Part 4: Sad
A woman screamed as a knife was striking her body again and again and again. It would disturb a normal person, but to Jeff the Killer it was music to his ears. It was his job to kill after all and it helped settle his ongoing bloodlust for at least a while. Besides he had to report to his boss about the recent total of bodies that he collected since she would be interested in hearing about any failures. Well, boss would be the correct term if he didn't disobey her every chance that he gets.
"Let's see who will be my latest target now?" He said with a savage grin on his face as he was ready to kill someone again. He would never be satisfied until he gets his next victim and drains the life from their eyes. He loved seeing that plus the sight of blood slowly pouring out of the numerous wounds he gave them.
Jack wished that he could kill more, but if he had to return back home. Plus he was sure that one of the others would drag him back if he even tried to go rouge once again. So with a heavy heart...he left his latest victim and started his journey back to the mansion. It would take several days, but he was sure that Slenderwoman would be delighted with his preformance.
As this was going on, a six year old girl was curled on her bed staring at a large portrait of herself. It used to serve as a symbol for her beauty, but now...it served as cold reminder of the way things used to be. She had a good life with her parents and sister, but now it was all ripped away due to some unknown knifed attacker.
"Sigh....I wonder if the others are having a better time processing this." The girl said as she slipped out of her bed and walked out. It was still dark and Lori was going to move them out soon so the investigators could do their job. She made sure not to disturb anything and slowly crept downstairs where she spotted some of her other sisters crying in the living room.
"Hey guys." She told them making some look up.
"H...Hey Lola." Lola's sister said as she tried to appear strong for her sister. It wasn't working, but she decided that it was better for her to ignore the attempt.
"Are you okay?" Lola said.
"Yeah. I'm fine, but..." Her sister continued as she broke down in sobs right in front of her. At this point, Lola decided to go into the kitchen and grab some water to help her sister calm down. Strangely, she felt like she was forgetting something, but quickly shook that off. Everyone that she loved was inside and there was no way that she would forget any of them.
"Here we go." Lola said as she grabbed the water bottle and walked out. She never noticed the ajar door right beside or the lack of a certain white haired boy in the backyard. However, that didn't mean that Lucy didn't notice. She was one of the few people who knew that Lincoln was missing and felt anger that the rest forgot about him like yesterday's trash.
Just you wait. Once I inform the others, we will seek vengeance on all of you for doing this to him.
She thought as she quickly walked away from the others and headed upstairs. She couldn't bare to hear the rest of her sister's speak since they were surely overcome with emotion for their so called parents and sister. She didn't see them as anything, but birth givers and betrayers since they treated Lincoln so badly.
It was still fresh in her mind seeing how the rest threw him away and locked him out of the house. The sight made her and Leni sick while the rest didn't care...minus Lily who got a pass due to her age. They couldn't help him in front of their family since she knew how much they loved to torture him.
The only good thing was that she reported everything to her club members and made sure to keep a close eye on them all. Sighing...Lucy was cut from her thoughts of the past when a hand was felt on her shoulder. She didn't need to turn around to know that it was Leni's.
"Remember the owl comes at nine." Leni said as slowly took her hand off of her shoulder and walked away. Soon, it'll be time for them to visit their fellow members and tell them the "awful" news. However...That news may give them an opportunity to strike against these betrayers.
Look out betrayers...Soon your time will come.
Lucy thought at the moment before entering her room and enjoyed the peace and silence that came with Lynn being gone. This was the start of something great and soon...none of the others will have to live their lives on the mortal plain.
Hope you enjoyed the chapter...Bye 👋
