Your Airbus. 7:40

You and Bianca load your weapons as the airbus makes its way to team CFVY, Ike and Star's location. You had handed your scroll to the pilot so he can keep track of Ike's position. You look at Bianca and stand up.

(Y/n): You tell Ironwood about the situation?

Bianca looks up at you and stands up with you. You both grab onto the handles just above the door of the airbus.

Bianca: Yep. He has his airships launching gunships to assist.

You raise a brow.

(Y/n): Gunships?

Bianca smirks and nods. You just pull her close by her hip.

(Y/n): Oum I love you.

You say and she giggles and kisses you.

Bianca: I know.

Bianca then punches the release on the door causing it to open.

Jaune: Seriously..?

You look at JNPR who tagged along after spotting you two at the helipad awaiting the airbus.

(Y/n): If it makes you feel better I'm sure Pyrrha's up for a good luck kiss.

You tease to which Pyrrha blushes hard while Jaune looks somewhat offended.

Jaune: Hey! She's just my bestie!

Bianca gives him a really look before taking out her weapon and aiming down at the forest.

Bianca: After the dance last night are you so sure?

You turn to look out towards the forest as well, only to see three giant snake heads moving forward past the trees.

(Y/n): Oh shit, Ike wasn't joking.

Bianca keeps her scope steady on the Hydra Grimm then looks towards what it's running after.

Bianca: I see them!

You look at Bianca and then back down at the Hydra. You give a nod and head to the pilot and point your thumb down.

(Y/n): Take us down! Towards the giant Grimm!

You shouted as the pilot only nods in response and flies towards the Hydra's location. You pull out both your Vulcan's as Bianca aims at the hydra mutant. The Hydra gets close to the group on the ground with all three of its heads opening their mouths. Fortunately, you and Bianca manage to grab its attention as several bullets rain on its back. It roars as Ike looks up at the airbus.

Ike: They're not going to be able to land....

Coco comes next to him.

Coco: How do we get up there then?!

Ike thinks before seeing Pyrrha look down with the rest of JNPR.

Ike: Okay. Game plan time.

Ike places Star down and cups his hands together while crouching.

Ike: Okay, bear with me here. I'm going to boost all of you up.

The leader of CFVY and her team members look at him as if he was crazy.

Coco: How is that gonna help?!

Ike points up at the airbus.

Ike: Pyrrha is on that airbus! You're going to need to hold onto your weapons very tightly. When you reach the height of the airbus, yell out for Pyrrha. I'm...ninety-nine point nine percent sure she'll figure it out from there.

The four beacon students look unsure until Ike continues on.

Ike: It's this plan or get eaten by that abomination!

Ike warned as they all look to see the Hydra getting hammered by Nora's grenade launcher, slowing its movements.

Coco takes a deep breath and stands back a few metres. Ike gets ready and with a nod, Coco runs at him before jumping into Ike's cupped hands as he then launches her up.

With you, you stop firing as you see something come towards you. You see none other than Coco float in the air in front of you.

Coco: PYRRHA!

Coco screams, the red haired spartan gasps and takes notice of Coco hanging tightly onto her bag, prompting her to immediately pulls Coco in with her semblance.

As the gap closes between Coco and the airbus, you grab her and pull her in to safety.

(Y/n): How in the- wait! Never mind, this has Ike written all over it doesn't it.

Coco simply nods which causes you to groan and let out a small chuckle.

(Y/n): Okay! Pyrrha, we have extraction duty.

Pyrrha smiles and gives a nod as Nora loads up her weapon.

Nora: I only packed enough for two more barrages!

You nod and message Ike to hurry up.

Ike receives the message which causes him to chuckle to himself.

Ike: Either a message saying what was I thinking or they liked the plan so much that they want us to get a move on. Okay! Fox you're next!

Fox looks towards Ike's position and runs at the blond boy. He jumps into Ike's cupped hands then, like Coco, was launched up to the airbus and safely collected by Pyrrha and yourself.

Ike: Okay big guy, you next.

Ike says as Yatsuhashi looks at Ike and runs to him and jumps into his cupped hands before getting launched up too.

Ike: Okay Velvet! Let's go!

Velvet watched in both fear and astonishment as the pink smoke clouds from Nora's grenades did little to nothing to the mutated Grimm. She snaps a picture of it.

