How long does one month seem? Or let's make it thirty days! Yeah, you guessed it right, in two days time, it's going to be a month since King and I took our vows. And in these two days, it's gonna be Jeff's birthday party back at home so King, Rob, Tia and I are flying home later today.

King had a meeting till later at midday so he asked me to pack his bag along with mine. I just finished my coffee so am heading upstairs to our room to do the packing. I unzipped two trolley bags, one mine and the other is King's. I packed only few necessities since both of us have outfits back in his closet at the Harrington villa.  I wanted to buy a gown for the party, from here in NYC, but Nora suggested that we go dress shopping tomorrow, the day before the party since we'll ba tired after the flight today. Nora would tag along with mom and Christine as I pull along Tia, Miranda and mom Mary. I made sure to pack two black Armani tuxedos for King knowing that he'll refuse to go suit shopping and would rather lay on bed all day!  I finished packing and zipped the bags as I called the workers to help me with the bags.

After freshening up, I out on a plain white tank top that had "kiss me"  written in pink at the chest with a black tight fitting long leggings  and white snickers. I brushed my hair and tied it into a high ponytail. I did a light makeup and I grabbed my phone and went downstairs. The head servant, Helen, was supervising the rest of her team in laying down the table since even Tia and Rob will be here for lunch and later in the afternoon we'll fly back home together.

I sat down on the air filled grey sofa, it's my favorite since it's got no definate shape and would keep on moving this way and that way according to how you position yourself on it. I surf the internet replying to texts in Instagram and following back some friends request. I saw a pic of King was posted few days ago taken from a party few days ago when his company hosted a party to celebrate their completed and successful deal. I missed him so much. I wish he was here right now, it's been six hours since he left at seven in the morning and he didn't even call today. He usually calls to check on me even if am in the office.

Thinking about him, I felt familiar hands wrapped themselves around my neck and lay on top of my chest. Knowing the owner of the hands, I lowered my head and kissed the hands on my chest as I closed my eyes and felt the masculine cologne that always come with him.  He turned around and pick me up bridal style and took me a four seater sofa. He sat down and made me sit on his laps looking at each other's face.

"Missed you baby!"

"Why didn't you call today?" I asked him and he didn't even answer as pulled me closer and took my lips in his and I giggled.

"That was highly unexpected baby! I asked you a question and you took my lips!" I hit his hard chest with my fists and he threw his head backwards as he laughed. The sight of him laughing like incredible.

"My wife, my boss! I always obey her orders as first statement. See what your tops demanded me to do!" Without even looking at it, since I knew what's written there, I hugged him tightly and placed my head on his chest and he stroke my hair playfully making me giggle now and again.

"Oh my God! What's with me and wrong timing? We came at the wrong time but since we are already here, it's better that the two of you pull apart! Come on darling get off him now!" Rob started pulling me away from King's laps as both King and I laugh uncontrollably at him.

When he finally got me off him, I pulled his ear and said, "don't you know you should close your eyes and shut your mouth when adults are busy working!" I wink at him and he gives me wide opened eyes.

"Heeeeeh! That never happens with the two of you! If we shut out mouths and close our eyes, you could go for hours and we have a flight guys!" He said and all of us broke into a laughter.

We finally greeted in a normal human like manner as I hugged both Rob and Tia and King hugged Rob and only shook hands with Tia. I know he's uncomfortable around her and she took seems restless around him nonetheless, they'll have to solve their own problems since I tried to do it for them as if it were to save my own life but it didn't work!  We had lunch together then we went to the terrace for sometime as dessert was served and after that, we left home for the airport and we flied in King's private jet.

After the jet was stable in the air, King and I went to the room at the back and as we passed Rob, he was shacking his head and trying to stop himself from laughing and King told him, "it's a long flight go get rest in the other room and stop staring at us we are not doing anything illegal!" I wink at him as I cling onto King's arm and he finally brakes into a laughter.

"It's a month you two are married and still behave like newly weds who are just going for their honeymoon! Now go before our eyes witness what they aren't supposed to see!" We all laugh and we walk in the room. After sometime, a hostess knocked and brought us some chocolate cookies and ice cream. We finished our desserts and asked for chilled water which was also brought. King did his work on his laptop as I answered a few emails from the office since I didn't even go today and I took the whole week off since I'm not sure when we'll be back.

I laid on the the bed with King on the other side. I looked at him and rolled over to him and placed my head on his shoulder and he wrapped an arm around me as he kissed the crown of my head and asked me if am ok and needed anything. When I assured him that I was fine, he went on with his work. As I laid on his shoulder, I let my mind go back to the one month I've been in New York City!

