(Your House)

A week has passed since school closed. A lot of things happened that's for sure. Fighting monsters, my parents came to my house, going bankrupt and even getting closer to Uni. My parents headed back to work, school reopened and spring is also coming to a close. That means two things. School is going to close again for the summer holidays but before it closes, there's exam. It starts at the very day school reopened. Those who fails the exam will have their holiday replaced with extra classes.

I was slightly worried about myself but mostly to the girls. They just came in and are forced to take the examination. I couldn't focus 100% on the papers because of them.

Today, we just finished the math test. Walking back home while talking about the test we just did.

Neptune: Why do I have to go through such a trial?

Blanc: We don't have a choice. It's this world's system so we have to abide by it.

Ram: It was quite hard. Why did they make such hard questions?

Rom: Uh-huh...

Noire: It's hard because you haven't studied at all.

I just listened to the complaints of the girls. Well, exclude Noire. Before I took the lift, I headed for the mailbox to check for any new mails. There was two but I wished they never came.

Y/N: (Oh crap...)

It was my water and electric bill. The water was still managable but the electric was high. I lived alone so this had never been a real problem. It also came in the worst possible timing. I'm still broke and my points would not be enough to compensate it. I hid it in my pockets when I heard Ram calling for me. I entered the elevator with a drop of sweat coming down my face.

Vert: Are you okay Y/N?

Y/N: Yep. I'm fine...

Nepgear: You don't look fine.

Y/N: I don't? Maybe it's because of the test.

The elevator reached the 5th floor where my house is located. I exited the elevator and headed for my house.

Noire: Eh? What's this?

I looked behind and saw Noire holding what looks like the bill. Surprised, I took out the bills out off my pocket but only the water bill was in there.

Noire: This is...

I just stayed silent and waited for her reaction.

Noire: Is this your bill?

She took a look at it and from her expression, she was shocked.

Noire: Y/N... This amount is quite high.

Y/N: Yeah...

Noire: Do you have enough money for it?

I didn't want to lie so I kept quiet. The girls looked at me worried.

Nepgear: How do we solve this?

Vert: May we take a look at the bill?

Noire showed it to the rest. Even they looked surprised.

Y/N: Let's take a shower first. After that, I'll think of a way to solve this problem.

They all agreed. We headed back home with a worried air.

Timeskip

Before going to bed, I need to think about this newfound problem. Monster hunting will take ages just to pay the electric bill let alone the water.

Y/N: (This is bad...)

Luna: Papa... Is something the matter?

Y/N: It's nothing big. Just one of life's challenges.

Luna: Okay... <Yawn> I'm going to bed. Don't sleep late okay?

Y/N: Alright.

Luna got off my lap and headed to the bedroom. I laid back on the couch and closed ARC.

Y/N: <sigh>

Uni: You look like a mess.

Y/N: You think?

Uni came and sat beside me. She looked at my face with a worried expression.

Uni: Would you be able to find a way?

Y/N: Don't look down on me. This is just something I deal with every month.

Uni: Sure doesn't look like it.

She's good. Uni could read my mind just by looking at my face.

Uni: J-Just this once... I'll help you...

Uni sat on my lap facing me and kissed me gently. I was taken by surprise but returned it. I don't know why she did but it is clearing the stress I have. We parted and she had a very cute blush on her face. I could feel my face blushing too.

Uni: B-Better?

Y/N: It was but that was dangerous.

Uni: Why?

Y/N: Your sister could have seen us doing this...

Uni: I-I know that obviously! But I can't help it.

Y/N: You're turned on?

Uni: Baka! That's impossible! Why would I get turned on?!

Y/N: Sorry... That was meant to be a joke.

Uni: You're horrible at it.

I smiled a bit at Uni's pouting face. She got off my lap and sat beside me. As if a light bulb lighted up, I had an idea on how to solve this crisis. I hugged Uni and she was surprised.

Uni: B-Baka! Why did you suddenly...

Y/N: Thanks for that kiss. It made my brain move a bit.

Uni: It's a good thing it did. I don't know what will if it didn't work.

Y/N: You should go to bed. I'll handle it from here.

Uni: If you insist.

Uni stood up and headed to the bedroom but not until I was able to get a glimpse of her smiling face. After that, I opened ARC and looked at my contacts and saw a couple of people who is still available. I picked F/N and called him.

F/N: Yo Y/N! What are you doing calling me in the middle of the night?

Y/N: Do you have a family member who needs help with their job?

F/N: Eh? You're looking for a job? In such a young age...

Y/N: Just answer me.

F/N: Hmm... I don't think I have. Sorry Y/N, but I think you should ask someone else.

Y/N: Oh... is that so? Sorry to bother you.

F/N: It's fine. Besides, we're friends right?

With that, he ended the call. I looked at other options and tried them. I tried my parents but they didn't pick up. Shows you how busy they are. I asked my other friends but they either didn't pick up or couldn't help me. As my hopes was about to sink into the sea, I saw one who maybe could help me.

