It was a dark night at Planeptune and exiting out of the building within a small street was a man as he shut his entrance doors after he turned off the lights and then lock it up. He was wearing a fancy suit with a black tie as he make his leave and make his walk home. He continues walking home as he decided to take a different path so he takes the alleyway as a short cut.

He continues making his walk through the alleyway while he start to whistle to himself so it will not feel quiet around him. While he was mixing his own business there was a mysterious figure appear behind him and moving through the darkness while the man continues to walk.

Suddenly he heard something that sounded like something hit the trash bin so he turne around and look around to see he can find anything that make that noise.

???: Hello? Whose there?

There was slince for a while and soon he decided to keep on walking but then he only took a few steps forward until he heard someone behind him and turn to see the person.

???: You? What do you want? Wait...wait is that? Wait! No! No! Please! Get back! GET BACK! AAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!

(Meanwhile)

At Nep's place we see Y/n making his way to the living room and sees all the Halloween decorations up along with the table of food ready for the Halloween party which they are going to throw. He was wearing a vampire like outfit with fake fines sticking out of his mouth and wearing a black cloak with red underneath it.

Y/n: (smile) This part is gonna be epic.

Nepgear: Hey Y/n!

He turn to see Nepgear and Neptune walked up to him with their Halloween outfits on them as well.

Neptune: (smile) What do you thinm with our outfits? Pretty scary aren't they?

Y/n: (smile) Pretty scary. Is everyone else coming to the party?

Nepgear: They're gonna doing some sort jobs but they will be here soon.

Y/n: (smile) That's good to hear. This year's Halloween party is going to be epic!

Neptune: (smile) I can imagine all the candy that we're gonna eat. I just can't wait for it.

Histoire: We have a situation!

Then Histoire flies over to them which they turn to her as Histoire tells them.

Histoire: We got a report of a murder.

Nepgear: (shocked) Oh my. Who could have done this?

Histoire: The officers have no idea who done it. I believe you should go there and check it out.

Neptune: Aaawww but do I have to, the party is gonna start and I'm bothered to uo out.

Histoire: This is serious Neptune! It's your job as a goddess to find out who could have done it!

Y/n: What about I go. I'll find out whose the murder and bring him to justice and be back on time.

Nepgear: You sure you'll be alright?

Y/n: (smirk) It be fine, I'll see you all later.

And so he make his leave and seconds later IF and Compa came into the living with bags of sweets and other snacks while wearing their customs as well.

If and Compa: Happy Halloween!

Neptune: (smile) IF, Compa you came!

Compa: (smile) Yep and we got some snacks and sweets.

IF: Say where's Y/n going?

Nepgear: Apparently there has been a murder and Y/n is away to find out what happened.

Compa: (shocked) Oh my! Should we help him?

IF: Well we should but I'm sure he'll be fine. I mean I'm sure he'll have time to solve the case and return back soon.

Neptune: (smile) No need to worry he'll be fine. Besides he's the main character, he can't be killed by simply things like this. I'm sure he'll be fine.

IF: Well let's go this party started then.

Neptune: (smile) Agree! Let's do this!

(Meanwhile)

Y/n arrived the area and see police cars surrounded the alleyway and police tap blocking the alleyway and when he try to get over it he was stopped by two police officers.

Police officer 1: Sorry kid but you can't go through here.

Police officers 2: This is a crime scene so you better leave.

Y/n: I'm Y/n L/n aka Red Heart, I'm here to see what happened here.

???: Let him through you two. He's a CPU after all.

Then a old police officer step out as the two police officers apologise and let him through. Y/n walks up to the old police officer and the two shake hands.

Ichiro: Then names Ichiro, I'm the chief of the police.

Y/n: Nice to meet you Chief. Show me the body.

Ichiro: Right this way.

He lead Y/n through the alleyway and soon we see five officers taking pictures of the body while it's coved by with a white sheet as the two apoorches the body and Y/n bends down and opens the sheet to see the body.

Ichiro: We've gotten a call of a scream in this area and when we arrived we saw him laying on the ground dead. It seems he was stabbed a through times and left to bleed out.

Y/n: Huh who was he?

Ichiro: His name is Sana, a private detective who works for anybody as long they pay him. His agency was not that far from here. He has a wife which we informed her about her husbands death.