When we come from Paris, Rob was there at the airport as promised. He picked us up and he took us to our house. King's mansion! Then King showed me around our house and took me to our room. I found my outfits already arranged in the closet. After the seven hours flight from Paris, I freshened up and wore a night dress then went to bed. Later at night, King took me to Rob's mansion for dinner. That's when I met Tia, a young, well educated, caring, Loving, smart, intelligent and independent woman. She welcomed us with open arms and we felt " at home" in here presence.

Three days after our arrival in NYC, we were invited to a socialiate party and all four of us went. After the first week was gone, King informed me of his business trip to Turkey for four days. I was sad that he's leaving me behind but I still had business to handle in New York so it wasn't possible for me to go with him. So for each of those four days, Tia came to pick me up after work and we would go home together. Rob would join us and we would spend the evening and had dinner together. Then Rob would drop me off at our mansion. King also called thrice a day and at night we would talk till I slept.

After a week, he come back and I went to pick him up from the airport and drive to the mansion. He told me about his business there and all the cuisines he tasted in Turkey. He bought me beautiful white see through midi dress that had slits on both sides. There were embroidery of large roses on each side of the dress and it had a deep V on the chest that showed more cleavage. He told me to wear it for him one day, but thinking of it, I haven't dressed up in that but am sure I did pack it in my luggage.

At the office, I was shown my office by the supervisor. It was a magnificent and well decorated room with all the specifications I had made. There was already a pile of files on my vast glass table that was facing a glass wall where you could see the skyscrapers of New York City. In no time I got to work, calling in the specific people I wanted details from and then there was a staff meeting held where my assistant introduced me and informed them that am the current boss. I told them all the things I would want from them and my rules and regulations. For this month's time, I have been doing well, I completed some old ongoing constructions, made sure all pending files are completed and closed, signed up for new projects with big companies. Dad had even call to congratulate me on a job well done in both Paris and New York branches!

On weekends we went to the beach or sometimes we went to one of King's pubs. We had fun and them we would call a driver and crush at one of the two mansions. At some day, Tia and I went shopping for household items then we were picked up by our respective husbands. I still wonder why the first time I heard about her, when I first met Rob before my wedding, he said that Tia was a giving him problems! I think I still have to get to her wrong side to see that. Then two days ago, King informed me that he'll have another business trip to Brazil but he doesn't have full details but once it's scheduled he would inform me. I hate staying away from him but I know I'll have to get used to it since we both work and I know the importance of work.

"Welcome home my kids!" Auntie Mary welcomed us at her house. When we landed at the airport, there was a driver waiting for us and he led us to Harrington villa. My heart was at joy for coming back home for the first time after moving to New York. I held unto King's arm tightly as I felt inner peace and joy. He understood what I was going through so without a word, he wrapped one arm around my shoulder and pulled me closer. We arrived at home and found auntie Mary waiting for us by the entrance door.

"Come dear. Come give me a hug I've really missed you my lovely girl!" She stretched her hands and King let me free from his grip around my waist and I literally run into her arms. She gave me a bear hug that was emotional and loving.

"So I don't get anything! See this, it's not fair at all! Tamera get's everything that was mine!" King started complaining.

"Oh my little boy! Tamera is your wife so whatever belongs to you also belongs to her and the same thing with her, whatever belongs to her, belongs to you. Now come join us!" He dragged himself and his mom took him too in the hug and I elbowed him in his ribs, lightly, since I can't have a sick King by my side, and he laughed at me. We both kissed his mom on the cheek and he kissed on the cheek also and his mom hit his head and told him, "hey boy! Somethings are done in the proximity of your bedroom!" 

"Oh! Am glad there are still people who can worn the two of them! We had to wear wooden glasses so that we couldn't see what they did! Ooh long live auntie!" The ever melodramatic Rob. He come forward and hugged aunt Mary and then kissed her cheek. Auntie pulled Tia into a hug and said, "am glad he brought you again. How've you been Tia? Yes dear. You'll enjoy yourself here with my girls, Tamera and Miranda! Ok now come in kiddos!" The servants started unloading the car and took our bags to our respective room after showing them which bags are ours and which are Rob's and Tia's.

As we sat down at the lounge room, with King by my side and Tia besides Rob on the other sofa, we heard some noise of someone shouting, but it was a joyous one. Coming into view, it was Miranda! "Hey cupcake!" I stood up and hugged her as I said, "how are you doing pumpkin? You know I've missed you so much? Video calls can't do it you know!"

"Cupcake, pumpkin!? Where's that from? Mum did you know about these "food like people"!" King asked making us pull away and Miranda walked over to his side and sat on the hand rest of the sofa as she encircle King's shoulders.

"I'll advise you to stay away from my girls King! Girls are very good at conspiracy and I won't think twice before helping them out!" His mom defended us as Miranda and I laugh at him and stick out tongues out.

