Lauren hasn't talked to any of her friends today. She has been pushing everyone away. I hope someone can get through to her. Dad said he talked to her last night. He said everything will be okay. I think that means she is staying. I can't just let her go away. She can't.. I need my older sister..

"Clare, walk home with Ray. Make sure he protects you. If anything happens to you its on him. You are going to have to walk home with him from now on."

"When are you getting home?"

"I don't know. Dad is picking me up and taking me to his job, I am going. No one is going to stop me Clare. I am doing this to protect you and everyone I care about. Make sure you do your homework. Listen to Mom and Dad."

"You sound like you saying good bye.." 

"I don't know when I will be home. I may need to stay were Mom and Dad work for a while. I really don't know. Just please stay safe."

"Alright. I will. Bye sis."

"Bye lil sis."

I watched as she walked away and got into Dads car. I went to find Ray. He was with the other Lads. I pulled him to the side and told him what happened. 

"Hey, it will be okay. I know it will. She is the strongest person she has ever met. She can hold her own against anything."

"I know, I'm just scared. Why would they need such young soldiers to fight? I'm scared because I feel like the enemy is stronger than we think."

"Or, only the younger generation is capable of what they have in store. You said your parents work with technology right? Well the younger generation is able to use newer technology then older. I sure Lauren will be fine."

"You think so.." 

"I know so. Come on lets go back to my place, we can play video games, watch TV or a movie. What you want."

"Alright. Lets go."
