Everyone was at the game, you were doing your usual stuff cheering for the team. You had went to your co Captain and told her to be in charge for a bit. You sighed and sat down on the bench with Stiles

"How's he doing."

"Well trying not to get angry when Allison and Lydia are cheering for Jackson."

"Well then... I gotta cheer louder."

"You would do that?"

"Anything for Scott. Also anything for you too."

You went towards your Cocaptain

"Alright let's cheer for number 11, his name is Scott McCall and he's pretty good."

"Alright."

You began to make some noise with your squad

"Score! Score!
We want more!
We'll drive it to the finish,
And own that board!"

You ended the chant with a few flips in the air as you landed down. You smiled as you clapped and cheered

"Yeah! Go Scott ! Wooooooo!" You yelled

Once you did the rest of your team cheered for Scott very loudly. Soon you could see Scott go a bit more aggressive

"Oh no."

"Yeah he's turning."

"Don't worry he's got this."

After a while you saw that Scott had the final shot. Which you were bumped up about

"Stiles!"

"Yeah!"

"He's gonna make !"

Once he did everyone cheered. You and Stiles jumped in excitement, you hugged stiles and kissed his cheek. Everyone was cheering, as you see Scott run off towards the locker room. You then see stiles talking to his dad so you went towards the team and congratulated them. Hugging everyone, and saying congrats, and good job. That's when stiles grabbed you

"Derek's out."

"What?"

"We gotta tell Scott, have you seen him?"

"Yeah, at the locker room let's go."

You two walked there to see Allison and Scott kissing.

"I've got to head back to my dad."

"Yeah bye."

"Hi stiles, Hi y/n."

You two waved at her with a smile

"I kissed her."

"We saw."

"She kissed me."

"Saw that, too. That's pretty good, huh?"

You could tell Stiles was annoyed.

"Our boys first kiss!"

"Well actually my first kiss was with you."

"Hey I thought I was the first kiss!"

"Guys ! I was in second grade ! You were in first !"

"Even from a young age being a player."

"No I wasn't !"

"Well I-I-I don't know how, but I controlled it. I pulled it back. Maybe I can do this? Maybe it's not that bad?"

"That's good Scott ! I'm happy for you! Plus me and Stiles can help any time as well."

"Yeah..Heh... we'll talk later, then..."

You slightly elbowed Stiles but he shook his head no, and that's what Scott noticed

"What?"

Since Stiles didn't want to effect his best friends mood.

"The, uh, medical examiner looked at the other half of the body we found..."

"..And?"

"Well, I'll keep it simple. Medical examiner determines killer of girl to be animal, not human. Derek's human, not animal. Derek? Not killer. Derek? Let out of jail."

"Are you kidding?"

"Sadly he isn't. So I'm sure Derek wouldn't be too happy that us three put him in jail."

"Why you too?"

"I might've been inside his house?"

"What?!"

"Yeah you guys were taking forever to dig!"

"Did you leave a scent!?"

"Well no I don't think so."

"And here's a bigger kick in the ass-- my dad ID'd the dead girl. Both halves. Her name was Laura Hale."

You were shocked almost had your whole jaw hit the floor, as Scott was a bit unsure but surprised

"Wait! What ! Laura Hale?!"

" Hale?"

"That's Derek's sister!" You said

You were walking home, after the whole situation Stiles told you. You couldn't ask him for a ride cause you had to stay and help clean. As you were walking you had gotten really cold. You had dropped something and went to pick it up when you heard a twig snap. You looked around, and continued to walk. That's when you thought you heard a few leaves rustle and another twig snap. You stopped and looked into the woods. You were getting a bit closer inside until you saw red eyes.

"Scott?"

You heard the growl and noticed the eyes go taller. You dropped your gym bag and you felt your heartbeat faster than ever.

"Y-your not Scott."

The growling got intense when he suddenly lunged, you made a run for it back to the street. Instead of the leaves crunching you heard a few trees breaking. You had twisted your ankle upon going up the tiny hill towards the road, that's when you felt something grab your leg. You screamed, you managed to kick it right in the face somehow and you quickly went towards the road, upon landing on the concrete you saw headlights, the car swerved a bit and stopped. You were catching your breath when you hear the car door open

"What the hell!-"

Derek had come out of his car to see you, he noticed your leg was bleeding a bit.

"I-I'm sorry... I just didn't know what happened. "

Your heartbeat had a little thump. Which he knew you were lying

"Well get up ."

Derek helped you up.

"Are you bleeding?-"

"No. I just twisted my ankle I just gotta go home."

There it was again. That thump. You lying to him. He grabbed your arm, yanked you close to him

"Tell me the truth. I know Scott's told you and his little buddy what I am."

"Transform."

"What?"

"Please."

Derek had transformed. You touched his face and noticed his eyes, if you were being honest he didn't look bad, neither did Scott. You pulled away

"Then it wasn't you."

"What do you mean?"

