Chap.5
"Merida Sea!" (Damn) Sebastian shouted, throwing his hands up in frustration.
"Jesucristo (Jesus Christ) Seb! What is it?" Val said taking an earbud out and looking at her older brother upside down, hair spilling to the floor.
"I got put into Gryffindor!" He exclaimed showing her his laptop. The blood was starting to rush to her head, but Val still raised an eyebrow.
"So?"
"What do you mean so? I'm obviously a Ravenpuff!"
"So? I'm a Slytherpuff you don't see me crying."
"Yeah but I can see you slowly starting to lose oxygen. Sit up."
Rolling her eyes, Valentina obeyed, sighing when she could breathe correctly.

I sighed. Dexter hasn't been in school since a Wednesday. Jasmine told me this happened every copal of months and not to worry about it, but still.
"Deberes!" (Homework) Mom yelled from upstairs.
"Ya listo!" (Already done) Val and I yelled together.
"Más vale que sea!" (It better be)
"What do you think about Jasmine?" Val asked me while I was trying to retake the Pottermore quiz. I paused and looked up at her from my seat on the floor, confused.
"What? You've meet Jasmine?" I asked. Val nodded, chestnut heir bobbing.
"Yeah, she's in my grade."
"What the heck, how? She's in most of my classes."
"Ever heard of accelerated classes?"
"That's a thing?"
"Apparently. Anyways, what do you think of her?" I shrugged.
"I mean, she's not a total butthole. Why?"
"No reason." She responded quickly.

Dexter walked to school, head low, trying to blend in with the background. Unfortunately, his blond hair stuck out like a sore thumb. He cursed when his name was called, but immediately brightened when he looked up to see who called him.

"Hey," Jasmine wheezed out when she was beside me. She leaned over on her knees, trying to catch her breath. "Sorry, I am not in shape. The farthest running distance I do is my fridge from my room." She said still panting. I smiled at her excuse.
"Yeah, yeah whatever. Just hurry before someone mistakes you for a dog." Jasmine slowly rose up and gave me the evil eye before scoffing and walking past me.
"I think that's racist." She said hands busy braiding her dark hair. I speed walked to match her pase and made a face.
"No it's not."
"I think it is." She replied, lightly hitting my shoulder with hers. I smiled without replying.
"Dexter..." I looked at her, slightly alarmed at the tone of her voice.
"Yeah?" I answered.
"You weren't here for 3 days.... Did something happen?" I opened my mouth and quickly closed it.
"No. Sorry, school was annoying me so I stayed home and watched Clueless." As expected, she gasped loudly.
"You watched Clueless without me?! I thought we were friends!" I laughed, happy for the change in subject.
"It was in the middle of the day!"
"Your point is?"
"Isn't education important in your family?"
"So are hijabs but you don't see me wearing that."
"Nice comeback."
"I do try."
