The following day the letter general Yi Rim sent finally arrived. A soldier took him to Do Hyun's quarters, when he woke up he noticed it.

"goodmorning...is that a letter? there...on the table?" Do Hyun asked, his eyes almost closed

"yes your highness" the servant took it from the table and gave it to the noble.

"thank you...oh no..." Do hyun widened his eyes as he read the two words of the letter Tick Tock. 

Rapidly he got dressed and went with the servant to the prison of the palace, the letter still in his hands. When he arrived he asked for Dong Suk, he reached him and asked

"Dong suk...tell me this isn't what it looks like" 

"tick tock..." this was the answer, however Do Hyun continued

"Have you sent a letter to general Yi Rim?"

"tick tock" still the same answer

"please...listen to me now, he's ready to attack Hanseong right?" Do Hyun asked

"tick tock"

"ok...ok ok... calm down...you don't want to answer and I quite understand it but at least please...answer to this question... do you love me? Tell me this and everythi..." he got interrupted with the same answer

"tick tock"

That's enough... Do Hyun too a guard from his collar and whispered

"if he tries to escape...kill him..." the guard nodded. Do hyun asked for Dan Sae and he met him in his office.

"Dan Sae'ssi, if we don't act now it'll be too late...or probably it's already too late... according to the plan general Yi Rim is moving the whole army against Hanseong, if we don't start now...everything will be lost forever, tell it the duke, if we start now we can still have a possibility to win this war."  Dan Sae nodded

"well, well, well...this is pretty intersting" the duke was just behind the wall and listened to the whole conversation

"Your highness... may I..." Do hyun wanted to be polite but he got interrupted by the duke's speech

"Do hyun...the man who could be king but doesn't want it...there are way too much people like you, Yi Rim will give you the army you need to rule over Joseon so why don't you want it?"

"I...I..."

"Why are you reacting like this? Convince me!" The duke ordered

"How would you react...if you ask for only one thing...and you cannot have it?  The people who were supposed to love me...don't love me...even Dong Suk...you're the one who can save himself..." Do hyun said tearfully

"Well... what's your plan?" The duke said, he seemed genuinely convinced by the sincerity of Do Hyun's words.

"You have the Hwarangs, probably they can..."

"Ok...give me at least one day... you should pretend to be the man that Dong Suk and your father want you to be...ok?"

"Yes... your highness" Do hyun answered.

Their conversation got interrupted by a scream, it came from the courtyard and it was... Sooho. His scream was terrifying, like a thunder... like the cry of a mother... or of a wife...

"Banryu! No no no... don't leave me... please... please...Ah Ro help me...Banryu please... don't leave me...I'll be good...I'll be good "