Ike: Velvet!

Ike says in disbelief. Velvet quickly turns to Ike and runs at him.

Ike: Jesus, anything for clout these days...

Ike says as he launches Velvet into the air then grabs Star. The Hydra steps forward causing Ike to perk up before running and jumping up after Velvet with Star over his shoulder.

(Y/n): Okay, here comes Velvet!

You warn Pyrrha who gets ready to pull the bunny girl from CFVY. The pilot looks back for a second before looking back in front of the airbus and seeing a tree get launched right at them.

Pilot: Holy shit!

The pilot quickly pulls to the side. Everyone in the airbus gasps as Ren holds Pyrrha back while Bianca and yourself grab onto Nora to stop her from falling out. Velvet watches in horror as the airbus pulls back, her salvation becoming absent. She begins to fall back and scream. Ike passes her and looks back.

Ike: Velvet!

Coco, gets up off her seat and looks down from the door as the airbus steadies.

Coco: Bun Bun!

She shouts out to her teammate as the Hydra opens its mouths as the bunny faunas falls towards the sharp jaws of the mutant Grimm.

....

8:00 am

Beep! Beep! Beep!

Time seemed to slowdown as Star stirs and opens his eyes. The first thing he focuses on is Velvet before pushing off Ike, towards her.

Velvet looks down at the Hydra before looking back up and seeing the blinding sunshine. Eventually a shadow comes towards her at high speed with their hand outstretched and reaching for her. She reaches out and sees that it is Star with a determined look plastered on his face. She is halfway in the jaws of the beast with Star just inches from her. He grabs her hand finally but they are already in the throat of the beast as its jaws snap shut.

Ike: Star!

Coco covers her mouth while you look down in shock.

Ike flies towards the Hydra with his yellow flames surrounding his body.

Suddenly, the Hydra head that swallowed both Star and Velvet gags. Then to Ike's surprise, its head comes off as Star bursts out of its neck with his left hand holding onto Velvet who is clinging onto him while in his right hand was his saber sword. The two remaining heads pursued the two as they slid down its back. Star dismisses his saber and summons his desert eagle in its place before shooting its heads which proves to be quite effective as the heads immediately explode into pieces. Star's smirk is immediately replaced by slight shock as the heads begin to grow back with an extra three heads.

Star: Oops.

He looks at Velvet who is shaken.

Star: In my defense I just woke up.

The Hydra hisses and is about to strike the two until they hear a whistle and turn to see Ike charging at them like a fireball. His flames burn brighter until his entire body in developed in them as he turns into his Phoenix form and tackles the Hydra.

Star and Velvet gasp as the monochrome clothe wearing boy holds onto the bunny faunas tightly.

Star: Hold on tightly Velvet! My brother can take it from here!

Velvet just buries her face into his neck as her pulls her in close before running along the Hydra's back. Velvet looks back and sees that despite the Hydra getting up on its hind legs, Star is still running along its back.

Velvet: Star, how are you-

Star: Thank my genes!

Star shouts as he then launches himself off the Hydra after reaching the middle head top.

Velvet looks in surprise as Star's clothes glow before a white wing sprouts from the right side of his back as he then glides to the ship.

Meanwhile on the airbus, you and Bianca make way as Star lands in the airbus and puts Velvet down. Velvet runs to her team as they group hug while Star's angel wing returns back to its translucent form under Star's sleeveless hoodie.

(Y/n): Star, how did you do that?

Star looks at you.

Star: What? You thought the wings on my back were just for looks?

He questions. You just nod thinking that it was obvious.

Star: Ugh. We have bigger problems, like-Tree!

Star shouts in panic as the pilot looks to see a tree getting thrown at the airbus again.

Jaune: Okay seriously! Who is throwing trees!

Star looks around before spotting a Cerberus Grimm cut down a street then stand on its hind legs ready to throw it.

Star: Found the problem! Ike and I got this, get back to beacon!

Star says before falling backwards and out of the airbus.

(Y/n): Star, wait! Jasper says to stay together!

You yell out but already see him spread his angel wings again and fly towards the Cerberus Grimm.

(Y/n): Oh great...

Bianca puts a hand on your shoulder and smiles.

Bianca: Hey don't worry they'll be fine.

