dull-gray, dilapidated buildings all over the place.

Upon seeing this, Quasar stopped flying and performed a few flips in the air before landing safely back onto the ground and inside the plaza area of the rundown facility, with Ledgic landing a couple feet away from him as the two of them simply glared at one another. Then, after a few seconds of utter silence had passed, Quasar started taking off his morning workout clothes and revealed that he was actually wearing his standard martial arts uniform underneath those other layers of fabric before casually throwing his previous clothes to the side after letting out a relieved sigh as he felt more comfortable wearing his gi as opposed to the other stuff.

As soon as he saw this, Ledgic was actually the first one to drop his glare and just started smirking at the young Saiyan.

Ledgic: So tell me, boy. Are you ready to get down to business?

Quasar: Oh yeah, I'm ready. Although, I should probably warn you that I'm not someone you can take down so easily.

Interestingly enough, Ledgic started chuckling darkly at Quasar before he started talking once again.

Ledgic: Hmph! The same goes for me. And you'll quickly learn enough that I am truly a breed apart from many of the other weak creatures residing on this planet. Prepare yourself!

Then, right after he was done talking, the two of them stared directly at one another as they were now ready to commence with their fight.

It was then where Quasar and Ledgic both dashed straight at each other and quickly started the fight by swinging their respective right hands forward as they clashed fists with one another. After this brief clash of fists, Ledgic jumped back a few inches and then raised his right hand before he started firing a barrage of red-colored energy blasts at Quasar, who was able to successfully dodge every single one of them as the ki blasts managed to destroy a portion of the buildings, creating a massive hole in the wall.

After retreating back into the air, Ledgic teleported right behind Quasar and attempted to strike his opponent with a surprise roundhouse kick, only for the Saiyan to easily see the attack coming a mile away as he easily blocked Ledgic's kick with his right arm before turning around and then started dodging two of his punches, as well as a backflip kick that was coming to strike him. Thankfully, Quasar was able to grab Ledgic's left leg before his attack could even follow through and then let out a strong yell as he throw the teal-colored alien back down to the ground. However, right before he could even hit the ground, Ledgic managed to rebalance himself in mid-air before he raised his hand for a second time and then fired a barrage of heat-seeking energy waves at Quasar once again, which resulted in a large-scale explosion as it appeared that the Saiyan was caught right in the middle of it.

Following this, Ledgic ascended higher into the air and then pulled the two spikes on his jacket out of his shoulders, with the spikes suddenly glowing a bright-green color as they transformed into a pair of swords which he proudly dual wielded as he waited for Quasar to emerge from the large cloud of smoke.

After a couple of seconds passed and the smoke cloud faded away, Ledgic widened his eyes a little bit as his heightened senses were able to detect someone trying to attack from behind as he quickly spun around and slashed the very air itself with his blades, with it eventually being revealed that Quasar was the one who was trying to sneak up from behind Ledgic. As soon as he saw the sword swinging, Quasar ducked underneath the attack in order to avoid getting his head sliced off. Ledgic then started thrusting both of his swords forward in rapid succession to try and get a good clean hit on Quasar until the young Saiyan was able to stop one of Ledgic's swords using his right hand before Ledgic attempted to strike him down with the other sword in his other hand, only for Quasar to catch the attack with his left hand.

The two warriors then found themselves in a momentary struggle as Ledgic appeared to be struggling to try and swing his weapons down, whereas Quasar managed to hold the two swords in place without breaking a sweat. Eventually, Quasar mustered up the strength to easily snap both of Ledgic's swords in half using his two hands, only for him to get kicked straight in the chest, causing him to be sent flying downwards at supersonic speeds as he smashed through the building's walls. Ledgic quickly followed up on this assault by instantly teleporting right behind Quasar as he continued to fall out of the sky and punched the Saiyan in the jaw and sent flying through the building again as he got sent flying back up into the air.

As this was all going on, the same black crow that had previously been observing over Gwen Parker's fight with Galleom appeared to be watching the battle between Quasar and Ledgic unfold from the safety of a nearby tree, with its bright-purple eyes carefully observing every single aspect of the fight without making a single noise or missing a single part of the action.

Back with Ledgic, he flew straight up into the sky before pulling out a single spike from his left shoulder, with this one transforming itself into a long spear-like weapon. As for Quasar, shortly after he was able to regain his composure and stop himself mid-air, he quickly turned around and gasped as he saw Ledgic coming straight towards with a spear. Then, as soon as Ledgic got close, Quasar managed to move out of the way of the spear, only for Ledgic to use the other end of his weapon around as he easily slammed Quasar down to the ground.

Then, after quickly recovering from the previous attack, Quasar floated back up into the sky to confront Ledgic as he used his left hand to wipe away some traces of blood from his cheek before he started looking at the teal-colored alien with a smirk on his face.

Quasar: I gotta hand it to you, Ledgic. You are very powerful. I bet you could give someone like Frieza a real run for his money.

Unfortunately for Quasar, his words of flattery did not appear to work on Ledgic as he simply stared at the young Saiyan with a serious look on his face before speaking up once more.

Ledgic: Don't patronize me. I'm fully aware that you're hiding your true strength... As am I. So, why don't you stop wasting my time and show me what you REALLY do, "Saiyan"?

As soon as he heard this, Quasar's eyes widened a little bit as he was somewhat dumbfounded and surprised to see that his opponent already knew exactly what kind of species he was in explicit detail, with Ledgic proudly smirking at the Saiyan like he had the whole fight in the palm of his hand.

However, the opposite was true as Quasar quickly decided to take things up a notch before he started talking to the alien mercenary once again, although this time, he did not appear to be discouraged as spoke with nothing but confidence in his tone of voice.

Quasar: Alright then... No more playing around! Let's finish this!

Then, shortly after he said those words, Quasar closed his eyes in order to concentrate before he started to clench both of his hands into fists as an incredibly thin, golden-colored aura had now completely surrounded his entire body, much to Ledgic's confusion. From the sidelines, the eyes of the crow were now entirely dead centered on the likes of Quasar Kaze as it quickly noticed that the Saiyan's hair was suddenly flashing a bright-yellow before quickly returning back to its signature jet-black color.

