StarCrusher and Heat went slowly to a hidden dune. They quickly dug it up and placed it in the moonlight.

"If this works, Star," Heat said. "She will be strong. After all, the last brightest night was ages ago. Since the Dragonets of Destiny."

The egg wobbled in place. There was a crack that formed across the shell. A head popped out. She was a small dragonet. She had dark blue scales and she stared into her parents eyes. They stared at each other for a long moment until the sun started to rise.

Her scales shifted to the color of the sky. "My little dragonet!" StarCrusher exclaimed. "We will name her Dawn."

Dawn looked into their eyes once more. The large dragons carried her to a small stone house next to Possibility. They stayed there as the dragonet grew up. Raising her. Caring for her. Their love for her was as deep as the sky.