She says as the sound of loud engines are heard in the distance. Suddenly four Atlassian gunships fly past the airbus and towards the Hydra which Ike was poking with his beak.

???: Eagle, Falcon and Hawk. Avoid friendly fire on Phoenix while turning this reptile into luggage.

Hawk: Yes sir!

The gunships communicate. Meanwhile, the Cerberus Grimm on the ground spots the gunships and gets ready to throw the tree in its claws. Unfortunately for it, the tree and its arms are torn apart by a black and white streak. It howls in pain as Star is crouched behind it with his saber swords drawn. His left sword in a reverse grip while his right sword is normal.

Star: Bad dog.

The Cerberus roars at Star and charges at him with its heads dragging along the floor but its jaws open wide. Star jumps over the Cerberus and throws his swords into the left and right head of the beast, leaving the middle head to howl in pain. Star then proceeds to kick off a tree and dive kick the Cerberus in the back, breaking its spine. The middle head lets out a yelp as Star then stomps on its neck then pulls out the saber lodged in its right head and slice the middle head off.

The body begins to disappear into black particles, prompting Star to hop off the decaying body before looking around as his sabers are summoned back into his hands.

Star: ...Where are you...I know you're watching us...

His eyes dart around but stop as Ike let out a screech. Star looks to see several mutated Nevermores now pecking at Ike and attacking the gunships.

Star: Ike!

Star gets a running start before jumping in the air and flying with his angel wing again. Ike manages to fend off the Nachtkrapp by turning his flames up causing them to change colour from yellow to purple.

You look down at the events unfolding and narrow your eyes.

Coco: Wow, they are kicking ass.

Coco chimes in as she watches Star go through a Nachtkrapp mutant Grimm with both his saber swords drawn.

(Y/n): Yeah...They are...

Bianca notices your uncertainty and comes close to you.

Bianca: You okay?

You look at her for a second before turning back to the carnage below.

(Y/n): Where's the big boss...?

You ask. Bianca raises a brow before watching the carnage below too. She sees Ike dig his talons into the Hydra Grimm and fly up with it. Star follows after as Ike then drops the Hydra prompting Star to let out a battle cry and pierce though its stomach.

Black blood paints the forest below before the forest is destroyed due to the Hydra making impact with the ground.

The Hydra tries to spin back onto its belly, eager to keep on fighting. Fortunately, Ike was onto it and slammed it back into the ground before blowing his purple flames all over it, disintegrating the mutant Grimm. Star floats above, covered in black blood that starts to disappear into nothing as the Hydra below lets out one last screech before turning to ash.

Bianca: Damn. Glad they're on our side. If I was Nightmare, I'd hide back in my little hole if I saw all that.

Bianca states in which you agree with her.

(Y/n): Yeah, Alright, just the mutant Nevermores then they'll meet us back at beacon.

Pilot: GENERAL DO YOU COPY!

The pilot suddenly shouted which gets everyone's attention.

Ren: What's he yelling about...?

You shrug and go to the cockpit.

Pilot: I REPEAT, GENERAL IRONWOOD, DO YOU COPY.

You wince a little from his tone and touch his shoulder. He flinches and looks at you.

(Y/n): What is it? Why are you screaming?

The pilot points out the window.

Pilot: That!

You go to look and what you see causes you to go wide eyed.

Meanwhile, with Star, Ike and the Atlasian gun ships. Star watches the gunships make an immediate retreat. At least, that's what Star thought they were doing. As he watches them fly, he sees something moving fast in the distance.

Star: What is...th-Oh my god! Ike!

Star shouts getting the purple Phoenix's attention. Ike looks towards where Star was pointing. He screeches and immediately begins to fly after the gunships with Star close behind.

Back with you, you go to Coco and lift her up.

(Y/n): Can you use your weapon?!

You ask her. She looks at you confused until desperation and panic set in as you shake her.

(Y/n): Can you?!

Coco nods.

Coco: I can just let me go!

She says as she shoves you away.

Coco: Jeez. What the hells wrong with you?!

You beckon her over to the open door and point down at the trees.

(Y/n): That!

Coco looks down with everyone else. Their eyes go wide as they see another Hydra Grimm being followed by several Nachtkrapp, two Cerberus and a giant two legged creature with small arms and bone covering its entire body.

And their target...?