You looked at the woods again

"There was a huge one, with red eyes. At first I- I thought Scott was pranking me but I was wrong. He scratched me-"

"He did?!"

"Yeah- woah- hey!"

You felt lifted up and placed on top of his trunk. He lifted your leg and ripped your pants

"Hey!-"

He saw scratches but they were light and not so deep. He lifted your leg higher

"Mind telling me what your doing ?!"

"Checking to see if they were deep. We don't need another teenage werewolf. Especially a girl."

You moved your leg away

"I'll be an awesome werewolf FYI!"

Derek grabbed your leg again

"I think you didn't twist your ankle."

"No! Don't say that! I won't be able to cheer!"

"The world is gonna end."

"Fine I have a first aid kit at home. And your coming with me."

"Why?"

"Cause... I.. i need help bandage it."

You jumped off his trunk and went to the passenger side.

"I could tell when your lying you know."

"I wasnt ! I actually need help."

*time skip*

You arrived at your house, and noticed the lights were off

"My aunt isn't home yet. "

As you got off the car and began to walk you were stopped

"Hey what are you-"

"You shouldn't even be walking on that leg."

You were lifted up, and placed down at your front door

"Wait.. oh no my gym back! "

"What?!"

"I have a makeup bag in there that has my keys and my necklace ! We gotta go back-"

"No-"

"Yes-! We can't enter the house without those keys and MY NECKLACE!"

"Stop it your not going back!"

"I have to! It's important!"

"No!"

"Please let me go ! I need that necklace !"

"Stop! That back there was an Alpha ! He's tear your to pieces "

"I don't care ! That necklace is the only thing I have left of my mom alright ! I'd rather die with it then without it !"

"I'll get it for you alright !? Just go inside."

Derek can hear your heart beating as fast as it could.

"Calm down... your heart is beating super fast right now you don't think the alpha can hear it?"

You kneeled down next to a potted plant and took a key which you opened the door, and placed the key back. You walked towards the kitchen with Derek following behind.

"Look-"

You went towards the cabinet to grab it but Derek lifted you up again and placed You on the counter. He grabbed the first aid kit and took out the things

"The fact you lift me up with ease is so comforting."

Derek stood quiet.

"I am a werewolf."

You rolled your eyes.

"Whatever you say."

Once he finished fixing you up he was going to lift you up again but you stopped him

"No! I can walk to my room, you should leave."

"Are you sure you want that? Earlier I could tell you were lying."

Derek was getting closer to you.

"So tell me... why did you want me to stay here with you?"

You looked up at him. He still managed to be taller than you even with you sitting on the counter. He was super close and you were getting nervous, but you tried to stay calm

"Just to patch me up."

"There it is again. That little thump I hear whenever you lie."

Derek face was just a few inches away. His lips were so close to yours, right when you were going to push him away you heard

"Y/n! You left the door- OH!"

You pushed Derek away, and jumped down wincing in pain a bit

"Auntie ! It's not what it looks like !"

"Jeez You could've texted me you were gonna bring a boy- wait ! DEREK HALE !?"

"Haha hi Ms. Whittier!"

"The boy- I mean Man now ! Oh my god Derek Hale it's been such a long time."

You backed away a bit.

"Yeah it has been."

"I didn't know you were back at Beacon Hills- wait is that why you were asking me about him?"

"Yeah, auntie."

"No wonder ! I can see why my niece always gushes when talking about you! 'Oh Derek is so hot'-"

"AUNTIE ! I never did that!"

Derek looked back at you and held a smile, along with sending you a wink. You blushed again

"I mean you kinda did. "

You groaned while placing your head in the counter

"Well what are you two doing here huh? I hope you were-"

"NOOO! Auntie ! I twisted my ankle at the game Today and he was kind enough to take me home."

"Oh how sweet. Did you guys win?"

"Yes Scott made the final shot! It was so cool!"

"Well I gotta be going."

"Oh of course ! I'm sorry my niece couldn't introduce her boyfriend by inviting him to dinner."

"Oh no-"

"He's not my boyfriend !! Well Derek's I think it's time to-"

Your aunt covered your mouth

"Oh hush! The door is always open Derek, stop by any time. Hopefully some day you'll come for dinner ?"

"I'd love that Ms. Whittier. I'll see around y/n."

Derek left and you were finally let go

"Auntie ! Why would you say all those things !"

"They were true !"

"No! ! Ugh I'm going to my room."

"Yeah yeah. I love you too!"

You went into your room, and opened the window sticking your head out

"I know you can hear me Derek. All that stuff
My aunt said was a lie."

Of course you knew you weren't getting a response back. But you definitely knew he hears you. You were going to leave but went back out

"And I also wanted to say I'm sorry... for your sister... goodnight."

You went back in, you could hear his car turn on and leave. Soon you showered, changed and laid in your bed. You took off your bandages and saw your wound completely healed. You threw them away and went to sleep.
