A chance meeting?
Ren Cruz sighed as he looked at the scene in front of him. It was not a sigh of annoyance or anything but a sigh of relief. He had just finished watching a recording of the friendship treaty between the four Goddesses and he knew there would be an economic race.
A lot less bloody than armies fighting each other but way more cutthroat. Well, not like he cared much about the politics of Gamindustri. Wait, that affected him too!
Ignoring the possible effects of the treaty for now, the young man hummed as he looked at the dress in front of him. It was simple, yet elegant.
What? Just because he is a powerful person and a monster in combat doesn't mean he can't have hobbies.
Besides, he had this made for a Miss Black or something. Looking at his gauntlets, a pair of tools called spirit looms, they were the things he used to weave this thing. How? It was simple, he weaved the very elements in this dress, an elemental that provided it willingly.
"Can you give this to packaging," He said to his co-worker who was too busy looking at it. It was mostly thanks to his soul ally who was a soul weaver and a master artisan. A bit too eccentric but they were a great partner.
"Y-yes!"
Watching his co-worker walk away, Ren sighed and leaned back on his chair. Taking the light and shaping it into threads, the young man sighed while weaving them into a small pair of daggers.
Checking the time at the nearby clock, Ren clocked out of work in time.
"I'm heading to the Guild," he told to his co-worker before heading outside. Dressed in a button-up black shirt, pants, a pair of boots, and a brown trench coat in addition to his fingerless gauntlets, the young man walked by himself.
Spirit looms, his weapon of choice. Sure, this class was not the strongest but it had its perks. A pair of gauntlets or gloves connected to his partner, an Elemental Spirit.
"Oh, edgelord spotted!"
'Edgelord?' Ren thought with a raised brow as he looked at the one that called him an edge lord. Just because he wore all dark colors doesn't mean he is one!
It was a girl. Shocking. She has short lilac hair with bangs that reach down to her collarbone and purple eyes. In her hair, she wears white hair clips in the shape of D-pads, and around her neck is a choker that has a light blue D-pad symbol on it. She wears a mostly white hoodie dress that has a light purple hood, strings that look like controller plugs, and two huge purple and white pockets with purple D-Pad symbols on them. The sleeves have two light blue stripes going all the way down while the front of the hoodie only contains one. The ends of the sleeves and the bottom of the hoodie have dark and light purple stripes. The zipper emblem and the back of the hoodie have a purple letter "N" to represent the first symbol of her name. She wears light blue and white striped thigh-high socks with frills at the tops and her shoes are purple and blue.
"Hello, there Edgelord," The girl said. Despite her... youthful appearance, Ren felt her far longer than normal lifespan and a sort of... power that is divine inside her. "I am Neptune, the protagonist of this story! Wait, I have a feeling that it's not the case in this book,"
'What the hell? Book?' Ren thought to himself while looking at the girl.
"But hey, enough of that. So, overpowered dimensional-hopper," The girl said. "You should stop being such a sulky, brooding Edgy boi and advance the plot. I mean you have that awesome shiny amulet that totally has relevance to this story." The girl said with a grin as she looked at the beautiful barely visible from under his shirt before noticing the bored-looking eyes of the taller black-themed male looking at her. "Oh my," she whispered, hugging her body while turning away. "Oh my poor maidenly body is getting defiled by your mean-looking evil- hey! Where are you going?!"
Ren, having enough of what just happened, turned around and quickly disappeared into the sea of people with ease, escaping from the weird girl who was talking about him.
'She reminds me of Deadpool, but shorter and less vulgar,' Ren thought to himself as he entered a small grocery store. He had enough credits lined up with his commission and guild jobs. Quickly moving through the stores, Ren put everything he needed in the basket before reaching for one thing.
A box of his favorite brand of Gamindustri coffee, guaranteed to kick your senses into gear when working.
Soft.
Ren blinked as he felt something soft and warm on his hand. It was a hand, a human hand. He grabbed it by accident while reaching for the box of coffee.
It belonged to a girl that can be best described as... fluffy... fluffy the Dracolich... wait, just regular fluffy.
"Sorry," It was a girl with long light Congo-pink hair with matching Congo-pink eyes. She wears a tan-white wool sweater top with and matching arm warmers and boots but with fuzzy balls at the top. She also wears a red plaid skirt, a black choker with a small heart on it, black-brown knee-socks with light pink heart cut frills, and often carries a black hip purse, and heart-shaped buttons.
"You're Compa, right?" Ren asked, recognizing her from the descriptions his co-worker and friendly rival IF gave him. Gently, the young man let her hand go with no hesitation, but careful enough not to hurt her.
"Yes, I am Compa," She said with a brow and innocence that made Ren pause. "It's nice to meet you, Mister,"
'Is she serious? She wasn't even cautious or curious about how I knew her!' Ren thought to himself before.
"I'm Ren," He said, giving her his first name.
"Re.... Re... Renny," She said, giving him a nickname.
'She just gave me a nickname,' Ren thought with a sweatrop as she looked at this defenseless girl.
Neptune: As if! She is pretty scary!
Author: What the fuck?! Don't hijack this fic!
Neptune: Hahaha, I am the protagonist! I do what I want!
Author: Oh, you little gremlin...
'That was weird,' Ren thought, wondering if he was accidentally drugged because he thought he heard the voice of that girl who called him an edgelord arguing with some sort eldritch entity that can be the creator of his world that has too much time to waste rather than do something productive like the trash Weaboo they are. 'Well, not my problem,'
"IF told me a lot about you, so please don't freak out,"
"No, it's fine! It's nice to meet you, Renny,"
Nora: Hey! Ren is mine!
Author: Wrong Ren and Universe, Nora. This is Ren Cruz, not Lie Ren.
Nora: Oops! Sorry author!
Ren saw the smile on Compa's face. 'Man, to think REAL nice girls are still around.' He thought as he handed the box of coffee to her before taking another one.
"Here you go, say hello, to IF for me," Ren said while Compa smiled at him and held the box, only to drop it. The contents would have spilled into the ground if not for a thin chain with the same color of the sky wrapped around it, connected to the glove/gauntlet he wore. "That was close," He said, thankful to have the box of holy beverages, saved from the clutches of Gravity. Just like that time a gay priest inverted gravity to do the plan of his gay vampire boyfriend.
Ren blinked as he saw his rival and friend, IF, peeking out of a nearby isle, glaring at him with sharp eyes.
'Women,' Ren thought as he took his cart after helping Compa, to pay for his groceries.

Somewhere in the who knows where.
A fat robot lizard chuckled to itself while sticking its tongue out. "I found a good tailor for my cute little ones," The robot lizard laughed while licking its tongue.
In a small apartment,a curled up green bundle yawned, revealing a set of green scales and a pair of wings wrapped around itself.