Eventually, after a couple of seconds passed, Quasar opened his eyes and immediately started roaring as he flexed his muscles and then proceeded to power up once more to his absolute maximum.

Quasar: Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!! RRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHHHH!!!

After his roar quickly transitioned into a full-blown yell that was brimming with pure, unbridled rage and anger, an extremely bright flash of golden-colored light immediately shot out of Quasar's body as the young warrior had just transformed into a Super Saiyan, with him quickly shooting a powerful glare right in Ledgic's general direction.

In this form, Quasar's signature black hair has now become a very luxurious, golden-blonde color, with his peach-colored skin now having a much lighter complexion to it, and his hair had also become a bit more spiky/upturned as it now stood upwards with no loose strands, giving it a rising, flame-like appearance to it. Additionally, his bright-blue irises had now become a much more solid, turquoise/bluish-green color with no visible pupils, and his overall facial expression had become a bit more aggressive, with his eyes also gaining sharpened corners. Lastly, his power was so great that he now was completely enveloped in a bright, golden-yellow colored aura which also appeared to be constantly flowing upwards like an intense flame.

"The ultimate Saiyan warrior that surpasses the limits of a regular Saiyan. Originally, the existence of this form outside of legend was doubted even among Saiyans, but in reality, any Saiyan that possesses a high battle power above the standard level is capable of becoming a Super Saiyan. Possessing a calm heart, sensing extreme danger, feeling strong anger or sadness, or a danger to the Saiyan race itself seem to be states that are the essential keys to transforming. The outward signs of the transformation include an aura, golden hair that stands straight up, and sharp, hawk-like eyes with emerald-green pupils. In addition, a battle power 50 times that of normal is proof of the legendary mightiest warrior."

Upon seeing the transformation for himself, Ledgic was left completely dumbfounded as he did not expect his opponent to possess such a powerful state like this before in his entire life.

Ledgic: What?!!

Then, without uttering a single word, the fully-transformed Super Saiyan quickly dashed towards the teal-colored alien and let out a warrior's cry, with him clenching his right fist incredibly tight and then slowly bringing it out forward to strike his heavily armed opponent. In an attempt to shield himself from the young Saiyan's punch, Ledgic quickly brought his spear close towards his exposed chest in order to block the attack. Unfortunately, Quasar's punch proved to be incredibly strong as his fist managed to easily break the spear into pieces before he then proceeded to deliver a strong, yet devastating punch straight to Ledgic's gut, causing him to cough up small bits of blood and saliva from his mouth.

Upon recovering from the attack, Ledgic quickly grabbed onto two spikes that were hanging off his chain cuffs and then tried to drive them straight into Quasar's skull, but the Super Saiyan warrior easily blocked both of Ledgic's improved two-weapons with his elbows as he followed it up by kicking the bounty hunter in the chin with a somersault kick and then quickly following it up with an elbow strike that sent Ledgic flying backwards. Quasar then flew straight towards the still airborne Ledgic at supersonic speeds and then started unleashing a barrage of punches and kicks, with him even teleporting between each and every single hit, thus making it virtually impossible for Ledgic to defend himself against the young Saiyan. Eventually, Quasar sent his opponent flying once again with a strong roundhouse kick to the face, then teleporting behind him and striking him with a left hook, and finally ending the combo with a double axe handle that sent him crashing down to the ground.

After a few seconds passed, Ledgic emerged from the large crater in the ground and charged straight at Quasar like a rocketship exiting the earth's atmosphere before quickly throwing a right hook directly at Quasar, only for the golden-haired warrior to easily block the attack using only his left arm, which ended up sending out shockwaves that could be felt through the air. Upon seeing that Quasar was able to successfully block his punch, Ledgic tried to back away from the Saiyan, but Quasar charged up his ki and then quickly went on the offensive as he struck him in the face with a strong elbow that sent Ledgic flying backwards. Quasar then flew up into the air and hook kicked his opponent right in his stomach before following it up with a punch along with a flurry of kicks as he roundhouse kicked Ledgic away. Finally, Quasar once again flew straight towards the teal-colored alien at full speed before slamming him down to the ground with a powerful hand chop.

Then, shortly after getting knocked out of the sky, Ledgic managed to quickly regain his composure before landing on the roof of the massive building and then raised his right arm directly up into the air, with him slowly gathering up energy in order to create a powerful blast of energy to destroy the Super Saiyan warrior. Upon seeing this, Quasar wasted no time and began charging up his own signature energy attack as he brought both of his arms close to his far side, with him gathering a considerable amount of energy into one final blast.

Quasar (Super Saiyan): Ka... Me... Ha... Me...

Unfortunately, Ledgic let out a fierce yell as he quickly fired a large, red-colored energy wave from the palm of his hand, with said energy wave currently flying straight towards Quasar, who was still in the midst of charging up his own attack.

Quasar (Super Saiyan): HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!

Then, after gathering up all of the energy he needed, Quasar shouted at the top of his lungs and quickly thrusted both of his arms forward as he fired a Super Kamehameha wave downward, with it not only colliding with Ledgic's own energy blast, but also pushing it back with very minimum effort as the cobra-headed warrior stood in awe at the sheer might of the young Saiyan until he was ultimately engulfed by the Kamehameha wave, causing him to scream out in pain as a massive explosion had completely destroyed a portion of the facility, with several chunks of debris flying all over the place.

After firing his energy blast down at his opponent, Quasar dropped out of Super Saiyan and reverted back into his base form as he took a deep breath before quickly spotting Ledgic, who appeared to still be alive, as he was currently lying in a small, human-shaped crater in the ground near some rubble with a handful of scratches and bruises all across his body.

Upon seeing the teal-colored alien no longer in a position to fight, Quasar slowly floated back down to the ground before landing a couple feet in front of Ledgic before he started talking to him with his usual, happy-go-lucky demeanor.

Quasar: Man! That was a good fight! I bet you'd be even stronger if you trained a little more.

The young Saiyan then closed his eyes and just casually smiled at Ledgic as he continued on with his sentence.

Quasar: As a matter of fact... I wouldn't mind fighting you again someday just for fun! That way, we could BOTH see how far we've come. Wouldn't that just be the coolest thing ever?

