The sight of the approaching Grimm sends a wave of panic through the airbus. The teams exchange worried glances, realizing the imminent danger that awaits Vale. Coco grips her weapon tightly, ready to fight.

Coco: We need to do something. We can't just sit here and watch!

You nod in agreement, feeling a surge of determination.

(Y/n): You're right, Coco. Bianca, can you contact Beacon and inform them about the incoming Grimm?

Bianca quickly takes out her scroll and starts relaying the information to Beacon Academy. Meanwhile, the team members gather near the open door. You tell the pilot to head inside the city and to stay in front of the wall to prepare on confronting the mutant Grimm head-on.

You hear a thud on the wing and turn to see Star grab onto the side of the airbus then launch himself forward while Ike gives chase.

Star: We need to hurry!

His shout filled with determination.

(Y/n): Full speed!

The pilot uses the airbuses afterburners to try to get ahead of the mutant Grimm.

As the Grimm approach the wall, one of the Cerberus grimm at the front takes notice of the giant flaming bird and approaching aircraft. It growls before stopping and jumping onto the back of one of the hydra's backs.

It then slices the head off the hydra causing the mutant Grimm to fall to the ground.

You see this and call it out to everyone.

(Y/n): Wait! The Cerberus Grimm ripped off one of the Hydra's heads.

Bianca looks down at the scene as does everyone else. The next thing that happens causes almost everyone to gasp as the Cerberus gets a running start on its hind legs before tossing the Hydra's head over the wall and into the city.

The Hydra's head crashes into a building, causing a loud explosion and sending debris flying in all directions. Panic erupts among the citizens of Vale as they scramble to find shelter as the sirens go off, warning citizens of a Grimm attack.

The teams, Star and Ike look at the Grimm to see the other Cerberus follow suite and rip hydra heads off and throw them into the city.

Jasper: (Y/n)! We need to stop that Cerberus before it causes more damage!

You nod to yourself and pull out your Vulcans.

Unknown to the teams, the heads that were thrown into Vale begin to leak back liquid before eventually solidifying into limbs and a large body. The newborn hydras were small compared to their fully grown brethren, but at the same size as the Cerberus Grimm.

The Hydra Grimm still outside the walls, grew their heads back and hissed as the Cerberus Grimm jump off their bodies and run towards the wall. The guards on the wall fire into the forest as the Cerberus, hydras and the new Tyrannosaurus looking Grimm, bash their bodies into it.

Ike nose dives towards them but is immediately pursued by another flock of Nachtkrapp mutant Grimm. They tackled him with enough force to knock him out of the air and into Vale. They peck and claw at Ike as they all go crashing into several buildings.

Star: Ike!

Star flies towards Ike to assist while Bianca, Coco, and yourself fire at the Grimm below.

Jaune: What is that giant one?! It looks like a Creep on steroids!

You groan realising that it's the Creep is the next Grimm breed that Nightmare's mutated now.

(Y/n): Wonder what he calls that one-

Pilot: Oh shit!

You almost fall out of the airbus as the pilot pulls up. The last thing you see is a tree get thrown at you again as you lose consciousness

Star sees the airbus going down and stops himself. Biting his lip while looking between Ike and the airbus, he gathers dark energy into his left hand before letting out a yell. His eyes left eye turns yellow and a second wing sprouts but instead of it being another white angel wing, it's a black wing.

In the span of five seconds, the Nachtkrapp surrounding Ike are cut to pieces and everyone in the airbus is placed on the ground safely. Star places you down as everyone looks confused. Bianca however just shakes off the confusion and goes to you as Star steps back and holds his head and falls on his butt.

Coco: Star, are you okay?

Star: Yeah...I just...can't stay like that for awhile.

Ike turns back to normal and walks towards the group with cuts and bruises all over his body.

Ike: Star, what have Jasper and I said about That form.

Star: I'm sorry...I only used it to help everyone. At least it was only five seconds this time.

Ike was about to argue but looks at the small hydra making its way towards them.

Ike: Later bro. Heal and let's get ready to fight.

Ike says as he puts his hand out to Star who takes it as a bright light glows around the both of them.

Ike's wounds heal as they then both get into a fighting stance. The hydra's scream at the both of them as they approach. Suddenly, a large laser beam strikes the group of mutants causing Ike and Star to go wide eyed and look up at the Atlasian warship above them, followed by four more which are spewing out airships filled with Atlasian knight-200's.

Star: Heck yeah!

Ike: Ain't the holy order but they hit just as hard.

Ike says as a bullhead lands behind the group carrying team RWBY and a black haired woman wearing gray pants and boots, a beige leather sleeveless jacket with light-beige details, brown gloves, a sarashi tied around her chest and another around her hips, and a pauldron on her left shoulder. She also wears a belt around her waist which has multiple brown pouches attached to it. Her fingernails were painted with tan nail polish. Next to her weretwo familiar faces, Emerald and Mercury.

