You were adventuring around Planeptune, looking for monsters to hunt and kill, the usual things of a monster hunter did. When you got swarmed by dogoo's you were lucky that IF had been near by to help you. Afterwords you had both talked briefly about why you were there. It turned out you were both hunting just for the hell of it. And so you ended up spending the rest of the hunt with each other. "So IF where all have you been." You asked as you both kept walking around the wilderness of Planeptune, "I've been to maybe all four of the countries. I usually just go from request to request without thinking of where it leads most of the time" you nodded and smiled "Neat." You stopped talking when interrupted by a loud howl "That didn't sound good" you said as your hand fidgeted on the hilt of your sword "Sounded like some sort of wolf" IF added getting her own weapons ready "No too loud, and deep sounding, might be a werewolf." She looks at you "You better hope your ass it isn't." You shrug and drew your sword as you saw movement in the distance "Either way we need to kill it right?" She nodded shaken now as the movement came closer "If we want to live we need to" both of you adopted a combat stance as the figure charged now revealing it was indeed a werewolf, slashing at you both it growled at its prey evading it's claws. Slashing your own weapon you opened a large slash across its arm, IF followed with her own hacking motions that cut its body, head, and arm in various places. Before long you had both managed to deal with the creature, but IF being stubborn as she was had managed to get herself slashed in various places by trying to fight it alone. "I tried to warn you IF." She grumbled "Whatever. Still killed it" you sighed and started stitching one particular cut that wasn't going to heal without them. "And almost killed yourself in the process. Don't you have any idea of team work?" You kept a level tone knowing getting irritated might make her try to kill you. "Well when your only team is a guy you haven't known for longer then a few hours you don't trust it that well." You shrug "Whatever. Next time you might not be so lucky. Just remember that IF" sullen at your words she looked down now as you finished stitching the cut. Putting your med kit away you turned and started to head out to find firewood "My friends call me Iffy. So just call me that from now on. Ok (F/N)?" You nod "Sure thing Iffy." Smiling you walked off, pleased that it took less time then you thought for her to start calling you a friend. Later that month you were both walking around Planeptune "So now that our adventures are over Iffy what's on your agenda for awhile" you two had grown considerably closer since that night. "Probably just go visit Compa and Neptune most likely. What about you (F/N)" you shrugged "Train, go visit with you guys since I have nothing to do. And that will probably be it until I get another request." She nodded and smiled, something only her closest friends could make her do "Sounds like a plan. So which are you going to do first?" You grin "Why? Does someone want me to go with her?" You tease her. This caused her to blush and make her give her usual frown and a gruff reply of "No. Nothing like that at all. I just figured you would want some company." You chuckled, knowing she liked you, she couldn't hide it as well as you could when you liked someone. Grinning more you chuckled "Don't worry. I was just teasing you Iffy. I know you like me, you don't need to hide it" she blushed worse and slugged your arm with some force, but not enough to hurt for long "You suck at telling a girl you like her you know that" you rolled your eyes "Oh trust me I can do better." She scoffed "Prove it then." You grabbed her and yanked her to you giving her a passionate kiss. Smiling you stopped "So how was that Iffy" she stuttered for a moment before forming an actual sentence "It was...good" you chuckled "If you don't want us to be together like that I won't mind" she shook her head rapidly "No no no no. I wanna be your girlfriend." Smiling you kissed her again "Then your my girlfriend now."