After Quasar had finished talking, Ledgic simply stared at the Saiyan before ultimately smirking at his former target as he could not help but find Quasar's cheerful attitude to be somewhat intriguing.

Ledgic: ... For a member of the Saiyan race, you certainly are an unusual one. Never have I met a single one of your kind that would openly wish to challenge someone for the sake of friendly competition.

Quasar then placed both of his arms behind his spiky head before speaking up once again.

Quasar: Well, of course. I've never been the type of guy to just turn down a fight against somebody who might be just as powerful as I am before, and I don't think I'll plan on starting now.

Upon hearing the Saiyan's words for himself, Ledgic couldn't help but smile a little bit as Quasar's overzealous nature was more than enough for him to start chuckling out loud. Then, after he was done laughing, Ledgic managed to stand back up, albeit with a small degree of difficulty as he appeared to still be hurt from the battle, which was something that instantly caught Quasar's attention.

Quasar: H-Hey, are you okay? Should I take you to the hospital?

Ledgic: I'll be fine. Don't worry about it.

After giving his opponent a very cold answer, Ledgic started walking towards Quasar before stopping dead in his tracks and then looked down at the Saiyan with his trademark stoic expression on his face.

Ledgic: I'll let you off the hook for now. But next time, I will be victorious over you, Quasar Kaze!

Rather than being intimidated by his words, Quasar just smirked at Ledgic before quickly giving him a response to his declaration of a potential rematch in the near future.

Quasar: Oh yeah? Well, anytime you wanna have a rematch, just let me know. I'll be ready and waiting to take you on again!

As soon as he heard this, Ledgic once again smiled at the young Saiyan before he continued to walk away from the area quietly, leaving Quasar all alone in the ruined facility. The spiky-haired warrior then stretched both of his arms out before he started talking to himself.

Quasar: Well, that was fun. Now, if there aren't any more interruptions for me to deal with in this chapter, then I think I should be heading back home now. Plus, I'm pretty sure Neptune wants to be in the spotlight again.

Then, after nonchalantly breaking the fourth wall, Quasar powered up and unleashed just enough power to blast off towards the city of Planeptune at hypersonic speeds, leaving the dilapidated building behind. However, unbeknownst to Quasar, he was being watched as the black crow witnessed everything that transpired before it leaped off the tree branch and flew away into the distance, with it actually replaying the entire battle in its eyes.

Location: Lastation Outskirts - Toruunay Cave

Time: 3:20 PM

The scene then quickly shifted over to Black Heart as she was currently inside of the Toruunay Cave, which appeared to have numerous periwinkle-blue colored crystals sticking out of both the ground and the walls of the cavern. The CPU of Lastation appeared to be fending off several monsters all by herself, with her using her sword to slice a humanoid-shaped mushroom type of creature in half like it was nothing.

Black Heart (Noire): Perish!!!

After destroying the monster, it quickly dispirited into small pixels before she quickly turned around and used her sword to easily block a surprise attack from another monster inside of the cave, which took the form of a humanoid lizard with mechanical parts around its body as it wielded both a battle axe and a shield in its arms. Then, after smirking at her opponent, Black Heart performed a powerful upward slash which was more than enough to destroy the attacking monster with ease.

Black Heart then slowly floated over the ground as she simply stared off into the distance, with it being apparent that there were no more monsters hidden inside the cave.

Black Heart (Noire): A dead end, huh? Guess that's a wrap then.

However, right as she was about to make her back towards the entrance of the large cave, the sound of a deep-sounding growl managed to quickly grab Black Heart's attention as she turned around to see a rather large creature looking directly at her with sinister intent behind its golden-yellow eyes.

From the shadows, a massive, bipedal dragon-like creature emerged from the darkness inside the cave. The large dragon that appeared had mostly tan/light-brown colored scales seen across its entire body, white-colored skin around its chest, hands, and feet, black-colored, sharp pointy horn-like spikes on its head, forearms, and large shoulder pauldrons. Lastly, the dragon also appeared to have glowing, golden-yellow colored irises.

Upon seeing the dragon with her own eyes, Black Heart quickly called out the name of the large beast as she knew exactly what it was standing right in front of her.

Black Heart (Noire): That's an Ancient Dragon!

Then, after making its presence known, the Ancient Dragon unleashed a powerful, yet ferocious-sounding roar from its mouth that resonated throughout the cave before quickly setting its sights on Black Heart, with it attempting to squash the CPU like an insect using its massive right claw. Fortunately, the Goddess of Lastation was able to dodge the incoming attack by floating backwards as she then looked at the large dragon with a confident smile on her face.

Black Heart (Noire): You may actually put up a fight!

Right after she said those words, Black Heart wasted no time and charged straight towards the Ancient Dragon before quickly readied her sword in order to properly attack the massive beast.

Black Heart (Noire): Take this!!!

Then, just as she was about to strike down upon the Ancient Dragon, it was then where a much smaller monster appeared on the large dragon's head, much to Black Heart's surprise. The monster in question was a small weasel-like creature with dark-red colored fur, a golden knight's helmet on its head, and finally a pair of matching gold-colored metal claws on its hands. As soon as she saw the weasel-like creature, Black Heart was left completely off-guard as the small monster leaped off the Ancient Dragon's head and then headbutted the Goddess of Lastation right in the stomach area, which was enough to knock her back down to the ground and landing near a wall where a rather small, mysterious red glowing object appeared to be lying on the ground right besides the fallen CPU.

After getting knocked to the ground and her sword vanished into thin air, Black Heart tried to get back on her feet in order to continue the fight with the Ancient Dragon, but it was at that moment where something rather unusual began to occur as she suddenly started to feel a bit dizzy, which also caused her transformation to malfunction as Black Heart was somehow forced to immediately revert back into her base form.

Confused by this sudden turn of events, Noire took a moment to look at her left hand as she was completely unsure of how her HDD powers deactivated on its own. Unfortunately, this mysterious circumstance was now the least of Noire's worries as she quickly noticed that the Ancient Dragon now stood a couple of feet in front of where she was currently sitting.