Velvet: Ruby!

Ruby looks at the rabbit faunas and smiles brightly.

Ruby: Velvet!

Ruby hugs her friend, glad that she's safe.

Blake walks over to Star as she looks at you and Bianca as Yang crouches next to you also.

Blake: What happened?

Star: Dunno. I looked away for a second and next thing I know their airbus is spinning out of control.

You groan as Bianca lightly slaps your face. You flail your arms at her slapping and turn on your belly to get up on all fours.

(Y/n): Ugh...I'm fine.

You stand up and look at the wreckage and the aircraft.

(Y/n): Damn. Saved from a crash and also reinforced. Should get knocked out more often...

Suddenly, a loud rumble is heard as more sirens go off.

You look at the newcomers.

(Y/n): Never thought I would see you guys again.

You say referring to Emerald and Mercury. The green haired girl nods.

Emerald: Yeah. Still, sorry about that. This is my leader by the way.

The black haired girl gives a smile and a slight wave.

Cinder: Cinder Fall, leader of team CMEN.

Ike: HA!

You look around, ignoring Ike's little outburst.

(Y/n): Where's the N?

You ask to which Emerald answers.

Emerald: She's around.

You grab your weapons and look at the smoke in the distance and hear gunfire in the distance.

Ruby: We should split up.

You nod in agreement.

(Y/n): Cerberus Grimm, aim for the head. The new Hydra Grimm, the body. The Nevermore mutants, they die to anything to go apeshit. As for the new Creeper mutant...run cause I don't know yet.

You admit as each leader nods in unison and runs off in a direction.

Ike quickly grabs Star.

Ike: Go on, Star and I have a plan.

He says which causes Star to look at him quizzically.

Star: We do?

Ike nods as you give a wave then nod at Bianca as you both run to back up the atlas personal.

Meanwhile, Emerald runs up to Cinder and looks at her worriedly.

Emerald: This is his doing...isn't it?

Mercury: No shit! What the hell is he doing?

Cinder stayed silent, however deep down she was seething that Nightmare had pulled this off behind her back. When she find him, he'll have a lot to answer for.

Back with the brothers, Star faces Ike fully.

Star: So...What kind of plan are we talking...?

Ike puts his right hand on Star's left shoulder and smiles.

Ike: Hear me out little bro. There's gonna be a lot of these things yeah? And with that new hole they've created in Vale's defensive wall, normal Grimm are going to take advantage of that and spread like a cancer.

Star nods as Ike relays the information to him. He was a bit surprised as well. He guessed that since Jasper wasn't around, Ike had to play the oldest brother around and come up with a plan.

Star: Okay. So what do we do.

Ike smiles at his brothers question.

Ike: You mean, what do I do.

There's a long pause between the two. The only thing snapping Star out of his bewilderment is an explosion in the distance.

Star: Noooo.

Ike's determinated face drops as he releases his hand from Star's shoulder and shrugs.

Ike: Why not?!

Ike exclaims to which Star steps towards his older brother.

Star: I'll give you four reasons. One, It takes five minutes to charge up and right now, we don't have five minutes! Second, Even after firing it off, it leaves you open as it completely drains you of energy. Third, you used it on the Alphected heart, it didn't work. Fourth, there's always a consequence! Like when you used it when getting me out of New Gate, and we had to deal with Abyss and Judgement!

Ike stays silent as another explosion is heard in the background.

Ike: ...So what I'm hearing is that the second time I officially used it...it did work anyway!

Star gives his brother a death glare to which Ike puts his arms out in front of him.

Ike: But! We haven't tried it with purple flames! Who knows what could happen? Less charge up time, no drawbacks, more power to the actual ability when it's unleashed...

Star goes silent but sighs in defeat.

Star: Okay, fine. If it takes longer than five minutes though. I'm coming back and bonking you in the head.

Star warns before running off and leaving Ike by himself. Ike looks around before launching himself into the air and looking around for the tallest building.

Ike: Hmm...Ooo!

He spots his target and runs towards it. On the way, he slides under a Cerberus Grimm while his yellow flaming chain wraps around it. He then pulls on it hard causing the chain to tighten around the Cerberus' body and split in half before turning to ash. He then launches himself to the top of the building and looks at the chaos happening all around him.

He looks at his hands as his yellow flames turn purple and he begins to focus.

Ike: Please be fast, please be fast.

He whispers as he closes his eyes.

Meanwhile, you had got separated from Bianca and were currently running from several Cerberus pups. Although the soldiers that caused this didn't know, still doesn't help the situation.

Star: (Y/n)!

You hear your literal guardian angel as you look behind to see him flying towards you. You jump and reach up onto the sky as Star grabs your hand as you then take off from the ground.

(Y/n): Good to see ya, bud. Any chance you have a way to deal with this?