Y/n scans the body and after a while he covers it up, stood up and tells Ichiro.

Y/n: It seems that someone didn't kill him for the fun or to rob him. I think he was killed for a reason.

Ichiro: His money was not taking and those wounds shown to be in a fit of rage and not for fun.

Y/n: Right.

???: Step aside, let me see the body.

Then a man wearing a fancy suit with a bow tie and black hat came through the two police officers as he walk up to them.

Y/n: And you are?

Chimon: Names Chimon, a private detective that's not far from here. I've also worked along side Sana in a few caes but I guess it's sad to see him like this.

Y/n: I'm sorry. But we'll find out whose responsible for this and bring him or her to justice.

Chimon: There's no need for that. I've rounded up some suspects that could be the ones that are responsible for his murder.

Ichiro: Who?

Chimon: Four people that have some hatred towards Sana in the past. First is Mike who used to be his best friend but that is until he damaged his job by posting some fake photos of Sana doing corrupting things which resulted to them fallen out. Next is a female artist by then name of Aya, her painting was ruined after Sana run pass her onkynto chase a criminal and this painting was suppose to change her life but Sana ruined that for her. The next is Izumi whose just a normal family wife but that's when she was framed by Sana because he thought she killed three people only to turn out it wasn't her. Her husband divorce her and she was left alone and seeks revenge on Sana. The last is named Thomas who is a normal teenage boy, whne hee sister are kidnapped he beg Sana for help but without money there was nothing Sana can do and as the result her sister was killed, he blames Sana for her sisters deaths.

Y/n: (thought) Jesus there is a lot of these people who hated Sana so much!

Ichiro: And you sure they are the possible witness?

Chimon: Of course. In fact I have them gathered up at the police station and soon one of them will talk. Maybe you should go home Y/n, we got this under control.

He then turn and leaves while Y/n watch him walk away. Then he noticed something behind the trash bin so he walked over and picked it up and sees it was a fancy pen with written he can't make out.

Ichiro: What is it?

Y/n: A clue. Do you have Sana's wife address?

Ichiro: Um yes we have.

Y/n: I want to pay a visit to her and ask her some questions.

(Later)

We see Y/n at Sana's house and we see his wife named Willow as she stare out of the window while Y/n is behind her as Y/n ask him questions about her husband.

Willow: I remember when he was young he wishes to open a agency so he can solve crime. He's a fan of solve crime so he open up his agency and solving crime all across Planeptune. Of course there was some things that were blocking his way. For example his rival.

Y/n: His rival?

Willow: Yes. A while ago a man step into his agency building and told him off aboit taking away his clients and wants his business to shut down. He refused and since then the two became rivals as they steal each others cases and trying to be the best detectives ever. However one day my husband told me that that man will not bother him anymore because they finally became friends and working together. But that was a week ago and now.

She start to cry while Y/n hands her a box of tissues and she takes and blows on it while Y/n pulls out a pen and ask her while he shows it to her.

Y/n: Dose your husband owned this pen by any chance?

She looks at the pen while she wipes the tears away and then said.

Willow: No I believe my husband never owned that pen but i have seen it before. There is a shop that sells pens like thid one. My husband gose there to buy some pens and I even come with him a few times.

Y/n: (thought) So someone must have dropped it after the murder.

Y/n: Do you remember where it is?

(Short while later)

Y/n arrived at the shop and spoke with the owner by the name of Oda as he show him the pen and the writing on it which he stare at it and said.

Oda: Ah yes I remember that pen. Its a custom pen, very expensive but worth it. You can customised this pen anything you want and even have something written on I as well.

Y/n: Do you know what the writing means?

Oda: Yes. It says "Greatest detective's pen" seems like someone wants to be the best around.

Y/n: Is there anyway you can tell who brought this pen?

Oda: Actually I do. You see, I've store in ever receipt from customers and store them all in this draw.

He bend down, opens the draw and reads through the receipts and after a while he finds one ans hands it to Y/n which he takes and looks at it.

Y/n: (surprised) So it's him then. Well thanks for that Oda, now i know whose the murder.

Oda: (smile) Thanks and your welcome to come by any time you like.