The large beast now appeared to have the black-haired girl trapped inside the cave with no clear way of defending herself to avoid getting eaten or potentially killed for trespassing into its domain. As for Noire, she was completely overwhelmed by her current loss of power and could simply do nothing but look on in horror as she was now scared for her own well-being and silently prayed for someone to come and rescue her from this situation.

But then, just as the Ancient Dragon was about to finish Noire off, a certain lilac-haired heroine suddenly arrived onto the scene with her sword in hand, but not before letting out a loud cry as a way of letting her presence known.

Neptune: Hi-yah!

Wasting no time at all, Neptune came to Noire's rescue by delivering a strong flying kick straight to the dragon's head and jawline. After making this dramatic entrance, Neptune took a minute to look at Noire with a confident smile on her face, with Noire simply looking up at her fellow CPU in straight awe as she was not expecting Neptune of all people to save her from the Ancient Dragon's wrath. Additionally, the force of Neptune's flying kick was so powerful that it actually managed to completely disorient the Ancient Dragon as it quickly lost balance and fell to the ground in pain.

Following this attack on the large monster, Neptune managed to successfully land on her feet a couple inches away from where Noire was sitting as she had her left hand on the ground and her right hand gripping onto her katana, with her letting out a cheeky response to everyone inside the cave.

Neptune: Wazzup!

Noire could still only look at Neptune with a surprised expression on her face as the girl in purple looked over at her fellow CPU with a look of concern on her face as she quickly noticed that Noire appeared to no longer be in her HDD form.

Neptune: Hey, you're human again. What happened?

Noire: I don't even know myself. It's strange...

Then, shortly after she answered Neptune's question, Noire quickly noticed the Ancient Dragon getting back on its feet and then making its way over to where Neptune was currently standing, which prompted Noire to alert her fellow CPU about the incoming attack.

Noire: Look out!

After those words escaped from Noire's mouth, Neptune looked over to her left and quickly spotted the Ancient Dragon making an attempt to strike the lilac-haired girl with its massive right claw. However, Neptune's instincts kicked in as she perfectly swung her sword at just the right moment to easily block the much larger monster's attack. From where Noire was currently standing, she could only watch in amazement as the Goddess of Planeptune's katana appeared to be clashing with that of the Ancient Dragon's right claw, with bright-orange sparks beginning to fly around the cave.

Seeing this as the perfect opportunity to show her stuff, Neptune suddenly spoke up in order to let Noire know something very crucial.

Neptune: See?!! This is the time... when a Goddess should transform FOR REAL!!!

Upon saying those exact words, Neptune decided that now would be the best time to actually get serious as she successfully managed to push the Ancient Dragon off of her by putting a bit more power into her sword as she performed a single slash that forced the monster's claw off her weapon.

Then, after performing another sword slash in the air, Neptune smiled confidently before quickly saying the first thing that came to her mind.

Following this, Neptune closed her eyes for a brief moment before quickly opening them once again as she was now ready to access her true power as Planeptune's CPU by transforming into her own HDD Form. With this process now underway, Neptune suddenly started glowing as a thin, bright-lavender colored aura quickly surrounded her entire body as she then proceeded to "metaphorically" touch the sharicite residing within her chest before two massive, purple-colored futuristic rings started circled around the lilac-haired girl as she readied herself to begin the transformation.

The first thing she did was strike a pose by swinging her arms outward as a rather large purple glyph appeared from underneath her very feet before she quickly leaped off the digital-looking platform with a happy-looking smile on her face. After this, several bits of Neptune's clothes such as her dress, jacket, armbands, socks, and shoes quickly disappeared into bits of digital-looking energy, with her body now glowing a bright-white color with a very faint purple tint to it. Then, after closing her eyes once again, Neptune's hair had suddenly begun to grow out more, with it almost reaching her feet before quickly turning into a set of braided twin tails, with the rest of the hair itself framing her face also appearing to be much longer as well. Additionally, her hair also appeared to be a much darker shade of lilac-purple. Also, in her hair, she wore a set of black circular hair clips with neon-blue D-pads shaped on them.

It was then where her body suddenly materialized a brand-new set of clothes for Neptune as she now seen wearing a mostly black, skin-tight leotard with purple and light-blue detailing on it around the torso and arms which profoundly exposed her cleavage somewhat, with the middle of the torso has purple mesh, allowing a vague vertical view of her stomach area. Her shoes had also transformed into a pair of thigh-high boots with octagon patterns on the side at the very top; one filled with purple and another with just a white outline. Upon reaching this new attire, a pair of translucent, neon-pink colored wings appeared behind her back. Neptune then opened her eyes which revealed that they had changed from her trademark violet to a bright, azure-blue color with white pupils in the shape of power signs. Lastly, the one thing to greatly signify that Neptune had transformed was her overall body shape as she now looked more like a beautiful, yet mature woman in her mid-to-late twenties as opposed to a prepubescent teenage girl.

Then, shortly after she had finished her transformation sequence, Neptune, who was now known as Purple Heart, looked at the Ancient Dragon with a more mature, calm and collected tone to her voice as she also smiled confidently at the large creature before making her declaration.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Witness the power of a CPU!

After saying those words, Purple Heart struck a pose as she not only used her wings to float in the air, but also took a fighting stance, with her wielding a futuristic-looking black katana with neon-purple colored highlights on the blade in her right hand.

Not wanting to get shown up by Neptune of all people, Noire quickly got up from where she was sitting and materialized a black and silver-colored rapier in her right hand as she sprinted over towards Purple Heart's position in order to jump back into the fray.

Noire: This was MY fight! Don't show off!

Then, in a rather shocking turn of events that even left Purple Heart shocked, Noire managed to slash the same weasel-like monster that previously knocked her down to the ground using her rapier as it then disappeared into pixels, thus saving her fellow CPU from a sneak attack by the small creature. After she finished killing the monster, Noire landed on her feet as she not only had her back turned away from Purple Heart, but her eyes were also obscured by a veil of shadows.

Upon witnessing this selfless act from the black-haired young woman, Purple Heart looked back at Noire with a soft smile on her face as she quickly thanked the Goddess of Lastation for the assistance.

Purple Heart (Neptune): I am grateful...

Afterwards, Purple Heart turned her attention back over towards the Ancient Dragon as she was now prepared to slay the beast once and for all.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Now leave this one to me!

