"I'm detective mikasa, I work for S.C" Mikasa spoke calmly as the two sat on a bench on the edge of the town. 

"Marco a ghost" He spoke shyly with a weak smile. He was tall with brown hair and brown eyes, freckles covering his cheeks.

He seemed harmless in Mikasa eyes and knew he wasn't a bad guy/ghost. He was too kind and sweet by the looks of it, so why did they get called down saying he was trouble. It was cleared he hasn't ever left the town nor did he know about S.C. it seems. Mikasa explained to Marco why she was sent and pulled our her work phone, bring up an online book that explains what and who S.C. are. She sat letting Marco read all twelve pages and used her normal phone to send a text to Levi. 

"Are you going to kill me, well I'm a ghost so I'm already dead but are you gonna trap me" Marco asked with fear.

"No, we came to save you before the higher ups kill you. I need you to know why its dangerous for you to get close to the town people for so long. I understand your just being friendly but humans can become affected by being too close to aa magical creature. Their souls could even become effected in death making anything evil take over without their connect" Mikasa explained as she turned to Marco.

"I'm sorry, I never wanted to hurt someone in or out of life" Marco cried and Mikasa patted his arm.

"You didnt know, no one explained to this and that the S.C. fault for not finding you sooner and explaining this hall. Now I most tell you the two options you can now take" Mikasa sighed and Marco stopped crying.

"Options" Marco asked unsure. 

"You can either stay in this town but you must become a true ghost meaning you'll be fully invisible to the human eye. Only be able to be seen by those who work in S.C. or other magical creatures. You must not speak to humans again but you can still live close to them" Mikasa spoke clearly make sure he understood.

"Or" Marco asked with a worried smile.

"Or you can join up with the S.C., either by working as one of us or let the S.C. home you while giving you a type of job to do until you pass on. You'll be able to hang out with others daily and speak with as many as you want without causing harm" Mikasa replied and Marco smiled.

"I like the second opposite best. But I dont know if I want to join as a worker or live under the S.C., what do you think I'll be best suited for" Marco smiled kindly.

"Its not for me to say but Why dont think about it on our way to return to our base" Mikasa mumbled and stood up.

"Thank you for not killing me" Marco smiled sweetly and Mikasa nodded before leading him to the others that Levi should have gathered up by now. 

A ten minute walk later with Marco talking away without a care and Mikasa just silently listening to him. They both reached the Inn and mikasa lead Marco over to the grass area where the others waited for them. Marco tensed at see the group and turned to Mikasa who patted his shoulder letting him know it was ok.

"You explained everything to him" Hanji asked with a small smile.

"Yes, Mikasa taught me the basics and I will be returning with you all. Sorry for the mess I may have caused for you all" Marco shyly smiled and bow slightly.

"No worries, we just glad we could help. I'm eren and that crazy chick is Hanji, dont ever shake her hand if you wanna live peaceful" Eren grinned and held his hand out to Marco who shook it.

"No worries we couldn't spot you, your just like the town members, The name Jean" Jean smiled and held his hand out shook letting Marco shake it. 

"Will I be able to say goodbye to the town before I leave" Marco asked with worry.

"Sure we not monsters, we let you say goodbye for the rest of today since we leaving tomorrow morning now we have you. I'm Armin and I'm happy to fill you on more details about S.C." Armin smiled sweetly and gave a slight wave.

"Thank you and I would like to hear more about S.C." Marco smiled brightly and Armin nodded.

"Do you know if you want to become a worker/ detective like us or just one who lives under S.C. eyes" Levi asked with his arms crossed.

"No, I am still thinking about it. But once I say my goodbyes to the town I'll return to the Inn. Please explain S.C. to me a little more tonight" Marco replied slightly nervous by Levi.

"Sure and this guy known as Levi, he not so bad" Mikasa replied as she stood beside Levi who rolled his eyes.