You ask as Star keeps facing forward.

Star: I can handle the tough ones and if they're in a group. The main concern is more Grimm seeping into the city.

You see a Nachtkrapp coming towards you and shoot at it. Star sees what you're shooting at and shoots the Nachtkrapp in the head with precision.

Star: Which is why I'm dropping you to the hole in the wall, Jaune's team should be there with some white haired lady that looks kinda like an older Weiss and Ironwood.

(Y/n): Oh that's Winter! She's pretty cool. Cooler than Weiss.

Star smiles and chuckles to himself.

Star: Damn, that's cold.

(Y/n): Ha! Anyway, what's the real plan?

Meanwhile~

Creeper mutant stomps through Vale, its bone armour being too thick for any bullet to penetrate. It roars before chomping at Atlas knights and tearing them to pieces.

Yang: Not even your high calibres can punch through?!

Yang exclaims as Ruby just finishes her first clip.

Ruby: Crap...

Ruby loads another clip and continues firing at the Creeper mutant, hoping to at least distract it. The mutant's thick bone armor proves to be a formidable defense, shrugging off most of the attacks.

Yang: We need to find a weak spot!

Yang shouts as she uses her Semblance to power up her punches, striking the Creeper mutant with all her strength. However, even her enhanced attacks only result in minor scratches on its armor. The Creeper mutant takes a chomp at Yang only for her to hold its jaw open then fire into its mouth. It stops trying to bite down on Yang and stumbles back.

Bianca, who has been observing the fight, approaches Yang with a determined expression.

Bianca: Yang, I have an idea. We need to focus our attacks on its joints. If we can weaken them, it might give us a chance to figure out how to deal with it.

Yang looks at Bianca, intrigued by her suggestion.

Yang: Alright, let's give it a shot. We'll need to coordinate our attacks.

Bianca nods, and the two of them take up positions on either side of the Creeper mutant. As the mutant swings its massive arms, Yang and Bianca leap into action, targeting its knee joints with precise strikes.

Their combined efforts begin to take a toll on the Creeper mutant, causing it to stumble and lose its balance. Seizing the opportunity, Ruby, Weiss and Blake join in the attack, aiming for the weakened joints as well.

With each strike, the Creeper mutant becomes more vulnerable, and finally, its knee joints give way, causing it to collapse to the ground. The group gathers around the fallen mutant, ready to deliver the final blow.

Blake: Now what?!

???: Geronimo!!

The girls look up to see Star falling from the sky with a giant black and white greatsword in his hands. The Creeper mutants yellow eyes look up and it lets out a roar before Star's greatsword crashes into its skull, punching through with enough force to create a small crater under its head. Yang whistles in astonishment.

Bianca: That works too.

Star hops off the dissipating body of the creeper mutant and looks at the girls.

Star: You guys good?

Bianca: Yeah...Where's (Y/n)?

Star: I dropped him off at the hole in the wall with JNPR. They're helping soldiers with keeping normal Grimm from coming in. As for everyone else-look out!

Star was about to jump at a Cerberus pup about to pounce on Weiss however the pup was soon trapped in a purple bubble then flung into a building.

Ruby looks at their saviour to see professor Goodwitch.

Ruby: Professor!

Glynda comes to the group and looks at Star.

Glynda: Please tell me you have a plan Star?

She asks.

Star: Yes! Except it's not my plan, it's Ike's.

Bianca gives Star an unsure look.

Star: Hey! Give my big bro some credit. He steps up when he needs to.

Blake walks up to him.

Blake: What do you need us to do?

Star looks at her with unwavering determination plastered on his face.

Star: Buy time. For at least five maybe less minutes.

Ruby cocks her weapon and smirks.

Ruby: Easy.

Meanwhile~

You had told the same plan Star told you to JNPR, Winter and Ironwood who had come to assist on the ground.

Jaune: Dude, that sounds like a bad plan.

(Y/n): Don't kill the messenger.

You nonchalantly reply as you look out into the distance to see normal Grimm charging forward towards the city. You look at Winter then back at the Grimm.

(Y/n): Bianca says you're an amazing fighter, Winter.

Winter looks at you as you spin both Vulcans and aim at the approaching Grimm.

Winter: And she says the same about you. Are you curious about how good?

She asks as you smirk.

(Y/n): Yeah. An Example would be cool.

As if on cue, four white and blue glyphs appear on the ground in front of you as giant white Beowolves with blue eyes and a blue mouths appear. Jaune's mouth hangs open which Nora comically closes for him.

(Y/n): Hohohohooo! Finally, a Schnee who stands on business.

Ironwood loads his revolver and aims at the approaching Grimm while JNPR gets into a defensive stance, with Jaune and Pyrrha with their weapons out and Nora emitting electricity at her feet and Ren aiming stormflower.

The objective of buying time on everyone's minds.