It was then where a rather large, purple-colored glyph suddenly materialized from underneath Purple Heart's feet as she quickly leaped off the digital platform in order to fly straight towards the Ancient Dragon at breakneck speeds. After getting close to the monster, Purple Heart started unleashing a barrage of powerful sword slashes on the Ancient Dragon's body before quickly launching the massive creature up into the air with her sword and then slamming it back down to the ground in a matter of seconds.

After being knocked back to the ground, the Ancient Dragon started roaring out in pain and defiance at the sight of Purple Heart as she raised her sword up to deliver the finishing blow towards the monster.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Cross Combination!!!

Then, shortly after she called out the name of her signature attack, Purple Heart swung her sword and struck the Ancient Dragon with a powerful, downward slash upon the large draconic monster, inflicting a massive amount of damage as it suddenly began to vanish into a bunch of pixels, which also resulting in a large-scale explosion with Noire being forced to shield her eyes from the blinding light.

As the light quickly faded away, there was a large amount of silence as Noire looked back at Purple Heart as her sword disappeared into thin air, with there also being a handful of blue-colored crystals slowly raining down inside of the cave like snowflakes. It was then where Purple Heart looked over her left shoulder and down at Noire who was doing the same as she looked up at the Goddess of Planeptune over her right shoulder before she quickly broke the silence and looked away with her arms folded and a soft pout on her face as she tried to preserve her ego while also blushing at the same time.

Noire: I-I could have handled that thing on my own, you know! I didn't need any help from you.

Shortly after saying those words, Purple Heart slowly floated back down to the ground and then placed her left hand on Noire's shoulder before she spoke to her fellow CPU with a calm smile on her face.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Perhaps not. However, comrades should always help each other out.

Noire's only response to Purple Heart's words was to simply turn away as she continued the conversation with the CPU.

Noire: We're really more "rivals" or "enemies," if you ask me.

It was then where Purple Heart calmly decided to ask Noire a pretty important question that was actually on her mind for quite a while now as her translucent wings disappeared behind her back.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Why exactly DID you choose this place today?

After hearing this question, Noire started feeling a little bit agitated as she quickly gave Purple Heart an answer to her question.

Noire: Because it's close to your home and I wanted you out of my hair.

However, Purple Heart quickly saw through Noire's excuses and then came up with her own answer which clearly showed her IQ about this particular situation.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Since it is close to Planeptune borders, word of my heroics will surely spread there as well.

Upon hearing this, Noire gasped as her eyes and mouth opened up a little bit as she fully did not expect Purple Heart to easily see that she was actually concerned about her fellow CPU's nation.

Purple Heart (Neptune): You were worried about my Shares, weren't you?

After finishing her sentence, Purple Heart opened her eyes and looked over at Noire with a polite smile on her face.

Purple Heart (Neptune): Thank you, Noire.

It was then where Purple Heart deactivated her HDD transformation and reverted back into her base form before she looked over at Noire with a wink and a smile on her face as she started talking like her usual self again, as opposed to her more mature Goddess form.

Neptune: Me kicking butt was cool and all, but you almost getting eaten? Now that's the real story!

As soon as she heard those words exit out of Neptune's mouth, Noire gasped and quickly turned around with a look of embarrassment plastered all over her face, with her even blushing like crazy after Neptune started teasing her.

Noire: You wouldn't dare tell!

Unfortunately for Noire, Neptune already started making her way towards the cave's entrance to let everyone outside know about how the black-haired tsundere girl almost got turned into Ancient Dragon chow and that she was there to save the day like a comic book superhero.

Neptune: Hey, guys! Get this! Noire was almost eaten by a dragon!!!

Noire: H-Hey, Neptune! I thought we were comrades! Come back!!!

Not wanting to be embarrassed any further, Noire quickly ran after Neptune in order to make sure that she didn't sully her reputation with the others outside the cave waiting for them. However, unbeknownst to the two girls, there was a small, garnet-red colored, cross-shaped gemstone that appeared to be sticking out of the walls of the cave, which was also glowing a faint, bright-red color as it was simply brimming with some kind of mysterious energy.

After making their way outside of the Toruunay Cave, Neptune and Noire were suddenly greeted by not only their friends, but also several of the villagers as two girls in particular started praising both the CPUs of Planeptune and Lastation over their defeat of the various monsters that plagued their home.

Village Girl #1: Lady Black Heart and Lady Purple Heart beat them!

Village Girl #2: They beat the monsters with the power of love and probably also lasers!

Following this, both the young girls raised their arms up into the air and said "Yippee" in unison, with the rest of the villagers quickly following suit as they all started celebrating. Although, Neptune could only watch in amazement as to how so much of what was exactly said wasn't true, but simply let it be as she was just happy that it all turned out well in the end.

Neptune: Misinformation sure spreads fast, huh?

However, there was one person out of the entire group who was not too happy by the results as Noire was seen scratching the back of her head with both of her eyes closed before quickly opening them as she was lost in thought, trying to figure out the exact reason for her transformation suddenly malfunctioning earlier inside the cave.

Noire: (This doesn't make any sense. Why did my transformation break like that?)

Unbeknownst to everyone, there were actually two mysterious figures who were seen watching the others from a far-away distance in a semi-deep section of the forest, with them standing underneath a large tree and concealing their faces with a black cloak over their respective bodies.

One of the two figures, who appeared to be a fairly tall woman, suddenly started chuckling in a very sinister manner before she spoke up and somewhat praised the CPUs for inadvertently doing them a huge favor for them.

Mysterious Woman: Hahahaha... They cleared out all the monsters for us. How sweet of them to do that.

Then, after the woman finished talking, the second mysterious figure removed their hood and quickly revealed their face.

The tiny figure in question was actually not human, but rather an anthropomorphic-looking mouse with dark-gray colored fur, ruby-red colored eyes, a small black nose, and finally two white-colored whiskers on each cheek. The mouse also appeared to have black-colored fur on both shoulders running all the way down to his hands. He also seemed to possess a pair of tiny, maroon-colored bat wings sticking out of his back. There was also a very prominent broken heart emblem with two different colors on each side (red on the right and yellow on the left) at the center of the mouse's chest. He also possessed a thin, black-colored tail that also appeared to have a rather large broken heart on the end of the tail with a mostly black color scheme. Lastly, the mouse's feet had a very different color scheme as opposed to the rest of his body, with it mostly being a light-red color with two yellow stripes on each side of his tiny legs.

