It was cloudy outside and in the middle of a steal table was a girl with bleach blond hair in a hospital gown and she was tied down to the table. She woke up and looked around seeing the ropes she quickly broke free of them and stated undoing her feet. There was a lot of operating tools next to her and needles and she didn't want any part of it. She had no clue where she was but she knew she had to get out. Luckly they thought she wasnt going to be awake any time soon but her body was diffrent so she was awake and ready to be free at last. She hoped off the table and saw the doors leading out and she took off running as fast as she could.

"Hey!" The experment got free!" A man yelled as she busted threw the doors and ran threw ally ways to hear loud sounds that she never heard before but she went to the loud sounds to see a streat with cars and pure panic filled her body.

What year was it?! There were so may cars and lights that didnt make any sence and really tall buildings. She remembered James telling her about a place called New York that was really busy and if they ever got free to met up in Brooklyn where Steve lived. But there was so much stuff that was diffrent, by now he might be dead and she started to cry at the thought if being alone. Then she heard gun shots. She ducked as three guys with guns started to come after her and a car started driving to her.

"No more I'm not going back!" She screamed as she could always head to the ocean. She could smell the salt water from where she stood and she took off running into the street as the gun men ran after her. She had to throw them off her trail so she broke the fire hydrents making the water rise scaring people and alerting the Avengers. She quickly used the water and bent it to her will and shot it at the gun men making them fall to the ground with the sheer force.

"Stop right there!" Tony yelled as she started to panic.

All her life she was told that the avengers were bad and now one was right in front of her she started to cry a bit as pure fear ran threw her body. She wasn't a fighter at all, all she ever wanted was to be treated like a normal person or just to have a single friend that understood her like James did.

"Im not going back to the Lab!" She screamed as he went flying due to the force of her voice.

She walked back a bit in shock not knowing she could do something like that, then bullets rang out and she started running again as fast as she could away from the noise. She wished to god she was brave like James was but he wasnt here and by the looks of it passed away along time ago because everything was so diffrent. From the cloths, the lights, the cars they talked about, nothing was what he described.

"Careful the girl is dangerious!" Tony yelled as he got up and saw the guys with guns and saw the hydra stamp on there jackits.

"Hydra is after her to!" Tony informed as he was got up and started to shot them down but he was going to get his hands on her because she had to be an experment and a really powerful one to have hydra operatives chase her down.

"I got eyes on the target!" Clint said as he pointed an arrow at her that had a net in it.

But when he saw the fear in her eyes it made him freeze as she looked lost and confused. Tears rolling down her face and she was shaking as she was trying to figure out where she was.

"Take her down she's dangouse!" Tony ordered as the gunshots and the loud noises were scarring her and he could see it.

"No shes not Tony she is scared, we need peter to talk her down," clint said as he quickly switched arrows and shot down a hydra agent.

"She has distroyed three blocks!" Nat informed as several people were injured.

"I'll take her down," wanda informed as she had eyes on her and thats when she saw her.

"Im not going back to lab! Please dont make me go back!" She begged as she started crying.

"Dont worry im not going to hurt you," wanda said as she tried trapping her but she quickly escaped and a large wave of water quickly towered over her.

"Oh shit!" Wanda gasped as she tried holding up the wall of water but then the fire hydrents around her busted as the rain water from the streets and hit her hard.

"You lie! You know what's wrong with humans they lie! The sea creatures dont lie! Your kind murdered my best friend and I can't be in a world with people like you because im not like any of you! I don't lie about things and my best friend died protecting me! I wanted him to have a long happy life because he deserved it!

I dont deserve to be be alive because once an experment always an experment! People are horrable to each other and i cant belive your kind has existed for this long! I'm going where I belong, away from all of you!" She screamed as wanda was hurt bad by her. Pietro tried taking her out but she hit him with a wall water to.

"You may have been treated bad by people but some people are good," wanda said as she tried getting up.

"Your right his name was James, James Buchanan Barnes, he was a soldier in WW2 who caught in the 107th before being caught by hydra, he was the only one that talked to me in decades! He never gave up on talking to me even though he was being beat and torchered! One day they torchered him so bad that he couldnt even talk to me because the things they did to him were beyomd what I could comprehend and not even half an hour later they tried taking him but I screamed breaking my tank and drowning the men that were near my tank.

