You were in the backseat of Stiles car.

"I don't get why am I the lookout."

"Im here too Stiles."

"Well yeah. I have a question."

"What is it?"

"Did you really never date ? Like no boyfriend even in your time at Virginia?"

"Yeah I've been single."

That's when you hear honking. Stiles was honking and Scott landed on the hood of the car.

"Go! Stiles!"

You sat up and put your seatbelt on.

"So did you kill him?" You asked

"Yeah, I was there last night. And the blood? A lot of it was mine."

" So, you did attack him?"

"No. I-I-I saw glowing eyes in the bus, but they weren't mine--"

You and stiles were anxious

" It was Derek."

Your jaw dropped

"What about the driver?"

" I think I was actually trying to protect him"

"I don't think it was Derek!"

"Wait-- why would Derek help you remember that he attacked the driver?"

" That's what I don't get."

"Well for one ! Maybe it wasn't him!"

"Why are you protecting him?!"

"I'm Not !!"

"It's gotta be a pack thing."

"What do you mean?"

"Like an initiation. You do the kill together."

" Because ripping someone's throat out is a real bonding experience?"

"Yeah, but you didn't do it! Which means you're not a killer! And it also means that--"

" I can go out with Allison!"

"Yeah! But that doesn't mean Derek is the killer !"

"I was gonna say it means you won't kill me or y/n"

"Oh, yeah. That, too."

*time skip*

There you were at home watching tv when you heard someone knocking. Once you went to go open it you saw a classmate, named Drew

"Hi drew ! What brings you here?"

"Well I noticed you didn't come to first period so I wanted to bring you the homework."

He handed you a folder, causing you to smile

"Oh thank you! Do you want to come in?"

"Nah it's alright my Mom is expecting me for dinner. "

"Haha alright."

"But I also wanted to know if you'd like to go out tomorrow night."

"As a date ?"

Drew nodded

"Yes a date ."

What you didn't know was that Derek was in his car listening in on what that kid was telling you. Derek clenched his jaw

"Yeah id love to."

"Great I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yes of course !"

As soon as he left you closed the door. You went up to your room and smiled setting the folder there. You put some Music on and began to do the homework.

*timeskip*

Scott just arrived at Derek's house at night

"Derek! I know you're here! I know what you did!"

"I didn't do anything."

Scott looked around unsure where it came from , within the house. Since Scott didn't believe him he got closer up the stairs to see where Derek actually was

"You killed him!"

"He died."

"Like your sister died?"

" My sister was missing. I came here looking for her."

"You found her."

Scott was waiting for Derek to respond so hi can pinpoint his location within the house. But it seems Derek lost his temper

"I found her in pieces! Being used as bait to catch me." He growled

"I think you killed them both. I'm gonna tell everyone, starting with the Sheriff."

Scott reaches the top of the staircase and turns to the left, not noticing until the last minute that Derek has been on the right side the whole time. Derek appears behind him, grabbing him by the shoulders and tossing him down the staircase. He stands at the top of the staircase as Scott finally lands on the ground floor. Scott quickly transforms as he charged at Derek. They both began to fight and Scott grabs Derek
By the jacket and tosses him. Once Derek went through the wall he fell on to his back

"Huh that was cute."

Derek them transforms as his eyes flash blue. He and Scott continued to fight as they both landed good hits on one another. But since Derek is more experienced he managed to hurt Scott causing him to transform back to human.

"I didn't kill him. Neither of us did. It's not your fault, and it's not mine."

Scott got upset, he stood up

" This? This is all your fault! You ruined my life!"

Derek and Scott are now in each others' faces

"No, I didn't."

"You're the one that bit me!" Yelled Scott

" No, I'm not." Said Derek

Derek was irritated, and Scott looked at him in shock

"What?"

"I'm not the one that bit you."

Scott then has flashes from his incident.

"...There's another."

"It's called an Alpha. It's the most dangerous of our kind. You and I? We're Betas. This thing is more powerful, more animal than either of us. My sister came here looking for him. Now I'm trying to find him. But, I don't think I can do it without you."

Scott felt like he couldn't breath

"Why me?"

"Because he's the one that bit you. You're part of his pack."

Scott looked up at Derek, his face had a grim expressions as did Scott's.

"It's you, Scott. You're the one he wants."

Derek saw Scott's face turn sour as he didn't want any of this.

"Didnt your friend tell you?"

"Tell me what?"

"The girl... the cheerleader y/n."

"What about her?"

"She did tell you didn't she? That she had an incident with the Alpha."

"Right! But I thought it was you, and I told you to stay away from her and Allison!"

"Clearly it wasn't me!" Growled Derek

"Either way stay away from them both! And Stiles! All my friends !"

"You better hope the Alpha doesn't take her."

"Why do you care so much-"

Derek grabbed Scott by the hem of his shirt and pinned him against the wall.

"He might've already have her scent! I cant always be there to protect her! Your her best friend ! "

"Y/n?"

"Who else you idiot !?"

"You didn't answer my question! Why do you care so much."

Derek let him go.

"Leave... it's getting late"