Mysterious Small Mouse: Good. Now we can search for that thing in peace.

After he finished talking, the small mouse suddenly pulled out a GPS device from his cloak as it then clearly displayed a 3D holographic map of the surrounding area, with it also proudly a small, red-colored, cross-shaped marker on the radar.

Mysterious Small Mouse: I got the GPS here to show me exactly where the item is too.

Then, shortly after the mouse put the GPS device away, the two mysterious figure looked up to see the same black crow that had been watching over both Quasar and Gwen's respective fights from earlier today started flying towards the duo before it suddenly found itself landing on the shoulder of another mysterious figure who was merely an all-black silhouette as they also appeared to be standing right behind the woman and the mouse.

The woman in the black cloak then looked over to her right and then started addressing the unknown figure in a very polite manner.

Mysterious Woman: Ahh... Shade. Fancy seeing you here. So, how did your mission go? I take it Diavel managed to gather something worthwhile, correct?

The mysterious figure, who was now called "Shade" simply responded to the woman's question with a very silent, yet subtle nod as a way of saying "Yes".

Mysterious Woman: Excellent. Then, be sure to deliver your findings to the doctor. I'll let him know of your arrival with the important data you managed to acquire, while I go to collect another one of them from the Toruunay Cave.

Shade once again nodded at the mysterious woman without so much as uttering a single word before quickly teleporting away to report to this so-called doctor in person.

Location: Unknown

The next scene quickly transitioned over to an undisclosed mountain area in Gamindustri that was also surrounded by a large forest, with one of the more taller mountains having a rather large hole inside of it, which in fact housed a massive front door made entirely out of a resilient, yet heavy steel. It then switched over to the other side of the large metal door which revealed a high-tech, scientific laboratory that was filled with several TV monitors on the walls and on a large desk area, with a handful of monitors proudly displaying blueprints and schematics for some sort of robotic exoskeleton on the screen.

Inside the laboratory, there was somebody who was seen sitting at a desk and typing on the keyboard as they appeared to be working on some sort of schematics for something very important.

The individual who appeared to be working was an old man with a light-tan skin complexion, icy-blue colored eyes, a rather large, yet bushy white mustache with matching white long hair that reaches past his waists, golden hoop earrings on both of his ears, and finally a complete and total lack of eyebrows, with him instead having a very pronounced brow. Attire wise, the old scientist mostly wore a black vest with white-colored trimmings and two gray buttons held together by a red rope tie on top of a light-orange colored shirt with long, light-yellow colored sleeves, a large red- sash around his waist, dark-brown baggy pants, and finally a pair of mostly black and white-colored business shoes with light-yellow leg warmers around his ankles. Lastly, the old man also wore a tall, cylinder-shaped black hat over his head with a red ribbon symbol that prominently featured two white-colored R's inside of the ribbon decal.

As the old man continued to work tirelessly on the schematics, one of the monitors off to the left side of his desk area suddenly started letting out an alarm which echoed throughout the laboratory, prompting the scientist to temporarily stop what he was doing and figure out who exactly was trying to contact him as he tapped on the keyboard, with one of the screens proudly showing the hooded woman inside of the Toruunay Cave.

Old Man Scientist: This is Dr. Gero. What do you have to report, Arfoire?

After being addressed by the man named "Dr. Gero", the woman who was called "Arfoire" decided to cut straight to the chase and inform the doctor about recent events that have all transpired today.

Arfoire: Very good news, doctor. We've managed to find another one of the crystals hidden inside the Toruunay Cave, and it was all thanks to those pathetic CPUs clearing out all the monsters for us. And I think you'll be happy to hear that we were able to acquire some very important combat data of two Saiyan warriors earlier today, all thanks to our little spy Shade. She'll be arriving at your lab shortly to deliver the data that her bird managed to acquire without being detected.

Upon hearing this, Dr. Gero started chuckling rather darkly as a sinister-looking smile found its way onto his face, with him looking incredibly pleased to hear this information firsthand.

Dr. Gero: Hehehehehe... Is that so? Well then, I'll be sure to give our spy a little warm welcome once she arrives. It certainly looks like things are progressing rather smoothly around here, and those miserable little miscreants have absolutely no idea what I have in store for them. In the meantime, we shall proceed with Phase Two. Arfoire, there is another crystal reading somewhere within the land of Lowee. Make your way over there and retrieve that crystal immediately.

Then, after hearing about the details of her mission, Arfoire simply nodded at the doctor before cutting the transmission short as the screen quickly returned to displaying an image of what appears to be a cybernetic left arm.

Following this, Dr. Gero started chuckling to himself in a very sinister manner as he immediately went back to working on the computer, with the screen proudly displaying the words "PROJECT: OMEGA" on it.

Dr. Gero: It won't be long now... Project: OMEGA will be my magnum opus for taking this world as my own, and those meddlesome little brats will bathe in their own blood for what I have in store for them!!! Just you wait, fools... For your swift and painful deaths shall be here very soon. Hehehehehe... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!! AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!

As the mad doctor's laughter echoed throughout the lab, the camera started panning outward to show Gero continuously laughing out loud to himself before it quickly transitioned over to the outside of his hidden laboratory and then to an overview shot of the entire forest and mountain area, with Dr. Gero's insane laughter in the background.

Time: 4:00 PM

It was then where the scene shifted over to the inside of Planeptune's Sharicite Chamber as Histoire looked at the Sharicite itself with a look of astonishment on her face as the amount of Share Energy flowing through it was more than what she could've even imagined.

Histoire: Very impressive.

As it turned out, Neptune was also present in the room alongside Histoire with a very proud smile on her face as she was expecting her oracle to praise her for her accomplishments in Lastation. However, instead of being appreciated for her efforts, Histoire spoke to the lilac-haired girl in order to give her a bit more emphasis on what she actually meant.

Histoire: I-I actually meant Noire. Not you.

Neptune: NEP-WHAT?!!