Y/n: Actually now i think about it. Can I get a pen with written on it?

Oda: (smile) Sure what written do you want it to say?

Y/n just smirked and told him what he likes the written to say and he did so. After that he pays and leaves the shop as he heads off to the police station to expose the murder.

(Later)

We see Mike, Aya, Izumi and Thomas at the police station and gathered inside the interrogation room as they were waiting to see if one of them is incorrect or not. Soon the doors open and Y/n, Ichiro and Chimon step inside the room as they face the four witnesses.

Mike: Look I didn't do nothing I swear! If anything it should be Thomas right there.

Thomas: Fuck you dude I didn't do nothing! It's Izumi, she been through worst then I have!

Izumi: Okay true I wanted to take revenge on that idiot detective who ruined my life but I didn't kill him!

Aya: Well it ain't me I swear of it!

Ichiro: That's enough all four of you! Red Heart is in the room so show some respect!

Then all four started to beg for Y/n, telling him it wasn't them but he tells them which they fall slient.

Y/n: I can ensure all of you that you four......ain't the murders.

The four breath a sigh of relief while Chimon and Ichiro were a bit confused but Y/n gose on to say.

Y/n: However. There is still a murder in this room and after a while i found out who.

Chimon: But you said hesw four ain't the murders? How dose it make sense if they're not?

Y/n: (smirk) I didn't say its just the four of them.

Ichiro: (shocked) Wait? Are you saying its one of us?

Y/n: That's right. I believe someone wishes to kill Sana throughout his or her life, someone that wishes that he was killed on his first, second or other cases but still lived, someone that wished they have better live than Sana and someone that will put any four innocent people in prison for a crime they didn't do......is that right......Detective Chimon.

All eyes landed on Chimon which he looked surprised as he step back while he ask.

Chimon: (surprised) Wait! You think I killed him? That's impossible!

Ichiro: Please explain?

Y/n: The murder drop a pen that says "Greates Detective's pen" it seems who ever murder Sana was a Detective just like Sana before his death. I've spoke to his wife and it turns out there was some rivalry going on between Sana and this unknown detective but she told me in the end they became friends. But I believe her husband was lying to her so she will not worry.

Chimon: (surprised) B-But what is all od this have to do with me?!

Y/n: (smirk) Simple really. You said when we first met your agency was close to here so I check both Sana's and your website and I turns out, your agency is a 5 minute walk from Sana's agency building meaning you both have each other throats for years until things gone too far and killed him. In order to not label you as a suspect, you have four people that hated Sana as suspects so you can pick the blame on who ever murder Sana.

Sweat came down from Chimon as he looks around and seeing there is no way to get away he finally told them.

Chimon: Okay yes it was me! That Sana ruined my business so I have no choice but to kill him so I can continue my business! I almost got away thanks to you!

Then Ichiro handcuffed Chimon as he tells him.

Ichiro: Your under arrest for the murder of Sana. Thanks for the help Y/n, hope to be working with you later.

Y/n: (smirk) Same here chief, same here.

(Later)

The news about Chimon's murder was all over the news as we see Y/n showing this to Noire, Vert and Blanc who just arrived Nep's place for the Halloween party while wearing their customs as they were surprised when they watched the news.

Vert: (surprised) My so a detective murder a detective.

Blanc: Well it won't matter now he's in prison.

Noire: Yeah good job by away.

Y/n: (smile) Thanks at least we can enjoy ourselves.

Noire: (smile) Yeah guess your right.

Uni: Hey guys!

Then Uni came in also wearing her custom as she tells them.

Uni: (smile) The party is about to start!

They get up and make their way when Y/n almost forgot about something and turn to Blanc and hands her a pen to her.

Y/n: (smile) I almost forgot. This is for you.

Blanc: Oh thanks.

Y/n: (smile) That's not all. Turn the pen around.

She dose so and there was some written on it which said "Greatest author goddess." This made her blush while Y/n smiled at her while she said.

Blanc: (blush) Th-Thank you. I'll keep this and use it to write my new stories.

Y/n: (smile) I'm sure you will succeed.

She blushed even more and then kissed him on the cheek. He smiled even more and the two heaf in to enjoy the Halloween party with everybody else as they have their party throughout the night and having the best Halloween night ever.