They were so shocked that i did that but what shocked them most was when I grew legs. They lost interest in him and took me away instead and when they fixed my tank and torchering me he was gone and I knew he died of his injuries. People are so cruel and I dont want to be a part of that more than I was already so you are going to have to kill me because I'm not going to be your pet any more!" She yelled as sheild agents and Hydra agents were after her including the avengers and seeing them she quickly started to run again as Pietro weakly got up.

"Bucky are you there!? Wanda asked as Steve quickly tackled her and she started flaling and screaming bloody murder.

"James!" She screamed as she started hitting sheave as hard as she could.

"We aren't trying to hurt you you!" Steve nearly yelled at her scaring her more.

"I don't belive you!" She yelled as she tried pushing him off of her.

"Yeah!" He answered as he was trying to find Steve.

"The girl is some one you know she thinks your dead! She is an experment, she said your the only one that ever talked to her. Steve has her right now and she is scared out of her mind. She might hurt more people by accident if she isn't contained, " she informed as the girl made a twenty foot wave and it was about to hit them both.

"We arent trying to hurt you! You have to trust me we are the good guys here!" Steve informed seeing the water.

"I dont belive you! I dont belive people like you! Humans are liars! They hurt and betray each other like its a game and I'm not playing the game with you any more!" She yelled as the wave started to head down at them.

"What I dont know anyone from the lab. Well anyone alive right now, They may have given her false memories," Bucky informed.

"Look she knows you pretend you know her shes going to drown New York City if we dont do something!" Steve said as he let her go and the water split where he stood and hit the cars and was coming down to the other avengers and sheild agents.

"Where is she?" He asked as she was close to the ocean.

"She's heading to the ocean!" Tony yelled as he got a lock on her.

"Okay i will be there," he said as steve was trying to keep her from going to to the water and killing herself. She kept trying to hide or to make Steve go away but he kept comming back scaring her into thinking there was no escape.

"Hey!" Bucky yelled as she trapped Steve in a water bubble but it broke as she saw him and looked at him with pure shock.

"James?!" She asked as she started to break down and cry.

"Hey, long time no see," he said as she ran up to him and hugged him and he didnt know what to do. He didnt know what to do or say to her really.

"Look I can walk now isn't grate! I still have my fish tail but I can be normal now, just like you," she said as she huged him and thats when he saw a guy linning up to shot her.

"Bucky keep her there that guy has a trankaliser in his gun," he said as he felt bad for having to do it this way but she was dangerous to herself and others.

"That's amazing, im glad your okay," he said as she smiled.

"I thought you were dead I was so scared I really tied to do what we promised each other but I was lossing hope since the experments kept getting worse and worse but I got out! I'm just so happy right now your okay you look grate for an old man," she said as she huged him tightly.

"I'm really sorry," he said as he looked at the gunman and couldnt help but fall apart a bit because he couldn't remember her.

"Dont be im happy i can finnaly hug you and thank you for making my time in the lab not so bad. Can we do what we promised now before these guys try to get me." She asked with a smile.

"Yeah of corse we can, we can do what ever you want," he said as the gunman shot her. She pulled away weakly and she pulled the dart out of shoulder and looked at him with tears in her eyes.

Not happy ones but ones filled with hurt and betraial.

"You lied to me? I thought you were diffrent, your just like the hydra agents that hurt me," she said as she fell to her knees as the gunman shot her again.

"I'm so sorry," he said as he got on his kneed and let her lean on him for support.

"No your not, I hope hydra treats you well," she wispered before passing out.

He didnt know why that hurt him so much but it did. It felt like he was fighting with tony all over again. He betrayed her a person she trusted and was so happy to see again but he ended up putting her back in a prison. He held her close as she slept and carefully removed the darts from her skin. But as soon as he did her skin started to peel a bit and her blond hair was turning a little but gray.

"Tony I think we hurt her!" Bucky hollered as Tony saw her skin on her arms was peeling a bit.

"It's just a horse tranquilizer, it shouldn't have hurt her that bad," he said as Bucky picked up her up.

She was so small compared to him and underweight which meant they were starving her.

"I think I have a collar made but I don't know if it will work with her or not, I never seen anyone with powers like hers before," Tony informed.

"We need to make sure she eats to. She is really small. I promise we will sort this all out okay. You got my word on that," Bucky said as Steve was holding his side a bit.
