-Clare's POV-
What are they talking about? I looked towards Lauren as if she knew what i was thinking, oddly enough she did and nodded. We walked back down stairs, Lauren leaned in the door frame with her arms crossed, i stood behind her. 

"So whats this about the truth?" Lauren said.

Mom sighed. I don't think she wanted us to know to protect us. "Sometimes i forget that you two have excellent hearing."

"What's the truth Dad?" I said.

"Alright, you know how we never really told you about our job?"

Lauren and I nodded.

"Well, we work for the government and we are trying to gather information about 'humans' because they are building an army to attack and get rid of all hybrids. They feel they are superior and are growing in numbers. The job wants to send in people that have high instincts and there animal side is a strong one. We were never really fighting. Although we hated doing it we have done everything to keep you two as safe as possible." Dad said.

"So your saying they want to send my sister war?!" I was not going to let this happen! No way!

"Once she is eighteen and if her instincts are still strong it is very possible." Mom said. " I don't want that to happen."

"Honey, they may take people that are younger than eighteen if necessary. Youngest age is sixteen." Dad said to mom.

"NO! I will not let them take my daughter! We need to figure it out so they don't go!" Mom said.

"Mom. It's okay. I will be fine. I'm strong enough. I can do it." Lauren said.

"No! I wont let you go sis! You need to stay here with me! Plus what will all our friends think!" 

"Its fine Clare! Besides all of our friends are weak. I can easily beat them in a fight, plus there animals are pathetic. Maybe Jack would be able to deal some real damage but everyone else would go hide hearing the word danger."

"That really what you think of all them? Even Ryan?" 

"That is what I think about there animal. Yeah even Ryan he is a pathetic cow. If i had to I would definitely kill a cow. Hell I have killed rabbits before, that was fun." She has killed rabbits before... Ray. Damn it, Lauren what the hell was going through your mind?

"LAUREN!" Mom and Dad said at the same time.

"What?" 

"You've killed rabbits?!" Okay them talking at the same time is getting creepy.

"Yeah. So? I'm a wolf remember? I have high instincts remember? When I get angry, which has been a lot recently, I need to take my anger out on something." 

"So you go to the park and take your anger out on the fake ones! What if it was Ray?! You could have killed Ray!" 

"Well then shit happens! You will just have to protect him. Now if you excuse me I have some training to do." Lauren said before walking out.

"Mom, Dad you can't let her go! Please! I know my sister. I don't want her to push everyone away so she can train and increase her instincts."

"I will talk to when she gets home. I think she needs to cool off." Dad said.

"Alright.."

I walked to my room and turned on my xbox. Ray was on and invited me to his game and we started playing, I also told him about what happened leaving out the part about Lauren killing rabbits.