Y/N: I hope he can help me...

Yuu: Y/N?

Y/N: Yup. That's me. Listen, I need your help.

Yuu: Oh, sure. What can I be of help with?

Y/N: I'm a little broke right now...

Yuu: Uh-huh...

Y/N: Do you have any friends or relatives that needs help with their work?

Yuu: Hmm... Now that you mention it... My little sister is working in a café. She also said she needed help with running the business. Is that good enough?

Y/N: That's plenty!

Yuu: Well then, I'll message my sister and send you the location. I can't come because of work. Those monsters won't give me a break!

Y/N: Stay safe and thanks for helping.

He closed the call and I turned ARC off. I laid on the couch and closed my eyes hoping everything will go well tomorrow.

Timeskip (Café) 3rd P.O.V

Today was a Saturday. It was also the day where you start working. You headed to the location Yuu sent you. It was not packed but there was a few people here and there. You and the girls entered and headed to one of the waitress. She had a long red hair and was wearing a maid outfit.

Y/N: Excuse me but I'm looking for the café's owner.

Mio: You're looking at her. My name is Mio. From the looks of it you're the one who's been looking for a spot here.

Y/N: Yes.

Mio "scanned" your whole body and nods after that.

Mio: Approved! You can work on baking and making tea or coffee.

Y/N: That was fast...

Vert: What about us?

Mio: You girls want to work here too?

They nodded in sync. Mio thought for a while before deciding.

Mio: Okay then! But you can't work looking like that. Let's get you girls changed.

Mio brought everyone except Luna. She didn't want to work but wanted to stay with you. Mio didn't mind as long as you agreed. You have no reason to refuse so you let her stay. Mio smiled and brought everyone else to change.

There was not much to do here other than staring at the customers who were enjoying their drinks and pastries. Mio whistled at me. There came out the girls wearing identical maid outfits.

Mio: Hehe~ Alright girls! Go service your master!

All: EH?!!

Mio: Just kidding~

You sighed at being teased by Mio. The girls blushed before doing their job as waitresses. The little sisters went outside the café to do some promoting while the big sisters stayed waiting for the customers.

Nepgear: Umm... Please come to our café.

Uni: Come to our café! We have an array of mouthwatering cakes and pastries.

Ram: Make sure to visit our café!

Rom: Visit our café... Pretty please...

They were handing out flyers. It caught a few attention. Most likely because of their cute appearance. Before you knew it, you were making coffee and tea for the customers. Their promoting really did the trick. The big sisters welcomed the customers, took their orders and cleaned the tables.

Neptune: Welcome to our café! Allow me to find a place for you to sit!

Noire: May I take your order?

Man 1: Yes please. Black coffee and a slice of carrot cake.

Noire: Black coffee and carrot cake... Alright. Your order will be here in a minute.

Vert: Would you like your tea hot or cold?

Woman 1: Hot, please.

Blanc: Iced Caramel, coming right up.

Blanc came to you and gave another order. It was piled up and it keeps on increasing by the minute. But you handled it with ease. Luna just looked amazed at how you made tea and coffee without messing it up. A man took a sip of his coffee.

Man 1: Ah~ This is very nice.

Woman 1: The atmosphere here is pleasant.

Man 2: A place that serves great coffee and delicious cake. Another great thing about this place is the reception.

Woman 2: Friendly waitresses...

Man 3: ...Not too mention they're all very cute. This is truly paradise~

Mio looked shocked at your capabilities. She came up behind you and whispered softly.

Mio: Not bad. Not bad at all.

You smirked and placed the cup of tea at the counter. Mio went away from you to help out the girls.

Timeskip & Y/N's P.O.V

We continued our "career" for 3 more days. After school, we would come here and start working immediately. Today was like any other day. The café was once again packed with people. But a special guest came in today. The man wearing a suit asked Nepgear something.

???: Excuse me, but is Y/N L/N available?

Nepgear: Yes. He's at the coffee station.

???: Much appreciated.

I looked at his face who looks like he's in his 30s. But what confused me was how did he know who I was. He came to the counter.

???: Are you perhaps Y/N L/N?

Y/N: Depends.

???: <Deep laugh> Do have any spare time?

Y/N: Shouldn't you introduce yourself first?

Kaiser: Ah. Pardon my rudeness. I'm Kaiser. I think you're familiar with the name.

I looked at him wide eyed. If I'm not wrong, he's Seth Kaiser's father.

Kaiser: Back to my question.

I looked around and agreed. There was not much to do now since all my orders were finished. Mio could also replace me.

Y/N: Where do you want to talk?

Kaiser: Here.

I went out of my station and sat at a table for two. He placed his briefcase at his side and called Noire.

Noire: Y/N?

