Roy's Point of View

"Girl's! Can you guys please come downstairs?!" I call up the stairs to them. As Adore and Courtney come down me and Shane meet them in the living room. "What's up daddy?" Courtney asks and I will never get tired of being called that. "We have something very important to tell the both of you guys." Shane says as he takes a hold of my hand and I give it a gentle squeeze before continuing. "I'm pregnant!" Shane says and butterflies erupt through my stomach just as they had when he first told me and I took him to the Doctor to get it confirmed. "Oh my gosh! For real? Like for real, for real?!" Adore says looking wide eyed and smiling ear to ear while Courtney sat there next to Adore giggling her head off. "Ooh! Do you know if it's a girl or a boy yet?!" Courtney asks and Shane nods. "It's a boy! His name will be Roy Michael Haylock Jr." I tell them a contagious smile spreading across my face and soon everybody else was smiling too. We decided to go out and shop for baby things since we already have a room we could use as a nursery at the house. We end up buying alot of cute baby clothes and a Bianca Del Rio onesie and Caught In The Act onesie from the Sunset Blvd. We get home and Shane goes to take a nap in our room while me and the girls start painting the room. "Daddy I love this paint color!" Courtney compliments me. "Yeah dad, the color is so pretty! The baby is going to love it!" Adore says. I smile thinking of all of my kids together. The girls helping me and Shane out with the baby when it arrives. I know that they will be perfect big sisters to little Roy Jr. and I just can't wait to see them all together. We eventually finish the room and Shane wakes up shortly after we've all bathed and started dinner. "How did painting the nursery go you guys?" Shane asks and we all reply with "fine" and continue on with making dinner. We eat dinner and Shane goes to take a shower as me and the girls research male pregnancy. And appearantly he is risking his life by having this baby. We also found out the male pregnancy usually lasts about six moths before the baby arrives so we have to be ready when that time comes. We will be. Because if I'm anything it's ready on a daily day to day life basis.
