Areum sat on the table with a smile on her lips, as her fiance was pulling her chair for her.

He sat opposite her soon after and smiled at her, that he was waiting for at this restaurant for around fifteen minutes.

"Sorry i came late. I invited you yet left you waiting." She apologized to him with a smile and he just shook his head in denial before saying that he didn't mind.

"I was surprised by your phone call, i admit, you made it sound so urgent." The man said to her as in his face immediately got displayed his worry over the words that she shared with him over the line.

"Well.. I don't know how to start this." Areum's face dropped the mannered happiness she was wearing a minute ago and that made her fiance feel even more uneasy.

It's not that they knew each other for long or had any strong feelings for each other. Her parents had just matched them together and they were both trying to make this work, however till now they had formed a good friendship, or so she would like to believe as what is she about to ask of him was something that could make her life hell if he wouldn't cooperate.

"What is it? You know you can tell me." He reassured her, grabbing her right hand and taking it in his to give her support.

"I am so sorry but.. I can't marry you." She told him, feeling the nervousness rise inside her as he went quiet.

"Is it because of your best friend.?" He asked taking her by surprise.

"How did you -"

"The hickeys on your neck after the engagement party were a little to obvious and i surely didn't create them." He smiled making Areum lower her head in shame.

"I didn't mean to do this to you. I am terribly sorry." She apologized not daring to meet her fiance's eyes again.

"Don't be. As far as I got to know you, i understand that you must have had feelings for him to reach there." He patted her hand that was still in his while saying so and she slowly lifted her head again.

"I have loved him for a long time but he only treated me as a friend and i played the role he wanted of me. But then he comes and says that he loves me that he always had and I.. Just don't know what to think about it." She confessed as for jungkook to return her feelings was like a dream come true to her but it still felt unfair to her. His love confession was somehow not enough.

" I have always chose him. Over my other friends, over my social circle, my family. And now he comes and asks of me to break up with you and wait for him cause he isn't ready. He loves me but he is not ready to be with me." The man listened to her silent and while doing so he started feeling sorry and at the same time admiring her for the decision she seemed she had taken.

" I am gonna pull off the engagement and I will take all responsibility. It's the least I can do. "He told her and her eyes softened, as tears started welling inside them.

" Won't you tell me that i am an idiot for waiting for him? Won't you tell me that i am being delusional, hoping that for once he will choose me above his name and come to me? "She asked him, question that she was telling herself however she still couldn't do otherwise. She loved him and was going to wait him, not because he was worth it or anything, but because she wanted to stay loyal to her heart and her feelings. She had decided to stay loyal to herself, till the day those feelings would change and she would find someone else, worthy of her love and attention.

"I will tell you that I respect you more than any woman I have ever met and that i wish for him to realize soon, what treasure he has waiting for him" He responded, handing her his handkerchief which Areum took before getting up and bowing to him deeply, as a sign of appreciation and respect she also had for him.

He was kind and nice, he was understanding and treated her good but he didn't love her and neither did she.

You were pacing up and down on your room after you had returned home from the afternoon shopping with Sira.

You had yet to tell Jimin about the Christmas dinner and you had to do it Now cause tomorrow was actually the dinner but it wasn't easy opening a conversation with him. Besides the last time you had seen him at the library he was behaving quite strangely.

You took a deep breath and unlocked your phone, sending it on messages and sending him a simple greeting text as a start however no reply came for around ten minutes, so you decided to text it all in one go.

He will just deny and i can move on with the night and all cool.

You thought and suddenly another thought followed that was thinking that it would be sad if he was to pass Christmas alone.

"Me and Sira decided to gather together for Christmas and she said that she would like having you over for dinner, if you have nothing better to do obviously."

"

Does that mean that she knows about our 'relationship'?" His reply froze the blood on your veins as you hadn't thought of it.

Omggg, could he probably get mad cause i told someone?!

"No! Yes.. Not exactly.. I didn't told anything about the slave thing, just that i needed a job and you happened to hire me as your maid." You lied to him, while you were already regretting texting him.

"That's good. Send me the address then and tell me what hour do you want me to come over."

You looked at the screen of your phone with wide eyes as your fingers texted him the exact words you were having in your mind.

"You are coming?!!"

"You invited me didn't you? Besides.. I have nothing better to do."

You fell backwards on your bed, kicking the air as you really weren't expecting for him to accept so easily to not say accept at all.

Okay. And now what?
