The first thing I noticed when I started coming to, was the sound of yelling- and as my eyes slowly blinked open, I finally realized it was two mechs arguing close by. Looking towards where the arguing was coming from, I was barely able to sustain my laughter at the hilarious sight going on not too far from where I was.

                Barricade was currently arguing with Ratchet, while laying down in one of the medical berths not too far from my small human-sized medical berth… well, let me rephrase and say that Barricade was arguing with Ratchet until the medic pulled out his wrench and threatened to hit him upside the helm if he didn’t stop being stubborn.

                As Barricade suddenly stopped arguing, of course he muttered under his breath still, I couldn’t stop myself- I burst into a fit of laughter, curling in on myself while tears came to my eyes at hard I was currently laughing. When I finally calmed down and wiped the tears from my eyes, I looked towards the two and saw Barricade’s holoform rushing over towards me.

                When he finally made it to me, I had slipped off of the human-sized berth and held my arms out for the hug I knew was coming from the mech. Not too soon afterwards, I was pulled into a very tight hug which I of course returned with the same amount of force… or at least I tried to, since he was much stronger than I was obviously.

                “I was so worried when you suddenly fainted like that, just out of the blue…” I heard him whisper into my hair, and I could hear how worried he was in the tone of his voice- and never again did I want to worry him like that, not if I could help myself from doing so. “Even after the medic assured me you were fine, I wouldn’t believe him until I saw it for myself…”

                Burying my face in his neck and listening to his word, finally I realized that he hadn’t meant to hurt me when he hadn’t told me about who and what he truly was… he was trying to protect me, to keep me from being hurt later on. “I promise to never put you through that again… as long as you promise the same thing, I thought you were going to die…” I whispered softly into his ear.

                A slight chuckle escaped him and rumbled in his chest, and I felt the slight vibrations in his chest from him chuckling- and immediately there was a wide smile on my face, because now all was well again… well, at least enough that we were together again. “I promise you Lucy, never again will I keep a secret from you and never again will I ever make you cry…”

                Glancing up at him when he pulled away, our eyes met and I then realized how much I had hurt him but I could tell he realized how much he had hurt me when he had done what he did- when he had lied to me and when he had been one of the ones to take my mother. “I’m sorry for what I told you, last time I saw you ‘Cade… I was angry and sad, and even then I shouldn’t have said all that…”

                Taking my face in his hands, ‘Cade smiled and kissed my forehead softly which caused me to sigh quietly and close my eyes in content. I never wanted anything to change again, all I wanted was to stay here with ‘Cade in this moment where there was nothing keeping us apart and nothing that could ever tear us apart when we were together.

                “Lucy, when I saw how broken you looked crying before me when you found out… I wanted to go back in time and fix what I had done to you, there was nothing more I wanted to do in the world than reverse time so I could tell you myself… you had every right to be angry at me. I hurt you and that was the worst thing I could ever do to you.” Cade told me, and I saw the clear truth in his eyes.

                Leaning our foreheads together, he had to bend over a little since he was taller than me of course, we stared into each other’s eyes and smiled at each other- as if we had our own little secret, a secret that no one else in the entire universe would never understand or get or laugh at because they didn’t know the story behind the secret.

                “Would the two of you stop flirting in my med bay, unless either of you are severely injured then you don’t need to be in here!” We heard Ratchet yelling, causing us to roll our eyes… of course, that is until he spoke again. “If you both aren’t out in the next ten seconds, I will personally severely injure you with this wrench and then slowly and painfully fix you up!” …Scrap.

I'm back guys! I have an honest excuse! Well, if you count school as an excuse... I just finished my third week, and I have had two research papers due in psychology already- I got good grades on them, for those who are wondering XD

I can't promise I will always update every week, but I will TRY my best!

And I know that's TFP Ratchet, but for the life of  me I couldn't find Bayverse Ratchet with a wrench! DX
