You had gotten a text from Stiles saying he and Scott were in detention because Scott got beat up for keying someone's car. You waited outside Mr. Harris room as the two boys were almost out. The doors open and out they come

"I'm gonna be with Stiles today..."

"Yeah I gotta go to work. I'll see you guys."

Scott left as you and Stiles walked to his car.

It was night time, You, Stiles, and Scott were outside the school waiting for Derek.

"So he basically beat up your boss? Tied him up and started questioning him?"

"Yes ! He's insane!"

You stood quiet as you crossed your arms.

"Oh I wanted to remind myself y/n"

You hummed as a response

"Isn't your birthday coming up?"

"Yeah, it is."

"Turning the big old 1 and 8!"

"18!? Why are you still a junior ?"

"Cause Scott I moved to Virginia ! And mystic falls Didn't send my transcripts on time."

"That sucks."

"I know. But when I graduate I'm still gonna be 18."

"That's good."

"Yes it is. And I'm gonna miss My boys !"

You Engulfed them both in a side hug as each arm was around their necks.

"This is a terrible idea."

"Yeah, I know."

"But we're still gonna do it...?"

"Can you think of something better?"

"Well, personally, I'm a fan of ignoring a problem until eventually it just goes away..."

"Just make sure we can get inside."

You three Derek's headlights from his car as he parked behind Stiles Jeep

"He's here."

Derek gets out and sees you three.

"Where's my boss?"

" He's in the back."

Derek opens the passenger to show Scott's boss.

"Oh, well, he looks comfortable."

"Wait--Hey. What are you doing?"

"You said I was linked with the Alpha-- I'm gonna see if you're right."

"Stay here y/n."

You nodded, Stiles and Scott went inside as you stayed outside with Derek and Scott's boss knocked out in the backseat of Derek's car.

"They shouldn't have brought you. It's dangerous."

You looked at Derek

"Their my bestfriend.. I wasn't gonna let them do this alone. Plus that bastard bites Scott and thinks he can run him around. He's totally wrong."

"Are you alright ?"

"I'm fine! Why does everyone ask me that."

"Well we left off on bad terms and I wanted to apologize."

"Why do you care? "

Derek looked off to the side

"Like I said I'm sorry I don't care if you forgive me or not-"

You just shrugged at him, rubbing your arms.

"Okay."

You then heard a howl through the coms of the school. You looked back at it and laughed. Derek seemed annoyed.

"You've got to be kidding me."

Derek looked at you with an upset expression. Just to see you smiling looking at the School, then You slightly shivered as it got really cold. Derek took off his jacket.

"Here."

You looked at him

"No."

"Cmon your cold. Take my jacket."

"No."

"Fine suit your self."

The wind picked up and you got super cold. You shivered once again and looked at Derek who just looking at the stars with his jacket around his shoulder. You puffed your cheeks

"Can I please-"

He was Already holding it out for you. You grabbed it quickly putting it on when suddenly an actual wolf howl erupted the school as it was super loud. Derek squinted a bit as it was a bit louder for him.

"Holy cow thst was super loud!" You smiled

You started clapping your hands. You see Stiles and Scott come out

"Oh my god ! That was SO COOL!" You gushed

You hugged Scott and then Stiles, Derek went to them both

"I'm gonna kill both of you! What the hell was that? What are you trying to do, attract the entire state to the school?"

"Sorry... I didn't know it would be that loud..."

"Yeah, it was loud... and it was AWESOME!"

"Yes ! SUPER AWESOME !"

"Shut up." Growled Derek

You Slightly frowned as Stiles smirked

"Don't be such a sour-wolf!"

Stiles elbowed you as you laughed.

"Your wearing his jacket?"

"Well it got cold."

"What'd you do with him?"

"What?I didn't do anything..."

"He's gone ! "

"Y/n! What the hell!"

"I swear! Derek and I didn't do anything. We were just-"

"Flirting?!"

You gasped, as Derek rolled his eyes

"No! We weren't Flirting ! You know what ! I'm still upset that you told Allison he was my boyfriend. Now Lydia knows, So does Jackson! And I'm sure everyone in the school does !"

"You told them I was her boyfriend ?!"

"You said that!? Way to go Derek!"

Stiles raised his hand to high five Derek, but Derek just growled at him causing Stiles to back away.

"Well y/n's hot ! Most of the guys in school and the lacrosse team want to be with her."

"I- it was- something from the moment ! I just blurted it out-"

You rolled your eyes

"Y/n please forgive me!"

You looked at Scott and engulfed him in a hug

"I Can stay mad at my best friend ! Especially after that Howl! So cool!" You giggled

"Yeah enough you two."

You three looked at Derek as he coughed blood.

"Derek?!"

Red eyes appeared behind him as Derek was lifted up in the air.

"DEREK!" You yelled

Stiles grabbed your arm, the Alpha threw Derek towards the school as he was there dead

"DEREK-!"

"RUN!"

You, Scott Stiles ran towards the school entrance..

"Hurry up! Lock it !"

The two doors slammed shut as you were looking and saw the bolt cutters and quickly placed them there.

"You think it'll hold?" Asked Scott

"D-Derek's outside - he-he's dead-"

Stiles looked at you, and saw how you were breath he went to you

"Y/n! Cmon let's go over here."

"Where !?"

"Anywhere !?

Stiles helped you up as you three ran to a classroom. Upon arriving you sat down in the teachers chair as Stiles went to you. He grabbed your hands

"Hey y/n, it's alright look, it's just. Me and Scott alright we're here for you. Just say the names out loud alright. Im gonna talk to Scott."

You nodded, as Stiles left.

"Stiles... Scott...Mom... Dad"

You stood up and went towards the window, as Stiles and Scott were talking.
