It almost feels like I'm betraying you by opening your journal, but I wanted this to be somewhere that you would see. I truly hope you do plan to keep this journal for a while, otherwise this might be a little pointless. Either way, I hope one day you'll be willing to show me what's inside of it.

The reason I'm writing in your journal is to thank you. As cheesy as it is, especially in the day of our wedding, I wanted to make sure just how amazing you are.

You've been there for me pretty much since we met at the park that one day. Since then, you've helped me not only adopt a dog, but helped me raise her as well, often calling her our child. You were there when I came out to my parents, even if they weren't all that accepting at the time, and even though they disliked you for a long time because of it. I'm happy to say they'll be here today and now support us, but once again, beyond my point. There's so much more I could write, but I'd rather tell you in person after the ceremony.

Before I end this letter of sorts, I'd like to remind you how much I love you. From your tired eyes in the morning when you just woke up to the way your eyes light up when I say I'm makin food. From the way you laugh at the smallest of things to the way you can be serious when you're needed to be. Johnny, I love everything about you, and I'm glad that I'm able to call you mine.
