3 weeks after the defeat of Nero - Umio POV (Best boi)

I was in the main base with Uzume, trying to heal her friend as best as i could

No matter what i try, he won't heal

From what Uzume told me, he was way more beaten before i arrived 

It's a chance that he is still alive after what he have taken

He was right, if Uzume would have take just one hit from that guy, she would be dead....

As i was cleaning his wound, it started to heal by itself, and after a few minute, he started to come back

Umio: Welcome back, young men

Nero: W-Where am i? W-Who are you? Your voice seems familiar

Umio: You heard my voice but never met me, my name is Umio, nice to meet you

Nero: O-Oh! It's nice to meet you! I'm-

Umio: Nero, i know. Uzume talk a lot about you

Nero: *Blush* I-Is that so? W-What do she say about me?

Umio: Oh, you know, some private stuff i won't say, because she's behind the door, hearing our talk

Uzume: Eep!

Uzume walk in, a blushing mess, looking at the floor

Nero: *Blushing harder* H-Hey Uzume...

Uzume: H-Hey....

Umio: i think i should leave you two, you have some business to do

As i walked out, i told Uzume something

Umio: *whispers* go on and tell him your feelings

She blushed so hard it was kinda funny to see

I stepped out, a smile on my face

Umio: *Thought* Take care of her, she will need you more than me when all this will be finished

Change POV - Uzume

We stayed silent for a minute, before i stepped forward

And i did something unexpected

I slapped him, hard

Uzume: Have you no idea how much i was worried about you?!

You fought that guy alone, and almost die in the process!

What would have happenened if i lost you?!

Nero: Uzume....

Uzume: What?!

Nero: I was scared....

I was shocked to hear him say that

Even though it was a short time, he always showed no sign of fear before that guy appeared

Nero: That guy.... he was too strong....

I couldn't do anything.....

He could have killed me in a matter of seconds if he had goes serious

He could have torture me every way he wanted

But....

He could have killed you.....

A-and i don't want that to happen

Uzume: Nero.....

He started to sob

Nero: Even though it was a short time.... I don't want to lose you, i don't know what would have happened if he d-d-d-d-did it

He couldn't even manage to say a sentence

His mental health and his pride was broken

All the fight he won, the power he gained, the achivement he did

All of it, broked in a instant

He was sobbing, shaking and breathing heavily

I hugged him to calm him down

He was surprise at first, but return it, and broke down in tears

Even if he was strong, he wasn't prepared to lose

After a few minutes he calmed down

Nero: Thanks, i truly need it...

Uzume: It's not a problem, it would be uncool of me to let you like that

Nero: Yeah....

Uzume: But seriously, never do this again

Nero: Yes ma'am....

Uzume: If not i'm going to beat your ass

Nero: Damn, what a gracious word you used to talk about the part of my body that i use to sit on chair...

Uzume: Could you stop being a smartass for a second?

Nero: Couldn't resist

We laughed before i take my breath and ask him THE thing

Uzume: H-Hey Nero?

Change POV - Nero

Nero: Yeah?

Uzume: Y-You know, it's been a short time since we met, but we kinda, make a bond, you know?

Nero: Yeah, it's surprising how fast we managed to be friend

Uzume: Y-Yeah, it's about that

Nero: Do you.... not want to be friend anymore?

Uzume: Y-Yeah, but i want you to be something more for me

I knew were this was going, so i blushed, hard

Nero: A-And what is that?

Uzume: I-I want you to be my b-b-b-b-b..... damn i'm not good at those things

Nero: I-I would love t-t-to...

Uzume: Y-You knew what i was going to say?

Nero: Y-Yeah, and i was going to tell you when the mission was finished, before it happened....

Uzume: Hey, don't worry about this, we will find a way to beat that guy, just like those giant 

Nero: You're right...

We fixed each other, our gaze full of love for the other(A/N: Yeah i kinda sucks at those things so if you're not happy, then vote for this chapter :D) 

Our lips was about to make contact