Kaiser: Excuse me, but I would like a cup of latte. Order something. It's on me.

He asked me.

Y/N: Normal tea.

Noire looked at us confused but took our orders and left.

Y/N: Kaiser-san... what do you want to talk about?

Kaiser: What do you think?

Y/N: Is this about your son?

Kaiser: Exactly.

His latte and my tea arrived. Noire whispered to my ears.

Noire: Y/N. Who is this guy?

Y/N: I'll explain later.

She listened and left us.

Kaiser: Aren't you two close.

Y/N: Get to the point.

Kaiser: Alright. You initiated a duel with my son right?

Y/N: Yes...

Kaiser: From the video, it looks like he lost.

Y/N: Out of the blue he took out a gun and started firing at me along with his goons.

Kaiser: Yes, that too.

Kaiser took his briefcase and placed it on the table. He unlocked it and took out what seems to be a letter.

Kaiser: Y/N, I want you to take this.

Y/N: What is this?

Kaiser: A million Yen.

A million?! My bills was at least below 40,000 if combined with the electric and water.

Y/N: Why are you giving me such a crazy amount?!

Kaiser: It's my way of saying thanks.

Y/N: Thanks?! I don't even know why am I being thanked for.

Kaiser: Allow me to explain. I want to show you my gratitude for taking out my son.

Y/N: Wait, what?! You're thanking me because I took down your son? Don't you love him?

Kaiser: I would. If he didn't act like that. It's natural for a boy like him to be exiled from my family.

Y/N: Your wife's okay with this?

Kaiser: Delighted.

I was surprised. It appears they gave up on Seth because of his acts.

Kaiser: You see... He was shrouded in darkness. If I kept him any longer he would expand his greed by getting rid of me.

Y/N: Why didn't you do anything?

Kaiser: Even if he's evil, he's still my son. I can't bear to hurt him with my own hands. So, I waited for someone to stand up to him.

Y/N: I see... What will happen to him?

Kaiser: He's now dead.

Y/N: Eh?!

Kaiser: The investigation proved he was guilty and so... He was executed.

Y/N: Woah... But 1 million is still a lot.

Kaiser: If you don't want it then throw it.

Y/N: You can't possibly expect me to throw a million!

Kaiser: Then why don't you give it to those in need. Besides, it looks like you're desperate for cash. If not, why are you working when you're supposed to be studying?

Y/N: That's a good point.

I took a sip of the tea while he sipped his latte.

Kaiser: I should get going. It's a pleasure making your acquaintance.

Y/N: I can't say I feel the same but thanks for the cash.

He fixed his tie and headed outside the café. I looked at the letter.

Y/N: (1 million... That's still too much...)

I took it and headed back to my station.

Timeskip & 3rd P.O.V

It reached closing time and the girls cleaned the mess. You headed to Mio to tell her something.

Y/N: Mio, I appreciate everything you have done to us.

Mio: What's this all of a sudden?

Y/N: I already collected enough to last quite the long time.

Mio: Oh... You're quiting. That's fine. But this place won't be the same without you. Ah, I know! Let's take a picture together.

Y/N: With the girls?

Mio: Nope, just the two of us.

Y/N: That's fine.

She took out her phone from her pocket and turned the camera on.

Mio: You're too far. Come closer.

You stepped closer to her and she stepped closer to you. She setted a timer and did a selfie. Three... Two... One...

Mio kissed you on the cheek. A light one. The image showed a perfect picture of you being kissed by her. Your blushing face was also caught.

Mio: Hehe~ This is becoming my new wallpaper.

Y/N: Good for you...

You looked at the girls. Some of them looked at you in jealousy. You walked out of the café with a sigh.

Now you were on your way home. The girls changed their clothes before heading out too. You were walking normally until a familiar voice sounded.

Mebius: It's been awhile... Y/N L/N.

You stopped walking and turned behind you. There he was. The final person you fought in Gamindustri.

Y/N: M-Mebius?

He was in his previous looks. Blue hair, blue eyes and wore a red long coat.

Noire: Y/N? Are you okay?

Only in your eyes Mebius can be seen but in others, you're looking at nothing but air.

Mebius: I told you I'll be back. And this time, I will take what you cherish.

Y/N: Argh!

Your head started to hurt. The girls looked at you as if you're some crazy person.

Uni: Y/N! What's wrong?!

You fell on both knees while holding your head. Your vision started to divide itself and your breathing is heavy. A warning appeared in front of you saying "Warning! Brainwave level is at a dangerous state!".

Neptune: Oi, Y/N! Snap out of it!

You couldn't bear it anymore and collapsed. They tried to wake you up but proved useless. You were still breathing but unconscious. The girls didn't care about the surroundings and transformed. Luna became the 6 swords and they carried you home, using the sky as their route.

Chapter 6: Help...

What happened? All of a sudden you were hallucinating. What does this mean? Are you sick or is something much worst is happening...