"This is not fair. One of you must be on my side! Baby, you?" He gave me puppy eyes and I laughed at his face.

Jeff and uncle joined us too. Uncle was pleased that we come sometime before the party and said we'll have a good family time. "Dear how's business taking you in New York?"

"Pretty good! I don't have to worry when I have your blood by my side, I'll conquer anything with his guide! I'm glad I started off well, I even got a project with....!" I didn't even finish talking when Rob cut me off, "hey no business now!" We nodded our heads as uncle asked about Tia since it's been long since Rob brought her with him. Uncle told Tia to ask Rob to bring her often.

Jeff was also on cloud nine that his family made it to his party. He was sitting next to me on the hand rest just like Miranda who was on King's side. I pulled out my phone from my Gucci hand bag and showed Jeff the picture of places I've been to in Paris and also New York! He would shout every now and then like a kid despite being a teenager!

"Dad you gotta take us to Paris this year's Christmas! See how cool it is, whoa!" He suggested as he went through the pics.

"That's enough now! You've been shouting like a psycho bro! There's time before Christmas so we'll discuss later on where we are going. Now give Tamera her phone!" King scolded his younger bro and I held his hand to calm him down, he doesn't have to work himself up for just pics on the phone. He held my hand in his as he smiled.

Jeff went through some more photos and the next thing I heard was, "eeewww! Look at the two of them!" Then he flip the phone on my lap the screen facing downwards. I picked the phone in my hands and looked at the screen. Both King and Tamera had their eyes in the screen as Rob had his neck stretched out to see what's happening. It was a picture of King and I kissing in a swimming pool back in Paris. I was in only but a bikini and King was in pants. One of the servants, whom King said was loyal, had taken this photo. King tighten his grip around my waist and he wore a smirk on his face. Miranda was holding back a laugh and pretended that she didn't see anything.

"Didn't I tell you to give back the phone Jeff! I will hit that head of yours boy!" King scolded him again.

"The two of you are dangerous in this house with kids! I doubt if you should be allowed in here!" Rob got another chance to blurb!

King looked down at me and our faces were only inches apart, I could feel his nose on my neck and he said, "the rooms are soundproof!" What just happened? Wait was that what King said? All of us chuckled and King laughed his heart out. Then he excused us and we went to our room, I catch a glimpse of Rob's stare as he shook his head and I laughed at that.

We went to our room and we freshened up. I put on my white baby doll night dress that had black lace on each side running from my chest to my mid thighs. I went to bed and waited for King, he also dressed up in his white cotton shorts and hopped on his side. He yawned and pulled me closer to him with my back on his front and my head bellow his chin and his hands around my tummy.

"Baby did you bring along my suits or I'll have to go shopping?!"

I giggled and turned around to face him, " they are already in the closet baby!"

"Aaaah! You are the best! I want to stay in bed the whole of tomorrow! I'll wake up during Jeff's party!"

"Hmm! That's being lazy! You better get up and go help around with the preparation, go talk to dad and mom, ask Miranda and Jeff how are they doing with studies, go see my dad, he's been asking for you! I better not come in here and find you snoring!"

"I talked to dad yesterday before leaving New York, but I'll definitely meet him when we are around. I want to go to Andrew Villa with you. I took away it's last daughter so I better take her to visit before I get an earful. And for the rest of my family, I've already met them downstairs and I'll meet them at the party, that's ok! But ad for my beautiful and stubborn wife," he pulled me on top of him and I kept my hands on his chest so that I could raise my head and see his face as I giggled, "I have a surprise for you!"

I leaned down to him and started moving my nose on his nose making both of us laugh and said, "what's that?" I raised my eyebrows waiting for an answer.

"No no no! Didn't you hear, it's a surprise baby! Now I better get you sleeping, bathe you in the morning, feed you breakfast then send you with mom to go dress shopping, I need to sleep all day!"

I giggled as I lowered my head down and closed my eyes as I took his lips in mine. He pulled me much closer than I am already and move his hands to my face each holding each cheek. It was a sweet and passionate kiss, a slow one that each of us enjoyed it rather than fighting for dominance. He inserted his tongue and played with mine and went on sucking my lips starting with the upper one and then the lower one. We pulled away to catch our breathes I placed my forehead on his forehead.

"Good night baby!" He said and I said my good night.  With my forehead on his, our noses together and our lips slightly touching. I stretched mine and touched his to give him a peck.

"If this goes on, we won't sleep baby!" He said as he laughed.

"It's ok for me to stay awake, for you only baby!" I said as I felt his hands on my back and he swiftly put me on the bed besides him, facing him. I placed my leg on his and his hands around my waist and we cuddled like that till we slept.....