Upon hearing this for herself, Neptune suddenly fell backwards like she might have slipped on a banana peel or a puddle on the floor and landed on her back before sat back up and looked up at Histoire with a pout as she felt a bit unhappy with her small oracle's previous statement.

Neptune: Don't hate! I was awesome back there!

Unfortunately, Histoire was not willing to believe the Goddess of Planeptune's words as she simply stared at her with an incredibly straight look on her face before she started talking once again.

Histoire: Previous instances would indicate that you are actually useless and not awesome.

After hearing this very blunt response from her oracle, Neptune simply pouted like a disappointed child as she did not like that Histoire just called her "useless".

Neptune: Oh my gosh! Rude!

Then, after Neptune finished talking, the two girls gasped a little bit when they both suddenly heard Nepgear's faint scream from outside the Sharicite Chamber, which in turn caused Neptune and Histoire to investigate the source of the commotion.

Meanwhile in the living room area, Nepgear was seen sitting by Neptune's vacant desk alongside IF and Compa as they were all looking at a screen, with Nepgear completely blushing and shaking with embarrassment over what was being displayed. After making their way to the living room, Neptune called out to her distressed younger sister with a worried expression on her face.

Neptune: Nepgear, is something wrong?

As soon as she heard Neptune's voice, Nepgear turned around in her chair and started explaining the situation to her older sister.

Nepgear: It's awful! There's weird pictures of me on the internet!

Unsure of what she meant by those words, Neptune ran over to the computer and immediately started seeing pictures of Nepgear covered in blue-colored slime from earlier today, only that the images clearly showed the Goddess Candidate of Planeptune in a couple of embarrassing and suggestive positions, with her face also making it look like she's about to cry.

After seeing the images for herself, Neptune actually started smiling as she quickly recognized these photographs from much earlier at the Nasuune Highlands.

Neptune: Ahh! Now I remember! These are the pictures I mailed to myself! You're such a cutie in these, Nep Jr. I bet even a certain somebody will just LOVE to see these.

Unfortunately, Nepgear was not as enthusiastic as her older sister, with her quickly denying any of Neptune's claims about her being cute in these incredibly degrading photos of herself.

Nepgear: It's humiliating. Also, please don't show or tell Quasar about this! I really don't want him to find out about these photos.

???: What photos?

As soon as they all heard that voice, everybody turned their heads over to the right when each one of them saw a familiar face walking into the living room with a brown paper bag full of chili dogs in his arms. Neptune, IF, Compa, and Histoire were generally surprised to see that it was none other than Quasar Kaze who had just walked in on them, whereas Nepgear was even more embarrassed as this was the last person she wanted to see what was currently on the screen.

Quasar: Hey, guys. What's going on?

Neptune: Oh hey, Quasar! You gotta check these out.

Nepgear's only response to this whole situation was a simple gasp of shock and terror as Quasar walked over to the desk area and instantly saw what was on the laptop, which shocked him enough to completely turn his head over towards the Planeptune CPUs with a "somewhat" flustered expression on his face.

Quasar: What the heck is this?! What were you girls up to when I was away?

Nepgear could not bring herself to look the Saiyan in the eye as her face was as red as a tomato from embarrassment before she spoke rather sheepishly at Quasar.

Nepgear: ... Don't ask...

It was then where IF suddenly spoke up in order to ask Neptune a rather important question about the photos.

IF: Are you sure you didn't send those to the wrong email address?

Neptune: Who do you think you're talking to?

After answering IF's question, Neptune pulled out a small tablet from her pocket and started pressing on the screen for a bit before she ended up realizing something unfortunate.

Neptune: I- Oh... I actually forwarded it to the nationwide mailing list.

Upon hearing this, there were two conflicting reactions to this news: one of which was Quasar as his eyes widened like dinner plates and his mouth almost dropped to the floor, and the other one being IF as she could do nothing but placed a hand on her forehead and shook her head before letting out a sigh.

Quasar: Wait... WHAT?!!

IF: *Sigh* ... I thought so.

Quasar: Oh boy... I'm pretty sure that there are gonna be a ton of people who are on the internet probably coming across these images right about now.

It was then where Compa suddenly spoke up to everyone else as there was something of note that they should be aware of.

Compa: Well, on the upside, the comments are all pretty positive though!

After hearing this, everyone looked at the screen again before scrolling through the comment section of the email and started reading them out loud, which actually made Nepgear feel a lot more self-conscious about what was being said about her photos.

Compa: "I'm in the fantasy zone!"

Neptune and Quasar: "It's like a journey of dreams."

IF: And this one says "Hail to Planeptune, baby!" Seems like you got some fans.

Unfortunately, Nepgear was not too thrilled by this information as she started whining a little bit.

Nepgear: Wh-What?!!

After burying her face on the desk, Quasar was the one who started comforting Nepgear by gently patting her on her shoulder as Histoire began talking to both the Saiyan and Neptune about something.

Histoire: So, does that mean your Shares went up because of...

Neptune: These pictures? Maybe. What do you think, Quasar?

The Saiyan's only response to Neptune's question was a shrug of the shoulders as the two main protagonists then proceeded to congratulate Nepgear for her efforts in raising Planeptune's Shares, albeit in a rather embarrassing way.

Neptune: Wow, Nepgear! Nice work!

Quasar: Yeah. Plus, I guess when you really look at these for a couple of seconds, they actually aren't that bad of photos.

Shortly after these words reached her ears, Nepgear lifted up her head from the desk and looked at her sister and the Saiyan with a shy smile on her face.

Nepgear: Well, if you say so...

Following this brief exchange, Neptune held up the small tablet-like device and started talking once more.

Neptune: That's handy 'cause I've got plenty more where those came from!

As soon as she heard this, Nepgear's face immediately went pale as she could only gasp in horror at Neptune's crazy idea was starting to become a lot more clear. Meanwhile, Quasar simply scratched the back of his head and began laughing nervously as he knew good and well that once an idea found its way into Neptune's head, there was no way of stopping her from making that plan become a reality.

Quasar: Ehehehehehe... Oh geez... I had a feeling this might happen.

After Quasar had finished talking, Histoire was left completely speechless as she closed her eyes and merely looked away from what she was witnessing as Neptune began egging her younger sister on about how important the photos were for the good of their nation.

