"now we should go your highness" Dan Sae said bowing.

"ok, then let's go, I believe that David can come too, right?" Maurice asked to his orderly, Dan Sae's answer soon followed.

"of course your Highness".

They made their way through the marketplace, soon they arrived at the royal palace, a guard at the entrance asked for the identity and Dan Sae explained the situation. In order to reach the throne room where the duke would meet her majesty they had to pass through the beautiful gardens of the palace. 

"oh, I think that we arrived a bit too soon, if you allow me your highness I'll be glad to show you the rooms that will be part of your quarters." Dan Sae said.

"good, then we should go, I'm pretty curious to see what will be my future rooms" with a small firm movement of the hand the duke asked Dan Sae to show the path.

After a while they finally reached a few rooms with a private courtyard.

"your highness, this will be your bedroom and these are your private library and dining room... this is my room" Dan Sae was showing him each room when the duke asked

"It looks like only your room is ready... I think that I will have to remain by the dutch company until all this rooms will be ready to accomodate me and my butler"

"well... actually the queen ordered that you remain in the palace from this night on, tomorrow afternoon your rooms will be ready but for tonight... we will share the same bedroom" Dan Sae probably didn't understand the duke's feelings and even less how awkward this situation could be...

"I'm sorry but I don't think that this is a good idea Dan Sae'ssi" David added.

"I'll be good David calm down... I'm sure... that I will feel really comfortable, am I right Dan Sae'ssi?" Maurice said.

"Sure your highness" Dan Sae nodded and then added

"if you want to follow me I will prepare you for the meeting with her majesty"

"Sure... but I would drink something before, is it possible?" the duke asked to a servant

"here is your water your highness" the servant said as pouring the water in a glass.

"Thank you, David, did you take the portraits and the other gifts I told you?" the duke asked to his butler.

"yes yout highness" David answered back.

"Gifts?" Dan Sae asked to his lord.

"Yes, it would be really unpolite to come here without a gift for her majesty, don't you think so" the duke said.

"Oh... I got it your highness" Dan Sae nodded.

"Before you enter... remeber that her maj..." Dan Sae was about to give some advices to the duke but he got interrupted, an hand was on his right cheek.

"keep calm Dan Sae'ssi, do you really think that this the first time I meet a Queen?" the duke asked with his hand still on the cheek of his orderly.

"no... of course but..." Dan Sae moved a bit just to let the hand fall from his face

"By the way, I met kings and queens, it'll be fine... there's only one thing that makes me worried..." the duke said looking to the ground

"what is it your highness?" Dan Sae asked 

"that you moved away from me... if you don't like me you only have to say it" the duke said... visibly sad... or maybe he was just pretending to be sad only to look cute.

"no...it's only that... I'm afraid..." Dan Sae's answer was too vague but the duke decided to accept it.

finally David and a few servants arrived with all the gifts, they were ready to enter, there was everything: portraits, pictures, Greek and Roman statues, glasses, jewels and objects of every kind.

"It seems that you came finally, prepare, we are about to enter" the duke said to his butler, almost laughing because of how tired and angry David looked like.

"well... you're welcome your highness..." David was getting even madder each word he pronounced.

"what are ou waiting for? Do you want to announce us or do you want a written request" the duke asked to a servant... don't misunderstand... they were just behind the doors for a few minutes but he didn't announce them yet.

"oh sorry...  His Highness le Duc de Nemours, His Grace Dan Sae" as the servant said those words the doors opened from the inside... a whole banquet was ready for her majesty and her guests.
