Victoria's POV

I walked through the NYC streets trying to find Steve. I knew he would try enlisting in the army so he and Bucky could fight. But Steve was in poor health, tho I knew that wouldn't stop him in any way. 

I saw Bucky outside wearing his uniform, my god he looked so hot, I felt my cheeks blush. I walked towards him and he saw me and said: " Vic you look amazing". I smiled, kissed his cheek, and said "So do you know where Steve went"? 

Bucky nodded and said "The movies". I nodded and he offered me his arm and I smiled and slipped my arm into his. 

We made our way to where Steve was and I said "You know that he won't stop right". 

Bucky nodded and said, " I know it is just after his parents passed away, his mother made me promise to look for him". I said "Yeah, you know Sara and your mother made me promise to look out for and to quote your mother "look after my son, and kick his ass when he's wrong".

Bucky laughed and said, "You kick my ass more than I can count". I laughed and said, "Well you deserve it half the time". Bucky looked at me and said " Vic before we find Steve, when we are in London how about you and me go .... on a date?" I smiled and said, "Of course, only if you are paying". 

Bucky and I just laughed and I heard a noise that sounded like fighting. I knew this would be another bully vs Steve. 

We walked into the alley and Bucky jumped in and said " Hey! Pick on someone your size." And kick his ass I was standing in the centre of the ally and he come closer I punch him and said "Get out of here". 

The boy ran off and I turned to Bucky and Steve walked up to them and said " You tried it again didn't you". 

Steve looked at me and said, "Yes of course I did". Bucky looked at me and said, " Sometimes I think you like getting punched".

Steve said, " I had him on the ropes". I said, "Right sure you did buddy". 

Bucky picked up the drop form that was on the ground and looked at the paper I looked over at it and Bucky said " How many times is this? You're from Paramus now?".

 I said, " Steve I know this is so important to you but you know it's illegal to lie on the enlistment form". 

Bucky adds " And seriously, Jersey?" Steve who hadn't looked at us didn't see the uniform. Finally, he looked up and saw it and said "  You get your orders?" 

Bucky smiled and said " The 107th. Sergeant James Barnes, shipping out for England first thing tomorrow."

Steve looked at me and saw the outfit and I said " Same thing as Bucky, I turned my head to Bucky and smiled tho I am an agent and I do outrank you, mr Barnes". 

Bucky smiled and said, "Yes do you". Steve who was always the third wheel the two of them. Steve always knew there was something more to the friendship. 

I knew Steve felt sad that he wasn't going with us and in a sad voice said "I should be going." 

Bucky and I swig my arms around him and said " Come on, man. Our last night! I got to get you cleaned up." Both of our arms drop. 

 Steve asks " Why? Where are we going?" 

Bucky said " The future."

 I said," Can we stop at my place for a second because I forgot my coat". 

Bucky laughed and said, "Of course you did". Steve also laughed and added, "You always forget something". 

I looked at them and said, "Oh laugh up boys remember I am the only one who picks up after you". 

We all laughed. 

Author note - I love this chapter so much, the trio is so special to me! 

Also, Bucky and Victoria need ship names. Help me I am terribly at it. Quick question - should she fall with Bucky or on the plane with Steve? I am really happy about writing more Marvel stories since I love them so much. 

I have 5 Bucky Barnes stories because why not because Bucky is hot?  And 1 Clint Barton stories.