Neptune: Nepgear, do it for your country, okay?

Nepgear: Wait! That's a joke, right?

It was then where Histoire finally spoke up once again, albeit in a very disappointed manner, as she was personally not looking forward to what Neptune had planned for the nation of Planeptune going forward.

Histoire: I'm worried about this country on so many levels. So, so many levels.

Eventually, Neptune had already begun running off with the tablet containing the remaining photos of Nepgear earlier on that day, with Nepgear desperately trying to stop her own sister from uploading those embarrassing images of her to the rest of the internet.

Neptune: I'm gonna leak 'em now! Here we go!

Nepgear: My dignity!

As the two lilac-haired girls ran off, IF and Compa then turned their attention over towards Quasar as they had something they wanted to ask him personally.

IF: Well, while those two are dealing with that whole thing, I gotta ask, Q. What exactly have you been up to all day?

Compa: Yeah, tell us, Q-Q?

Quasar looked at the two young ladies with a fairly happy smile on his face before quickly giving them an answer to their question.

Quasar: Oh, ya know... The "usual". Did some training, ate some chili dogs, and then I fought against some alien guy called Ledgic who tried to kill me. No biggie.

Then, shortly after he finished saying that, Histoire and the other two girls started looking at Quasar with a surprised expression on each of their faces as they were not expecting him to just casually say that someone was trying to kill him without any further details.

But surprisingly, their silence actually made Quasar stare at each of them with a confused look on his face.

Quasar: Hmm? What? Did I say something weird or something?

And with this incredibly innocent response, Histoire and IF both collectively shook their heads and let out a tired sigh before they both said the exact same thing in unison.

IF and Histoire: Oy vey...!

In contrast to both the brown-haired girl and the blonde-haired fairy, Compa simply giggled at the young Saiyan, which actually made him look even more confused.

It then quickly transitioned to an image of Neptune with a cheerful smile on her face as she held up a "v-shaped" peace sign, with the CPU of Planeptune being in front of a violet-colored, futuristic-looking background. The last frame then showed Nepgear as she was proudly showing off her N-Gear handheld in her hands with a wide smile on her face as Neptune's younger sister stood amidst a vibrant-pink, futuristic-looking background. Afterwards, the images of the three heroes were now shown together in front of a blue, pink, purple, and white-colored background.

♪I see all these kids as I walk to school♪

The next scene quickly shifts over to a silhouette of Quasar as he appeared to be walking in a straight line with several different background transitions appearing behind him; such as Planeptune, Lastation, Lowee, Leanbox, Central City, Celestia, and finally a shot of the entire world of Gamindustri.

♪Their colorful backpacks so unique and cool♪

As the young Saiyan's silhouette continued walking down the straight path, a number of different characters were shown off consecutively; such as Neptune, IF, Compa, Histoire, Noire, Blanc, Vert, Nepgear, Uni, Rom and Ram, which clearly symbolized his connection towards Gamindustri as a whole.

♪I can't help but wonder which color I choose♪

It was then where Quasar started to pick up the pace as he transformed into a Super Saiyan while continuing to jog in place as images of Reiko, Rain, Dawn, Gwen, and Ace were shown off in the background.

♪If I still were a kid, where would I run off to?♪

As soon as his friends flew past him, a large smile found its way onto Quasar's face as he then jumped out of the shadows and flew straight towards the screen using his Shooting Star hoverboard.

♪Hello, hello, hello♪

The next thing to be shown were photos from Quasar's past as they were shown amidst an empty black background, with the first one being a picture of a 10 year-old Quasar Kaze with a happy smile on his face as he was seen sparring with the likes of Neptune on a sandy beach. The second and final photo to be shown was a picture of Neptune in the living room playing a ton of video games with a bunch of pudding cups surrounding her as she gamed to her heart's content.

♪How am I looking now that I've grown into an adult?♪

Shortly after the photos were shown, the next scene quickly transitioned over to a shot of Quasar who appeared to be staring off into the sunset from the balcony of the Planeptune Basilicom with a soft smile on his face.

♪Hello, hello, hello♪

After a few seconds, Neptune appeared from behind and gave Quasar a friendly pat on the back as she was accompanied by the other main characters; such as Nepgear, IF, Compa, Histoire, Noire, Uni, Ace, Gwen, Blanc, Rom, Ram, Rain, Vert, Reiko, and Dawn.

♪Do I look like I'm proud of who I've finally become?♪

Upon seeing all of their friends, Quasar and Neptune both smiled back at one another as they looked towards the future as not only friends, but also as one massive family.

♪Oh I know I've made mistakes, but I'm trying to get it right♪

It was then where the next thing to be shown were brief glimpses of future adversaries that appear to be working together to take down the heroes; including the likes of Arfoire, Dr. Gero, Warechu, Raditz, Nappa, Turles, Lord Slug, and Cooler as they all appeared as silhouettes with each of them possessing glowing, crimson-red eyes amidst a black-colored background.

♪And I'm willing just to wait for the moment I can shine!♪

♪This anthem is the story of all time!♪

The scene then quickly transitioned back to showing the heroes as they all stood side-by-side in front of the basilicom as one large group. The last shot of the ending then showed a closeup of both Quasar and Neptune's faces with the two of them smiling.

Quasar: Hey, everyone! It's me, Quasar Kaze! In order to help Neptune grow into a proper CPU, we all decided to make a trip over to Lowee and ask Blanc for some tips. Though, she's apparently not in the mood for all that, nor is she willing to join her sisters Rom and Ram to visit Super Nintenland. But then, without any warning, Blanc's little sisters end up getting kidnapped by some creepy guy with a thing for little girls! I'm really sure what these guys have planned for our little friends, but we're all not just gonna sit by and let them get away with it!

Blanc: I swear I'll get my sisters back if it's the last thing I do!

Rain: Yeah, and I'll be right behind you, Blanc!

It was then where the screen quickly displayed an image of the nation of Lowee with the seven Dragon Balls floating all across the city itself before a few lines of text appeared on the screen.

Quasar: Next time on Hyperdimension Neptunia Z: The Animation! "The Terrorist (Lickorrest) of Lowee!" We'll see you then!
