MANY SAY THAT GEORGE R.R. MARTIN WAS INSPIRED BY THE YORKS AND LANCASTERS TO WRITE GAME OF THRONES.

I sometimes doubt it. I think, however, that he was inspired by the battle for the British television franchise between Corinium and Venturer. How could anyone be so certain? Well, we only need one witness to bring this whole story to light. And perhaps the incestuous relationships, too, began at the edge of the rural and more filthy rich community of Rutshite, in the beloved village known as Falconry, where the Baddinghams lived. Maybe Sofia Huntington is not Cersei Lannister, but she could certainly belong to the Targaryen family with their peculiar tastes in in-laws.

This is a true story...except for those parts, which of course, aren't.

Welcome to the Cotswolds of 1986!

TONY BADDINGHAM IS A MAN... A man who wants it all. The past can't be changed, but the future is waiting for him to take control. And everything would be great if it weren't for Rupert Campbell Black and his intoxicating presence. He's his biggest rival, or so Tony wants to believe, because to be rivals is to be in the same position, and even though he wants to be more than anything, Rupert, society and himself will never make him forget where he comes from.

And neither will Sofia Huntington.

That pretentious little brat who gave him a headache every summer he spent eating like a pig at The Falconry... And who now has tits, a waist and full, red lips that made Tony wonder how good she would be using them for less ladylike activities.

That, at least, was what he thought before he realized who she was... and now there's no turning back, he's seen her as a woman, and as much as he tries to see her as his wife's niece, as his niece, he can't stop desire and jealousy from getting under his skin.

Tony is an ambitious man, and getting married for the second time wouldn't be bad either. I mean, Sofia is the next Lady of Glen, it was just a matter of making the right move and... No, fuck! She's his fucking niece!

But everything gets harder when the summer passes, and Sofia doesn't return to Argentina to continue her studies. It doesn't get easier when she moves into one of Corinium's apartments, nor when she discovers Tony's affair with his employee, Cameron Cook.

And Sofia is a damn snob, and she's more like Rupert Campbell-Black than he would like.

It's a dangerous tango that Tony is about to dance, but the challenges were the only thing that could give some spice to his perfect and stagnant life.

Because if he was honest, neither Cameron nor any other woman would ever compare herself to Sofia Huntington. Ironic or not, she was on the hunt, and he was the prey.
