Of course, the one day I wanted to spend with Barricade was the same day he was apparently needed for a meeting with Optimus Prime himself- so for the rest of the day, I would be spending it on my own as I walked around the base and thought to myself.. yay me.

        Glancing around me, I blew the hair out of my eyes and glanced around me- the only people in the base were the soldiers, and they were too busy working or helping out the new Autobots. So for the most part, I would end up entertaining myself and waiting for Barricade to get done with the meeting which would hopefully be soon..

        Taking a right turn, I headed down a large, empty hallway so I could familiarize myself with it since it would most likely have more rooms added onto it by the end of the month. Of course, since fate hated me today as per usual- I wasn’t even allowed that…

        Turning around at the sound of footsteps, my eyes searched until they landed on a soldier who had followed me down the barely lit halls. Letting out a sigh, my lips turned up as I smiled towards him. “Hey- sorry, I was just exploring and getting used to this area.. I’m Lucille, Ironhide’s daughter.”

        I didn’t get a response though, at least not in words, but he lifted his hand up and removed his sunglasses- almost immediately I noticed the red eyes, the same red eyes I would never forget for the rest of my life, and my own eyes widened in terror as I backed up some- only for a box behind me to stop me from doing just that.

        “W-who the frag are you?! How did you get in here?!” Of course, the little glitch decided not to answer me and instead he started walking closer to me… Oh Primus, this wasn’t going to end well for me was it? Was fate against me today, or was I just unlucky today of all days..?

        Before I could do or say anything else, I was tackled to the ground by the swiftly transforming man. Hitting the ground hard, I let out a groan of pain as my ears ringed and my eyesight blurred for a few seconds before I spotted the thing still above me with a wicked grin on it’s lip… Oh sweet Primus no…

Finally getting to my senses, I let out a deafing scream in hopes of someone hearing it and coming to my rescue- unless of course fate even hated that, and decided to deny me any safe haven at all today.. “Get the frag off me you little glitch!” I yelled out, moving around and trying to get free of his grip.

        Thankfully, help arrived in the form of an angry Barricade and he swiftly ripped the ‘Con off of me and stood between us.. “Don’t touch her.” He growled out, and just hearing how cold and angry he was… it sent shivers up my spine, as I closed my eyes and shook my head for a few seconds.

        Of course, the intimidating moment was ruined when a familiar Autobot came rushing down the hallway with his arms full of data pads. Before I could shout out a warning to the bot, he stepped on the ‘Con and went flying- data pads escaping his arms and flying all around us, most of them heading towards Barricade and I…

        Swiftly the taller man knelt down and grabbed me, as if trying to protect me from the raining data pads- well, that is until the flying data pad heading our way was caught by none other than my father… “What happened here?” He asked, voice gruff as per usual as he glanced around- of course, Ratchet was already attending to the needs of Xandred who was looking around in confusion.

        “What did I step on..?” The visor wearing mech asked, before noticing the smears of energon and the offlined body of the ‘Con who had tried to kill Lucille. “You stepped on a vermin, that’s all…” Barricade responded, as he helped me stand up on my own two feet. This would be fun to explain to Optimus...

Hey guys, surprise update time! XD If you read at least one of my other stories, then you know all there is to know- basically life has been a bitch to me, and so has writers block!  I won't be able to update really every Sunday, but I will try to once summer starts up again guys! Yay~ The picture above it what Xandred looks like~ I don't know who the artist is (I lost the link!) but they are amazing and they make BEAUTIFUL drawings of ocs!  So go find them and follow them and all that!
