It's a monday afternoon in Nova Studios as producer Y/N L/N is at his desk, getting everything ready for todays' work. He has the bass player for one of the hottest new bands coming in and is excited to record the parts for a new single. Y/N has just tested everything to get it in working order when the door opens and the person in question walks in:

Victoria De Angelis, the bass player of Måneskin, stands a few feet away from him, smiling.

Y/N:" Good morning, Victoria."

Victoria:" Morning, Y/N. The guy at the front desk was nice enough to show ne where to go."

Y/N:" Great to hear. He's a cool dude. So...you and your band are in for a new single, right?"

Victoria:" Yup! My bass is tuned up and ready to go."

Y/N:" Great to hear. My DAW and mixing console are also ready. I'm sure this will be fun."

Victoria giggled at the enthusiasm Y/N shows right from the start as she takes out her bass and stands in front of him. She plugs in directly and Y/N nods with a thumbs up, so the recording session could start. Both of them are pros at what they do, Victoria has heard a lot about Y/N from other musicians and a few magazines that interviewed him, so she trusts in his knowledge and skills to make this song the best it can be. Y/N is focussed on the finer details, watching with a keen eye as he observes Victorias' playing.

She definitly has the groove and smoothness to her playing and she seems to really enjoy it, which shows that her love for the music and the business is strong. Y/N appreciates that a lot because he's in a similar vein, taking pride in every little thing he does. He's not in it for money, he's in it to give bands the best result ever. It's a lot of learning along with trial and error to get exactly what bands are looking for, but he knows he can trust his experience. When coming to the bridge of the song, he sees Victoria slowing down a bit.

Victoria:" Sorry, just need a minute."

Y/N:" It's okay. Relax, take a deep breath. We got enough time."

Victoria:" Thanks. Y'know, you're the most relaxed producer I ever worked with."

Y/N:" Well, I believe a chill work environment is best to get a top result. I don't like stressing and pushing people unneccessarily. I'd rather have it when everyone takes it at their own pace."

Victoria:" Interesting. What about deadlines?"

Y/N:" Don't worry about those. I get everything ready in time."

Victoria:" Someone's confident."

Y/N:" I just know my workflow the best."

That makes both of them share a short laugh before Victoria wants to get back to business. She shakes out her arms for a moment before the two continue where they left off.

3 different takes have been recorded in the time the two spent together. After the final note is done, Victoria sits down again, letting out a sigh. She is a little exhausted after performing the same thing, but she trusts Y/N to do whatever he can to piece the best parts together.

Y/N:" Okay, the recording is done. Leave the producing to me."

Victoria:" I obviously will. You know way more about this than I do."

Y/N:" Believe me, even I don't know everything. The world of gear and plug-ins is constantly changing."

Victoria:" Oh yeah, it definitly is."

She smiles softly, but decides to take off her pants because she's sweating from moving so much and from the heat in the room. Y/N raised an eyebrow at that, looking at her.

Victoria:" What?"

Y/N:" Did you get that hot while playing?"

Victoria:" Yeah, it's hard keeping the groove and having fun at the same time. I hope yiu don't mind."

Y/N:" I don't. I was just caught off guard."

Victoria:" This is nothing. You should see the outfits I perform in every now and then."

Y/N:" I saw a few gigs and I know your outfits are a bit...excentric to say the least."

Victoria:" That's probably the nicest way of saying I'm half naked on stage haha."

Y/N:" Don't get me wrong, you are a very attractive woman. And you all have fans for a reason. Hell, your outfits bring back some of the old punk attitude in my opinion."

Victoria:" That's the goal. And it helps to keep cool during summer."

Y/N:" Aren't you worried about some creeps?"

Victoria:" Oh I am, but security has that under control. They throw out anyone who even tries to be a perv or a jerk."

Y/N:" Fortunately I'm not like that."

Victoria:" True hahaha. You seem really down to earth and well behaved. I like that."

Y/N chuckles and sends a wink over to Victoria before they both take a sip of their drinks. This session has been a lot of fun and Victoria is happy that she got to know Y/N a bit better. She was worried that he'd be a stuck up, overly strict kind of guy, but today showed her the exact opposite. She smiles as she puts her bass back into its case while Y/N takes notes of what he needs to do with the bass tracks.

Victoria:" We'll stay in contact from here on out, right?"

Y/N:" Definitly. You got the studios' number, my e-mail and everything else you need. If I'm not answering right away, Chase at the front desk will respond."

Victoria:" Alright, sounds good. I'm looking forward to the final product."

Y/N:" So am I. Oh, and put the pants back on. I don't want people thinking we did gosh-knows-what in here."

Victoria giggles again, but agrees as she puts her pants back on. She likes the funny back and forth with him, appreciating the vibes he gives off thus far. The two then hug and say goodbye to each other with Victoria leaving the studio and Y/N sitting back at his desk and getting ready to work on the tracks.
